Not very good access to and from this location and the parking lot is nonexistent. My experience with this location was less than stellar. My car was in the shop at 7 a.m. and was diagnosed by 12 noon. I was told that the car would be ready by 4:30. The car was not ready by 4:30 and a rental car and we arranged. Although the rental was free to me, dealing with the rental company was cumbersome. when my car was ready I had to return the rental car to the rental agency and was told that the rental agency would give me a ride to the dealership. Rental agency didn't have anybody available to drop me off right away and told me you would have to wait 10 to 20 minutes. So I walk to the dealership. When I got to the dealership they told me that if I had called they would have picked me up. It would have been nice to know that before I walked.

I've never been here but they are our supplier for parts relating to larger GM vehicles, ie Top kick trucks etc. They have access to the parts listing for these types of vehicles where local GM dealers do not.

Went into the Regent shop with no appointment and was quickly acknowledge by Pat who is a mechanic and he gave me the best service yet. Had it fixed and better than before . After having a super stressful experience last year with my 2017 Terrain at the dealership I purchased from. The problem sprung up again when we had that cold snap. I went to Vickar chev because it is closer to my house. I walked in with a ton of anxiety about the problem and Michenda was amazing. Easily the best experience I have ever had at a service center. She went over and above my expectations. Made sure I was in a solid rental vehicle (I have a young baby so quality of vehicle needed to be the same or better). I am so impressed and the problem was fixed in a timely fashion and she kept in contact even though they were super busy. Those calls letting me know it hadn't been dealt with yet but that she would keep me in the loop were very appreciated. When I decide to trade in my vehicle for a bigger SUV, you can bet Vickar Chev will get my business :)

I bought a used car here about 2 years ago. The sticker price was $6200 because of the low mileage. Yet all the fees they tacked on brought the car up to well over $11,000. I am STILL making monthly payments of $230 and the car is just a basic 4 door Aveo. Nothing special I can be proud of. I know people who are making the same monthly payments on brand new sports cars that are under warranty. I feel SO ripped off. All the repairs I've needed over the last 2 years have cost me $3000. I've spent $14,000 for this used car, not to mention all the interest I've paid. They don't even offer any discount for me to get the work it needs done in shop!! So I take it to a small mechanic shop. Their sticker prices are so bogus. Tax shouldn't have been more than $200... yet they somehow tacked on $5000 in taxes and fees. On a USED car. Oh and I tried getting them to bring the price of the car down to $4500 which I thought was more than fair, but they wouldn't budge. And yes they did say they didn't care if I walked out or not. I had driven all the way from St. James in hopes for a good deal because my family have been Vickar customers for 20 years. But nope! They could care less. It's all about their greedy selves while screwing over customers. If you're going to buy used, GET A USED CAR PRIVATELY. I have been in 2 years of payment hell... still have $4500 left to pay off yet and my car is currently having the catylic converter replaced, a $2100 job, and just got new ignition coil and throttle pressure sensor 8 months ago, a $600 job. Worst experience in buying a used car from a dealership.

Please ignore the first review as I pressed it in error & I didn’t know how to undo it. Now, Clyde your sales person was very friendly & professional. My wife & I were really grateful that as we did not have time, Clyde brought the car to our house , gave us a test drive & then went through all details. And when we were not sure about the car, his experience played a big part in our decision making. Only disappointment is that we were promised the trailer hitch would be included with the package after discount only to be told that we had to pay at hand over. Thank you!

One of the worst service experiences I have ever had. There was zero value add by the salesperson and the finance manager. The only impact they had was potentially deterring me from buy the vehicle I was wanted to purchase. If the vehicle I bought was available at any other dealership, I would not have gone through with the purchase. Felt like a traditional "sleazy dealership experience". I can't say this is the culture across the entire dealership, but based on my experience with the two individuals I dealt with, I would avoid Vickar Community Chevrolet with a 100ft pole.

As a former Chrysler customer for many years we wanted a change so we just bought a 2019 Equinox LT and we are happy we did. Trevor Maraj the Sales Manager was the greatest and went on beyond the call of duty. He bent over backwards to make me happy. For example I left my house keys behind and he brought them to my house personally. He did many things for us which he didn't have to do. I'm 65 years old and hever in my 45 years of buying vehicles have I came across a manager like him. My wife and I met Mrs. Vickars the first day and she spent alot of time charming my wife. She is a impressive woman. Nigel our salesman was very professional and quite knowledgeable. He was a delight to deal with, Ryan the Tech Specialist was very good and knew his stuff when I had questions on how the infotainment system worked. Again back to Trevor Maraj. I still can't believe what a gentleman he was. I can go on about things he had done for us but believe me you want to deal with him for all your vehicle purchases. He spent time trying to find the best interest rate he could get for me. I was very happy with the end result. I really can't talk about service department as of yet but I will be posting something about the Service deptartment soon. A so far very happy customer. Wayne F. Robert P.S. Very disappointed with my service today. When I called to make an appointment for an oil change, I mentioned that I had bought a Groupon and was using it. I asked if they needed anything specific in regards to the Groupon. And they said that all I have to do is bring the printout of the Groupon. And I have used Groupon many times in the past at other dealerships so I didn't expect it to be any different. The Express service personnel were wonderful and the free shuttle was great (driver was the nicest!) However, once it became time for me to pay the taxes which I knew aren't included on Groupon, the lady at the desk told me I need to pull up my Groupon app (which I don't have) and they have to go into my Groupon account to make sure it says that it was used. I mentioned that I dont have the app and I just did the Groupon at work on my computer. They said I have to download the app and get into Groupon account or they won't accept it, when I had already paid $100 for the service. So unable to get into my work email from my personal phone, I couldn't find the Groupon that I had already printed out and given to her. She was extremely rude and said that she couldn't accept it and that it was too bad. I wasn't going to pay another $120 after I got their Groupon specifically for this occasion and it was set to expire before I would even need an oil change again. After I was able to get access to my work email, I found the Groupon confirmation email that I had already printed and given to her. I showed her the redeem coupon button that she demanded she needed and she said she has never seen that before and that it was the wrong thing. Then she argued with me that it was already used and accused me of trying to use it twice. While she tried walking away from me, I read her what my phone said it read "this Groupon can only be used once, so make sure you are ready to use it". Still arguing that I was trying to use it a second time, i read it again and again until she finally understood. She gave me an extremely rude expression and clicked the button on my phone and it changed to redeemed. They she got visibly angrier when she realized she was wrong and instead of apologizing, she continued to be rude and make faces until I paid and left. I didn't get her name as I should have, but she was the larger lady at the cashier desk right beside the shuttle desk. Absolutely unacceptable in the customer service industry. I will not be back as long as Vickar continues to hire such disrespectful employees to represent their company.

