My friend told the fact At about 4 pm on March 13th, I drove a chevrolet car which had stopped for three months to "OK tire" to do the oil change. Before I was driving with my friend Paul, he could prove that the car condition was good and no issue, but after the maintenance man changed the oil , I found that the speed autometer did not work and the engine light was on too, so I asked the mechanic what was going on? He said the car's engine had already begun to light on before he changed oil, and as for the speed autometer did not work, he suspected it might be because it had not been stopped for long time, maybe the mouse or other animals came into the car to bite the cable. He said he can only help me to check a few mintues as he is busy, however he can give me a free careful check in the future. So, the problems were not solved, I drived car away with the engine light on and the autometer not working as well. In April I called the "OK tire" and hoped to get the car fully checked, I got the answer is to pay 80 Canadian dollars. I would say that this is the worst thing I have never met before, the OK tire has a bad credit, I suspect that the car issues were made by OK tire. I just want to remind everybody Please do not got to this shop to do any car maintenance, maybe yo will be the next one get the hurt.

Noticed a nail in my tire before leaving St. Albert. Gave the shop a call and they got me in right away. They were not able to repair my tire, but they put on my spare (which they also repaired)! They refused to bill me for any of the service they provided, even with quite an argument. This is clearly a hard working, honest family running this business. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Driving through town during a blizzard, my car appeared to have some issues that I could not resolve on my own. I stayed overnight and took the car in, without an appointment at 7:30 AM the next morning. They were able to help me and get me on my way again quickly and with a smile. Even though they were busy, they gave me honest advice and service and gave me a solid recommendation for a garage to take my car to at my destination should anything further arise.

Staff up front are great but i am unsure of the confidance instilled on the 1 tire guy specifically . I took my truck back 4 times to get forgotten weights taken off because of being out of balance . before getting the weighted beads installed it took 45 min to balance 1 tire forcing me to go with balance beads due to time , 16oz of weight on a tire that only took 3.5oz to fix by my dealer . After noticing a leak I decided to take my truck to my dealer and got the tires pulled off under my supervision . I found 1 tire only had 2 ounces of beads in where there should have been 6 the valve stems the owner showed me that were sposed to be installed were never installed , where the bead of the tire sits was full of oil , dirt , and tire beads causing a leak . Judge for your self . In the end it cost me more money taking my vehicle to OK Tire and ill never trust their tire services ever again .

100% recommend these guys. I am from hope and broke down in west Vancouver . Had it towed to them explained my situation needing my truck fixed fast having to pick up someone from the airport in a few days. Understanding that it was my only vehicle and would be travelling back to west Vancouver to pick it up they squeezed me in and had it fixed just in time even though they were swamped with other vehicles . I WOSH I COULD LEAVE A 10 STAR REVIEW. I love the overall atmosphere and the commitment from the staff. Over the bast 4 months I have constantly broke something on my Acura EL and every time I brake it I take it back to glacier because I know every time that I'm getting the best costumer service. Norm always seems happy to help and gets right to it. One time I wrecked my engine and he went out found another Acura El took the engine out and swapped it in 12 hours, if that's not showing how much they care I don't know what is. He’s a long-time St. Albert community member and was able to help me out on a weekend with a sudden truck issue. Although it was not resolved here, he was open and honest about that fact and didn’t charge me even though he easily could have for the time I watched him spend with my vehicle. Integrity is hard to come by these days, which is why I strongly recommend his shop for that reason alone.

Get you back on the road quickly and with confidence 5. The owner (Norm) is funny! Often times I am met with a wee bit of eyeball rolling when I visit a shop ( I know just enough about automotive mechanics to get myself in trouble )????Norm was awesome with my list, after going through everything, he was honest about what I needed and did not. These guys could have worked on my Millie for weeks ( forgot to mention she's a 30-year-old camper van that is my home for the next few months of road tripping). They worked on what needed to be done to have a safe trip; some of my list was things that were simply cosmetic. Could've been fixed but to work with my budget, their advice was to put the money elsewhere. She is now purring like a kitten and even has improved gas mileage-that's big! During Millies visit, I saw everything from huge 1 ton HD Diesels to Quads, there may have been a coffee maker in there as well.....? These days, it seems mechanic specialize in one or two things. Glacier Industrial Services is well named, as it seems there is a huge spectrum of jobs they can take on! Thanks guys for giving my girl a longer life .....and for lowering my mortgage rates!! Ha ha!

Lawrence and Tony have been so awesome to know and work with. I've found value and satisfaction in supporting smaller local businesses that tend to have to compete with larger franchise ones. It's a closer more personal connection. I finally got winter tires for my front wheel drive car that perform great thanks to manual transmission (greatest thing ever and always will be). Much later I realized I wish I had bought the wheels for the tires as well. They always wanted to give the best service that will keep you coming back. They sources wheels for the tires and delivered more than expected by not charging fully 100% of the expected cost (breakdown of all work done is personal). I started getting disappointed with my dealership shop as my car has been no longer made by Hyundai for about 11 years now. They never seemed to make a very good effort in sourcing parts and accessories for it, nor cared much. In fact, when I asked them when my clutch/slip disc/flywheel might need replacing for my manual transmission, I was turned off to hear them say that "we may not even be able to source those" for my vehicle. I'm now much more inclined to come to Tony and Lawrence for future service as shops are often well networked enough with sources of parts they need. We hope they remain a popular and valued shop in years to come.

