They are terrible and communication. Their staff need to make sure to clarify things before having a customer wait in the store for 2 hours to only have my time wasted. Not to mention when I entered the store I was not greeted and just starred at like I didn’t belong there and had to FIND someone to help me out… left for 2 hours with little to no communication. UPDATE: If a requirement for a car is that you need a full license you should state that before having someone come in to waste their time… I dont think you’re getting that you have terrible communication!

I bought a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland through Ride Time. I dealt with Andrew and he was nothing short of professional. When I told Andrew my list of wants and wishes he came back with a vehicle that checked all of the boxes and more – not to mention he was under budget (who doesn’t love that!). Given that I live in Toronto, Ride Time is in Winnipeg and the Jeep auction was in Montreal, to say that I’m impressed with Ride Time’s nationwide capability is a vast understatement. This was my first purchase with Ride Time and I can guarantee it will not be the last.

Where to begin? This is our second time buying a used vehicle from Ride Time and once again they really do go over and above for their customers. Last year I bought a "certified" pre-owned car from another Winnipeg dealership (big, well known dealership of new and pre-owned vehicles) and within a few days of bringing the vehicle home it had several issues their technicians clearly missed/didn't bother to inspect, in addition to still having the previous owners address programmed into the nav system and a few other things that would not have passed a safety and presented privacy concerns. Their service manager was incredibly difficult to deal with and gave us the runaround. Overall, it was a fairly negative experience. So this time I decided to give Ride Time another shot since they where honestly so good to us a few years back. We drove several vehicles the first day we stopped by the dealership a few weeks ago, Alex M. and Andrew where excellent at crunching all the numbers for us on each vehicle and worked at getting us the best interest rate possible. They where extremely patient and accommodating with our initial indecision. We finally made up our mind a few days later about which vehicle we wanted to buy and Alex helped us navigate the whole financing process. They even touched up some of the paint chips we noticed on the vehicle before our pickup date. On the day of pickup/paper signing Andrew told us that they where actually able to secure us an even better interest rate than they initially thought with our pre-approval, they also where able to get us the GAP coverage we wanted while keeping us within our budget by giving us a better deal on the overall cost of the vehicle. We've had the truck for about a week now, have driven it everyday and have had no issues, at all. The technicians who performed the safety and vehicle inspections did their job well and throughly. Overall, we are super happy with the service Ride Time provided, the sales team for their patience and always going over and above, and their service team for doing a steller job at ensuring their vehicles are safe and ready for the next owner. Next time we are in the market for a used vehicle, we definitely will be visiting Ride Time again, plus, who can beat free oil changes for life??

Just want to post a review about Ridetime. Alexandra Keeper. She is an excellent salesperson. She is very professional in her approach and is very knowledgeable about the vehicles that are sold. Although young chronologically she displays the maturity of an older person when talking to an older person. She answered any queries I had to my satisfaction and provided additional info that she thought I might have needed. On the Monday following I found out that there was no license plate holder on the front of my Nissan Rogue. I took it in on Monday and talked to Patrick in the service department. Needless to say it was fixed within half an hour. Patrick was very pleasant to talk to and understood my angst. I can only hope but if I have future servicing done or have the need to buy another vehicle both of those persons are still there. On the lighter side, Andrew this is a sample of your Staffing I think they both deserve a big raise.

Where do I even start? I cannot say enough good things about this place. Ride Time was a gorgeous building, great show floor and VERY clean. These are things I've been told to keep an eye out for as some used car dealers can be slimey. NOT Ride Time, not in the slightest. First, when I walked in I wasn't ambushed by an overwhelming amount of salespeople or pressure to make a purchase. Granted, they were quite busy, but I was politely greeted and then left so I could look around a little bit. I was checked on again after, but it was nice that I wasn't instantly grilled. Now, when I had mentioned I was looking for my first car, I expected to be pressed to make a purchase right away. When my saleswoman greeted me and brought my mom and I to her desk, she gave me the run down. Ride Time is not based off commission, so I won't be pressured and I'm free to change my mind should I want to. Also, I wouldn't know my car was used if I wasn't told it was. They are kept in immaculate condition. Saving the absolute best for last, Alexandra K. Oh Alex, she was absolutely incredible. Very kind and knowledgeable, she is very good at her job and an absolute delight to work with. My mom and I explained the situation and my needs, and Alex went above and beyond my expectations with helping me find my first vehicle. She helped me understand what is good gas mileage on a vehicle and what would be suited to my needs, easy and fairly priced to fix and not a hunk of junk. She has a fantastic personality and I felt a lot like speaking with a friend rather than a salesperson. I really appreciated the fact that when we were going through different vehicles, she would show me the price at "worst case scenario" so I can see what the highest amount I would be paying rather than hoping I'll get a lower interest rate from the bank. I HIGHLY recommend her, as well as Ride Time. Buying a car can be really intimidating experience, but they made sure I was comfortable and understood everything. They showed me my car, and had me driving home in it the same day. I love my 2016 Chevrolet Sonic Turbo LT. It is a great beginner car, thank you to Alex, Ride Time and everyone there that was a part of making this happen.

