Brought my 2017 Durango RT at least three times to get an annoying noise taken care of. Three times did the service department ( Ian was the technician ) spend the time trying to diagnose the issue and replaced two parts. I did not spend a single cent. It's hard to find a car dealership that doesnt try to screw you around specially when it comes to service and warranty work. Cuddos for the great customer service and not giving up on my problem. Its seems easy to just say that issues aren't there when it's a hard one to troubleshoot. Ian would not give up. It ended up being a bad drivers side strut. It seems to be a common issue with these vehicles. Thank you and thank you Ian for all your hard work and patience.

Our experience with Kingston dodge was seamless and enjoyable. Wanting to "trade in and trade up" our 2011 dodge grand caravan we looked at our options in Kingston. We had a budget in mind and didnt want to go over it. Randy was a breath of fresh air, especially when the world of car buying can be a little daunting. From our initial interaction (via email) his tone and willingness to help us achieve our goal was a relief! (We hadnt had the best luck in our search up to this point). We gave him our perimeters and he got to work on options. We have 2 little kids and he knew the value of our time - so when we went in to see/hear what he had to offer he made the options simple and straight to the point. We were able to make a decision that day! We were given a very reasonable offer on our trade in and feel we got exceptional value on our new 2015 van. To whom it may concern, I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Kingston Dodge. I purchased accessories for my 2014 Jeep Sahara including a pet carrier (dog loves it), rubber mat set, fuel filler door cover and rear tail light mesh. They managed to collect everything and install it by noon the following day. I was impressed. I was also offered the courtesy of a voucher for a coffee and cookie in their in-store restaurant. This is my second time buying from this dealership and both times I left more than satisfied. I informed Randy the type of vehicle I was looking for, something that I would feel comfortable driving in and out of some muddy construction sites where I work, yet also something that would be a pleasure to drive around urban and town areas. Service and parts department seems very nice. They fixed a warranty issue in a neat and timely fashion. Update : Paid $300 for a new key fob. They tried to give me one that you had to push down with all your strength on the buttons. Barely worked. They knew it but still tried I suspect because they didn't have anymore. I didn't except it. New one came with in an hour. Because of this they are dropping from 4 to 3 stars.

Bought a new Dodge Caravan in 2013. Great vehicle! Never really had any issues, one of the best vehicles I've ever owned and would buy another. The only issue I had was with the dealership. Basically there was an issue that I could have repaired under warranty but the dealership talked me out of it because it wasn't really fully non functional. So I lived with it, when it finally broke out of warrantee they would not help me other than fix it at full cost. What I learned.... handshakes don't mean much with this dealership.

Hi all, I just wanted to post a “Fantastic” experience I had at Kingston Dodge Chrysler (JEEP) yesterday. First, I’m fairly new to Kingston so was looking for some Jeep Dealer support to have my 2017 Jeep Rubicon Wrangler serviced. (Specifically I needed my vehicle computer “Flashed” so it would accommodate a back up camera.) My first point of contact was with Michelle in the service dept. I can’t say enough about this experience. Michelle was pleasant, welcoming, professional and knowledgeable of what I needed and was trying to do. (I should also note I “did not” have an appointment for service and being new to Kingston I had not bought my Jeep here. I was a walk in....) Michelle listened to my needs and then took a moment to wander into the service bay area to locate the Technician to see if they could squeeze me in that day. When she returned she informed me that she could get me serviced in about 5 minutes. Wow! Michelle then proceeded to informed me of the on-site cafe/breakfast area upstairs should I want to have a coffee or breakfast while I waited. (excellent area and the omelette was fresh/home made) Before I could finish my coffee/breakfast I was paged my vehicle was ready. Another Wow! Absolutely AMAZING dealership and service....this is extremely rare to find nowadays. So, Thanks so much Michelle and KUDOS to the Tech and all the staff at Kingston Dodge Chrysler (and Jeep :) for setting the bar for all other dealers.....believe me I’ve been to many in my travels and none compare to this experience. Horrible mechanic work. Took in a 2006 dodge charger daytona due to hesitation and stalling. I was leaving the province and family for a month so i just wanted one less headache fixed and save myself the time of figuring and fixing it myself. I was quoted over 1300 for POSSIBLE ignition problems due to some minor oil around cylinder one ignition coil requiring a tune up and replacing all coils, replacing valve gaskets, tighting\testing alternator just to start. Obviously i said forget it, i drove it in and then had it towed home. Coming back from deployment i found they had not put the vehicle back to the way it was brought in and various things were left unplugged, had a coil hanging, just basically stopped where they were i guess and left it. I started work on charger. Cylinder one had one spark plug (in 5.7L there are 2 sparkplugs per cylinder) that was toast, no spark, metal lip broken. Had dodge taken the time to actually inspect the sparkplugs they would have solved the main issue instead of only speculating. No coils were burnt out, only one sparkplug was the issue. The mechanic saw the oil and couldnt even take the one or two mins to inspect the plugs. That is beyond piss poor service. On top of that once i replaced the plugs and fixed the issue, upon starting it, the battery light came on and after couple mins the water temps were getting high so i shut it off and inspected the alternator which dodge said was loose... THE MECHANIC LEFT THE ALTERNATOR HARNESS UNPLUGGED! so i put the harness back on, checked connections and everything seems fine. Horrible service, sheer laziness. Best part is my fog lights do not work and neither does the redefroster so i get to go back over the electrical that some lazy mechanic failed to put back together. Piss poor serivce, over priced, just garbage. If i did my job like this place does people would die. Will never ever go to this dealership ever again and am advising all friends and family and coworkers to avoid it like the plague.