Been trying for over two months to get the standard warranty that comes with new tires. Went ahead with a 7000 k trip through Labrador and Newfoundland with no issues, thankfully.I had tried before for over four weeks to get the warranty with no success but went ahead anyway. Still no warranty literature, even after assurances from OK Tire headquarters. I cannot understand the dealers reluctance to provide the warranty. I just tried to call headquarters twice and was hung up on, hence this review.

Our engine light came on during our trip from London to Parry Sound this afternoon so we pulled off the highway and went to Canadian Tire. They wanted $45 just to do the scan. So I googled other mechanics in the area and thankfully I got this one! They were really welcoming and invited us to come before they closed. We got there & David the owner was really kind & professional from the get go. He did the scan for nothing and explained to us what we needed to do, & voila, no more engine light. He told us that when we finally settled in BC that we could check out OK Tire over there and if we ever have any questions or problems with their service we could write him & he would sort it out. Can't say enough good about the people here and the level of service they provide!! We are in route to Alaska from NY and needed work done on our truck tire. They got us in immediately and out back on the road in no time. And at half the cost of what we anticipated. Twice I have had to drop off my car to Tony and the team unexpectedly when my car was making some scary noises. While always busy at the shop, Tony always makes time to provide exceptional service. I had a tire blow out just outside of Brooks. Went to ok tire, Dwayne took care of everything for me. I had a broken window,(landed in the ditch, found out later it was a flower pot that broke through the window upon impact). Dwayne found me new tires, and a new window. I was very happy with all the help he gave me from phoning around to find the special type of window. He also cleaned all the glass. Highly recommended his ahop.

Needed an odd size tire, called to multiple places, OK Tire were the only ones willing to put in some extra effort beyond "sorry, we have nothing" and found a size very close to what I needed. Worst Customer service. I was in a bad position had a flat tire. Nursed it to OK tire at 9:00 am . Was told they couldn't help me till tomorrow pm. I said really , it's a flat and takes 15 min to fix. No help.... so I left ,, go lucky and made it up the road to another place that helped me.

Took my truck to them for a wheel alignment. They did a good job on the alignment, diagnosed a leak for me, and told me of a couple of other issues which i wasn't aware of, as well as recommending a source for parts. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, will be taking my vehicles to them in the future.

Stuck on the Trans Canada in the middle of the night with thousands of KMs. to go. Smoked a wheel bearing on my utility trailer and parked in the lot till opening time. When the Manager saw me in the morning he said he was booked pretty heavy but he would do his best. Well that he did. The wheel bearing was low cost but turned out to be labour intensive. I bought a couple of tires because I needed them but the bill he handed me in no way showed his labour cost. These guys are the best.

I am so grateful to the lovely employee (Lawrence) who came to my rescue today. I was in West Van on business today and the oil pan protector plate fell off - all except for one screw. It was dragging on the ground and there was no way I could drive back to my office in South Vancouver. Another place wouldn't even look to see what was wrong unless I wanted to wait 2 hours until they could maybe get to me.(@bigOtire I'm looking at you) I didn't think I'd have any better luck at Ok Tire but Lawrence came right over and had a quick look. When he saw the problem, he quickly figured out a way to get at the remaining screw without putting my car up on a lift. He had the plate off in less than 5 minutes, assured me I could easily get it reattached when I had a chance and I was able to be back at my office for a meeting right on time! My appreciation knows no bounds. Thank you very much for your help.

Tony and the crew at OK Tire did a phenominal job of taking care of my car when I suddenly blew a tire on my way up to Squamish. I had needed all my tires replaced for a bit, but I found out the hard way just how badly I needed some fresh rubber under my car. I tried calling a lot of shops in the area, but none had tires that would work well for my '07 Mustang. Unfortunately a previous owner had upgraded the rims & tires to an odd, bigger set and I simply didn't know enough about cars to understand what that would mean for me at the time. Whoever upgraded the rims also took the liberty of forgetting to replace the tire iron with the correct size for the new lugs, so I was totally stuck on the mountainside with no way to get my spare on. One of the shops I called suggested that I phone OK Tire next. Tony helped me identify my current tires and figure out what kind of tires I would need over the phone while I was stranded on the highway waiting hours for a tow. Eventually BCAA called and told me to just leave my car there and get a ride back down with someone else, so I didn't get a chance to go back to the shop to sort out the details of my car repair. Even still, the folks at OK Tire went above and beyond to help me out remotely. They found me a great set of tires, ordered them up and completed the work on my car super quick even though I didn't have any kind of appointment booked with them! I took transit down to the shop the next day to pick up my vehicle and the final cost was super reasonable. Not to mention that it felt like driving a new car on the highway back home! I would strongly recommend the crew at OK Tire to anybody who needs a qualified tech to recommend a set of good tires, and to anyone who needs incredibly fast, top-notch service.
