I would definitely recommend this dealership, whether you are from Winnipeg or not! I am actually from South-Western Ontario and I was searching for a very particular vehicle, which happened to be at Vickar Nissan in Winnipeg! From the beginning of the process until the very last step everyone involved was incredibly friendly, helpful and genuinely cared to ensure it worked out. Purchasing a vehicle from a different Province is not the easiest thing to do, but they made it an enjoyable experience. Even when circumstances beyond their control complicated the matter - nothing to do with the dealership themselves, rather the freight carrier - they went out of their way to rectify the issue even though they didn't necessarily have to and had it done in a timely manner. So, to Chris, Evan and Kelly - I deeply appreciate everything you did for me! 5 Star Service in my opinion!

I walked away extremely satisfied with my experience at Vickar Nissan. Darren Lusty was helpful and informative, without being pushy. I had looked at other vehicles at other dealerships, and did not feel comfortable with the sales tactics used there. I felt very comfortable with Darren. I had to replace my last Nissan due to a bad car accident, and the stress of all that had worn me down. Darren was understanding, accommodating and honest. Shane in finance was also very easy to deal with, and was great at explaining extras that were offered with my purchase without pressure. Since purchasing my vehicle, I had a slight concern with a taillight, and Darren quickly and easily booked me in for my vehicle to be looked at the next day. I am a happy customer!

I have purchased 3 vehicles with them and since they changed to Vicker, everything has gone down hill. 3 vehicles all with extended warranty. Most recently we were on a road trip with our Rogue and the AC started just to spill water all over the floors and just shoot vapour. We got back into the city and took it to the dealership. We were just over our REGULAR KM warranty and well within the extended warranty they wouldn't do it. They charged us $700 to replace the climate controls. Problem still persists so we find out from somewhere else the issues is as simple as a clogged drain! Hosed by the dealership for $700 on an easy fix anywhere else. Calls don't get returned ,messages are ignored. Just a joke. Go elsewhere and save yourself the Hassel.

Very unhelpful dealership. We came in with a set budget and although it was on the lower side they said they'd be able to find something. In person they said it wouldn't be as easy to find something because they thought we'd said biweekly when we had clearly said monthly. They found a car to show us and before we got too invested we asked if it was within our budget and wanted to talk about cost. The salesman said it was and we fell in love with the car. It was used but we liked it. Until it came time to talk finances finally and they wanted biweekly what they knew we had wanted monthly. And they didn't even acknowledge that it was higher than what we asked for. They would barely budge on the price and then when they saw we weren't going to say yes they tried to sell us on a much worse car but we'd already been there for a long time so we left. The manager talked to my wife on the phone about it and would kind of say it's not their fault and was kind of rude. To top it all off after talking to multiple sales people none of them acknowledged my wife was even there. Only taking to me until it was time to get her license for the test drive where they finally asked for her name. But from the beginning they shook my hand and introduced themselves and talked only to me. The manager claimed that this was a mistake since their policy is to "always address women and children first" which seems only moderately better. We ended up buying a better version of that car for less at another dealership anyway. Which was good.

I will most likely never go back to a Vickar dealer.

We bought a 2017 Nissan Rogue SL Platinum from this dealership, This was a truly terrible experience I would not recommend this dealership to my friends my family or my co-workers, They were very sneaky and shady, IF this dealership promises you anything make sure you get it in writing, We payed cash for this vehicle after we purchased the vehicle we started looking online we noticed that this dealership sold us the vehicle at a financing price not a cash purchase price therefore they didnt apply the cash purchase discount and the rebates properly, This dealership also charged us $700.00 for a interior that was advertised for $500.00, The dealship will not acknowledge anything to do with the pricing issue's at all, I even sent The dealership The information showing we were over charged No response. The undercoating was inadequately applied and rust proofing was very minimal we had to take it back twice to get it touched up and it is still not done right because they left the vehicle outside in the cold and it didn't properly seal, When we asked them if it was inside for the weekend there response was yes it was inside all week end mean while it wasn't caught them in a lie, I should have taken the vehicle to a professional shop to have the undercoating and rust proofing done right the first time, I been looking under the vehicle and the lower ball joints are showing signs of corrosion how could they be showing signs of corrosion already when it's a brand new vehicle, there response was that's the way all rogues comes from the manufacturer and how they fixed it they scaped some of the corrosion off, I have also noticed that there are a few wires that are exposed underneath the vehicle that could cause problems later due to weather conditions, There response was that's the way all rogues comes from the manufacturer and how they fixed it they put electric tape over the bare wiring. After driving this vehicle for a couple months we do not feel safe and We truly regret purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. Best Regards;

