I had a wonderful customer service experience with red sea auto. Frank, the manager was really helpful with me getting my car, more like my first car. I know I have not had it for up to a month but just want to recommend the great customer service given. He went above and beyond to assist me in getting my insurance and all since am a new driver. I have been enjoying the car since then and will come back after some months to give another review about the car. The only thing I have notice is the pressure tire on the dash board keeps flashing but he has told me not to worry about it and I have put in more air already on the tires. Hopefully, it is not a big deal. Above all, excellent service, will greatly recommend.

My boyfriend purchased a truck from here 4 years ago and I decided to upgrade from a car to a suv this year. This place is a little gem. Looks like a old house on the dealership that could use some updates but this family does everything they can to make sure you are happy with your purchase. I couldn't be happier with my purchase I drove in from Vancouver to purchase this vehicle and they had all paperwork done up when I arrived with a gas tank full. I just came in signed and went to insurance.

We went to 6 different dealerships in kamloops. Out of all the dealerships this one was the only one that listen to my needs. I got a carfax and safety inspection check. I left a deposit on a vehicle and arrange for pick up a week later. I ended up wanting to get a second opinion at a mechanical shop for ease of mind buying used. I booked the car in to the ford dealership and red sea auto was happy to drop it off for me since I live outside of kamloops. The mechanic shop called and confirmed the vehicle was in really good condition. I am really happy with this purchase and all my friends are surprised of the great deal I got. drove in from out of town to purchase from these guys! I got updated txt videos of the car I was interested in so I knew exactly what I was purchasing. They sent me carproof and inspection directly to my cell phone. They gave me a better deal then I could find else were and took my drive into consideration. Showed up they had the paperwork all filled out with my car full of gas. I took it for a test drive it was exactly as described. I went to some of the newer dealerships and felt pressured to go above my budget so I decided to check out some of the used dealerships. I checked out most of them out and Red sea auto was one of the first places I went. I assured them that I was shopping around and was not going to purchase right away. The salesmen actually encouraged me to check out the other places which I thought was odd but it made sense after. The sales people at the other dealership were aggressive and not willing to go down much in price. Frank right away told me he could give me a deal and would work with my budget. After speaking to some of the other dealership sales reps I knew where I felt comfortable purchasing from. I highly recommend checking this place out and to compare go to the other dealerships nearby. They listen to my needs and got me in a like new SUV. thank you and keep doing what you are doing.

I purchased my first vehicle from Red Sea Auto about 3 years ago. I got in a bad accident and my car was written off. I got more then what I paid for the vehicle! I was in a state of euphoria when i first encountered red sea autos. i even gave them good reviews on this forum thinking that they were prospectively gonna be good business enterprise that i was gonna have a good and problem free relationship with. i leased a 2011 kia forte from them on the 25th of August 2017 and afterwards, what i thought was to be a beginning of a good life where i was to own a problem free reliable sedan quickly turned into a nightmare just two months after purchase. the sticker price of the vehicle was $8000, i made a down-payment of 5k which includes the trade-in value of my 2001 corolla and i financed the remaining $3000 with interest of $3,096 making my total debt to them be $6,096. As per the loan agreement, i was to be making a $300 monthly installmental payment to them which i did for the following 6months without any issues. My major problems started to occur 2 months into the transaction, i noticed that my gear wasn't downshifting properly, the car always jerked once it downshifts from 6 to gear 5. After conducting a pre-winter service check, Great Canadian oil change discovered that my transmission fluid was stack black and worn out; i did a transmission flush at Axel's Garage which cost me $250. 4 months down the line, i replaced my a/c compressor at AAMCO which cost me almost a $1000 including labour cost and 6months down the line after undergoing routine oil change at every 4000km and servicing at Great Canadian Oil Change, my engine developed a rod knock. kindly note that the warranty red sea offered me at the point of sale was useless bcos it couldnt take care of all these repairs. I went to Red Sea Auto, spoke with Frank, a so called Kelly who is their financial analyst(who i believe isnt real but infact being impersdonated by Frank's mum) and Franks' mom Candace herself who threatened to call the police on me because i demanded good customer service, alleging that i was harrasing them, i requested for them to replace the engine for me, they refused saying that it was my problem that i had used the car for six months. After alot of phionecalls and visits to their dealership bcos they never returned my calls or requests, they offered to change my engine and add the cost of both labouyr and engine replacement to my outsanding debt. this was almost $3000 additional debt to my loan. I pleaded with them that i am just a student with a part time pizza delivery job that, coupled with my student loans and other expenses such as rent and previous car maintenence cost of almost $2000, that i cant afford any additional debt. they said there was nothing they could do for me. I almost went to see a lawyer to plead my case and demand for compensation for a bad customer service because the truth of the matter is that Red Sea Autos sells Lemon Cars and even a friemd whom i recommended to them bought a 2007 hyundai accent and after just a month had to spend almost $2000 to change his timing belt. Dear future car buyers, i understand that buying a used car comes with certian risk but for the sake of peace of mind and value for money, do not patronise Red Sea Autos because you will sacrifice your peace of mind and the opportunity to drive home a good and reliable vehicle if you do any business with RED SEA AUTOS. After doing some repossession law research, I discovered that the Province of BC runs a Seize or Sue Law. i therefore voluntarily returned the car to them because as a student and immigrant in Kamloops, i didnt have time for any litigation or court case so i decided to leave the matter to God and for Karma to take its course. I just bought a 2006 Toyota camry, paid cash for it and i ve been at peace ever since. There are lots of reliable car dealers in kamloops but RED SEA AUTOS isnt one of them. Worst customer service ever! If you want to buy yourself a problem and you want to risk your life by driving an unsafe car, buy it from RED SEA AUTO LTD. I bought a Kia Rio 2016 from RED SEA AUTO LTD with only 27000 km. The car still had KIA’s warranty based on the year and odometer (One of the main reasons why I bought this car). The first day I drove it, I noticed a sound coming from the right front tire. I Talked to Frank (Seller/Owner) about this issue, and he took it with a mechanic behind the lot. They told me that the car had been fixed. After a few days, the car still had the same noise, and I took the car back to Frank again. Frank told me he took the car to another place and get them to replace a part that was damaged. The noise apparently disappeared. After a few months I drove it on an unpaved road and I noticed that the sound was still there, One month ago, I took the car to put the winter tires on, and they advised me that the car had excessive play on the right front tire. After that, I took the car to KIA’s dealership for an inspection. The service advisor at KIA told me that they needed to replace the steering rack and outer tie rod end. They told me that the car still had KIA’s warranty because of the low km and model, however, the warranty would not cover my car because, I quote: “A third party has tried to zap strap the torn boot back together unsuccessfully”. The most shocking part is that the service advisor told me that the car was unsafe to drive. I have been dealing with Kelly from RED SEA AUTO LT. for one month now, I have been trying to get them to take responsibility and fix the car because the car had this problem since the day I bought it, and now, KIA won´t cover the repair. I have sent several emails, text messages, and phone calls, Kelly has been answering the phone but not the email or messages. I have not heard from Frank since the day I bought the car. At this time RED SEA AUTO LTD. Has not solved my problem, and after one month I do not expect them to take responsibility because they do not answer my emails or call me back. The worst part is that I have been driving a car that is unsafe. I have been risking my life without knowing that the car had this problem.