2nd Visit - Servicing 2021 Vehicle. Purchased a 2021 vehicle from Vickar. Hard starts in cold weather lead us to make arrangements for service to check. We drove 35 mins to the dealership to get it serviced. Not only did they not wash our vehicle prior to returning, they basically told us to go home and recharge the battery ourselves. Shouldn't you have done that while it was in getting checked? We are early into 2021. If the brand new 2021 vehicle is already having problems and the customer service continues to be atrocious, what can we expect for the remainder of our warranty? ZERO customer service. My advice...lots of Chevy dealerships around, choose a different one. If there was an option to leave negative stars, I would have. 1st Visit - Picking up 2021 Vehicle. Cramped sales offices and sales team members crowding did not leave me feeling safe. While my spouse and I were in a sales office to pick up his new vehicle, another sales member entered the office, grabbed my spouse's phone from his hands and started to navigate. While I appreciate wanting to get everything finalized, we are in a pandemic with our highest record numbers and deaths. Touching other people's cell phones is not appropriate, nor was bending over me to grab it. Very unsettling feeling. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Massive room for improvements here. Note of interest, I also recently purchased a vehicle from another dealership, where safe distancing was practiced and all efforts to ensure cleanliness and safe practices was instilled. I left feeling safe from that dealership so it is not a difficult task to achieve for all dealerships across the board.

I had an appointment at 1:30, showed up early and said I would wait for my car. At 2:30 nobody had said anything to me but I noticed my car wasn't in the service bay. Went to look and it was still in the parking lot. I went to ask and apparently they hadn't gotten to it yet and nobody had let me know. So I took my keys and left. They asked if I wanted to reschedule. Why would I? A waste of an afternoon.

Such a bad experience with Vickar. I bought a car on Nov. 27th and now have 2 payments coming out of my account; 1 for the car I got and the other for the one I traded in which I don't have in my possession anymore and is on their lot. Brought it to their attention a week in and it's been nothing but going back and forth about it when the finance department should have handled it once the papers were signed.

Came in for an express oil change and the manager immediately detected something else wrong as I drove in by a noise the engine made. Something that was probably missed at a recent tune up elsewhere. Very grateful as I was visiting and my home is 2 provinces away and this might not have been good. Everything was done in expert time and under warranty. Had to wait overnight but was given a lovely ride with courtesy drivers to and fro between where I am staying and dealership. Extremely pleased with knowledge and service. The experience was terrible. I spoke to a sales rep on the internet chatting box who apparently claimed himself a sales and finance manager. He gave me an estimate over the phone about trading my car in for a brand new chevy truck. Then when I got their I had to encounter a whole different environment. He was not a finance or sales manager at all, he was just a sales guy who was taking my call to inquiry. Then I had to explain everything over again with this finance manager who was very transparent but did not want to collaborate with the sales guys quote. Then he came up with a whole different ball game and price was too high. We ended up leaving with no deal which was very unusual situation for a car dealer as they just failed to rip a customer off.

I bought my current vehicle at this dealership. They do a great job of servicing it. At my last appointment, I was supposed to bring my car in the morning but I forgot about the appointment. When I called to reschedule they fit me in during the afternoon the same day. The service team works together to bring me the best service. When I went to pick up my car, I was asking about a touch up paint kit. Faith took me to the parts desk where they would have something like that. Just as we arrived at the parts desk, the person working at the desk was just about to go warm up something to eat. Faith offered to go warm up his meal while he looked after me. Outstanding.

We sent our car to Vickar after it was broken into and the driver's side door lock and steering column were damaged. They had our car for more than 5 weeks, with no end in sight. We were about to move out of the province, and gave them a deadline to complete the car, which they didn't meet. We then had to beg them and call MPI to speak to them to get our car back in time for our cross-country move. At the last minute, they claimed our battery wouldn't work and they had to replace it, which they did with their most expensive model without asking. When we finally got our car back, the driver's side lock would only disengage with the key in it and the driver's side window has a finger-sized whole in the top when you close it (you have to manually push it into place to protect it from the rain/break-ins). They refused to acknowledge the problems, and because we had to move, we couldn't take it back for them to fix it. They did a terrible job, and had terrible customer service. There was no reason whatsoever for them to have had our car for that long. Please DO NOT bring your car here!