Hi, To clarify the transmission part of your response . It wasn't new ... it was used . Now your sending in another used one , probably have the same problem again . So the expense will be on you guys if i break down out of town . Or if my family gets hurt in an accident on the highway due to transmission failure . Would be better if you guys would get a brand new transmission into my vehicle i bought with all the money i was saving .. this includes my kids money . I tried saying No , when it first broke down on delivery but you kept insisting it would be ok . But it hasnt yet so far , plus I've been paying for insurance for my vehicle since i got it and its still not even on the road yet .

My step son bought a Malibu hybrid from ride time. This car has been nothing but problems. Although they registered it as a non write off, the vehicle in question has been leaking water through the glass. The interior is beyond damaged and when confronted about their so called, "warranty", they wanted my son to pursue the glass installers for compensation. If you can't honour your warranty and blame your internal repair system then you shouldn't be in business and should be exposed for the scam you really are.

As a customer who walked into your shop and showed much interest to buy a car from you, while wanting to negotiate and express that “free oil change” will be okay with us since we know how to work on it by ourselves and instead got asked by the “friendly” and all about reputation manager why we dont want FREE service and said we were very interesting to him just because we dont want free service. Terrible experience with them. They diagnosed my car issue as being a tensioner pulley issue. I purchased the part, had them do the work, and turns out it was a timing chain issue. When I called to ask questions my calls were never returned. Spent $350 on the wrong repairs, which tell me the mechanics had no clue. Years later, I tried to sell the same car, one of their reps "Riley" contacted me asking to get a hold of them. I called 4 time the same day and their voicemail was too full to leave a message. The service I received from this place was disgraceful. I would never set food on this dealership's property again, nor would I recommend my worst enemy to go there. Should be ZERO stars.

My wife found this place online, read the reviews and we decided to check it out. I sure am glad we did! What definitely had my curiosity piqued was when I found out that the salespeople did not work of commission. That fact right there almost had me sold before I even got inside the dealership. We had an appointment with a salesperson but was given someone else due to a walk in he had to deal wth. Though Alexandra was taken by surprise and had no prior knowledge of what we were looking for, she was very friendly and professional. After she had shown a lot of patience with my wife and I (we test drove a lot of vehicles in our price range) we decided on our vehicle. That's when Andrew took over, co-owner of the company. If you want information on a vehicle, including production history and how a vehicle runs, Andrew is your man. I was blown away by the vast amount of knowledge Andrew possesses. But not only that, my wife and I could tell that he really cared about getting us the best deal he could. I felt like he was on our side... Which is very refreshing and rare. I would recommend Ride Time to anyone and everyone who may not have the best credit and need another vehicle.

Need better mechanics these guys do not seem high tech you try and get something fixed that you know is broken they either have a excuse or they fix it and issue comes back next day... if you have warranty I recommend you pay the extra $50 and pay a $100 deductible at the actual dealership to have you’re parts fixed / repaired properly everyone else is great at this place but forsure not a fan of the mechanics

Have been to the service centre desk twice in 6 months for getting some AT tire installed and poor customer service. No one is interested to even greet the customer or even smile say “will be with you shortly”. They have like a staff meeting going on at the desk and don’t acknowledge a customer standing right in front of them. I’m surprised to see all the 5 star ratings. Those stars are probably for the sales guys. I’m sure nothing for the service desk. Step it up guys. There’s a lot of competition out there. Even when we were leaving the place, none of them cared or bothered.

Appointment for 2pm, as expected about an hour of diagnosis. Came in because it sounded like a wheel bearing at speeds of 100km. No technician could duplicate, neither could the shop foreman until we clarified it was speeds of that high. Foreman said he would take it into the shop. Another hour of wait. Heard another sales guy said it could be the bearing or driveshaft. Technician didn't bother letting us know he checked up on it. Had to ask reception if car was done. Receptionist wasn't informed at all how the car was doing.. said it had to be scanned for further diagnosis, but its a mechanical problem. Just overall felt sketchy. Understand the diagnosis was free and doesn't pay to anyone but putting the car on the hoist and putting a stethoscope at higher speeds to clarify if it was the wheel bearing would've been nice. Thanks for the help. Told us it was safe to drive. Will update to let anyone know if the wheel falls off.