Very disappointed in this establishment. We had planned on purchasing a vehicle after a test drive. Given the nature of issues going on currently with the "stay at home order," we were unable to travel to this location as we would be coming from out of town. We had a friend close to the area that was willing to test drive the car. A mistake on their part was made and the wrong car was driven. We had called to fix the issue and noticed the price had been changed when we had asked if the original price would be honored (as we had documents stating the original price) they refused any negotiation. Again, very disappointing hearing companies only care about money as if it hadn't been for their mixup the car would have been purchased.

My parents have bought their last.... 5 r so vehicles from Mr Cheeseman. The sales staff at this dealership are top notch and take excellent care of their customers. I wish I could say the same for the service department. Over the past year I've had my Jeep in for an extended period for some major diagnostics and repairs, my girlfriend has attempted to get her new van in for service and warranty issues, and most recently I needed the snow tires that were included in the recent purchase I made installed.... The consistently recurring theme is I have to contact my sales team to get a call back or a promised call from the service department. I shouldn't have to bug the sales department to initiate contact with service. I have no issues with the work done. My vehicles are in good hands with the technicians here, I have the utmost confidence in them. I didn’t know about the tire pressure warning sign popping up if you get new winter tires installed without purchasing the sensors with it. I wasn’t warned, and it did happen. So I called them expecting some answers, still not knowing about the sensors. Well.. they told me the tire pressure is fine , and the sign is there because I didn’t buy the sensors , but I can get them for $240 extra. According to their parts department, most of their clients don’t buy the sensors, as it’s an extra cost, and they tell absolutely everyone about it - I found out later on. Well, they didn’t tell me.. which is not a big deal at all - they should’ve acknowledged it and apologized, but it wasn’t the case. John( who wasn’t there at the time) assured me that they actually told me about it, but I forgot.. They inform everyone about it all the time, and they did in my case, but I somehow forgot about it. What can I say ? Just be warned, anything happens - they told you so, but you forgot.. Even if you cannot forget something you haven’t been told, you forgot it anyway. Something to think about.. PS there’s a response from the marketing manager Colin. It obviously misses the point which is in their telling me that I forgot something they told me - and they didn’t. In other words, they tell me I am having memory problems.. that’s nice :) I do not want the sensors for free - I can pay for them, of course. They just need to learn to listen to their customers and not to blame them for their own mistakes.

Pulled into lot at 11am and had message from salesman that we could not test drive the car as the brakes needed to be fixed. Why are you advertising Certified Pre-owned when it was obviously NOT certified!!! We live 2.5 hours from Kingston, so you just lost a sale and a customer. Also, maybe your salesperson shouldn't wear sunglasses in the showroom when talking to customers.

Extremely poor customer service. General Manager gives little priority to service customers. He will defer any mistakes back to you and anyone else he can point a finger at. When McDonalds makes a mistake on a drive through order, "Sorry" is adequate; I think something more than an insincere and cowardly apology is required when an automobile dealership/service centre turns a quick recall/oil change into a broken truck and lost work time on Monday (and beyond?), leaves your work truck unlocked in an ungated yard with valuable tools inside ("That's what insurance is for" they will tell you) ("We do lock checks every night!" Well i guess not when the service guys are taking off Friday evening), and makes insufficient attempts to contract the vehicle's driver when a fleet service (providing reduced profit margains) is involved. Oh and when they ask you if you will need a shuttle when you book an appointment, they will not have a shuttle there for you at that appointment time. When you tell them you are calling a cab, they won't give you a cab voucher. I guess that small luxury is a thing of the past. Just stay clear folks.

Bought $10,000 truck saftey and e-tested. 3 months later needs 5 things replaced, due to parts being seized or cracked. Ebrake which hadn`t been used and numerous other things. The mechanic from Speedy who discovered the damage said there was no way all these things broke since i bought under 4 months ago. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM KINGSTON DODGE. My 3 last appointments was a disaster, they forgot my last one and the instruction that came with, the other one they charge more for part that i had preorder...like 100$ more, they readjusted it after I proved that they got it wrong, 3rd caught them with normal oil when i ask for synthetic. i have been driving wrangler since 2002. worst dealer i had to deal with. Long story short tpms stem valves needed replaced, I asked them to put-in a regular one they said it's not possible so i ended-up paying almost two hundred for the tpms valve and labour, i decided to go to Kaltire for the second one and guess what they've never heard of any rim were you can't put a regular valve stem so not only did they put a regular one they did it for free which was actually quite impressive and unheard of nowdays.

