A few weeks back, while travelling through Kamloops, my Jeep began to experience engine problems. I stopped in at Rivershore Ram Chrysler Dodge Jeep Fiat, to see if I could get a mechanic to diagnose the problem as well as, resolve it. Lanny MacLean (Service Advisor), who was both, extremely kind and thorough, advised me that it would be a short wait as the shop was very busy. I was shown a comfortable place in which to sit (it was 30 Celsius that day) as well as, staff provided water for my two dogs... which by the way, almost destroyed one of the ornate benches in front of the building. Another employee, whose name I cannot recall, went more than out of his way to help me round up my dogs and clean up the mess they created. In this day and age, and in the midst of a pandemic, it is rare to meet such selfless and genuine human beings. Within a very short time, mechanics had diagnosed the problem however, being it was late in the day, my Jeep would not be ready until the following morning. Keirron, another outstanding employee, helped me to gather my things from my Jeep, drove me to a liquor store as I was much in need of a cold beer. He also went and bought other items I needed at a local store. From there, he took me to safe and clean motel near the Jeep dealership. My Jeep was finished very early the next morning and Keirron collected me and my sometimes high maintenance dogs at the motel, and drove me back to the dealership.Words fail to express my gratitude and thankfulness that such people exist in the world as well as, such skilled mechanics. Furthermore, the cost to repair my Jeep was more than reasonable.... I have bought many vehicles in my lifetime and discovered that, once a new vehicle is purchased... it is there that the relationship falters in that many dealerships fail to provide adequate service. Rivershore Ram Chrysler Dodge Jeep Fiat is not of these types of car dealerships.... I so wish I lived in the Kamloops area for in the near future, when I plan to buy a new Jeep Wrangler, Rivershore Ram Chrysler Dodge Jeep Fiat would be my first choice, hands down. Thank you Lanny, Keirron and the fine gentlemen (whose name I cannot recall) for being such fine human beings....

Nobody likes shopping for a new vehicle because of all the changes that happen so often (finance promos, specs on vehicles from year to year, etc.). My fiancee and I had a clear idea of what was important (ultimately cost vs. value), so we popped in to do some research, which turned into an overnight test drive. I bought a Jeep about a month ago and the whole sales experience and service was perfect! The salesman answered all my questions and helped me through everything. The issues came about a week later, I called to ask about the Thule roof rack they had ordered for me. Told me it would be another week to come in. Seemed odd it would take 2 weeks but okay. When it finally came in the service desk told me they'd need the vehicle for about 3-4hrs (just to put on a rack?) and that they couldn't guarantee a courtesy vehicle for me. So I take the vehicle in at 8am and it wasn't ready till 3pm. I go to pick it up and they can't tell me anything about the rack, what they keys are for, or give me a manual. At this point I know the child isn't going to have any answers for me so I just leave. I get home and actually look at the rack... NOT A THULE. They didn't even put on what I ordered. Also the car is now making a weird high pitched sound and the rear driver side window isn't working. Not happy girl :( After 4 unreturned phone calls I go down there and all they do is say they will be looking into it. They should have just taken my vehicle, given me one to drive, and fixed what they incredibly f*cked up! WORST. So glad they didn't get their hand on my engine, will be servicing my vehicle elsewhere in the future.

My personal preference is for a less managed visit, but it seems efficient on their end. However, they did bring up - without any introduction or explanation - a vehicle $45,000 more than what we test drove. Not sure what that was all about.

Horrible service, all they care about is your money. Our jeep (2015) with 75k on it died last year, had it towed here, could not look at it for 3 days at least and had no courtesy vehicle for use. Had to tow it down the street to kamloops dodge. Turned out blown engine, covered under warranty although they (dodge) tried to get out of it of course. 2 days short of 4 MONTHS to have repaired. Only come here for oil changes ( decent service ) otherwise done with Dodge, their products and their service.

Amazing service!! Adam Kostiuk and the service team went above and beyond to get us back on the road. We were driving back from vacation when our truck broke down at 2am in Kamloops, 600kms from home. Early the next morning, after sleeping in the truck I limped the truck to the dealership. We were extra early, but the doors were open and the service team greeted us with a smile. I explained that we were stranded and my daughter starts school the next day and we really needed help getting home. Even though they had a full day, Adam had us booked-in and in line to be assessed right away while we warmed up in their customer lounge. Knight’s free shuttle took us to somewhere we could get some breakfast and relax while they worked on the truck. I went specifically for an oil change, the 2 young guys working there were great, not only were they friendly and professional, they checked over my entire truck and kept me informed the entire time. The only downside was that the oil change deal of $99 was only for gas models only, although I couldn't find that anywhere in the fine print, but that had nothing to do with the guys working there. Good purchase experience. Great Service Center! Bought a brand new Jeep Cherokee in December 2018 and they have been very good at utilizing as much of the warranty as they can for us to keep it in good shape (wheel alignments etc). Only part that kinda left a bad taste in our mouth was being told something was being “thrown in,” the impression of that being it would be free. Found out later we were charged for it, and when I tried to get clarification on the few hundred dollar charge (can’t remember the exact amount now) I was told “we have been completely transparent” and the lady got a little offended. It was the end of a long day so I just figured I wasn’t thinking straight and moved on. The next day looking at the papers again I realized what had happened. Its a shame that happened cause we would have happily paid for the add on, just wish it was a little more clear. It was our first new vehicle purchase so lesson learned and will be more vigilant next time. All in all it was and has continued to be a good experience dealing with them and we will likely purchase future vehicles here. Assuming Jeep makes some electric vehicles by then. The increased torque from electric drive trains makes them a perfect fit, but I digress.

Yesterday I took my car in for a piece of mind inspection and oil change. It was the first time I have been to this dealership and found the experience to be first class and enjoyable. I had excellent service with Lanny. He was very polite, knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns. Lanny was very obliging when I had to change the time because of other commitments. The technician Tyson gave a good description of what the AC was doing and his recommendations for fixing it. The inside of my car was left clean.(no footprints) Tyson checked everything I asked for and fixed the problem with the AC. I certainly will be going back to this dealership for any service or dealings and highly recommend them.