I was looking for a used Honda CRV and found a used one at Vickar Nissan in Auto Trader. I immediately sent a request to see it. I called and spoke to Ryan Henderson and said I could come after work to see this vehicle. I came there and the car was close to the door, ready for me to take a test drive. Ryan was super to talk to, showing me all the features in the CRV. So, I took it for a drive and the CRV was amazing. Ryan showed me the CarFax detailing all the history of the vehicle. I really appreciate the quality service I received at Vickar Nissan. I was quickly greeted at the door by Bryan, a sales consultant, and he helped me find a vehicle that met my needs at a price I was comfortable with. After agreeing on the purchase, and taking into consideration the condition of my trade in vehicle, they were gracious enough to provide me with a safe courtesy vehicle to get me through the next couple of days to transport my kids with and was appreciated immensely. Was in for service and while waiting I went to see what was new. I saw the new redesiged 2021 Rogue and absolutely loved the new design. Sales person Vishal took the time to show me all the new features. Told them if they can get me out of my 2018 Quashqi and keep my payments similar I'd probably buy the Rogue. Just to share my today's experience at the Vickar Nissan at Regent Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. I went to the store (11:45 am Jan 14, 2017) to inquire about pre-owned vehicle and I was welcomed by receptionist and then a sales person (David - Trainee). He took me to his desk and introduce with another sales person (Sameer Gupta). He asked me about my requirement and expectations. I then shared my budget and asked him to suggest something from their pre-owned inventory by looking at my monthly expenses. Being an existing owner of Nissan vehicle I decide to go with another upgraded vehicle of Nissan. After some conversation between us he offered me a deal on 2016 Nissan Rouge (SL Platinum Model) and told me that we will match the price (bi-weekly payment with few more dollars) with your expectation of pre-owned vehicle. WOW! By looking at the deal I was so excited and make my mind for new vehicle so then I asked him that I want to bring my wife in store and finalize, then what he offered me to take the vehicle home and show it to your wife and ask her opinion. Then I called my wife from store and mentioned that I am bringing a car to show you, off-course she was excited too. So, finally I showed her a car then drove to Autopac to inquire about monthly insurance as I just want to make sure that I am within my budget. Then I went back to the store and met with the Manager (very nice Gentleman) and he asked about my experience of driving new car. Cut the story short, at the end when I was all agreed to buy the new Nissan Rouge 2016. They presented a deal on paper in front of me and by looking at that deal I was surprised why it’s different then their prior commitment, So I asked them about what they committed before (for which the Trainee - David was witness of all these conversations between me and Sameer Gupta) and they said this is the best deal we can offer you (which was more then what they offered me before). After spending about 4 – 5 hours with them I left the store as unhappy customer without purchasing a car. My only suggestion to them If you can’t stand on your commitments then please don’t make such commitments, because it’s hurts person feelings. UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.

Brought my vehicle here for an mpi repair. I was requested to bring it in for a pre-inspection for a day, then return at a later date to get the work done. Found this strange, but I figured ok, at least they will look over things thoroughly. I informed them of a vibration coming from the front of my vehicle that started after the mpi indecent. I was told after the pre-inspection was done, everything looked fine. Returned a week or two later to get the other work done, and hopefully nail down the vibrations. Was told that everything looked fine again. Picked up my car and drove it home, vibration still there. Called them up to let them know, and i was told I would need to PAY on an mpi transaction to have a more thorough inspection done, if the issue was found to be due to the accident in question, repairs covered, if not I would need to pay out of pocket. WHY THE HELL COULDNT YOU FIGURE OUT THE ISSUE THE FIRST TWO TIMES YOU HAD POSSESSION OF MY VEHICLE????? THIS IS WHY I BROUGHT IT TO YOU!?!?!?!? Will never return there. I assumed they were nissan mechanics when I booked this appointment, because they are called Vickar Nissan, but...these mechanics work on all makes, and DO NOT specialize in Nissans. GARBAGE! I don't need a cavalier mechanic analyzing my sports car.