On my search for a new vehicle, I went to many dealerships, but this is the best one by far. The people were all very friendly, informative, and trustworthy. They dont like to keep information from you, and definitely don't pressure you to buy anything. If you're financially conscious too, they'll find you the best deals for your money because they know how much you value it and respect that rather than persuade you to spend all of it there. The car also comes with free oil change for life because they value you as not only a customer but friend, as well as specific maintenance service programs to opt into your financing which may only bring the monthly price up a few dollars, so you can have peace of mind in case of any mechanical emergencies. The customer service from Alex, was the best part of the whole experience! They gave me all the options and really went out of her way to find out the answer to any questions I had. Her and everyone there know exactly what they are doing and will treat you with the utmost respect and dignity when purchasing or even browsing for a new vehicle. There are many perks here, and the car was in incredible condition because their auto mechanics/detailers fixed and cleaned up to incredible condition. I would definitely probably most likely buy all of my vehicles here

I don’t recommend ride time, especially not Ches Williams. They took my $1000 downpayment and did not give me what I wanted. Complete crooks and looking to make a quick buck off of women with children and have them pay $500 a month for 52 months for a 2014 dodge that’s only worth 9 grand at most. They deserve less than 1 star and friends and family will make sure they get down there. Don’t go to ride time, even vickar is better. At least they’ll get you an 8% loan and not 31% and hide the contract from you until after you leave the dealership

I first financed a vehicle from Ride Time two years ago. It was a way for me to help build my credit. After two years with that vehicle it was time for me to upgrade for a more long term vehicle. Andrew was more than helpful at making sure I was approved for the car I wanted. He was able to get my interest rate significantly lower than it had been and we were able to get approved in one afternoon and drive away with our new family car. I had my two kids and my newborn baby with me and the staff were all very kind to my kids and I. I even had to breastfeed while signing the paperwork and Andrew held the papers so I could sign with my free hand. The whole Ride Time centre has a very family oriented vibe to it and I always feel comfortable when I have to come in for my routine oil change. People at the service front desk are very polite and pleasant, but their technicians can’t do wheel alignment if their life depends on it, after initial service steering wheel was off to the left 10 degrees, but since I was in the rush they didn’t do the test drive after performing service maybe it was my bad, anyway I took it back following day and they corrected it and tested it, now is off 5 degrees to the right side. Five stars for front desk, zero stars for service done, lost faith in independent service.

The sales person was great at getting me into a vehicle however, by june i was having issues with the coolant system and the check engine light had come on. i tried to get someone to at least diagnose this issue as i have only had the vehicle for 2 months. They were not willing to do anything for me besides charge me full price for maintenance or diagnostics. i understand i bought a used vehicle, but in a customer service driven industry and as someone who works in a customer service focused industry, one should at least be able to expect something beyond the experience i had. They are great at getting you into a vehicle. their whole demeanor changes once you drive it away.

I bought a 2007 caravan paid 7000, nothing but trouble Andrew the owner assured me they would take caravan back less depreciation on trade to jeep I was interested in ,they depreciated caravan by 250 and advised me they would have jeep ready asap, 2 weeks pass finally they call and advised jeep ready however I later found out this was a lie. I paid 10000 for a jeep they knew was a problem, front ball joints, control arms i needed to replace after less than 1000 kms.more importantly they knew the gas tank was finished,namely the vapor control valve in tank. the jeep in hot weather with vapor valve sticking would cut out creating a problem when I told andrew he advised me they would take jeep back on trade but the depreciated price would be 4200 clearly showing his greed and no customer skills, he had a very good vehicle for trade in however it would cost me 1000s more actually in the neighborhood of 13, again not wanting to be fair and give a price for jeep because of rude greedy behaviour I would never recommend this dealership to any one as their vechiciles are overpriced and when you buy a vehicle from them at a outrageous price they never tell how much its worth to buy back don't go here is my advise

She ran a lein check on my suv and said " give me a bit I pretty sure I can find something " its 24 hours later my loans secured my suv is getting detailed and I'm picking up my new 2019 gmc terrain fully loaded . Ride time is a great place to buy a vehicle! The staff is friendly, helpful and value customer service first and foremost! Not only did they put me into a great car, their service team was efficient and had a high level of expertise. The sales staff are fun-loving and knowledgeable which created an inviting, low-pressure and relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend buying a car from these folks!