I took my vehicle in last week to get my power steering looked at. I found out the power steering line needed to be replaced which I was fine to do as my vehicle was getting stiff and making groaning noises while vibrating when making turns. $500.00+ later it was fixed and was told by the rep that everything was good to go there won't be further issues! A day later I noticed my power steering was still stiff and took it into a local shop highly recommended from friends and family. Once checked over I found out my power steering fluids happened to be extremely low as well the work area was never cleaned (picture attached) it was a mess! On April 15, 2019 I contacted Vickar's customer service to explain my situation, I found it unprofessional that my truck wasn't cleaned in the area it was worked on and fluids that had leaked out just stayed there plus my power steering fluids remained low, wasn't even explained this when I took it in. I was told that within an hour someone, a rep or manger would contact me, this never happened and it's now April 19th, 2019. I will not recommend this place to get your vehicle service at all, I have informed my friends and family who have dealt with this dealership about my situation and they no longer feel interested to go here. I'm in awe that I was promised someone would reach out to me, they even taken my information and no call back, my vehicle was not cleaned from the fluids that leaked out and my fluid wasn't even filled or even mentioned to me how how low it was. I will no longer attend this dealership and will mention my experience to my friends and family. Update: I couldn't figure out how to reply to the reply but no there isn't anything that can be done from going to 1 star to 5 star. I tried making contact about my concerns I was told there would be a follow up by two people including a manager and I never got a response and it's now May 30. I still stand by and I have mentioned it to my friends and family about my experience with Vickar's shop team as well with Customer Service. It's very disappointing to be a customer and being told there will be a follow up and it never happens and I do understand mistakes can be made, but still....

We purchased a GMC Acadia from Vickar Community Chevrolet yesterday. The staff were very friendly. Jamie in sales was great, Ryan in Technology was also very friendly and helpful. Rocco got back to us very quickly when we inquired online about a vehicle and he was very friendly, personable, competent and confident that he could help us get into the car we wanted. We thought we had struck up a great relationship. The reason I've rated the company one star, is because as we were negotiating our deal, Rocco said he couldn't meet us at the price we offered, and offered instead to throw in an extended warranty package. We said that we would really appreciate the package, but as we have purchased over $130,000.00 in vehicles there in the past two years and planned to buy more in the future as a growing company, he could still throw that in for the price we'd discussed (which was very close to the listed price). He said he could do that if we put $2,500.00 down. We agreed, he got it approved, and drew up the paperwork. Then we were signing the contracts, and he asked me to check yes and no under certain fields. When we came to "Tire Protection Plan", which was part of the extended warranty package he'd mentioned earlier, he told me to check "no". I reminded him that we had agreed that they would throw that in as part of the extended warranty. He tried to argue no, but my husband and I were firm that he had said it. He finally agreed and told me to check "yes". Later, we saw that he charged us over $5,000.00 under "Extended Warranty". I wish I'd seen it sooner - and it's partially my fault for not reading closely enough. Wasn't prepared for that kind of dishonesty. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from Rocco at Vickar Community Chevrolet. Or if you do, make sure you read your contracts very closely every step of the way.

I asked my wife to go in to buy a fuel filter for my 3500 diesel. The "gentleman" at the parts counter gave her a hard time, and wasn't very friendly. He said he needed the vin and seemed frustrated that we weren't "in the system". After putting up with his rudeness, my wife finally got the filter I needed. Once I found out what she paid for it, I asked her to take it back. It was over $100. I bought it on Amazon for $55 with free delivery, 1 day shipping! She took the filter back today, and he looked at her and told her someone else would deal with her. I will not deal with this dealer ever again. Another unsatisfactory visit to Vickars for a simple oil change. My husband took my car in for an oil change in the fall, at that time he was told that there was a power steering leak and that would make the appointment a little longer. That was fine - but then 3 hours passed and no one had given him an update, upon finally getting someone to give him an answer he was frustrated and disappointed in the services that day. So he had posted a review. I got a call from a manager the next day, apologizing for the negative experience he had and promising 2 more free oil changes added to our account - I only had 1 left from time of purchase. and asked us to take down the review, which we did. Today my husband again takes my car in, the service was fast and efficient - but the person whom he was dealing with was very confusing as he stated we had 6 free oil changes. Then went to charge him upon checkout, when my husband reminded him that he had Just told him about the free oil changes he said "those expired in January" . So who would use 6 free oil changes between September and January???? How was that a proper way to ease our frustration in the fall if it wasn't even going to be honored?? And again he stated that my power steering was leaking, when my husband said that they had said this last time and that is why the fix had taken longer the service rep said "oh well i'm not sure then" and left it at that. SO! I guess I need to take my car elsewhere to check on my power steering??? was it even fixed the first time? and I obviously will not be going back to Vickars for my oil changes.

I brought up concerns with the coverup paint job prior and was told it would be taken care of. Once the deal was signed I was offered a container of paint and a paint brush. This is the second car I’ve purchased from this dealership and they don’t seem to care about the issue I was advised “since it’s a used car there’s nothing they can do” I now have to take my car to Boyd to have them fix this issue.

