I have never had a worse experience getting my truck services. I would not recommend this dealership for any service. I gave instructions to call before doing any work. I authorized an oil change, air filter, and windshield wipers. I was having problems with my heater, one day it would work, and then next day it wouldn't. When they called me back I was notified that I was being charged for a diagnostic charge, they were going to have to program my doors (which I found a print out on how to do myself off of the internet, as well as approximately $300.00 to have a thermostat installed. I called a local shop and they said they could do it for $120.00. I don't mind paying for a service, but this was robbery.

I would give them negative 5 star if option available. I went to change differential oil change, o2 sensor change and lamp out light. They did not fix lamp out light, when came home it came back. I have to take it back. The real problem was one of the three wires was loose but they originally charged me for changing bulb. Worse part was after few weeks my light for ABS came on. I went to other mechanic and found the differential oil was black and gooey. I talked to Kal, Service Manager. He asked me to provide receipt for differential oil change before the one they changed. Trying to avoid customer complaint. Differential oil can't turn black within one month period or less than 1k km on it after changing oil. I m worried about o2 sensor as well now. I don't know if they really changed o2 sensor or not. Never take your vehicle for service at this place. BREACH OF TRUST.

Because this is a commuter vehicle it has high mileage but it gets serviced several times a year. I have never been charged this much for a service!

Bought my truck brand new from them ~5 years ago. My truck actually came spray painted through the railcar it was being transported in and the white paint job was speckled black and orange upon arrival. Detailers worked their magic and the paint looked better than factory when they were done. At half the kilometers of my warranty (53k out of 100k), but 2 months over the allotted time (5 years and 2 months), a super expensive part (or so I thought) went on my turbo. Chrysler support agents in a nice way laughed at me and told me to beat it and it was my problem now after buying a $93k truck. The service manager offered to let me use my own part I sourced for 1/10 the price of Chrysler's price and even offered me a 10% discount on shop rate. I didn't take them up on the discounted shop rate as these guys deserve the money they charge. Truck runs fantastic now, like it should have for the next 5 years anyway. I wish I could somehow rate Fiat Chrysler a -10 stars and these guys 5 in the same review. No wonder Chrysler needed a bailout 10 years ago with the way they treat their customers. You should be thankful local people try and do damage control for your terrible pricing / policies. Thanks Rod / Jason / Diesel Steve!

My experience with Kamloops dodge over the years has been great. Most recently I went in with a recall issue that FCA Canada was not making good on. I had called FCA customer service numerous times with zero help or solutions to rectify my issue. One day after talking to Marylin and Rob in service and explaining my situation they went to work for me. FOR ME! not for FCA! This was amazing and what a change of pace. Not allot of companies seem to look after the customer. They look after the Big guy with the deep pockets. Marylin and Rob went the extra mile to understand my issue. Called to book a multi point inspection the staff were very friendly and professional. Unfortunately on the short notice were unable to fit us in for a multi point inspection. As we have reached the near end of our Gold warranty package. Hoping they fit us in sometime this week and fix/replace any items needing replacement under the warranty policy. Had an 8:30 am appointment, to do some recalls (programming) and fix an exhaust leak in the passenger-side manifold (2.5 hr job, according to their book) They called me @ 4:30 telling me they just finished. Traffic was bad, so it took me nearly a half hour to get there. Had it have taken me any longer to get there, they would have closed, and I wouldn't have been able to get my truck back. The guy in front of me at the service counter didn't have an appointment, but was a little belligerent. So they worked on his truck immediately. What's the point in making an appointment in the morning(for a 3 hour job) if they don't even start working on the vehicle until 1:30 pm?!

This experience was very good! Jasmine even offered to drive out to our place on Nicola Lake so we could take a Gladiator for a test drive... now that’s outstanding! Everyone was very friendly and our dog Lennox was welcomed into the dealership where it was cooler to hangout. The only complaint we have is the time it took to complete the deal but given how busy everyone was, it’s understandable.

Dealership was clean but lacked any stock of heavier trucks to look at much less test drive. A newer sale person was doing his"thing" telling me Dodge was the only one making a true Diesel engines and the other two used converted gas engines. This is clearly untrue and is quite sad to see happen in an arena selling $100k trucks. Product knowledge and accuracy is clearly not up to par. He is learning from another "older" salesman..Time to retrain the force, that info is nearly 30years old, your potential clients deserve better.

