I'm from Alberta and this is the second car I've purchased from Swan Lake Motors. The first one far exceeded my expectations, lasting years longer than I had any right to hope it would. When it finally died, there was not doubt that I would be returning to BC for this purchase. I called Joe and let him know which features I was looking for and he found me the perfect car in less than a week. He had Mike fully inspect it for me so that I knew there would be no problem with interprovincial inspections. I worked with the whole family at points with Joe doing the initial find and sale; Sid answering all my questions over the weekend and finding me an amazing set of winter tires at an incredible price; Cecilia making sure all the paperwork was in order for me to fly in and drive out without a stop; and Heather triple checking the paperwork and signing all the documents to be certain that every I was dotted and T was crossed so that registration would be easy on my return home. They offered me a really solid extended warranty way beyond my expectations. I cannot recommend the team at Swan Lake more highly. I'll never buy a car anywhere else.

Sold me a car last year engine light came on after I drove it off the lot. They said they would take care of it. It took them 3 times before I ended up paying for it myself. It turns out the sparkplug (only changed 1) they used was not regulated for my car. Not to mention they told me over and over again the car was regular gas but I soon learned that it was premium. I don't know if it was their intention to hose a young guy but it sure feels like it.

Honest friendly family run business with fair pricing. Went above & beyond to help us get the truck we wanted, we're a 4 hour commute away and they did all the leg work so when we drove up there wasnt much but having to sign documents. Forgive me I hope I remembered correctly but Cecelia was a pleasure to talk to & explained all the paper work & made sure we left no question unanswered. Be very careful getting high interest financing. I just traded in my vehicle and upon closing the account there was a $1249.00 cancellation fee that I was not informed about for early cancellation. They knew I was going to trade in after 1 year and should have informed me of this .I owed more after 6 months of payments than when I started!!

Saw the exact vehicle I was looking for at a great price online. Went there, met with Josh who is a great, easy to deal with guy, friendly and professional. He gave me a great price on the car plus extended warranty, and a more than fair price for my trade in, but kept my old one anyway - but the offer was much more than fair. I drove away feeling great, I know they will stand behind their vehicles, you just leave there and feel good about your purchase. Highly recommended, and will be my first stop when I need a new vehicle again. All the staff are friendly, his wife takes care of the business side of it (takes your money), and she is super friendly as well! They will however not let you take their dogs Stella and Lucky!

Purchasing from Swan Lake Motors is a truly refreshing experience. A few weeks after the purchase, I discovered that critical a sensor developed a problem and required replacing. I am based out of the south Okanagan, and when we talked to Mike and Joe, they didn't hesitate in coordinating with our mechanic to take care of ensuring the sensor was replaced and the truck was back out working ASAP! Thanks guys! We recomend that you talk to Mike if you're looking for a pre-owned vehicle. He will take care of you with honesty and integrity.

Let me start by saying that generally I wouldn't buy a vehicle from a used car dealership. Went to Swan Lake after a long look for a very specific truck. My salesman Josh was excellent from front to back. He wasn't pushy, always was honest, and seemed to legitimately care about the vehicle being the right one for me. The owner of the business, Sid was a stand up guy and was not at all what I expected from a used car dealership owner. He was respectful and again seemed to actually care about dealing honestly. The only person in the dealership I clashed with was the sales manager Joe. While he was civil for the most part, when I asked questions beyond the most basic surface level sales ones it was met with a lot of frustration and what felt like the rhetoric I would've expected from such a dealership. I'm sure he wasn't the only one to blame in that situation, as I will grant that he knows more about selling cars than I do! The vehicle itself is what I expected, and while I feel I overpaid some for it, it was such a rare combination of trim, options etc I didn't really have much choice. I would highly recommend this dealer. Talk to Josh.

Best place to buy. We were just looking at trucks, not in a hurry to buy at all. We seen reviews on this place and were high rated. Happened to see a truck we liked. Had a quick look and was met by a salesman. Not pushy at all, I mean at all. We talked about the truck we seen and decided to leave. The salesman took my number because of our interest in the vehicle. I reluctantly gave it to him. I ended up texting him about a truck we seen online that may be better suited. The salesman told me it's pending sale and will text me if it sells. Just after closing time I got a short quick text saying it was sold. Nothing said about coming back and looking at another vehicle. The next day we decided not come back and have another look at a truck that again, caught our eye. We got there and was met by the same sales man. All this gentleman said was, "let me grab you the keys". We chatted briefly about the truck. I asked some questions, he easily answered. We ended up buying the truck. The finance department handled it quickly and easily. No hassle. This is a family run business that I highly recommend. This family run team runs off their high quality sales and vehicles they sell. Glad we decided to check them out. Start to finish, absolutely no hassle or push to buy.
