Tim and Melissa where the two individuals I worked with at Lindsay KIA. First Tim took his time to fully explain some specific information about my financial situation in detail. I felt comfortable to spend 1-2 hours on this topic before even discussing cars. I left that discussion feeling armed and educated on my next steps for the next 4-10 years in regards to my credit situation. It is absolutely above and beyond and I am blessed to have met Tim. Next was choosing a car that met my needs and I was provided many options which I tried, however when I saw the numbers for a brand new 2020 Forte I had to give it a try. KIA has upped their game in both external and internal design and after a ride I didn’t want anything else. They made the process simple and within another hour or so I signed paper’s for my new ride. That night I was all about the car so I looked at options and wanted an upgrade, that’s when Melissa came in and helped out with getting me the upgrade to a higher build with what was approved by the creditor. I got the sound system and all the tech options that I wanted. I walked away satisfied with my first brand new car. Suffice to say I put on 1000km’s in 4 days cause I just love my ride and that’s thanks to the great people I met at Lindsay KIA!!!

Checked out the 2018 Soul, and it has many new features as stock items. The model I liked the features on, but could not drive because they did not have any in-hand, was the Turbo. It comes in, with a smaller engine, slightly smaller CID but greater horsepower with the overhead camshaft.

My wife and I bought our Kia Sorento two years ago and it has been a terrible vehicle. We had nothing but problems from day one. It ended after experiencing catastrophic engine failure, which is (I discovered since) a common occurrence for Kia vehicles. The service team gave us a had time about honouring the warranty that this dealership sold to us and our vehicle sat dead in their parking lot for almost two months. I ended up paying $2000 above and beyond the extended warranty on a vehicle with only 50 000 kms on it and they seemed to think i should be grateful. Stay as far away from this dealership and these vehicles as possible.

I used to get top notch service from Lindsay Kia. They knew you on a first name basis, and would go above and beyond to ensure you have a positive experience . However, last year they had a lot of turnover in service staff. Getting simple repair work done dragged on and on. Nobody called back. Calls were diverted to a call center. However, they are now under new ownership and seem to be cleaning things up. They have told me they are dedicated to bringing back great service and personal touch. Will update again after I've had service work done. Update. The service staff musical chair game continues. All new service staff again. Same issues persist. I never get follow up calls on service issues. I have an outstanding issue since the spring. The former staff were supposed to call back and didn't. I followed up again a few weeks ago. Had to go through the process again and have them evaluate the warranty issue. Still no call back. Another issue was fixed but the root cause not addressed. When I asked for what they would do about it they gave a weak response. Almost like they want to keep it going till the warranty is up, and its my problem then. I'm going to be taking my vehicle to another dealership until my warranty is up. Then I'll be going to a reliable local garage. This is ridiculous. KIA makes a good vehicle. Just don't buy from this shop.

I went to Lindsay Kia to look at either a Sedona or Sorento, after talking with Tim and going over everything that I would need the vehicle to do I decided on the Sorento, Tim was awesome to deal with and kept me in the loop with everything and worked out the best possible deal for me with the best possible payments ( I called other Kia dealerships to see what their offers were), I would highly recommend dealing with Tim if you are in need of a new car. Now there were a few hiccups along the way, when I bought the car I wanted a hitch and wiring harness installed, due to everything going on with COVID, they were unable to get the hitch put on in time for the pick up date, I agreed to wait and when the hitch finally came in I made an appointment to get installed, but they were unable to do it because they ordered the wrong wiring harness, the service department wasn't very straight forward on what happened and left it to Tim to explain which I don't feel was right as he does not work in the service department, I made another appointment again for the hitch and wiring harness to be put on and when they called to find out where they were picking up the car the person for the service department was rude and short on the phone, after he arrived to get the car he wouldn't talk to me, when they came to drop off the car I tried to ask a couple of questions and he just walked away from me, Needless to say after having that experience with the people from the service department I wont be taking my car there for any work. But I do have to say Tim has tried very hard to make everything right. And I would just like it to be known the ONLY reason why I am giving this dealership a five star review is because of Tim and all his efforts.

Our experience has been Rollercoaster looking for a new vehicle after ours crapped out. I've tried financing before, and have never gone through with it fully due to higher interest rates offered because of my low credit rating. As someone who previously couldn't get an interest below 20%, Mak worked with us to bring that down by nearly half. The other benefit to this, was that he also went over how our credit score, and how building credit really works (bringing truths to some of the myths that were stuck in my head). He gave detailed advice on how my girlfriend and myself could bring our ratings up, so that when the time to refinance comes, we could get an even lower interest. Even when we were on the edge of backing out, afraid of not being able to afford it possibly long term, he had worked with us to give options to vehicles we could afford and did what he could to even get us discounts towards the vehicle itself. Meeting in person we felt very comfortable, the dealership itself is well maintained and professional. Not once did I feel awkward or have the feeling of doubt. When we got our car, we honestly could not have been happier, he had taken the time to show us how to set everything up and all the features, it was so nice to see the smile on my girlfriends face, without the worry that we had just made a big mistake. Being my first time going through fully with a finance I want to say honestly it was a 5/5 experience and thanks for all the help when we needed it!

My mother purchased a $56,000.00 Kia Serento unfortunately purchased all the upgrades and warranty they offered her. It is 1 year old and has rust spots all over the vehicle. She called and spoke to the dealership when making an appt. For her maintenance check they told her if it is not stone chips IT WILL BE COVERED UNDER HER WARRANTY. She took the vehicle in and they told her its not covered and she can take it to a place in Lindsay and pay to have her new car fixed. They passed it off as they have new owners. So I guess the new owners are not proffessional and do not stand by their warranties.

Lindsay Kia is the best! The staff are always very friendly and helpful. On my last visit, Alan showed me how to change the battery on my key fob, then Alan and Matt went outside to my car to show me how to start it manually (it's a push start) if my battery ever died again. Everyone at Lindsay Kia is very knowledgeable about their products and service is awesome. Booking an appointment is very quick and easy and the new waiting area is very comfortable to hang out in. I came into the store with an idea of what I wanted in a new vehicle. Tim Oliver pointed me in the right direction of the Kia seltos. He took the time to sit with me and my girl friend to explore our options and figure out what best suited our needs from financing and the different vehicles. He was very knowledgeable on each Kia model, and their advanced features, has mileage etc. He made it incredibly difficult to resist the upsell of the best trim model of the vehicle we had picked, but also justified why the model we had chosen was perfect for us. He's a fantastic salesman who is incredibly supportive who goes through all the details of finding what's best for you. I recommend this Kia location highly.