Bought a 2012 Volt late November. Nice car overall. Just drove for the first time 82KM on a single charge. Great car for the city. It is a bit hard on the battery when driving on the highway over 90KMh. I might get 50KM range. But those first 50KM are almost free. In Manitoba, it cost me about $0.70 to charge the battery from dead empty. So far, I've driven 12,000KM, with an average of 1.5L/100KM. Most of the fuel is used during the winter to keep the cabin & battery warm. In reality, that 1.5L/100KM is lower. When it switches to engine mode because the battery is depleted, it recharges the battery, and when the engine stops running, it still displays the KM use as engine, when it is electric. Manitoba really needs some incentives for people to buy this car. It is not a cheap car to buy! I like that the first maintenance is at 12,000KM, and it is only for a tire rotation.

One of the worst experiences ever. Bought a used car, didn’t even put 1000 km on it my a/c didn’t work, power steering went . And they told me to bad not their problem. When I brought it in to get a/c fixed all they did was take air filter out to make it blow colder but didn’t close it properly which gave it a loud whistling noise, I checked and they didn’t put air filter back or close case properly. Will never purchase or take a vehicle there again.

Buyers BEWARE of this place. I bought a brand new car at Vickar on Regent. You would expect a brand new car wouldn’t have problems, right? Wrong! I brought it back expecting it would be fixed. Wrong! Three service appointments later, still not fixed. At this point they gave up and now claimed it was “working as designed”. It clearly wasn’t. They cut me loose and directed me to their 1-800 number for “customer care”. What a joke. That group should be called “we don’t care”. Their strategy was to avoid answering calls and dragging things out so long that I would hopefully go away. That approach made me dig in even further. After months I finally got action, but only because a GM regional manager got involved. I was granted the privilege of another service appointment with them. This time they discovered a sensor – that they didn’t even know was there. It was faulty and replaced. Problem solved. In summary, the GM service department didn’t know their own product well enough to fix a problem on a first service appointment – causing me months of frustration and aggravation and trips back and forth to the dealership. After it was all said and done, I sent an email to GM Canada bringing my experience to their attention. I thought they might be interested in my customer experience. Wrong! I received a form letter response from some clerk somewhere. The response addressed absolutely nothing in my email. It was clear they didn't even read it. This is how GM treats a long time customer. For my next vehicle, I will certainly not be dealing with Vickar, nor GM altogether after this experience. The problem is that nobody cares once the car has been sold. Not the dealership, not the so-called “customer care” group, not GM Canada. Do yourself a favor... avoid these headaches and go elsewhere.

Drove the 30 minutes there waited ten minutes for someone to open the door and nothing I left disappointed. I emailed a service manager and didn't even receive an apology. THEN they want to charge me an extra $2.09 for "shop materials" on a $24 bill...This, AFTER they originally quoted me both on the phone and in person $24. TOTAL JOKE. Icing on the cake was that heavy set woman cashier with the glasses...Just about as rude as you can get. Won't EVER be back here for service again!! I've purchased two vehicles from here in the past 5 years...still willing to give that dept a chance for next time, but your service people need some more training in customer service and efficiency. Late last week my vehicle was leaking from the air conditioner motor. It was so hot out and I was going on holidays. I called my salesman jack Campbell and he was amazingly understanding to my problem. He went out of his way to bring me a vehicle and take mine into the shop at the dealership. Once they figured out the problem they had to wait for parts to come in. Again, jack was so accommodating and arranged for me to have a loaner while we waited for parts to come and my vehicle to be fixed. So I had traded my old vehicle in for a newer kia optima (used) only had 74000k when I bought it. Took it for a test drive and everything was fine. But then I took it home a few days later and come to find that the steering knuckle is loose as heck and I can feel it and hear it clearly when turning my wheel when I'm going slow. So I was told my car was certified so I brought it in for a diagnosis and they told me that I couldn't get it fixed under my certified warrenty and that if have to wait till my full warrenty kicks in to get it replaced. I find that rediculous seeing that the first night i took it home something was wrong and now they won't fix it?!! And want me to use my warrenty when they should be repairing it at no cost on the certified warrenty, they also said a loose steering knuckle won't affect any other components. But I know something else is broken because Im heating another knocking noise coming from the front end now. I'm not to pleased with my experience so far! And I've been told that they're 'gunna try and take care of it' but haven't heard anything from the dealer. I just want my car fixed! Thats the whole darn reason I got a new car so it wouldn't have any problems