My family and friends usually give me grief for taking my vehicle to the dealership for service. They always try to warn me “You’re going to get ripped off. You should go to a mechanic.” I reply, Nissan keeps my maintenance records on file and follows up with me when I’m due for service. It’s one less thing I need to worry about in my busy life. Besides I drive a Versa so I’m not going to see a Honda or Chrysler specialist, I want the Nissan experts! Well last year my loyalty came through for me. My vehicle was due for maintenance in March but due to the pandemic I put it off until I felt safe to bring my car in. Normally, I book service appointments on the weekend due to my work schedule but when I called Linda, my service advisor she told me that I needed a maintenance package as per my service guide and it could only be done by mechanics who work on the weekdays. That’s when I met the Assistant Service Manager, Mark M. I told him I had another concern that my A/C stopped working awhile ago but no one ever figured out the issue. He listened attentively and then investigated the problem. He came back with a diagnosis of good news: It was an easy fix, just a couple of loose wires, and bad news: My warranty just expired back in March and I’d need new parts to fix the A/C. Then he did something amazing, he spoke to his Head office and they agreed to cover the costs and I just had to pay the labour. I was floored and I thanked him. My vehicle was just over 3 years old at the time and I wasn't expecting any issues or repair bills. He replied in earnest “If it happened to me I’d be upset”. From my personal experience at Nissan, I can tell you that the Assistant Service Manager is a solid guy you can trust. Afterwards I tried going back to weekend service appointments and did not get the same level of service. Mark explained that he worked Saturdays for years before he earned the weekday shift with weekends off. I learned my lesson, the pros with experience work Monday to Friday. So I recommend you book your service during the weekdays even if you have to use up some vacation time from work because it's worth it. Those guys make sure your problem is resolved and you walk away with a smile on your face because bottom line is the staff care about you as a customer and go the extra mile to earn your loyalty and trust. I love to share this story because it has a happy ending. Nissan values me as a client and I am grateful that even big corporations can be dependable and trustworthy. It’s a concrete jungle out there and everyone needs peace of mind and a well maintained vehicle to get you where you need to go. Thank you Nissan and staff!

UPDATE: I just heard that they ultimately ended up taking care of their mistake and owning up to it, after it had been brought to their attention and ignored NUMEROUS times. I've added a star because it was resolved, but the overall experience is still very disappointing. You know all of those stereotypes about used car dealers being sneaky, dishonest, very comfortable lying? Let's just say that certain employees at Vickar Nissan are not doing their industry any favors in those regards. I won't name names, they know who they are, they're in a position where they're practically hired to be the "bad cop", so that the upper management can come in when needed and be the "good cops" to the customers who haven't given up by then, according to somebody I spoke with candidly whose family has owned a Nissan dealership for decades in the States. I really wanted to update this to 3, 4, or even 5 stars but they made that impossible, even when they were fixing the problem, they did it very poorly. Pushy, condescending, bad vibes. It took one of their employees admitting that they had sold the car in a "dangerous" configuration to get any traction at all. I'm concerned and pretty sure that without them making that misstep, and without leaving a negative review, this never would have been fixed. While it was good of him to finally be the ONE person to follow-up, this man still blatantly lied about conversations that took place between himself and the customer in order to try to shift the blame, even after point-blank admitting that it was Vickar's fault in the first place. Very odd way of doing business, very poor communication skills. Had he been honest from the get-go, this would be 3 stars. Had Vickar Nissan fixed their initial error the first time it was brought to their attention, this would be a 5 star review because mistakes happen. Credible people own up to their mistakes and fix them. In this case, it was VERY difficult to get this resolved, and they resolved it by doing the absolute bare minimum that should have been done in the first place. It took MONTHS, numerous visits, phone calls, emails, AND a bad review, AND their own employee candidly admitting they screwed up. How are they going to completely ignore an issue for months, but then call it "very dangerous"? Don't feel safe shopping here. You aren't, by their own admission. They respond to all of these reviews encouraging people to get in touch with them which makes it look like they're eager to resolve these issues. In my experience, they are not eager to resolve these issues at all, after numerous "We'll get back to you..." 's, ignored emails, and so on. ==== Original review: Buyer beware, they seem very sneaky here. They sold my friend a car with the wrong tires and kept pretending like they were going to fix their error but never followed up. When she took the car in for repairs to damage that may have been caused by Vickar selling the car with the wrong tires, someone working at Vickar told her it was "DANGEROUS" to be driving on those tires, unaware that it was Vickar who sold her a car with those dangerous tires in the first place. They didn't act like it was a big deal when this error was originally brought to their attention multiple times, but when they saw an opportunity to sell her the set of tires they were supposed to include in the first place, suddenly it's "DANGEROUS". So, they're selling cars that are, in their own words, "DANGEROUS" to drive. Three separate occasions people there have said they were "going to check with the service department" and just never got back to her. If you don't want to be sold a car that's "DANGEROUS" (their words) to drive, maybe look somewhere else. If you know a lot about cars, you might be okay - but otherwise, I wouldn't trust this dealership at all. VICKAR - Do the right thing and I'll be more than happy to update this review to tell everyone that you finally fixed your mistake and were fair to your customers.

