Experience at first was good. As the purchase process continued, I felt like I was annoying them not really worth their time. I did purchase, but will likely go out of town next time. 4 months after purchase got rear ended a few blocks away from the dealership. Drove there to assess the damage. Did not have my cell phone with me and they didn't even offer to let me use their phones to call Insurance. They said I should I go home and call. (too close to closing time?) Haven't had a chance to even service my vehicle there so don't know what that will be like? (side note: been over almost a month and parts are still on backorder for the damage due to the accident) So far not the best experience.

They charged me almost twice what Smith Chevrolet did for a diagnosis. 183$ for the exact same diagnosis that smith Chevrolet did 6 months ago that cost me 90$. They were repairing a vehicle for a family member, The techs took it out for a test drive and while they were driving it around it stalled and they had to tow it back to their shop again. They charged the CLIENT for that tow. which makes zero sense. They are the ones that drove the car around before it was fixed properly.

Worst experience I've ever had. Took them 7 months to deliver my truck, kept telling us different dates. Wouldn't offer any kind of compensation other than the price of 2015 truck which is what we had ordered in the first place but got the 2016 truck which had a crappy warranty on it, told us take it or leave it we can sell your truck driver for more money tomorrow ???? Good job Zimmer Wheaton, you may have got the sale but you lost 2 customers in the process and I will spread the word on how you treat your customers and from what I'm hearing, I'm not the only one you've treated badly.

We made a very bad experiance with this company while traveling with our RV we stopped here to get a noisy lever fixed. They initially offered us to fix it in two days. At the end it took them five and the bill was double than initial offered! The communication with us was very unprofessional. And to make it worth the engine is still not properly fixed. Stay away from this place, please.

When searching for a new truck to purchase, I was not set on any particular make or model so I went to nearly every dealer in town. Out of all the places and people I dealt with Zimmer Wheaton was easily by far the worst experience I had. The young sales rep I had to deal with has no business working in the customer service industry. Very poor customer service or lack thereof. Based on my experience I would not recommend bringing any business to Zimmer Wheaton if your set on GM, consider looking at other dealers.

Overall disappointing experience with service center here. 1 star given for friendly staff at time of service and the complimentary truck wash. I had $1800 worth of work done under a year ago to address squealing front end when braking. I was told this was due to bent rotors, which were replaced at the time but unfortunately this did not correct the sound. They also told me that my lug nuts were stripped, and they replaced 24 of those. I recently went to change tires over to winters and found that the nuts they installed do not fit the stock wrench stored with the jack in my cab. This is inconvenient as it does not allow me to change my tire in an emergency such as a flat. When I called the service center I was treated as if this was a non issue, and told I would have to pay for all new nuts ($85) if this situation were to be rectified. I was referred to and left a message for the service manager, awaiting a phone call in hopes they can correct the situation.

What a disappointment! I can't throw the whole business under the bus but definitely the shop staff! Family member had to have their vehicle towed to Zimmer for diagnosis on Tuesday, Wednesday we went to look at new vehicles as she was informed she would need a new engine. The sales staff was kind and helpful in regards to a new vehicle and the information we were looking for! Before leaving Zimmer we checked in with service department to get and update on old vehicle, after that we left and went home. Thursday afternoon family member went back to Zimmer to empty out her vehicle to find it wasn't locked while on Zimmer's property and her vehicle had been raided, with many things stolen. After discussing with one of the shop staff she was told "I'll give you a $100 off you new vehicle purchase but don't tell anyone!" Are you serious? Don't tell anyone? Be aware the shop staff don't do their part to keep customers vehicles or belongings safe.

We had our car towed into Zimmerman Wheaton GMC as we traveled from Surrey to Alberta. We called the Chevy dealer who said they could look at it tomorrow afternoon which would set us back, so we called the GMC dealer and they said we are busy but we will look at it right away. My feeling is that this dealer is dishonest in their sales operations. I had inquired Wednesday about a used truck in my price range that had been listed , I received a call back mid Thursday to tell me it was just sold a half hour ago and they could give me a good deal on a new one. I declined. Then some time later I notice the same truck listed. This time I had my wife call, and surprise ! they told her the same just sold a half hour ago story. I guess that's why the "used vehicle" industry continues to have a bad rap and leave a disappointing experience for most.

Brought my truck in for a service, had my truck broken into with what I can only imagine was with the key I gave them because there was zero damage to my truck. Now my center console was locked due to my money and wedding ring being in there. Stole my money and wedding ring but left 5k in tools that were in my unlocked tool box in the bed. Also had brand new carhart sweater and jacket in there wich was still there in the morning . Now my center console got cleaned out but when I went in there in the morning the console was still locked? How did it get cleaned out with zero damage and get re locked? I would definitely recommend never trusting this company with your vehicle overnight, especially because they don't even have cameras on-site. The managers don't care in the slightest, just an absolutely horrible experience.

Our truck purchased a year earlier had tire issues that went unnoticed until we purchased winter tires. The tires on the truck were smaller than that of GMC standards yet the spare was the correct size. We realize that you helping us correct this a year later, was pretty awesome!