I will never be back to this dealership, and neither should you. I am from out of town and while in Winnipeg my truck threw a check engine light and had a clear misfire in cylinder 1. After some diagnosis and simple checks I took it in hoping for some advice and a quick diagnosis. It took several hours to talk with anybody on the phone, and after getting minimal progress I ended up walking to the dealership just to talk with somebody. I ended up booking an appointment for diagnosis the next day, and dropped my truck off later that day. After dropping my truck off it was a couple day wait for any news of what the issue was or could be. After receiving the diagnosis as a likely collapsed lifter, they continued diagnosis to see what would be required for a fix - at this point I borrowed a car from a friend and returned home to work. About a week later I was getting frustrated, so I kept calling the dealership while also working with Chevrolet customer service to help me get through for answers and this did not help much. After much waiting I finally received the diagnosis that it would require a camshaft replacement, or an engine replacement. At this point I asked for a few quotes for what would need to be done as well as looked at independent garages closer to home. I received the quote from the local garage by early afternoon the same day and kept waiting to see if GM would assist with my issue as my truck had just passed the deadline for powertrain warranty and was well under the KM threshold at 128000km. GM would not assist with the issue. I attempted calling the dealership to get some information on price point for the work but could not get through to anybody. While trying to get in contact with an advisor, I asked another rep about the status of my vehicle only to be told that "the timing chain has arrived", I asked if that was for the wrong vehicle but was assured it was mine as they confirmed my name. After spending the afternoon frantically trying to get in contact with somebody to stop any potential work on my vehicle that is not needed, the day ended and nobody was left at the dealership. Starting the next morning I placed 21 phone calls to the dealership from the time the dealership opened, YES TWENTY-ONE CALLS, until I finally was able to talk with somebody. I found out that my vehicle was not getting a new timing chain and that was another service record. I was also finally able to get a quote from them for the work and I immediately told them to pack my parts in a box and store them in the cab of my truck so they would be ready for pickup as I am coming with a tow truck. See the attached pictures for how I found my vehicle when I arrived at the dealership. Also note that my truck was left UNLOCKED with all of my personal belongings and tools in the cab while all of my engine parts were sitting in my truck box exposed. At this point it had been in their care for about two weeks, and who knows how long it had been in that state. After recovering from the shock of the lack of care shown to my vehicle, we loaded my truck on a trailer and got out of there. I wish this is where the frustration ended, but it is not. Half way home, I checked my truck again and noticed something critical, I was missing my removed cylinder head, and at this point the dealership was already closed for the weekend. Not wanting to mess around any more and with no patience remaining, I sent an email to as many names at the dealership as I could find highlighting this sad state of affairs and indicating that I would be issuing a charge dispute with my bank if things were not resolved immediately. Amazingly, this had results! If you require communications with this dealership, send an email to everyone! ... Edited to include other picture of state the vehicle was found in. ....

I enjoyed being consistently updated by Julien and that gave me great comfort. Ryan in Finance gave me the numbers (with no surprise add-ons!), and kept me within my financial comfort zone. One day I hope to shake his hand and thank him. I wish I could end it there, but I can’t. Upon delivery of my new 2021 Tahoe, and after so much excitement built up, I was left feeling a huge disappointment. Once all the paperwork was signed, I hopped in my beautiful vehicle. Only to find garbage in the arm rest, including used masks, kids candies, sunglasses etc. It didn’t belong to the kind delivery guy. Then I start the vehicle, and to my extreme dismay, the odometer is reading over 1,200 kilometers!!!! The drive from Winnipeg to Kenora is just over 200 kilometers. I felt I was sitting in a used vehicle quite frankly. And the garbage sure signified and solidified that feeling. What a let down. After all the personable conversations and professionalism from Julien and Ryan, I felt extremely disrespected. And still do.

Went to the dealership 3 times. Salesman was fairly nice (not sure if his mannerisms where because he was annoyed or just how he is). Regardless, when it came to making a deal, I went in one day with all the intentions of buying the vehicle. We had agreed upon a deal for the price the day earlier, only got around 700$ off (it was a 30 000$+ vehicle). So feeling slightly taken advantage of I wanted to sweeten the pot for myself, and requested a piece of a equipment be thrown in. It was a 30$ value (he showed me their "at cost" pricing for the part) and I was denied! I was going to purchase this vehicle worth over 30k $ and they wouldn't throw in this piece, claiming "we're already loosing money on this deal". To top it all off the salesman claimed the sales manager said that he "didn't care if I walked out" because of this. So that was it, I was quite insulted from this small act, wasn't excited to buy the vehicle, and didn't feel valued as a customer. So I walked away and took my business elsewhere. And I will never walk into this dealership again, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone.

I had the pleasure to use the Express Drive through for an oil change for my 2018 Canyon Denali diesel shortly after arriving from BC. They were very competitive including receiving a jug of DEF. Rebecca and staff were excellent. Shortly after leaving the centre with temperatures hovering around -25C to do some errands, my engine light went on. I was able to return to the Express area in the late afternoon. They quickly performed a scan and confirmed that it had nothing to do the the oil and filter change earlier in the day. The main service area was nearing closing and no techs were available to run a more full diagnostic. Rebecca quickly set up a service appointment 1st thing in the morning. Immediately after arriving in the morning they had the truck on a hoist and confirmed that the 2nd DEF heater was failing to function. They replaced the heater and had me on the road in less than 1 1/2 hrs. Excellent service and staff at Vickars and I would highly recommend them! Thanks Rebbeca and all the staff involved!

Been nothing but difficult to deal with. When I bought my brand new truck the guy didnt install my truck bed lining it then got warped. It was making a funny noise so I took my truck in and they said it was probably the oil filter being installed wrong. I then proceeded to take it to another Chevrolet dealership and they said it was a messed up bearing and it could have EXPLODED if I didnt fix it immediately. Now I'm trying to change my account information to get payments out of my new account, I have called them multiple times and left multiple messages and no one has gotten back to me resulting in delinquent transactions in my account effecting my credit. I would NEVER go back to them. I also never write reviews but I felt this deserved one.