I took my car in for a safety, and after waiting for an hour and a half the mechanic told me they decided not to conduct the safety. He told me he did a “visual inspection”, and that my car wouldn’t pass based on that alone. While I didn’t have to pay for that “visual inspection”, I did waste my afternoon waiting for it. On top of that, the items he said would have failed the safety, were completely within the safety standards for Manitoba. They said my windshield wasn’t the proper grade, but as it turns out, the mechanic must not have seen the factory windshield sticker that clearly states that it is AS-1 grade, exactly what it needs to be. They also said my tail lights wouldn’t pass. But again, the mechanic didn’t do a very thorough inspection, because if he opened the back hatch and actually read the markings on the tail lights, he would have seen that they were clearly up to spec. So the next day I called and talked to someone in their service department and told them about this. They didn’t seem to care what so ever, and all they said was “well, it should have passed.” All in all, I’m disappointed with the service I received. I had booked an appointment for a safety, which they never completed, and I was given mis-information about my vehicle. I would advise you to stay away from Vickar Nissan if you need a vehicle safetied. 0/5

They gave my keys back and said the problem was still there, they didn't know what it was and couldn't fix it, but the normal shop rate applied and they worked on it all day - no help or discount considering they did nothing for me. Multiple bad experiences during my time owning a Nissan. I would not recommend buying a Nissan (Titan), and I certainly wouldn't get my vehicle serviced here. Better customer service at the McPhillips location, but still very expensive service.

I bought a Nissan Juke at Vickar on Regent three years ago. The guys in the express service line are excellent. However the way the *line up* is managed is far from stellar, in fact I would have to say that its down right terrible. My latest experience was waiting in a line up for 4 hours to get my winter tires put on. Now I realize its the time of year that everyone wants this done. I called to discuss my concerns with the Service Manager who told me he was doing his best( he brought in two extra people for the express service this day). I suggested someone may want to walk down the line and tell people how long their wait would be or perhaps take down license plate numbers and tell people to come back at certain times. His reply was that it s a *no appointment necessary* for express and what would I do with the people that show up in line after this. I suggested giving a time to come back as well. I also told him there is also a sign in the waiting room that says fast, convenient service guaranteed, he did not reply to this comment. I also noted I live out of town and its not like I can just go home and come back in an hour or two. I had a friend with me who was considering buying a vehicle from Vickar on Regent but after my experience she said she would never buy from them based on the service line. I normally get a call from the service department after I have brought my car in for service, and surprise no call this week. I wonder why??

They give you an already overly priced quote, only to tack on a few extra hours spent on a rusted bolt or whatever (fyi my car ain't a rust bucket, it's almost like new).... Can't say it was a good experience. Person who took the call did not document the issues correctly. Left out pertinent information about the vehicle and issues and also put down the wrong symptoms. Wasn't charged anything as nothing ended up being done. Staff need better training on the phones and documenting customer issues properly. Edit: So I get a response from Vickar Nissan it reads as follows.: "Response from the owner 14 minutes ago Hi Richard, thank you for the 1-star rating! Is there anything we can do to earn 5 stars from you?" If they had taken the time to read my review they could clearly see what I had written to make the experience better. Instead it makes me wonder if all the staff working there have issues reading and understanding what is going on. On top of that the response has no number to call or email address to respond to. How can they run a business this way. Only brought the car back to them as that is where we bought it from. As they are not close or convenient for us to go to for work on the car may take it to the one that is closer to us instead. If it wasn't for warranty purposes that we brought it there for I don't think I can recommend anyone else to go there at this time.

