Before I list some negative things, I would like to say I bought my vehicle at Polito Ford, I had a great experience buying my vehicle from their sales staff, and if not for the sales representative communicating on my behalf to the service department I believe it would've been another week of a wait to get my truck repaired. After my truck died on the side of the highway when I needed to have it towed to a service centre to repair it, it's not a private location I trusted, but the dealership I trusted to get my vehicle back to me a small business owner, in a timely and efficient manner. However I found the service department anything but timely. From the front desk, to the service technicians I hit countless roadblocks. Had a technician after he started working on my truck Thursday at 630pm (dropped off Wednesday at 8am) tell me he wouldn't be able to work on my truck Friday morning because they're busy fitting snow tires. I saw service technicians sitting on display motorcycles for thirty minutes, restocking milk in the fridge. And my truck wasn't ready until Monday afternoon. The service manager was very helpful when I picked up the vehicle Tuesday morning, after not recieving the warmest of customer service. In the end I was looked after, but with such a bad taste in my mouth I don't think I can afford as a small business owner to be vehicle less for that long again, having my vehicle left on a lot not being worked on for so long because snow tires are the bulk of their business.

Recently I went truck shopping at Polito Ford, I was a little nervous and overwhelmed about the thought of it all as a woman. As I arrived I was greeted by a friendly salesman Jeff Down, who made me feel comfortable and guided me through the various truck models and many options to fill my requirements. This was the best vehicle shopping experience I've ever had. Jeff was very knowledgeable, personable and answered my many questions patiently. He gave me the time I needed to make my decision on my trade-in and purchase while not pressuring me into a sale, which I really appreciated! I recently booked 2 of my vehicles in for service. Initially there was a delay in getting an answer back to book the appointment, but that was soon remedied. I brought my first vehicle in and had my 3 children with me. We were in and out if there very quickly. We returned home to pick up our second vehicle . When we got back to the dealership, Bonnie came out and offered to bring us back home so we didnt have to wait a second time. They returned the vehicle after the service was completed. What a great experience from start to finish at Polito Ford. I was looking to trade in my 2012 Ford Escape for an Explorer to fit our growing family and found an ad for one at Polito. Mike got back to me right away and answered all my questions. I live about 90 min away so we went to see it and everyone we dealt with was fantastic. Mike got me exactly what I was looking for and they added new wheels and brakes as well as interior protection. We felt so relaxed and bought our new vehicle. My Ford Explorer had rust issues on the hood. I called Mike and Stacey in Service and they immediately wanted to help. I am not impressed with the service after 4 visits and two different diagnosis, my 2017 350 heavy duty truck is still not starting. On very cold mornings, I have to boost it to get it going, even plugging in the heater at night. The first visit, I was told I needed a new starter at a cost of over $800. I could not believe a starter was needed after only 3 years, and my local part store will sell me one for $300. Now Polito is telling me I need new sensor's not a starter at all. I don't think they know what is wrong and want to charge me for anything. I will not be looking to buy another Ford.

Not happy with this shop right now. They lied and tried to overcharge. Here's my story....I went to for an exhaust leak check....they checked it for two minutes and then told me I needed a new exhaust manifold and an egr tube and it would cost around $1000. They told me there was a hole in my manifold and I already checked it out....there was not. They lied to me to make as much money as possible. I called them out on it and said I didn't want the work done there. After that they tried charging me 60 dollars for an exhaust inspection even though online it says "free exhaust inspections." Went home right after and ended up fixing it myself for $115 dollars. Probably will stick to my usual mechanic instead.

I am very disappointed, i have been saving money for seven years to be able to have a better vehicle. I bought a overpriced Ford Ranger. The sad part is that a week after purchase the rust became evident. The tonneau does not fit or stay on. The truck was filthy dirty on the inside. The tire has a defect. And no help with my concerns. I had to take my truck to another garage for my tires. Found out they were unbalanced. Had to get another oil change as oil was black. Another $80.00 spent.

Since moving to Lindsay from Toronto, Polito has been doing the service on my cars. I have never had a problem and always got my car back in a timely manner and the work done well. I even had my drive belt go while I was in town and got my car to them and they pulled it into the bay right away, even though they were closing in a few minutes and had folks waiting for their cars. They will quote the most expensive option for repair first but had some cheaper options ready when I explained my budget. Ultimately turned a 3000 bill (premium) to a 1300 bill (budget).