Unfortunately we had an issue with one of our rims from the beginning and when we brought the vehicle in for some warranty work this wasn’t addressed. Young brunette girl named Alex was incredibly friendly, outgoing, and helpful. Got us an AMAZING deal on our brand new 2014 Chevy Cruze. Middle aged blonde lady who handled the financing (I dont remember her name, Hilga, Halaya, something like that) was rude and condescending in every interaction I had with her. She also did not explain to us about how cancelling insurance on your loan works if you need to, which albeit may not be something to think to explain but I actually ASKED about it. We took ALL insurance coverages on our car loan and I clearly said, we plan to do our research on what we have privately and through work, to see what we need in terms of disability and life insurances, and I will likely alter/cancel some of it. She tells us we have 20 days to do so, blah blah blah. Doesn't mention at all that my payments wouldn't/couldn't go back once we sign. I was supposed to pay only $168 bi weekly, but with ALL the insurance coverages it became $190 b/w. I thought, thats fine, its only temporary until we confirm which types we need and don't need and then it will be adjusted. I go back, nope. Not adjusted. Her quote "You signed a financing agreement, we can't change the payment amount". So now I pay the same amount of bi weekly payment, but I don't have the insurance. I really wish my payment was still $168 bi weekly like it is supposed to be, especially because I did NOT KNOW that I was signing something that took that away from me. We negotiated for that payment amount and thought we got an amazing deal but now it's ruined because of her lack of disclosure. I understand thats not her fault if she can't change the payments back, but I REALLY wish she had explained that to us. And, of course, as it is her nature, she explained that she can't do it very condescendingly. Other than not explaining/disclosing that information, she didn't really do anything wrong per say, but I definitely advise requesting to deal with pretty much anyone else. She was extremely difficult to be around, I think it was her tone of voice. I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but no, I saw her on more than one occasion and each time it was the same. Both my fiance and I got the same impression of her and I don't think she has any reason to have any personal beef with us, so it must just be her attitude. Awful.

The mechanics at this location are poorly trained and seldom overlook crucial elements when performing maintenance. I've received an invoice for an Escalade but I drive a Cruze and I had to change my own air filter after two years since it was overlooked. They've installed a rust module inhibitor and crossed the wires when I complained about the smell of rubber in the car they told me it was from outside ... I now have a blinking dashboard. I don't recommend this dealership.

My step son, an out of province purchaser, had just purchased a 2012 traverse from here and Rocco, the one he dealt with, had told him that this vehicle would pass inspection. Obviously, with this 1 star review, it didn't pass inspection and needed both back shocks fixed, the engine light has come on the day after he got it, the left toe adjustor bar, evap purge solenoid, engine missfire and a tune up. He has been trying to contact Rocco since and hasn't got any response back. I think it's pretty childish to ignore your customers when you "strive to provide the best customer service". I'll be sure to let my friends and family know how they will be left in the dark after purchasing a poorly running vehicle from vickar auto! Very disappointed!

I recently purchased a New Chevy Malibu premier 2016 fully loaded The vehicle was with me a total of one day literally only 900km's on the odometer and it would not start The vehicle had to be towed to the nearest dealership no rental car was available my $40,000 car was a paperweight furthermore I ran into more problems with this vehicle were turn signal stopped functioning around 1400k I inquired several times about getting this vehicle repaired in fact I gave them every possible chance to rectify the situation And I still haven't broken vehicle not to mention after seeing the sticker price on a nether vehicle that was identical That I basically overpaid $6000 and if that wasn't infuriating enough they also screwed up on my car payment leading to doing pr authorized payments at the wrong times. My salesperson was Rocco a very nice guy I just don't think they gave him the tools in order to fix these particular problems From today's date January 19 2016 1500km's on the odometer I still have yet to get my car repaired I will end up having to take this to another GM dealership just to get my car repaired because that's what Vickers does all talk no action the same way when my car broke down nobody was there to help me after the first day of purchase here's what happens if you deal with them they're happy to take your money not so happy to provide service! I would not purchase a new vehicle through this dealership ever again and then to add insult to injury they send you a letter in the mail asking if you're completely satisfied and you call them and tell them then they will address your issues by not addressing your issues I have a YouTube channel with over 200,000 subscribers which I have taken the courtesy of recording my car being towed with your sticker on the back of my trunk call me if you want to get this resolved also I will be filing with the Better Business Bureau and going to the vehicle arbitration board if some sort of resolution is not reached thank you sincerely Ryan Daw P.S Please remember people buyer beware

I brought my 2017 Corvette Z06 to the bodyshop, paid over $100,000 for the car. Before I got it towed there I called to ensure they could keep it inside because of the cold winter months, they said it should not be a problem bring the car down. Waited roughly 5 weeks and heard nothing about my car, I called and talk to the manager, and he told me my car was on hold MPI was doing research on how to fix it. He sounded really upset about my car taking up space in his shop and offered to pay a tow truck to get it towed to a different body shop. So he could free up space to keep pushing cars in and out. Don't feel I'm being treated very nicely now, there's also some other damage that I pointed out which they said they would be willing to submit to Autopac. Which he is refusing to do now because nobody likes working on a Z06 Corvette and says autopac is to hard to deal with, and now they are going back on their word on submitting all the damage on the car. knowing how much they all hate my car there scares me of the outcome. Beware of their body shop.

had my 2007 hummer H3 towed here for repairs. turned out to be the driveshaft, differential and transfer case. after a very expensive bill, had the truck for a week and a half, and the exact same thing happened as the first time. Had it towed there again, it has been a week, and they have not even looked at the vehicle,my husband has called a few times, and was told they had 2 transmissions they were working on. this is a customer service issue, was not offered a courtesy car, this is very much thier screw up. for the driveshaft to slip again, is because they did not fix it properly the first time!