I brought a Nissan Sentra 2017 from this Dealership in November. And you know what it did not start since Jan 4 2018. I bring it back to the service three times and all they did is keep changing the battery and making it seems that it is my fault that I don't drive it that much when I go to work 5 days . Their service department is awful. until now my car is not working, but I have to bring it to a different dealer to fix it and give me a rental car. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND at all this dealership and I regret purchasing a vehicle in here, my old used car is way better than the new car that I brought to them they sold me a lemon car. RUST I bought a new 2017 Nissan Maxima on Aug 22, 2017. It had rust develop in the rear trunk drain by the end of November 2017. The car was only two half months old with 4000 km on it. Vickar Nissan said it was rail dust from transport and used a clay bar and touch up paint to repair it on Dec 22, 2017. Please see repair work order under photo tab. Vickar Nissan’s service manager stated it would not return. I had two notable Autobody shops assess the rust prior to returning to the dealership with my rust issue. They both advised me to get rid of the car ASAP as rust cannot be eradicated for good only slowed ! The rust returned the end of February 2018! In March/ April 2018 rust developed on both the left and right side of the rear windshield in the very narrow drain beside windshield! Now I told Vickar Nissan I wanted a new car. Every Autobody shop that assessed my rust issue stated they would not paint it because the rust would return and maybe even worse including Vickar Ford Autobody repair shop! The manager there would not give me any warranty against returning rust! I offered $1000 above Nissan Canada’s warranty payment if I could get some warranty! The manager stated he could not give me a warranty! Initially Nissan Canada stated I had to deal with Vickar Nissan yet Vickar Nissan stated I had to deal with Nissan Canada to return my rusting Maxima. While customers think the Nissan Rust Warranty is there to protect the customer it is also there to protect Nissan the manufacturer as well! They use the Nissan Rust Warranty to avoid big financial losses if they had to take vehicles back! Nissan refused to take the vehicle back and replace it without me paying $9855 plus taxes and losing my $3000 extended warranty and the $1200 in aftermarket add ons for a replacement vehicle one year later. This was for a 2018 model year because there was no 2017 available yet there was one in Quebec only a few weeks earlier per Vickar Nissan manager. Nissan Canada refuses to accept any manufacturing responsibility for the development of premature rust and claim it can only be from environmental factors. Vickar Nissan in December 2017 told me it was surface rust from rail dust deposited during transport by train. If this was indeed the reason why does the customer pay freight and PDI (pre-delivery inspection) fees? PDI should include removing any rail dust from vehicle prior to delivery of the vehicle! I thought PDI was done to protect the customer and Nissan Canada from any potential problems prior to customer taking delivery of their new vehicle! This was not done here if rail dust is a common issue as I was told! I have personally seen other Maximas with this same rust issue less than a year old at the time and much worse than mine!! All Autobody shops state repairing rusted areas is never the same as factory paint unless rusted areas are cut out and replaced with new metal. If metal is not replaced, as the case with my 2017 Maxima, rust will return and often worse than it originally presents! I have yet to find an Autobody shop that will give me any limited warranty against returning rust; yet, Nissan Canada as recently as March 5, 2019, per a Senior Customer Care Specialist, thinks it is fair and appropriate as it fulfills its rust warranty. If you were a Nissan customer would you think it is fair? Apart from the rust I love my 2017 Nissan Maxima but I am extremely disappointed in my purchase! Buyer beware -who knew you could buy a new vehicle from Nissan and have it start rusting in less than three months -trust me - you can- I did! Nissan will honour their rust warranty but I will still have rust issues when my 3 year 60000km warranty expires and Nissan Canada will have saved themselves $12,855 the amount they were charging me for a replacement vehicle! This does not include $1200 after market add ons! Maybe my expectations for Nissan’s quality was too high? Now new rust be developing on exterior trunk May 31, 2019. The Maxima is nit two years old yet!