I recently bought a Jeep from here. The initial visit there was no pressure and a test drive was possible immediately. I knew what I was there for and he didn't try to talk the vehicle up or interest me in something more expensive. We made a mutual agreement on purchase that I was happy with and feel was fair for both of us. We had agreed upon who would complete minor repairs upon sale. They held up their end of deal. Even after the purchase I found a few more minor repairs needing attention. Most places would tell you to worry about it yourself. Not red sea. Thy said they would cover the more expensive repair needed, and I could cover the few minor ones. (Worked out about 60/40 in my favour). One month later vehicle is running great and I've had it over all 3 major mountain passes in the area. I'm very happy so far and recommend this place. I will definateley purchase my next vehicle from here in the near future.

They checked every single detail to make sure it was safe and looked like new. They were very honest and effective, they helped us finding our perfect car within our price range. ALL IN 4 MONTHS! -Check Engine light flashing while hesitating on excelleration. -Check engine on solid -RPM drops while using power windows. -RPM too low while idle -Running rich, fuel leaking into oil 2008 Equinox.... $14,500... Nothing but problems.... DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

I had been looking around for a new car, since my old one was literally on its last legs and about to break.. I even went as far as kelowna, and the lower mainland.. each of the other 3 dealers I met with, were trying to put me in vehicles that I didn't even like, and the payments were going to be extremely high. I knew I didn't have amazing credit, so I thought my options were very limited.. And I was getting taken advantage of, since I don't really know much about cars.. Then I stumbled upon Red Sea Auto, and from the very first call, talking with Frank, he was so nice and very informative. We decided to start the process, and I came down to the dealer to test drive my new car. They're were very minor things, like a windshield replacement as well as a manufacturer's recall. Frank went out of his way to very quickly get these things taken care of for me. Pretty much the whole experience was good, they were all extremely happy, helpful, and friendly. They even picked me up from me house on the day I went to go sign all the paperwork, and once that was all taken care of, Frank filled my gas tank and I was on my way :) I think what separates them from all the other places, is that they're not working on commission, so there really didn't feel like there was any pressure to get anything from them.. unlike a few other places I had gone to.. Over all, this was a great first experience for me, and I absolutely love my new car! My worst experience ever with this agent ! Would give a good price for the cars but wont let the customer know about the defects in the car in detail. The women working there on the desk does not have any idea about whats going on! You buy the car and u get to know exactly , why you got it for a lower price beacuse u have to spend those 1000$ for repairs !