We have had multiple issues with RideTime, of which we have received no response to any of them. When the car was delivered to us it was missing the front plate bracket. According to the CarProof the car was only ever registered in Manitoba so the part was obviously not placed back on the vehicle during the safety inspection or detailing. We were to pay from our own pocket in order to mount a front license plate as six months later we have received no response from RideTime on this issue. The car was purchased from our home five hundred kilometers from Winnipeg. Nowhere in any of our communications with RideTime did they bother to mention that it only included one key. Six months later we have received no response from RideTime on this issue. The sales representative we dealt with was obviously very inexperienced and quite inept. She stated the auto finance company was called “Auto Finance” when it turned out to be Scotia Bank. She couldn’t answer any questions and always had to consult someone else. She also managed to mess up our insurance forms which were mailed to us. Luckily the insurance broker accepted them anyway or we would have had to have them couriered again to register the vehicle. Six months later we have received no response from RideTime on these issues. My wife was visiting Winnipeg in three weeks from the date of purchase yet we were pressured to take delivery of the vehicle in advance of this date. Once we agreed to take delivery they made my wife’s sister come to the dealer to pick it up while their website states: “How you drive away in your dream car is completely up to you! We’ll deliver your car straight to your driveway, whether you’re just down the street in Winnipeg or anywhere in Canada or the United States”, we were told by one of the owner’s (Andrew) that the service department was “humming” and that they had multiple staff out with “sinus infections” and couldn’t be bothered to deliver a vehicle to Fort Garry twenty minutes away (let alone anywhere in Canada or the US). Andrew was routinely rude to both of us after we refused to buy overpriced Gap protection for our vehicle. Gap protection is priced at $1,000 and would cover the difference in the amount owing on a loan if the vehicle were to be in an accident. I pay $180 a year for insurance on my home’s possessions with coverage up to $35,000. How is a $1000 policy for a car purchased at $13,500 a good value when MPI states less than 1% of cars on the road are in an accident every year (let alone the unknown stat of how many are written off?). The car’s exterior wasn’t cleaned for delivery when it was picked up. It’s now six months later and we have received no response from RideTime on any of these issues. Once the car reached us in Swan River there was a random part from another car in the back seat. The sales representative had no explanation for what it was. Four months after taking delivery we went to get the tires serviced and realized we had no key to unlock the bolts on the tires when the tire shop informed us that it wasn’t in the vehicle. We called RideTime about this issue and much to no one’s surprise they were completely unhelpful and never responded. The tire shop had to break the bolts and we had to replace them at our own expense. While their website states “We promise to delight you every step of the way—so if you can think of anything to make your experience better, please let us know.”, we have routinely attempted communication with them to rectify these issues but have received absolutely nothing in return. It’s obvious this statement and ones like it are simply marketing gimmicks and RideTime has no concern for their customers should they have any issues.

Don't not trust this company!!!! I bought 2008 chevy cobalt for 7000. 2 weeks later my tire exploded on the hiway. After inspection I found the inside edge of both front of tires were completely blad. After returning to them they said the tires were fine I must have been driving with really bad wheel alignment and they refused to pay for new tires or alignment. Even though the inspection they just passed said the tires and alignment were fine !!!! Then 2 weeks later I get major oil leak and take it to mechanic and he showed me that after an exhaust bolt was broken somone tried to fix it by drilling it out and accidentally drilled hole into oil passage in engine block and that it can't be repaired and needs new engine, and that they patched it with silicone that fell off after a few weeks. No money for new engine and tires and alignment. Left me high and dry. Do not trust this company they give used car salesman a bad name. Ps. After tire exploded on hiway and I went to put on spare tire it didn't fit on the car, the rim was wrong size I was stranded on hiway 200 km from winnipeg!!!