Myself and a family member purchased two cars on the same day at Vickar, during our negotiations we were promised a number of free oil changes (4 oil changes). I went in to do an oil change and was told i don't have any free oil changes left, i only got one done because vehicle was not used very often because of covid. When i tried to redeem my oil change i was told it expired. The sales manager said that I would of been told that there was an expiry on the free oil changes and that it would of been noted in the contract, unfortunately i did not receive any documentation about the oil changes and was not told at all about the expiry date. I also checked with my family member that was there during the purchase and they also said there was no mention of an expiry. So be careful with this dealership and make sure everything is in writing if they offer you any extra. I will definitely not recommend Vickar Nissan to any of my family or friends

And our sales rep and financier were awesome, and not super aggressive when we didn't want something. Let us know about the products, why we might want them and why we maybe should get them, but were respectful when we made the decision not to take something. Nothing discourages me from buying faster than overly pushy salespeople. Every time we went in someone asked if we needed help within a few minutes, but we weren't "swarmed". Really good buying experience. Hopefully the maintenance experience is just as good!

Poor customer service and generally inept. Brought my vehicle in to transfer an ASP warranty on a Saturday. As it needed an oil change I had it done there. They also provided a multi - point inspection (condition of warranty). Both were indicated to me by the service department that this is all I needed to do. Came back on Monday with all the paper work to transfer and multiple salespeople seem confused as to what is required. They take a photocopy of the ASP signed warranty booklet, but not of my registration, even after I asked them twice if they needed it. Receive a call a day later indicating that I need to provide a copy of my registration and that they need to inspect the vehicle, again (clearly the first inspection didn't cost enough). Fed up with two days of driving across town to a dealership that has proven they don't know their own products and don't respect a customer's time. Would not recommend going here if you want good customer service.

We went to Auto Gallery and bought a great vehicle and had awesome service!

Worst dealership N/A. Had so much trouble with vickar Nissan they're unorganized, tell you false things and go out of their way so they don't have to pay. I bought a 2015 Nissan rogue from them which ended up having malfunctions and needed to be towed to Winnipeg from Dryden. (Before I signed the papers I asked them, I live 400km away from the nearest Nissan dealership would I be covered to get towed to the nearest nissan dealership and the lady said yes and that she's seen people get towed from even further. So I went ahead and signed the papers. Just over 1 month in and I get my first problem which I didn't realize it was a problem untill the 3rd month of owning my vehicle the same thing happened but this time the check engine light came on and I wasn't able to drive it. - - - December 24th 2015 this is where all the issues start--- I wasn't able to get a hold of road side service at 5:50am so I got my car towed 30km which was 218$. so I called Nissan Canada and told them the problem and they said they only cover up to 100km to the nearest dealership. Which I was told differently before I signed the papers. So then i called vickar Nissan and asked someone how far does the towing cover and he said it's to the nearest Nissan dealership and he went on saying how he's seen people getting towed from fort Frances and kenora at no charge. SO there I was again being told something that wasn't true. Anyways I was being sent back and forth between road side serve and vickar Nissan to see who would cover the expenses. It didn't go anywhere. So I got a CAA membership for 186$ because there's no way I'm going to pay 4$per km to get towed to vickar it's 400km away. I had to rent a car for 2 weeks to be able to get to work. Jan 10th I was able to get a couple of days off of work got my car out of the garage drove it for about 100km before the same thing happened so I called CAA and It got towed to vickar Nissan with a CAA membership which would have costed me 700$ if I didn't have a Membership but I did so it was covered. So now they won't reimburse any expense I paid which was close to 1000$. Today Jan 11th I was told my car is done and I signed the paper to get my car and got myself a copy of the invoice. I was about to leave and warming up my rogue when I was told by the guy that my car is not done yet and it'll be done tomorrow. I was pissed because again they tell me something that's not true. Turns out my check engine light was on because Snow got into the air filter and broke the sensor. The sales person was telling me it was a fluke that it happened. How can that be a fluke when it happened 3 times with in 3 months? Like what am I supposed to do not drive my rogue in winter? Or when my warranty finishes I'd have to pay out of my own pocket to fix the sensor. I was unlucky and bought a lemon from them which ok It might happen ever so many rogues but them not making up to it and taking it is upsetting. They all said they've never seen this happen before which is proof that it was an unlucky lemon. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. If they tell you yea you're covered and give examples of other people then just walk away, do more research or write down what they say and have them sign it at the end. This is unacceptable of a dealership. Really if I'm spending 37k on something I expect it to be in working condition. They said they can buy it back for 27k. So I bought a lemon from them and I still have 33.7k left to pay on my lemon and you're going to buy back the lemon and I won't have a car but I'll still have 6700$ to pay on the car??? Are you serious. BTW all they did was change the sensor and filter it still won't stop the snow from going into the air filter.

