Her salesperson, Cole Landrie, was very knowledgeable, helpful, very polite, willing to answer any questions or concerns, and very accommodating. Cole Landrie was not pushy, in fact he was very patient. When she brought any of her concerns to Cole Landrie, he addressed them right away (i.e. remote control starter, rock chip in windshield, etc.). She will 100% recommend Cole Landrie at Kamloops Ford Lincoln to her friends and family. Her overall experience of buying her new/used vehicle was fast and convenient. Very enjoyable experience purchasing this used Nissan Armada at Kamloops Ford Lincoln. Josh and Gord were laid back and took care of us easy peasy. Josh went the extra mile with our difficult to remove license plates, loading up a set of giant winter tires (on dope rims) and finding my parking pass I left in my old trade-in. Will keep these folks in mind into years when shopping for my "baller" vehicle and eyeballing that extended length Lincoln Navigator.

I went in to this shop today to have a door handle on my 2009 focus replaced. They had to order in the part which cost 66$, no problem. I was told the procedure would take an hour, maybe slightly more. With an hour or so of labour costs my total should have been about 200$. After half an hour they told me I needed to purchase an additional part that they happened to have in shop costing 77$. I confirmed with them that the procedure should still only take slightly more than an hour. After nearly 3 hours I was told it was finished. With a total labour cost of 340$ and a grand total of 567$! Walking in today I thought I would be spending around 200$ not more than a weeks pay working a 9-5. I do not think the customer should be paying for a slow working/inexperienced mechanic. If I had known they would have taken so long I would have taken my business elsewhere and saved myself money and time. EDIT: I just received a call from Shane, he saw my review and decided to refund the amount above my quote. You know it’s one thing to acknowledge a mistake, but it really says something when you take responsibility and make changes to fix it. I’ve changed my rating to 5stars. I just gained a lot of respect for these folks today. Thanks again Shane.

There is a reason why I have bought 3 vehicles from Kamloops Ford Lincoln. This time I dealt with Cole Landrie. It took some haggling, but with some great work by Cole I got into my new to me Dodge 3500. Jeff the sales manager helped with getting me the trade price I was looking for. Corey Bacon in financing was great to deal with and very helpful and understanding. I can be hard to deal with when it comes to buying a new vehicle, but the staff at Kamloops Ford are always professional and a joy to deal with. The car is great, and the trade-in value on my vehicle certainly helped. The sales rep, Rick, was pleasant and knowledgeable and we moved quickly through the pricing process. Once I got to the financing department, that moved very quickly too... and I felt a bit rushed. I ended up spending more on warranty and anti-rust/paint protection than I did on the car. The next day I went back to remove the add-on's and just keep the mechanical warranty (which I still think is a bit steep). More wheeling and dealing, price cuts, "what if we do this, what if we do that" sales pitches, etc. Eventually they got something and I got something as well... but it wasn't a particularly enjoyable part of the process. I would deal with Kamloops Ford again, but I'll make sure I take the time to build/research warranty options into my overall cost.

I also love that they text you to remind you of your appointment dates and times. They go out of their way to ensure you are happy with the service they provide. They were also AMAZING with following up after the absolutely ridiculous service described below by a different location. On the other hand, I would recommend NEVER using Dearborn Ford. I received zero customer service from them on two separate occasions. The actual work they did on my vehicle was sub-par and screws were not tightened, my battery cover is still missing etc. On the second occasion, my car was never even serviced. It sat at the Dearborn Ford dealership all day long, parked directly in front of the parts and service entrance. I was never phoned when I 'failed to show up' for my appointment. No apology was issued. No attempt to right the issue. I was simply told I would need to rebook...for 2 weeks later. I tried to contact the service manager by phone 3 times, but he was in meetings and did not take messages. I attempted to email the service manager twice, after being given his information, but my email was returned as undelivered both times. I gave up and proceeded to Kamloops Ford Lincoln. The difference between these two locations is like night and day! Choose Kamloops Ford Lincoln EVERY time!!!

We recently had the pleasure of completing a used vehicle purchase from Cole Landrie at this dealership. He and all of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. We were shopping online one evening. Two staff members, including Cole, promptly responded with honest answers to questions and concerns we had both that evening and in the early morning before the dealership opened. As out of town buyers we drove over three hours to the dealership. The vehicle we purchased was a 2014. The dealership had done a very impressive job of detailing the vehicle. It looked and drove like nearly new. We made a fair offer, a little less than asking, and explained we didn't wish to drive home in the dark over the winter roads. Cole was so helpful and efficient we were in and out of the dealership in less than three hours. His only mistake was saying the dealership was dog friendly. Our dachshund was fine until one staff member came within her personal space boundary of one hundred meters and he discovered that the showroom made a great echo chamber for her barking.

While trying to get home with our 2020 F350 (7.3 Godzilla gas motor) we were experiencing CDI lead failure which turned out to be problematic in these engines in the first year of production. Caused from heat damage by heat soaked exhaust manifolds. Ford was aware of this problem in September 2020 and did not do an active recall but instead opted to change any that failed subsequent to warranty. Normally this wouldn't be an issue. The issue was trying to find the leads required to complete the fix. The availability being complicated by the COVID slowdowns in the production of said parts. Let me frame this further... We were on the way home from salmon fishing on Vancouver Island with our 27 ft offshore fishing boat and carrying a camper. Inside said camper was our salmon... that we had frozen. You can understand that we were very worried about that, never-mind the heatwave that was active in the area. We couldn't get a hotel room nor a campsite... couldn't drive our truck and effectively had no place to go. Due to a huge import of fire fighters in the area everything was book solid. Of course we had roadside insurance through our new truck policy but we were not in a position to leave our unit. Kamloops Ford... thank you!! Thank you for inviting us to stay on your lot and supplying us with a car. Thank you for working tirelessly to find the parts needed and inviting us into your business while we were there waiting. Rachelle, you were absolutely brilliant in your handling of this situation. By taking control of finding parts and having them shipped expeditiously the problem would be solved in short order. When parts were lost by the shipping company (it happens...) an alternate plan was reached with the help of Rachelle and Thomas (one of the many talented mechanics). Thomas suggested a modification which not only got us on the way but also got us home... but it didn't have to... let me explain... The service manager from Pincher Creek got in his vehicle and was driving to meet us with the proper parts that had been lost by the shipping company. We met him in Golden BC where we got the parts but opted to drive on Thomas' modification as it was felt it was working very well. We buy a new truck every two years and it is always a Ford... ALWAYS!! Yes they can have issues as everything man made can and does... But the backing from Ford is what keeps us in this family. As we departed Kamloops Ford Lincoln I reflected on how in a short time we were supported by caring people who were dedicated to solving our problem. Our fish made it home frozen solid still... And our truck was brought back to manufacturers specifications. Thanks again Kamloops Ford Lincoln, Rachelle, Thomas and the rest of the team. We will not forget your kindness!