when I went to Ride Time to buy my jeep I thought it was a great idea!! So I decided to spend $35,000 on the jeep I wanted and the "premium wrap" Warranty which I thought would buy me a great problem free experience to go along with my ride. Everything seemed fine except a couple small issues with oil changes and referral money but those didn't really bother me. Then my jeep started to squeak which I figured shouldn't be a problem since i had a $2,499 warranty o I brought it in only to be told it wasn't squeaky enough. Needless to say i was disappointed but agreed to come in later when the squeak was louder. A week or two later the squeak got so loud it was almost embarrassing to drive so I got them to look at it again while i was in for an oil change. this time they agreed to fix it and gave me an appointment for 2 weeks later. When I dropped my jeep off I was given a super crappy 2000 intrepid with electrical that only works if you "put the key in the right way" to make it worse I spent 35k so I wouldn't have to drive a crappy car like that but ended up in one anyway. The next day I picked up my jeep paid the $50 warranty deductible and all seemed fine until I got home then the exact same sound came back. So I made another appointment for the end of the day only to find out they had no loner cars today. Which would have been ok if they told me ahead of time and i could have made other arrangements. So of course I was told it was my fault for not telling them (although I didn't have to last time) that I need a loner car. So now I'll be going back a fifth time for the same issue. $2,499 "premium wrap" warranty sounds like a sweet deal but now after factoring time and fuel just going back and forth for one little squeak I may as well have paid Midas and had it done the first time.*Update* Ridetime fixed my problem and stepped up to cover rental and out of warranty work!!

I found a particular vehicle I wanted that was for sale at Ridetime and due to the great reviews and went forward with their dealership for the purchase. Alex was fine throughout the process but you could tell she didn’t always know the answers to certain questions but could usually find the answers from another manager. What I didn’t appreciate was that they stated they can deliver a vehicle to anywhere in Canada and pressured to deliver to me in Swan River to my home. But when I asked them to drop it off fifteen minutes from their dealership in Winnipeg to my sister who was bringing it to Swan River they claimed they were short staffed all week and couldn’t deliver it. Then when I did get the vehicle there was only one key which was never mentioned and it is a big expense to get a second. When I asked about that via text I was ignored. Then I noticed the paperwork for insurance was filled out incorrectly. Sent a photo and explained the issue and was ignored. Luckily MPI was able to complete the insurance transfer but it was still an unecessary hassle. Then I realized that they forgot to put the front bracket back on for the license plate and asked that they send it and was ignored. Seems the only time you get any decent customer service is until they get their money and then you are ignored. I would recommend going elsewhere if you are hoping to be treated well after the purchase.

We are a family of 5, We bought a vehicle from ride time for 8000.00 back in January 2019. This money was the only money we had saved. We are not rich and we sacrificed alot to make this purchase happen. Ride time delivered vehicle after having mechanical problems in kenora. When delivered, there was a problem. The transmission was slipping. When we brought the vehicle in to our local garage the diagnosis was not to good. We needed a new transmission. Today is april 24 and we still dont have wheels. We have been walking since January and they wont give us our money back. Bad customer service, How do we deal with this? Why us? While on the phone they made it seem as if they were the ones who were getting ripped off. Last time for Ridetime.

A few years ago I finally had it with my old 96 Chevy half ton. Far to many repairs etc and it was time to get something newer. Now I will be honest with you my credit was not great infact it was BAD! I started making the rounds to all those who claimed "no credit bad credit, no matter we will get you a ride." HAHA as i had the worst experiences of my life because of my bad credit I was treated as a if my business didn't matter. Last on my list was Ride Time. The Team there were awesome. From the moment I walked in and met Dave Turnley I was treated as a person as i mattered. After giving all my info and needed paper work Dave gave me the greatest news..... I was APPROVED!! After a test drive and of course signing some papers i was on my way. I did my part paying my loan off and now 3 years later I am back at Ride Time and have had another above dealing with Andrew & Glen as they helped me trade in my first vehicle and got me into even a newer vehicle. And I can't say enough about the service and how I was treated as customer. If anyone reading this is thinking of stopping at Ride Time and checking them out.... It would be well worth your time. I bought a 2013 Murano Sl on August 30th. 149500km for 13000. When I arrived the vehicle just had its safety done but none of the detailing was done yet, the car was in their garage and I really wanted to test drive it. The test ride was amazing, the car was beautiful. I felt like I bought something off the line. On top of having one cheapest prices within 1000km it also had brand new 18" all season tire , all new rotors and brakes. When I got back I mentioned my interest and Paul and Andrew did everything they could to get me the term and rate I wanted( I do have a good credit score which helps) and we had a pizza lunch together. Paul assured me the detailing would be done and on the Monday I called, had my car in a couple days later and every concern was met. Great experience and good people to deal with. And like every one else when I got back I asked whats your best price and it was the listed price, it was more than a great deal and even though I didn't bargain I feel like with the condition of the vehicle I came out on top and will recommend them.