Absolutely horrible experience there. We stated from the beginning that we were only looking around to get a feel first, and we also had a wedding later that day that we told them about and they still continued to waste our time. Our dealer began to push us into paperwork and after we said no, he then got the manager over to do the same. We ended up being late to the wedding and doing the credit check while fighting to get our keys back from them. I would never recommend these people to anybody after such a “sale oriented” experience.

this dealership has got to have some of the worst time management in their service department that I have ever dealt with. their scheduling of appointments is horrendous. for most people, we don’t have the luxury of having the whole day off work to get our vehicle serviced and we book appointments accordingly; however, this dealership does not schedule accordingly or get vehicles in on time, consequently screwing up customers days and leaving them without a vehicle for an extended, unexpected amount of time. completely dissatisfied with my experiences here as this happens often and they seem to have no respect for others time. the standards of appointment times being met and customers being without their vehicle with the least amount of time possible is not met here. so if you have all day to wait around, then this is the place to go!

I had just replaced a coil pack on my Dodge Caravan in March, but 2 months later that part became faulty when I was out of town and had to get it replaced again with another coil pack, in Vancouver! I was out another $320 so I decided to ask Kamloops Dodge if they could go to Lordco and have them reinburse me. I usually don't write reviews, however in this case I need too. I went to this dealership August 25, 2015 I'm 50 years old and have been to many in my life...Many I have not liked for various reasons. This dealership is totally different. I live a 3 hour drive from Kamloops so why did I go there...Being at a far distance I first started with emails. My emails were answered asap all my concerns and questions were answered so I made the trip up there...Now this dealership was not only honest about the special vehicle I wanted but it was in Mint condition far above any of my expectations.... I was there no longer than a hour test drive and out the door with my vehicle. I was treated like family not often that happens anymore. I must say Devon my salesman was not only helpful but went out of his way to make sure I had a great experience. Devon thank you. I went there to buy a rare late model Jeep that I have been searching for over 1 year now. I must say it looks great in my parking at home. Oh talk about a class act, Devon handed me a new Jeep cap and said here congratulations. The hat is worth 30.00 I was impressed he didn't have to do it as the deal was already done but it just goes to show the Class this dealership has.... Also Thank you to Derek Manager for sales who I emailed first about this vehicle... Who not only answered my questions fast within hours of my email he also introduced to me Devon. Sorry long winded review....lol...If your looking for a vehicle or special type of a vehicle I strongly recommend Kamloops Chrysler if you want a GREAT price GREAT service and Extremely fast transaction.... I bought a preowned truck a 2014. All I can say is to make sure you have the vehicle inspected by a third party. Pay attention to the overall vehicle interior and exterior. Make sure to buy the warranty for the 3500 dollars because you will be back with problems. I was back with big problems within the first 5k of having the truck- under 2 months. The staff is nice enough, professional. The service department is very thorough, they give you an inspection sheet for each service milestone advising to future repairs/maintenance requirements.

Ive been to 9 dealerships across 3 provinces in the last 5 years and I have to give a shout out to Kamloops Dodge and their service department. Ive been to them twice for warrenty work. Lanny MacLean has been my advisor both times. Hes very friendly and helpful and makes the whole experience of having a vehicle in for work easy and almost enjoyable. He really does what ever it takes to treat his customers the best he can. Dropped my truck off in the morning and it was done by 11am. On top of the quick turn around they also washed my truck. Worst dealership I have dealt with. Don't care once you drive off the lot. At this point I would not purchase a vehicle here again and would avoid bringing a vehicle here for service. After spending $50,000 on a vehicle here, I never got the impression that I was a valued customer and no effort was made to ensure I would buy from them again. My vehicle has an issue with the touchless tailgate and it took 6 appointments before it would work again. Some of this was valid (needing to order parts) but other times were their fault. I explained that every visit meant I had to take time off work and drive into Kamloops. They offered a free detail to make up for this. On my last appointment they said they would do the detail so I waited a few extra hours for my car and when I got back I thought they didn't even detail it apart from washing the exterior. Even simple things like vacuuming pile of dirt in the trunk or spilled drink in the cup holder weren't touched. Even though it was free it was a waste of my time. I tried reaching out to the dealership to bring this up a month ago and haven't heard back. Apart from some friendly service employees, this dealership does nothing to earn a sale. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