I purchased a used vehicle from Vickar Nissan in Winnipeg in December of last year. It needed some work done, such as some paint bubbling, due to being done poorly. I then received my vehicle, the next day the transmission failed, I had purchased warranty on the vehicle luckily. Nissan offered to fix it, they gave me a loaner car, which they needed back the next day, then proceeded by giving me another car that then stalled and died on my road. Gave me another vehicle, it was a demo, they also needed it back shortly after giving it to me, then finally they gave me a car until my car was fixed, in FEBRUARY...I was very happy to finally have my car back mid February. The following few months have passed and I start to notice the vehicle is peeling all around, I contacted Vickar Nissan Winnipeg multiple times to speak to someone who could help me, no one ever answered me. My dealer was a good acquaintance, but due to covid he isn't there right now. I went in for an oil change and tried to bring up the problem, they told me they would reach out to me, then a few months passed, nothing. I then went in for my next oil change, I asked to talk to the manager, the peeling has gotten a lot worse on my vehicle. He told me that the service guys would look at it. The manager then came up to me and told me that the car was wrapped by the previous owner, which is not true. I have worked on cars my whole life and I can clearly tell the difference between a clear coat and wrap. He lied to my face and told me he would deal with it and call me the next day. I again waited 3 weeks, I reached out to him, the apologized for the wait, told me he would deal with it, then I waited another few weeks, until I reached out to him again, he then told me that because its a used vehicle he cant help me...which is interesting, dealerships make most of their money through trade ins, selling used vehicles, you'd think they would treat them like new, want their customers to be happy. I told him that It is unacceptable, I've only had the car for a few months and have encountered numerous problems already. The manager told me he would talk to his boss. He has still not reached out to me, it's been weeks, I have even sent an email to the specific dealership in hope that they would call me and talk to me, but it was just a waste of my time. I do not like being lied to, being promised that I will have my car looked after, then neglected as a customer. I hate to have to complain, but this cannot go unnoticed, I know I'm not the only one who got scammed by the dealership. Do not buy a vehicle from them.

Don’t buy any brand new platinum murano from this dealer! The audio system and the gps conflict and they stop working all of the sudden when they are both used at the same time! You take the car to this dealer where you originally bought it on Jan 2nd, they keep it up to now Jan 25th, only to figure out how to fix a simple audio system! Not responsive! Too irresponsible! It seems like they want to make you tired to forget about the problem! Oh and I forgot to mention that your safety seems not to matter for them as with the warranty package you buy from them they give you a simple car that I even don’t know the name for god’s sake, which doesn’t have ant winter tire! And last but not the least you pay a platinum full package car and they keep your car 23 days now to solve an audio problem! Won’t recommend this dealer to anyone!

I have waited some time to write this review. approximately 18 months ago a Nissan Leaf I had purchased second hand died suddenly while I was driving. To make a long story short vickar nissan, in conjunction with Nissan Canada, did not diagnose the problem properly. After spending $7000 on repairs I was informed that the electric motor was damaged also and a replacement motor would be $8000. I was specifically told the motor was fine when repairs started. Vickar Nissan was helpful in that they allowed me to purchase use parts and have them installed but as you can see the repair costs of a Nissan Leaf are out of this world. Nissan Canada is the most diabolical organization I have ever had to deal with so I can not fault Vickar Nissan for that but based on my experience I feel like anyone considering purchasing a Nissan Leaf should be very wary. I'm sure Vickar Nissan will post a rebuttal claiming that certain factors were out of their control, but adding insult to injury they charged me over $1000 to mis-diagnose the problems with the car.

