Had my own Financing on Lease-to-Own. Sales Manager Ted W. picked 2010 Dodge Caravan. License fine issues. Would not deliver Vehicle. Payment taken as deal closed. Clancy bumped price and are re-selling our vehicle?? Will end up in Court as Ownership dispute.

In a year when I thought it couldn't get any worse, my Denali was side swiped and written off by a city snow plow on Christmas day. Perfect way to end an already rotten year. I had a limited budget to work with and due to the fact I"m not currently working, financing was not an option. I narrowed my search down to a Chevy Tahoe/Suburbam or another GMC Yukon. All the ones in my price range were really not that great of shape, beat up, run down, high mileage and jjust ust not worth what they were asking. I went and looked at 5 and couldn't bielive my eyes. One night I came a cross this gem at Clancy Motors Ltd. A 2009 all original Chevrolet Tahoe SSV 4x4., 5.3L, 6speed, low kms, one owner. Only problem I live in London the truck is in Kingston. I called Clancy Motors the following day and inquired about the said vehicle. The salesman Walter and I discussed the truck and I explained my situation. I requested more pictures to see if it was worth the drive. Walter sent me pictures and assured me it was everything he said it to be. Two days later I called him back, told him I was interested I just needed to find a way to get there. At which point Walter went over and beyond what I ever expected a salesman to do. He offered to meet me halfway in Whitby if I wanted the truck but I'd have to put some money down. He also stated if its not everything he said it to be I didn't have to buy it and could back away anytime. I took Walter up on that offer. This is the first vehicle I have ever purchased with only seeing pictures and not taking it out on a test drive. When my Tahoe rolled up into the Wendy's parking lot and I saw it for the first time I couldn't believe the shape it was in. Walter is a man of honor, his words are truthful and honest. The truck he sold me is everything he said it to be. It's dependable, reliable, body is great shape, mechanically sound, There were no hidden surprises no hidden fees. I would strongly recommend Clancy Motors Ltd to anyone in the market for a top quality used automobile.

Got a 2005 Impala on July 6 2016. Almost was killed 2 days ago because my brake line broke. Had to get it towed. The mechanic showed me that every brake line and fluid line was rotten. In his opinion the car should NEVER of passed the safety. I went back to him and he told me not his problem. He was more concern about who said it. All my lines were leaking. Because I was over the 6 months Ministry of Transportation could not help me. So be aware when you buy a used car! The sad part was I am on an disability which he knew and I only used the car for short distances . Drained my saving for this car, now I have no vehicle. Thank you so much Mr Clancy.

Unbelievable , I Should have read these reviews , test drove the other day , kinda had a bad feeling about this sales person named Ted . My gf said its over priced and Wasn't comfortable , so upon researching same car the year was wrong as posted on car he is over pricing and km on car seemed off too . I'd would not bother with this place .

Buyer beware , purchased a 2010 red dodge van with 180000 km from Clancy motors through a credit agency out of Ottawa , Signed a contract and lease but sales man Ted refuses to keep van on lot till the 25th as my husband needs time to pay a fine before transferring ownership over Despite first payment was today. Back track to Wed ted said our credit agency cancelled the contract and lease we called not true he tried to cancel but the credit agency said van is now sold to my husband , I called him on it and he flipped as I caught him in his lie he then said I'm not keeping van here till the 25 th , he was However told twice to then deliver van to our lot and Bring in plates with ownership on 25 th nope he flipped again and said oh well I'll just re sell um can't do that as deal was finalized on wed . so we Took a peak sure enough back up for sale and he bumped the price too , damm I'm furious .upon reviewing contract he wrote in that the km were on 165000 nope 180000 we have copies of contract and lease as well as original ownership in Clancy motors name which we need for switching over . we then registers the contract and lease with the ontario auto bureau Register our name and lease / contract will come up but they said he has to deliver van as our payment was today . They are now conducting an investigation .please be aware. Were going to fight this anyway we can. He has also raised the price from $8,000 to $8,950 . I have copies of lease , contract with the price of $8,000 what he is doing is wrong. He Also changed the km from 180,000 to 160,000 which makes it even worse and slimy. Please at all costs do not buy this van you will end up having to Pay us $8,000 as our contract / lease is registered with a ontario Auto government agency . I would hate for someone to get burned by him. Hes also violent as well when he caught in a lie .

I went with a lady friend of mine years ago when she purchased a Mazda mpv mini van certified and etested over 5 years ago at least overdrive light kept flashing transmission gave out not even a few months after purchase . Clancys are crooks . Buyer beware buddy's with able auto they chum together . I wouldn't even of gave them 1 star if I didn't need it to post this review . They aren't even worth that . The transmission repair cost over $2600 . Clancys are black balled . Remember we are all judged by the company we keep
