Update (Oct 22). Just would like to follow up here. I received a callback from the store manager the nest day and it’s nice of him hearing my complaints. I was assure that they will try to rebook me if there are cancellations. Luckily we got the spots both for my Prius and Highlander in September. My experiences have been changed due to their focus on customers and due diligence to make a change on my bad experience. They also offer shuttle service so I was sent over home and then picked up to get my car. Thank you! Last year I received a mail from Toyota saying that they were recalling my highlander. I also needed a maintenance done at that time so I called Kelowna Toyota in December, 2020. The lady answered the phone and said that they could have me in on December 30th, 2020 for four hours maintenance but they couldn’t put the recall service done on the same day because there’s no part. The lady said that she could put Sept 8, 2021 at 8am for a tentative date for my recall service. I was surprised with the date being so far away but couldn’t do anything about it. Then I put it in my calendar. When I went there for maintenance on December 30, 2020. The lady in front said that they couldn’t located my appointment. I was very sure it’s this date and didn’t know what to do. After a while they did their research, they realized the staff who booked my appointment accidentally put down December 30, 2021 instead of 2020. Anyway they figured it out and did squeeze me in that day and also realized it’s not a four hour appointment but actually it’s a one hour appointment. Ok. I took it as long as they could have it done that day. Today we received a phone call saying that my highlander recall device is scheduled tomorrow. What a surprise! I called back and said no I had it on my calendar for Sept 8 and nobody told me it’s rescheduled. The lady was very rude and arrogant, saying very coldly that she couldn’t locate my Sept 8 appointment at her system and she’s all booked up until January 2022. Over this phone call I didn’t hear any apology and she kept arguing with me nonstop saying she couldn’t do anything and it’s not her fault. I am not sure if arguments with customers is Toyota Kelowna’s attitude or what. At the end we are compromised with January 2022 date. Toyota is our favourite brand. We have Prius, highlander and used to have highlander hybrid. I feed so bad at kelowna toyota’s rude customer service. This is a one year waiting for my highlander to be done for recall service and toyota kelowna is taking everything for granted, including its rudeness and arrogance. I’m very upset and extremely disappointed at Kelowna Toyota.Thats what they did and we only have one Toyota dealership in Kelowna guess we don’t have any choice except going to drive one hour to Vernon or Penticton.

The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever had. I bought a brand new 2019 4 runner three years ago and have had nothing but problems with the car as well as dealing with the service department. Every time something goes wrong I am immediately blamed for the issues saying that because I take the car off roads it’s my fault. I bought a Toyota for that exact reason I want a vehicle to take up onto the forest service roads. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Toyota Kelowna.

This dealership's costumer service doesn't match Toyota's reputation. It is interesting, when they want to lease you a car they are very nice and polite, but when they want to service and do maintenance on the car, they are terrible. I bought an exteded warranty from them and when my car's headlight stopped working and the service department employee said that it is included in the warranty and they will replace it for free, but when I took the car there for replacement, another employee said that the warranty doesn't cover it, because the headlight has been hit, while the first employee had seen that the headlight wasn't hit from anywhere and that it had stopped working. Anyway, I have very bad expereinces with their service department and many times they returned me the car without resolving any issues.

This place is great! The salesman we spoke to was NOT pushy in the slightest and neither was the manager. She simply came over to introduce herself and gave us her card. They listened to our needs and desires very well. All in all we decided to get a different vehicle, but would happily shop here again. A friend of mine also had raving reviews about the mechanic there. They took the time to explain everything to her (I witnessed this) so she understood it all. If I could give you more than 5 stars I definitely would!

Honestly so disappointed, last year came in for a paint pen to fix rock chips, the parts guy said my make and model of Tundra was 2 separate blacks.. not true there was only 1. I gave them more chances to redeem themselves, called 4 times this week and left messages no-one called me back. We were in the marker for PHEV and they can be hard to come by. We contacted Kelowna Toyota where they had recently listed a used 2018 Prius Prime. Steve Renaud was immediately helpful and knowledgeable about the car and how it fit into what we were looking for. He even offered to pick us up later that day to test drive the car, which we took him up on as we had no transportation. We were thrilled with the vehicle, and decided to purchase it. We made life difficult for them by being unorganized, but Dave and Steve made the process easy on us--even lending us a loner car to get our banking details sorted out (remember no transportation). Second time attempting to book a service here. First, I requested online in June, I didn’t receive any response. So I did same for Penticton Toyota and they responded immediately. I had my first service with Penticton and they were fantastic, provided excellent service. Tried same with second service, Kelowna responded but left messages back and forth and didn’t get any call back after a few days. Called again and spoke to a gentleman that didn’t seem to me very good at answering the phone, to take appointments, was curt and impolite. After a long time taking information, was told nothing available until end of the month. Told him I would try Penticton Toyota. Called Penticton Toyota, immediately was told my car wasn’t in need of service until December. ignore service indicator on dash, stop into Toyota shop, they will shut off, then offered to call me and remind me of my service, in advance. Again excellent service Penticton Toyota!