These folks saved the day for us...literally. In Kamloops from the coast on business for the day, we discovered that we'd blown a rear differential pinion gear seal (from drive shaft) in our truck. We headed to Rivershore Dodge who told us that they might be able to fit us in the next day (Saturday). After 20 minutes of further pressing about parts, courtesy cars etc., they indicated that Kamloops Dodge might be able to help us immediately. We rushed over to Kamloops Dodge who as efficient and calm as anything, told us that they could get it done. With dog in hand we waited in their lounge and in short time got the word that all was good and that we would be on our way by 4:30 pm. The cost was more than reasonable, the service great and the staff (both service and sale) were absolutely awesome! We really can't say how grateful we are that they were able to help us out. Even after letting him know that he was competing against other Jeep dealers he went above and beyond. Cut me a great deal and wasn't pushy and made all the information available to me that I had asked for. Delivered as promised. Upon delivery there were a couple of things that weren't 100% perfect so he made sure to fix them up for me. And the finance guy Adam was also great. Explained everything perfectly and did his best to make sure that I got the best deal and proper protection for my vehicle. Didn't try to upset me on warranty or anything. Never deal there again. I purchased a near new p/u there in 2019. There was no issue with the purchase but what came after. The vehicle still had remaining warranty which would be transferred over to me as well as the sales manager and the then finance person talked me into purchasing a reduced rate extended warranty . Later, while having some warranty work done found out they had not transferred my warranty over and never set up the extended warranty. After 6 months of chasing them and dozens of phone calls and emails to which they admitted they owed me a refund, I have not heard a word. Will have to pursue legal action at this time. Will end up costing them 5 times as much.

The finance manager worked so hard to help me with my less than perfect credit to make payments work. They have the worst service in town. I went in for a routine oil change after booking an appointment the day before over the phone and they did not have me in the schedule. Annoyed that I woke up early to get my car in he said that he could get it done by 1pm (it was 9:00am) I said that I would prefer to book one the next day. He told me to bring my vehicle in at 10:00am. I agreed and asked "so it will be done by approx 11am? The guy behind the service desk replies with "well no we have another appointment at 10am and only have one guy working. Logically I was like that's fine could l book for 11am then. He refused and insist I bring my car in at 10am.. So the next day I brought my car in 5 minutes before 10 and didn't leave the dealership with an oil change(it was free under warranty) until 1230pm... NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. Worse service and extremely rude management and finance team.

They will say they’ll take care of it after signing and then drag their feet and then do a terrible job. For example, fan made clicking noise as it was hitting the cabin air filter, their fix was to just remove the cabin air filter... Mr Lube tech fixed the issue in 30 seconds and installed a new cabin air filter with no ticking... Stereotypical used car salesmen.

I drove 45 minutes to make my 7:30AM appointment, only to be told the part was on back order. A very sincere thank you to your service team for getting our Jeep in for repairs on very short notice. Rod, Natalia, and Curtis were all fantastic to deal with. We reside in Nakusp, and were in Kamloops for Christmas shopping, etc. Our Jeep had a loud squealing noise coming from the rear left, and we were very concerned. Turned out to be a small rock lodged between the backing plate and brake disc, but it could have been much worse. Peace of mind to have it checked. Also thank you to Tim, your courtesy driver. The sunroof on our Jeep Cherokee exploded Dec 22 just outside of Kamloops as we were driving from Mission BC to Edmonton, AB for Christmas (our Jeep was not bought at this dealership). We made an unexpected stop however, at this dealership, where the service department tried to find us a window, without success. However, they fit us in almost immediately and made us a temporary cover totally sealed with plastic, as we were advised by ICBC our sunroof would have to get fixed back in BC in Jan 2019 when home. The entire staff at this dealership were so pleasant and accommodating, as we spent a couple hours waiting. This was the first day of our 11 day trip through the mountains and winter conditions and were very appreciative of their excellent customer service and would highly recommend them. We thank you all again for helping make our Christmas adventure a pleasant one, due to unforeseen circumstances.

Have never had such a bad experience trying to buy a truck. The manager told us we were getting new tires on the truck and when we came back for it apparently he was talking about the wrong truck so we were already put off by that but he was so rude to us about it after he was the one that made the mistake that we just left without it. We were return customers because we had good service there in the past but this experience has made us never want to go back.

I took my Jeep in to have my window, which was not working, checked. I was told that I not only needed a regulator assembly but a new window. The cost would be between $700 & $1,000 for the one window. Took my Jeep into the glass repair place in Lillooet yesterday and was told otherwise. My driver window stopped working as well and was told that to repair BOTH windows it would cost me about $650. How dishonest is that?

We were very lucky to have Stan in the service dept take our vehicle in on short notice, on a Saturday no less, with a #2 cylinder misfire. I tried my regular shop but they couldn't do it until next week. I phoned Stan and he said to leave the vehicle with him and he'll have his mechanic look at. They diagnosed the problem, called me to confirm it was ok to proceed with the job, and had a new coil pack put in, including a set of new spark blug wires installed that I had already bought at Lordco that was sitting in my back seat. There might be someone as good as you guys, but definitely no one better! Thanks to Stan and his team that day, and thank you Kamloops Dodge! ????????