Took our Murano for an "Express Oil Change", let me tell you there is NOTHING express about this. This place is a gongshow. Very unprofessional staff. Last oil change they did not properly affix the plastic cover under the SUV so it let go, they 100% denied it was their fault and would not fix it. Wanted to sell me a new one. I've had many different vehicles and brands, and Nissan has been the absolute worst to deal with. I'll never buy another just because of their service and will be selling this one. IMO, find somewhere else to take your vehicle!!

My wife bought a car from Vickar Nissian. Never take your car here for service! I only rated it one star because zero stars is not an option. We took our car there for an oil change, but we didnt realise it was just after our warrenty expired.. They said we needed 3,000$ in repairs. Shocks, ball joints, control arms, and a bunch of other stuff. I took the car back, and took it to my mechanic. I brought him the service quote from Nissian and he found nothing wrong. He even had his buddy bouble check. Nothing. After this incident i was telling this story and i found other people with similar stories. One family friend even told me about how they didnt put oil in her car after an oil change. After her car seized they denied everything and wouldnt help her. Until her lawyer got involved. Then they were sorry and fixed everything. Go somewhere else for service.

Horrible wait time! I went in today for my regular maintenance. It was my first time visiting the dealership since I can’t get a schedule with the dealership that I normally deal with. I understand that I need to be early specially on the weekend and I really don’t mind waiting. I came in 10 minutes before my scheduled time and to my surprise 5 cars are already in front of me. So I told myself ok, this should be fine. The door didn’t open until after 8:35am and I thought it will be smooth sailing after it opens but I still waited outside for 2 freaking hours!!! What is the whole point of booking an appointment then? You guys should definitely change the name “express” that is false marketing! Employees seems to be nice but wait time is really crazy! I have been in other Nissan dealership and when you are booked at a specific time, you will be served at the scheduled time. My first and last! I am never coming back on this dealership!

Contacted the dealership via internet shortly before nine am on Friday to set up an appointment to see a Nissan Pathfinder that we had seen on the web site. We were contacted by phone within minutes by Vishal Kundra and set up a viewing time of 10:00am. When we got to the dealership he was waiting for us with the car and after a quick familiarization of the vehicle we went for a test drive with Vishal who was very helpful as well as being extremely personable. Back at the dealership it was the standard back and forth a couple of times, all the time pleasant, and a deal was reached so we left the dealership. We arranged to to exchange vehicles on Monday which we did and drove the new Pathfinder home. An extremely satisfying transaction with all the staff involved.

The agreement to purchase a new vehicle with the salesman was unable to be fulfilled by financing. My lease returned vehicle’s cosmetic damage was to be “absorbed” if I bought the newer version at an agreed upon price. Financing told me that Nissan could not finance the negative equity and asked for an additional $3000. The result, I returned home with my leased vehicle and will just buy it out. I can fix the dents and scuff mark.

I had done my research on a 2016 Murano so I went to Vickar Nissan ready to deal. I dealt with Fawaz Azhar. He is by far the best and funniest salesperson I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He makes you want to buy a car from him! Fawaz was $500 above the price I was willing to pay so he went to talk to his manager about the price I was willing to pay. The general manager, Nick Guffei, came back to talk to me. He wasn't willing to go $500 lower, but he proceeded to talk to me about all the awesomeness of Vickar Nissan and all that Vickar could do for me after I bought from them. I let him talk and then proceeded to tell him that I don't live anywhere near Winnipeg so none of that mattered to me. First rule Nick, know your customer! Since Nick looked like an idiot, he just kind of slinked away! Since I liked Fawaz so much I offered to split the difference in price. He took it back to Nick and the answer was still no. So I thanked Fawaz for his time and left. We proceeded to go to Birchwood Nissan and they were quite happy to give me my asking price on the exact same Murano. Nick, you blew that sale!

Can’t be trusted. I know cars and usually do my own maintenance. I had to get an alignment and don’t have the equipment so had to take my car in. They took my car in and after told me they were unable to perform the alignment because I would need to do over $1200 in parts and labour before they could finish the alignment. I took the car home, got under the car and found these parts all to be perfectly fine. I called them to give them a chance to explain before writing this and the receptionist said someone would call me back. 2 weeks and still haven’t got my call back. Nothing worse than a repair shop that can’t be trusted! Stay away.