You will either have to call multiple times before someone even picks up, be on hold for 5-10 minutes or leave a message for someone to call you back in a few hours "when they can".

Recently moved to town which is why this was my first service at Kelowna Toyota. Angela was incredibly friendly and helpful. She dug into the service history and determined several items were completed ahead of schedule and thus expensive items such as transmission fluid flush wasn't necessary for quite some time. Follow-Up - the Parts Manager called to apologize for the poor service. He took responsibility and offered a reasonable solution to make things right. Thank you for the follow-up! Terrible service! I ordered a new Key FOB for $300 + and set up an appointment for four weeks out. I was called and told to bring in my DL and insurance to verify my identity for the key programming. I came in, showed my ID and paid for the key three weeks before the appointment. On the day of my appointment, I had to wait three hours for them to process the paperwork before they could program the key. What was the point of me booking the appointment? The service department blamed parts and parts claimed no one told them to do anything before the appointment. No one would take responsibility for this poor service. Bottom line is I’m buying a brand new Toyota SUV next month and will be buying from another dealer.

Bought my first ever brand new car from Kelowna Toyota and I had a very good experience. Was really looking at the C-HR but it was a bit over the budget. I saw the Corolla Hatchback in the showroom and decided to do a test drive. I fell in love with how smooth the car felt while driving it. Sean Livingstone went above and beyond. He helped us find the perfect car that's within our budget. He showed us the C-HR and the Corolla Hatchback SE in white and silver. We didn't feel rushed or pressured. Joe Sassine gave us a good deal. David Crawford helped us with financing and it was surprisingly painless (LOL ????). Even Natasha from insurance was good to deal with. I was able to drive home my brand new car. Got to use it for a few days and brought it back today to get detailed. Communication is quick and clear. Got an email for my first appointment just after purchasing. I seriously cannot say enough good things about Kelowna Toyota. Best dealership with best staff in town.

There was a used truck that Kelowna Toyota was selling and had online, I was from out of town and Joe Sassine very helpful in answering any questions, agreeing on price and making sure the Truck was in the exact shape that I wanted it in before picking it up (they sent it over to a body shop to fix some rust on the tail gate) The day came for me to drive from Vancouver to pick it up and when I got in for a test drive the check engine light turned on midway through. Turns out there was a problem with it that they weren't able to solve right away. After a conversation with Manny Gervais he gave back my deposit and said that they would try to fix the vehicle and if I still wanted it afterwards they would send it to Vancouver for me. They sent it to a Chevy/GM dealership and the dealership said it was fixed. They then drove it around for over 200kms as a parts truck to see if the problem would re occur while constantly giving me updates. After a weeks time I said that I still wanted it and they sent it to Vancouver for me at no extra cost, sadly the following day the code came back. I called Manny and he paid for a inspection at a local Chevy/GM dealership for me and was willing to fix the problem if it was under a certain dollar value. Turns out that the original problem was much bigger then anticipated and was actually a very common with these trucks. He sent me back my cheque and had a company pick up the truck from me a week later. Although I didn't end up getting the truck I am amazed by the service I got from Manny and Joe and have no hesitancy ever buying a vehicle from Kelowna Toyota again. I don't think there is too many dealerships out there that would be this helpful and willing to do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. My only mistake was for the first time in my life going for a domestic... I've learned my lesson.

Bought a Tacoma from Kelowna Toyota and Tala Crossley & the team were great to deal with! I had to come from out of town and they were very accommodating for me to arrange travel & Tala was nice enough to pick us up from our hotel in the morning to bring us to the dealership which was a huge help. She pulled a few strings and made it work though. My truck arrived the day I left town! The entire car buying experience at Kelowna Toyota was a positive one. From service, to sales, to finance, to insurance, everyone at this location seems to enjoy working there. The atmosphere was positive and there were no high pressure sales tactics. Our sales guy, Mackenzie, was helpful throughout the entire process and beyond. He answered our questions, offered insight, and helped us make the right decision for what we were looking for. He busted his butt throughout the day to make sure our purchase (used) was cleaned, detailed, and as perfect as possible by the time we were ready to drive off the lot. Immediately after the purchase, one of Kelowna's illustrious drivers decided to get free swinging with a door in a parking lot... Since Kelowna Toyota was already going to buff a touch up started pre purchase, they did me the extremely kind favor of buffing out my brand new scuff as well. Not something I would ever think a car buyer is entitled to, but a gesture that guarantees this happy car buyer will continue to return for ongoing service, and probably our next purchase, hopefully years from now. And finally, last but certainly not least, the best dealership dog award has got to go to Waffles. Maybe that's why everyone there is so happy?!