After having 8 years and 2 vehicles I had from dealing from this dealership, I can say that I had an incredibly underwhelming experience when I was there last time looking to get a 3rd vehicle from them. Not only were they quite pushy when it came to getting deals processed but they were incredibly disrespectful when it came to me needing more time to think about getting a deal done. The way their reaction came showed their true colours like Gollum being close to a golden ring. Their “one deal getting done” meant a lot more than my 7 year financial needs and thought process going forward, the managers there were nothing but rude and needy when it came to the end of it all like as if I had wasted their time... Would highly recommend checking other dealerships down the block, in the town or even making a trip out to Steinbach before dealing with these guys again. Loyalty don’t mean squat to these guys and it came from them even admitting to it.

Dealership engages in tied coercive selling. Tells you that you need to purchase disability insurance to qualify for financing. Found out a year and a half this is illegal. Bank says they would never put that requirement on a loan approval, because they know it's illegal. I would never buy another vehicle from somewhere that engages in such tactics. Worst experience I’ve ever encountered in sales. I can not wait for the car to be paid off so I don’t ever have to deal with them. When I bought my vehicle I had questions about it because the roof is dirty and I had holes in the seats (front and back), the car we driving slightly crooked and when I asked the sales person would tell me to call vickar Nissan even though I bought the car from them. Two weeks into driving the car I noticed that it was still crooked so I went back into the dealership and spoke to someone else who got me the general manager who arranged for my car to get aligned and to look for him after they were done so we could talk about the other problems with the car. So they had “aligned the wheel” and all seemed fine, I looked for the GM after but he was out so then I tried to reach him multiple times after the visit but I would just get the run around and never got in contacts with him. Fast forward about 4 months I FINALLY get a car from vickar about getting my car in for a inspection so I took the day off because I wanted to sort things out. My appointment was for 8:30am I got there and it seemed like someone had made a mistake and not put me in the system but they fixed it and took my car in. Me and a friend waited from 8:30to 12:30pm for the car and the whole time they had parked my car in the lot and had not even called at it. FOUR HOURS we waited thinking they were fixing the car but they weren’t and I had to leave because I had an appointment and the service receptionist at the time had told me to call again so that they could fix it and they were so ‘sorry”, I took my car elsewhere for my services. I’ve had the car for less the a year and the keys battery has died (push start) I called to see what I can do about it and they’re telling me I’m gonna have to buy another key when I have not even had the key they give me for a year Fast forward to June 4th I have some problems with the car and I have a total plus protection plan so I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone to see if the protection plan can cover any of the problems and surprise surprise I’m getting the run around yet again. Honestly regret going into vickar everyday because when they were trying to sell me a car my phone was blowing up CONSTANTLY and now that they’ve given me a problemic car I can not seem to get in contacts with anyone. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

We took our car in for service. Had a few scheduled maintenance things done plus a couple of things that were a serious issue. Spent $1600 and went on our way. It is expected that service and maintenance comes with a price, it is part of owning a vehicle. Where I am having a problem is, the car sounds worse than before. It is making noises that are downright scary! My husband, Dale King went back with the car, a few days after the car was fixed and as soon as it became noisy. He spoke with Jay and one other fellow and they said it was "normal" noise! They ran a diagnostic on it and it showed nothing and again said that it is just normal! They said the service we had is guaranteed and not to worry. So, off my husband went. Well, the car seems to drive fine, but the noise is so unnerving, I am scared to drive it and have resorted to taking the bus! We called and again was told it is normal noise! We bought the car from Vickar and have been satisfied until now. We have only had it serviced there, so we expect quality work. I am very disappointed that they don't seem to be willing to help. I am not prepared to spend more money for something that should have been fixed properly. It was not making these noises when we brought it in. Really not sure where to turn and now I am stuck with a car I am scared to drive!! Very disappointed in a company that I used to have faith in.

WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH. I bought a 2014 Chevy Trax (2 years ago). I went in to the dealership hoping to find some help in buying a car. Something reliable since I drive on the highway a lot. The salesman that I dealt with was not only rude but seemed to be in some type of hurry. Since I was new to car shopping and the whole experience I let it slide. Now fast forwarding to 2 years later. I have a car that's been broken since the day I drove it off the lot. I have been back to the dealership multiple times to have things fixed. They ordered the wrong part for my rear windshield wiper (The motor for it was broken). They still have NOT fixed it. A screw came loose on the front bumper a month or two after I purchased the vehicle and it was hanging down ever so slightly. With concern I went to the service department and had them look at the car that day. The service employee then told me it would be completely fine to drive back home to Saskatchewan with it hanging like that. Trusting that he knew more about cars than I did...I drove it and it came off on the highway!! I took it back ASAP and they told me it wasn't their problem. That I had to make an MPI claim! (I was also told because I had road side assistance that I would get reimbursed for my tow if I sent the invoice to the dealership. I never got that money back). I take very good care of my car. It's never been in an accident or been driven recklessly. But somehow my hub-cabs are bent and look like they're about to fall off. Also it recently started having engine problems and revving quite high on any speed above 80 kms/h. It doesn't feel safe on the highway at all (The salesman told me it would be). I didn't know much about cars going into the dealership and was clearly taken advantage of as a young girl buying her first new car. The final total of my car (Which is the most basic level, doesn't have cruise control - NOTHING.) was $34,000 !!! This car brand new is barley worth $20,000. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this dealership or even to buy GM at this point. In fact I am trading the piece of crap in next week for an SUV that is 100x nicer, more reliable and affordable! Thanks to the wonderful people at Gauthier Chrysler for getting me out of this mess!!

