Not only did I not pay anything apart from my small deductible, they were accommodating, fast, and cleaned my car inside and out. Kudos to Trevor in the Service Department at Volkswagen of Kamloops. He got us back on the road again after a breakdown 100 km outside of Kamloops. He handled getting vehicle towed into shop, ordering the part overnight and all the paperwork for the warranty work. Vehicle was repaired and back in our possession the next day. He made it all easy. I would give Volkswagen kamloops a zero star. Unfortunately every single time I have brought my Jetta in for servicing there has been an issue of either poor advisors or lack of communication. I end up leaving not knowing or being properly advised as to what I just had done on my car. I feel that they take advantage of people- especially woman who don’t know a thing about cars. Your supposed to feel comfortable and confident in who is working on your vehicle and you will get quite the opposite of this place. It is quite a joke that they can’t figure out customer service in a service department. Needless to say don’t buy anything from this place unless you want to travel out of town to have your vehicle serviced. Super disappointed that kamloops finally gets a vw dealer and they are terrible. Take the trip and check out Kelowna Volkswagen as you will have a better experience and won’t waste your time or money.

I called Kamloops VW at 3minutes to 5 on a Friday afternoon after my Jetta was giving me a bit of grief. I had to travel from Valemount to Vancouver Island the next day and I was afraid of having trouble en route. Ryan in the service department reassured me it was very likely a small easy fix. He was very knowledgeable about my vehicle and said if I stopped in on my way the following day that he could help me out. I managed to get there ( Ryan told me what I needed to do to get my car started as it wasn’t starting properly) and when I arrived at the dealer he fixed me up with a new battery in my fob and sent me home with piece of mind. While in the dealer I spoke to salesman Dan who wrote up a new deal on an suv that was clear and very fair! They offered a very good price on my trade and there was zero pressure! I will be buying from them from now on! Great team there!

I won't get into all the details, other than to say I dealt with Paul the Service Manager, Terry the Dealer Owner, Mike the Assistant Sales Manager and James the Finance guy. They were easy to deal with, totally customer centric in their approach, and fair and straightforward when it came to do a deal. I'd highly recommend them and will be back to purchase another vehicle.

We bought a new 2018 Tiguan Highline from here. Brought it to the dealer service department for all its scheduled maintenance. At 45216km it stared burning oil, up to 1 litre per 2000kms. We have documented the oil consumption since it started. The service department says it’s ok to burn up to a 1/2litre per 1000kms which I believe is ridiculous. Now at 79000kms we are starting to have emission equipment problems, which I believe is from the amount of oil the car is burning. The service development just shrugs this off and I’m sure is just waiting for it to run out of warranty. This dealership hasn’t stood behind this car and the service department has been a disappointment. To be honest owning our first and only vw has been a disappointment. I would not buy another and definitely wouldn’t buy from this dealer!

Booked an appt 2 weeks ago, the issuses were once again explained. 1. Burning smell coming from park brake. 2. AC needs to be recharged. 3.Door lock does not work. Car is dropped off first thing and shuttle van brings us back to home. Shuttle driver informs us they will pick us up for return trip to pick up the car. (Tip given) *5 hours later update* 2:pm 1.Cant find the burning smell, no test drive done. 2. AC not recharged. 3. Parts not in stock. Called at 5pm for update. Nothing has been done and the shuttle driver has gone home. $300 bill for nothing done... Can you really call your selves a service dept when actually dont preform any service? Never again, seriously do yourself a favour and go somewhere else!

Great sales guy, Ryan, no pressure - showed us the used car and most features. When buying a used car - find what accessories are missing prior to purchase. Negotiating with this dealership after the sale for missing items is futile. The service department does not communicate very well, get ready for a big bill. $125 per hr and always $50 shop supplies. If you like expensive car washes, this is the place to go.

Best VW service department in Canada! My key fob was dead while I was on a roadtrip from Toronto and needed an emergency repair. I was helped immediately by the old gentleman at the service department free of charge! If I had done that in at my dealership in Toronto they would've made me wait at least an hour and charge a hefty fee, I've put up with those idiots for years now I thought it was the norm, never knew going to a dealership could be so pleasant:)

I visited VW of Kamloops interested in the 2021 Jetta GLI and I was greeted by the bright and cheerful Ashley. Throughout my entire experience, she was in constant contact with me, answering all of my questions and making sure I was always informed on what was happening next. Her infectious excitement and positive demeanor was wonderful and refreshing to deal with. It is rare to come in contact with a salesperson like Ashley, who treats you like a human being, instead of a bigger number on their next pay. On my initial visit, the GLI that was on their lot had unfortunately been sold, but Ashley got to work straight away looking around for another. After some searching, it seemed that every GLI in the province was sold, however she did not give up there. After contacting VW Canada, she was able to get a brand new GLI shipped from factory to dealership just for me to test. Needless to say, I fell in love with this brilliant sport sedan rather swiftly. Ashley and Terry then went to work helping me to prep my trade-in to get the absolute best value for it, and I was very pleased with the final price I did get for it. They also helped me get a few personal extra's included in the financing (window tint and lowering springs). A few days (and several signatures) later, I was driving home in my brand new GLI, grinning ear to ear. The excellent service didn't stop once the purchase was complete either. Terry made sure everything was in order for my lowering springs to be installed at our local VW Specialists shop, and when it came time for the tint to go in, Ashley herself took my car to have this work done. To Ashley, Terry and all of the outstanding professionals at VW Kamloops, thank you for making the purchase of my new car a pleasant, pressure-free, stress-free experience!

I bought a brand new Volkswagen jetta from kamloops from JM, the manager. It needed a new rear view mirror, I phoned JM the same day, he told me he would order it. I went out of town for 2 weeks and I have been home for 1 week. Still trying to get a mirror, they tell my dad that they don't have one, they don't know if they can get one in. That is ridiculous, you buy a $26,000 car you except to be able to see pit the mirror. Neither JM or Paul, the service manager have returned my calls. They were awesome til I bought the car, now the don't care about me, went to volkswagon canada and BBB. This is not right!!! Update: I finally got a hold of Terry Lowe, the owner, and told him of everything that happened with JM and how badly I was treated. He apologized, and he fixed the mirror. Terry has been great, which I appreciate. Terry communicated with me, which is all I wanted. Now, we can drive the car and not worry about getting into an accident. Thank you for caring and taking care of the safety issue Terry, now we are safe!!!

My 2014 Passat suffered a "catastrophic failure" on the Coquihalla on May 21, 2018 as we were heading home to Edmonton from Vancouver and my car was towed to VW of Kamloops, as that was the closest dealership. Paul and his team were fantastic to deal with, kept me informed every step of the way, answering all of my questions and then some. From the day my car arrived in Kamloops, to the day it was ready to pick up was 3 weeks. Seeing as I was driving back to Edmonton, Paul arranged for my car to be driven around Kamloops a bit to ensure all was in good working order. I made the journey to Kamloops to pick up my car and had an un-eventful drive home. While it is unlikely I will need their assistance again, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who owns a VW.