Super bad service. My husband took his car in to check for and oil leak. They didn't even looked at it and charged him 246$. They said there was no leak. The Mechanic very rude, disrespectful and screamed at my husband and walked away when asked what he had done to the car. the Service Manager said he believed his technican, When clearly there was NOTHING done on the car!! Even though the manager checked the car himself and made it look like they cared and apologize for his behavior. The 2nd time the Oil change guy found the leak by just opening the hood. The manager offered to bring in once again for another check ( free of cost)and by magic found the leak. Then they were charging more and we said Nope and they don't want to refund my 246$ that i recently paid to get it looked at the 1st time. He carries my children in the car. Im glad it wasn't anything worst, that could have end up causing and accident!!!

Received diagnosis and quote for a problem with the heating and cooling system in my Jeep Cherokee as well as the door latch and an oil change. Told them when the heat was on, it blew cold air out of the one side and when the cold was on it blew hot air. Not sure what else I could have said. Was quoted around 1300.00 . They replaced the right side blend door, tested it and when I picked it up it still had the same problem. Took it back they diagnosed it to be the driver’s side actuator AC and heater/ gear-actuator, so it ended up costing another 430.00. Not very happy to say the least. What was the point in paying for diagnosis.

My wife and I have been to multiple dealerships over the past couple of weeks, including 3 others in Kingston: Thompson, BMW and VW. We have also visited one in Belleville and a couple in Ottawa, in addition to corresponding with others in Toronto and Montreal. We felt that Kingston Dodge had a nice lineup and it would have been best to buy local. We actually went to Thompson first but the vehicle we looked at was just sold. So we spent 2+ hours in Kingston Dodge Chrysler on Monday and 2+ on Tuesday. The salesperson who helped us, Curtis, is a nice guy. We were debating whether to buy a used or new vehicle. On Monday, we were told my the sales manager, Trevor, that if we chose a new vehicle, they would be able to work out an excellent deal. He said they could knock 1000s of the sticker price. It is, after all, a buyers market – with lots of competition (especially with the ability to shop online). So, we went on Wednesday, prepared to make a deal. We found a new vehicle we liked and test drove it. At the same time, Curtis’s manager assessed our 1 trade in. Before getting ANY final numbers, we were told to go back and get our other trade in. We made the 30 or so minute round trip, despite my wife being sick. We brought it and spent more time when it was assessed. We invested a lot of time out of our busy schedule to accommodate doing it this way. We did get to test drive a jeep while we waited for the appraisal, though. Then the moment of truth. Curtis, who is a new employee, went to talk to his manager about numbers. We were excited because we had been told blah blah blah, time and again, about how good of a deal we would get on a brand new car. Curtis came back and............gave us the lowest trade in appraisal out of EVERY (10-15) dealership we had visited and/or corresponded with, and it wasn’t close. I was just appraised at 19500k from a Belleville dealership on the weekend, and Kingston Dodge Chrysler offered me 13k! That’s a huge discrepancy. For reference, this morning another dodge/jeep dealership offered me 4k more on my cars and 7k less on a brand new, better jeep (Sahara vs. Sport S. with extra features). When I previously mentioned the discrepancy in price a few days ago, I was told that the other dealership in question had hidden fees. I doubt they add up to 7k though. The biggest kick in the teeth was the fact that they took ZERO dollars off the new jeep that they said they’d give us a great deal on, other than the $1500 that was already taken off in the first place. Unreal. The blatant arrogance and disrespect of this situation left me with a really bad taste in my mouth. The manager then came in and tried to ask me what numbers I would need to make a deal, because he wants to “earn my business”. Hmmm, how about not being so arrogant and trying to make it seem as if my trade ins (2015 Sentra with 72k and 2012 Sonata Hyrbid with 97k - both daily drivers) are complete junk? The damage had been done. We got up and walked out before I absolutely lost it, and that will be the LAST time any of my family ever set foot in this place. Do not recommend.

Not very good service. Dropped Journey off as requested this app at 9:15am for a 2-3 hour job to be done under warranty. They gave us a car to use while they worked on mine. Waited for 4 hours and still no call, so we returned to dealership to find my Journey outside where they had parked it when we left. No one went near it for 4 hours, not until we returned to take it home. Not very happy, not likely to be going back for service there anytime soon.

UPDATE: I had to take my van back in as there were issues with one of the tires. I had not yet had it for a month and the general manager implied that because I had actually driven the van and not just parked it, it wasn't his problem. He decided to give me an insulting discount to go along with the disgusting experience. On a nearly $300 bill he saved me $23.40. I will never be visiting this dealership again and urge anyone reading this to consider going elsewhere. Excellent Customer Service & care. Last week our daughter (who is a student at Queen's) had some trouble with her Jeep. We live 6+ hrs away and it is very difficult for us to help her when in need. After making some phone calls, we arranged for her to drop it off at Kingston Dodge. Not only did they fix the Jeep in a timely manner but they called a taxi for our daughter to be dropped off at her home (no charge to her) and called a taxi to come pick her up when it was repaired (again no charge).