Excellent experience dealt with them twice now and both times I was impressed with the deals they were able to provide me! Taken my car for oil changes and got tires swapped and didn't have a single problem with service department had my car back within an hour. WOW!! ???? This was my first time purchasing a new car and I was blown away with the service I received. The salesman Tamer, sales manager Malik & finance manager Ryan were all so easy to deal with. I know going forward if I have any questions or concerns any of the 3 of them will be there to help! Lastly, I was shown by a younger lady all the features of my car and how to connect to it. She was super nice & also very helpful. I know I’ll be seeing them again down the road when it comes to purchasing another new vehicle.

Our salesman was Jack Campbell. We were looking for a 2013 Equinox, and saw one in the showroom. We had just started looking, and by the time we decided on the one in the showroom, it was sold. Jack searched and found us a red one in Alberta. Because of weather delays and the fact that we had sold our 2006 Equinox already, Jack was very quick to offer us a demo model to use while we were waiting for our car to arrive. I had approached the dealership to test drive a new duramax 3 L diesel which I ended up taking home to make sure this was the vehicle for me. Upon returning the vehicle the salesman and manager answered all the questions and broke down all the numbers untill I was satisfied with the deal. Just bought my 2015 Spark I love it!!! Contact Vikar's & spoke with Craig Ouendag. Wasn't even sure about buying the car & had many questions over the course of a week. Craig was patient & easy going. If he did not have an answer he would check & get back to me the same day. When I finally went in to see the car he was great...no pressure. He got me a great deal for my trade & the car. Tony in Financing took all the time I needed to explained things in a way I could understand & Vikar's had all the fabric & rust protection done in a day. As a single women, buying a car can be a intimidating process but very one at Vikar's made me feel comfortable with no pressure. Did I mention that when I went to the states I had 1/2 a tank of gas & it cost $18.00 to fill. Did I also mention people smile when they see my beautiful lime green car.

Never will I buy a chevy again, or deal with the service department at vickar. I brought my 2008 Equinox in Sept 14', three weeks ago driving, a check engine light, took it to vickar and was told it needed a new timing chain at 128000km, (mind you most engines will never need timing chains done till 300k) I went home to do a search on timing chains with my engine only to find thousands of complaints on timing chains failing around the KM i have, including the traverse, acadia,CTS. Then uncovered that GM extended the timing chain issues on ONLY the Traverse and Acadia, also with digging GM tried to solve the problem shorting the OLM, still failed chains... there has been 5 revisions of the design of the timing chains to date, needless to say i am done with GM. Now your wondering why I am writing a review about Vickar, this technically is GM's issue not the dealer, I respect that. Well first of all, I was not informed there was going to be a diagnostic charge to inspect my SUV until after being told I needed a timing chain. I totally understand that nothing is for free, but being told what the charge is would have been nice. 2nd of all the service adviser who failed to tell me the price of the diagnostic fee was Joel sibal, while speaking to him over my engine, he asked me if i changed my oil every 5000K, i said no i do not, i rely on my Oil life meter that GM installed into my SUV, but do check oil levels and top off between oil changes since I know engines do consume oil during usage especially since the oil changes are long apart about 12000k (this is factory spec) Joel said to me that i needed to change my oil every 5000km, Then what the hell is the OLM for?! 3rd, after speaking to GM canada explaining my situation, GM tried to get a hold of the service manager Bill at vickar, I let a few days pass, nothing no update, so i went down there looking for a service manager, was told he was not there, I left a msg to a other GM service adviser Graham J. to have him call me, well a week later no response no calls from Vickar. left in the dust. There is some Major communications issues with Vickar with staff, and management. i was left feeling like they knew something was up with the engines, I could feel them hiding the fact that there is a issue and wouldn't give me a honest answer with any of my questions. I would take your Gm factory warranty issues and head to the other dealer in Winnipeg to deal with them.

If the dealership could recieve 0 stars it would they are a bunch of common crooks doing things by their own agenda and book and not by policy or standard of work the people who work there get upset easy and decide not to help you with service even if your only able to use their garages due to an agreement in the contract they overlook easy mistakes like failing to properly inspect areas that they are working on especially important stuff for your health and safety as a drive like your cabin filters and other important filters to remove toxic gases from your motor or whether it is inspecting your break system and pressure testing your radiator & other lines when and where it can be done when you pay for their winter check up or routine service you can almost bet your car will come back in worst condition then before because the problems wont be fixed and left to worsen so the profit margin is bigger on their end if I recommend any dealer in the future it will never be anything with vickar in its name as I couldnt even talk to them on the phone before the rep hung up saying I'm not a service advisor and cannot help you but I'm on the phone with you while your in the service departments telephone line... what

Dropped car off for a 1 PM wheel balancing appointment. Show up at 4 PM still not done. I am told in a nasty tone "well it's tire season so we are running late". I proceed to wait in the lobby. An hour later I've had enough and ask how much longer. Lady asks for my name and says, Oh your car has been done for a while now. Nobody thought to let me know?! Are you kidding me? As though things couldn't get any worse, they try to charge me $130+ when I was quoted $15 per wheel. Disorganized and unprofessional. Will never go back. P.S. Shuttle drivers were a pleasure. Shout out to them.