Me and my boyfriend previously bought our first jeep there and had a great experience with Naomi and John Misera. This time however wasn't as good, we got a call and came in to look around and just get a feeling of the options without fully wanting to buy anything. Jake was good, nice to talk to, new our guidelines for if we were going to buy, and wasn't pushy. When it seemed that we didn't like the number the sales manager or whoever's he was comes over to look at the number that we are looking at and have calculated (boyfriend has experience in management and sales) and then decides that his pushing isn't getting anywhere with us. The next guy comes over to argue with my boyfriend about the numbers and end up just telling him to initial that paper and buy the car. We left before another person could try to bully us into the sale. That was not a good way to make a sale and I don't think we will be going back.

While visiting Kamloops from California our "low tire pressure" light came on, drove in twice (9/25 and 10/3)to your Service Dept and Austin checked tire pressure., which seemed fine, determined the flashing light may mean the sensor needed to be re-set. When on visit in 2018 the same thing happened and your Service Dept. checked air pressure. We stay at the motel next door and it was so convenient. We thank you so much for reassuring us the tires were ok for our long trip. We had a safe trip home, thanks to you. By the way, we missed seeing the Canadian flag flying. The overpriced and inconvenience , long waiting time , changing their minds on what the issue was 4 times and after spending 4000$ with less than 400km on the van after they “fixed” it the van started doing the exact same thing. I left multiple messages for the owner who never gave us any kind of a break on the cost of the repair. The warranty was barley up and and was 25,000 km under but they didn’t honour it . After just speaking with the owner Guy he basically said if you don’t trust us go somewhere else. Rude , overpriced , not helpful , and after dealing with vehicles for 30 years this was the worst decision in my life and will never recommend them to anyone . Heartbroken , and now completely broke with a broken van still. Never recommend this dealership .

My Jeep overheated in the summer so I brought it in to the service department assuming there was a leak in my rad. They said it was simply a loose seal on the rad cap which I felt was strange because there was no sign of coolant leaking from it. My vehicle was still under warranty at this time. Fast forward to now it is still leaking coolant and I bring it back in (now my warranty is 2 months up) and coincidently this must be a “new leak”. When I had called booking the appointment for today they said they wouldn’t charge me since I had brought it in already for the same problem and then they still tried to charge me. The man I dealt with I believe his name is Stan was rude and treated me like I knew nothing and I will definitely not be going back.

When my daughter's car started acting up recently they were quick too get it in and start the diagnosis immediately. Words cannot describe how thankful I am. Rewind a few years ago, Me and my girlfriend had an unreliable Dodge Dart that we purchased new from another Jeep dealer in town. (Not this one!) Unsatisfied with the Dart we opted to trade it in for a new Jeep Compass. Upgrading to the SUV/Crossover was a really nice change and it suited our needs. A few years & 57,608 kilometres later we’re having the ETC light come on indicating something is wrong with the Jeep, accompanied by poor shifting and power loss. So we go to our old dealership. They say we need a new throttle body and slap a $885 bill in our face with a swift ‘sorry’ that our Jeep is only 4 months out of warranty and there is nothing they can do. Okay, now for the good ;) Soo feeling down, and pretty hopeless as me and my girlfriend just decided to envoke on renting our first apartment together, I decided to call Ross, He’s a ‘Kamloops Dodge Chrysler Jeep’ salesmen (And I highly recommend working with him) Ross has always been a stand up guy from helping me test out the newest Dodge Charger to always letting me know about all the new inventory coming in. I told Ross about my situation and my dissatisfaction with the other dealership and he quickly said to calm myself and that he could help. Nervous but in a sticky situation I left it in his hands, Your hands. He had James call me. Now if you want to talk about customer service James sets a bar that most only can wish to achieve. James gives me a ring and right away I know I’m in good hands. He asked about the situation with the old dealership and was very straight up and honest that I wasn’t getting a fair deal. He told me to wait a day and he’d have some answers for me. Next morning I get a call from James with more than better news. You guys worked MAGIC! You were able to help lower the cost of the fix. You got me into the shop sooner so I can be on the road. AND to top it all off you went farther than I could ask, you put me in the good will program so it would lower the cost since I’m only 4 months out of warranty. Needless to say, this is the only place I buy or service my cars now. You have no idea how greatful I am to you all. I really mean that. Thank you.