The sales team of Jeff and Dustin were quick to greet me and explain the back story on the car, the previous owner and their recent purchase of a new vehicle from Polito Ford. I was treated like an adult and in no way pressured to make a offer until I was ready to do so myself. I was allowed a considerable amount of time with the car to really know for sure this is what I wanted. Came into Polito for an oil change at the Quick Lane and if they'd had a do-it-yourself lane it'd been much quicker. Very laid back atmosphere...one guy stands around with his hands in his pockets, while another stands with his arms crossed watching one technician do all the work. I've heard of people taking their time and doing it right...well guess what...they took their time, and then some...and still screwed it up...when I got home and checked my oil that they'd just changed they'd added about 1/2 litre TOO much!! Place must be such a cash cow they are beyond good customer service.Will not be back.

All work was completed except that a part was required for the remote starter to work. They said it would be in at 3 days. This was in the midst of the coronavirus. I didn't hear anything from Polito and after about three weeks I phoned and was told that the part was not in yet. It has been now about three months and still no word. I choose to believe that the Ford factory that produces this part has switched to equipment to combat coronavirus. I do not need this work done now since it is now summertime. My complaint is that I have not been informed by Polito of anything. This is not like Polito A few days later I received an email that stated someone was looking into this and I should stay tuned. Still no word and soon I will have to bring the car in for more service.

Top notch sales department and service department. Very happy with all aspects of the dealership. I am also very impressed with the new truck except the wind noise in the cab. I have had it there twice in the last week. The service department have helped as much as they can. There Is an issue that is clear with the 2015/2016 f150 and the manufacture needs to come up with a fix. I have alot of pride in my ford products and it's hard to believe there is that much wind noise in a truck I believe is superior to all others.

Very professional. Even during the pandemic they asked if I needed a ride. Which I didn't because I had taken my car to a Pontiac dealer and they quit the shuttle service when pandemic started so they offered to call me a cab. I set up my appointment for 8am and by 8:10 my truck was in a bay getting the snow and dirt removed so they could do the inspection. They called within 2.5 hours to tell me what was needed and what should be changed. And a full explanation of why it was a must or should change out with pricing. This is only the second time I have been to this dealer/shop because I have always owned gm cars. I did bring a gm car to them once to get some work done and they were good then. I will be bring all my vehicles here from now on including the gm and the Honda. The service advisor was also quite knowledgeable and I asked him several question 2 of which I know cost money. He did not have the answers I needed but when I picked up truck he gave me a separate piece of paper with the info I needed/wanted free of charge because he was walking by my truck and seen service tech in the computer and asked him for it. I asked if I owed them anything for it he said no just don't tell anyone. So let's keep that between me and you ????

Dropped car off at 9am for a one hour appointment to have winter tires put on. The car was not ready until 3pm - by then I was on my way to Toronto for a function. So lost service of my car for two full days over a one hour job. I was organized and had a ride pick me up at the dealership at 9am so I did not have to wait around in customer lounge - I am convinced the service department put other customers in front of me because they chose to wait in the waiting area even though their appointments were after mine. Not happy with outcome at all.

Used the quicklane booked an appointment for etest for 2pm right after lunch.Arrive 145p left 155p it took longer to to put me in the system than to do the test. I had my sticker by 225p in lindsay. great job

Horrible service waited 3 weeks for them to fix my ford f-250 finally after them not calling me for 3 weeks I called them and they hadn't even touched my truck only charged a dead battery and want to charge me a couple hundred dollars for that. The lady on the phone was very very rude could not give me a estimated time or price to have my truck fixed and finally told me to take my truck some were else after a month of no work done on it and a couple hundred dollars later HORRIBLE SERVICE AND BUSINESS ALLTOGETHER

I had an issue with my Ford F350, I was quoted a price to fix the problem which I thought was fair. I went the next day to pick up my truck and the mechanic was still working on it. He had found another problem and and hour and a half later he and another mechanic had it fixed and I was out the door, no extra charge and my truck has never worked better. I was on my way to Newfoundland at the time and I made it there with no other issues. They went over and above, thank you Pilito Ford.
