We bought our son a 2005 Honda Civic from Gary. The car was in great shape, and priced reasonably. We had been looking for a vehicle for a couple of weeks prior, but none of the other used dealerships gave us that same sense of honesty, of having our best interests at heart. When we left there, we were confident our son had a safe, reliable vehicle. Three days after we bought the car, our son went off the road. He cause extensive damage to the car! It was really unfortunate. In order to not make a claim for a 17 year old boy whose insurance is already high, we paid out of pocket for the repairs. Chris went above and beyond to bring the car back to safe working condition, it wasn't even evident that the car had been in an accident! Chris even took the time to speak with our son about priorities and safety, which was much appreciated. I would certainly purchase another vehicle from County Auto. I meant to write this review earlier: I purchased a Toyota Tacoma from country auto sales and I have to say it was quite possibly one of the best car dealerships I have ever come across (I’ve worked in the automobile industry). Gary was just such a delight to work with. He wasn’t pushy at all and extremely accommodating - which makes sense because they are a quality business and stand behind their vehicles, so they don’t need to try hard to sell. Integrity is key and not only did I have a great experience myself, but I also ran into a couple of other customers who had just bought vehicles from them and they had nothing but good things to say about the staff. Definitely recommend dealing with them and I will go back for my next vehicle - whenever that happens, because I can’t see the Tacoma needing to be replaced anytime soon!

My partner and I just purchased a 2009 Toyota FJ cruiser, and we both agree that it has been the best sales experience we've ever had. Gary was up front, honest, and communicated with us using full discretion at all times. As customers, we appreciated that so much. Gary allowed us to take the truck to a mechanic to have an inspection done on it, and even offered to compensate us for a couple of minor deficiencies (new wiper blades). There was never any pressure, and negotiations were fair and reasonable. We left feeling like we had struck a fair deal, while keeping the dealer and ourselves happy. We drove up to Kamloops from North Vancouver to visit this dealership because they had great reviews in addition to the truck that we wanted, and now we certainly see why! Bought a 2004 Honda Element from country auto, we were on vacation and just happened to see they had one and we had been looking for a while, they let us drive it and went over everything with us. We are from Alberta and were worried about the out of province, they assured us it would pass (this is where I got nervous), we bought it, got it back to Alberta and it passed with flying colors, the tech at the shop that did the inspection even said that it was in excellent condition for the amount of km it has. The staff here is very honest and i appreciate everything they did for us! I wish more local dealers were like them. Thanks so much for the beautifully reconditioned vehicle!!!

I came in to look at a insurance claim (I work for service master) and i was the one doing the ceiling repair and wanted to see the texture I’ve been turned down by ford and other dealers cuz I have awful credit and wanted to rebuild my credit to buy a house in the future so I figured I’d ask them to see if they could help not only did Joel help me in getting a new suv he was so nice because they could of sold me one on the lot at almost 30% apr but helped me get a car through another dealer at 17% apr I can’t say enough about this dealer the owner to to staff very friendly and helpful I would recommend this dealer over any if they have something you like on there lot or not I’m sure they would help you. 5 stars! I gave a friend a ride to the dealership. I stood back and observed the following: Friendly, personable staff. Salesman was very helpful, yet not pushy. Vehicle was thoroughly inspected by Country Auto Sales, any issues indicated on the inspection sheet had been repaired. Negotiations were smooth and accommodating. They doubled the warranty period without being asked. Vehicle was detailed and presented well. This is my friend's first time to a car dealership, he was nervous about the experience, but that quickly went away after meeting with their staff. I normally deal with branded car dealers such as Chevrolet, Ford, etc. I was very impressed with this used auto dealer. I bought a 2003 Ford Escape a few weeks ago. It drives like new and I absolutely love it!! Gary and Chris were both great as well as the rest of the team I met. I felt well informed about my purchase and no pressure at all to buy. I returned to have a minor issue corrected. This was looked after immediately with no charge and they even changed the spark plugs as they noticed they were a bit worn. I have bought a couple of vehicles from these guys and it’s been the best experience I have ever had when buying a used vehicle. They are polite and courteous and professional and are very knowledgeable about all there vehicles. They have a full service state of the art shop with a full-time mechanic. They inspect all there vehicles before they are put on the lot for sale. They have copies of all inspections for buyers to see.

I just purchased a 2004 Envoy from them and it a was great experience. They not only gave me the price I had in mind but they also threw in a 3 month warranty. They seem like a "no nonsense" business and I respect that, I'm not there to play games. A hard working, honest man with grease on his hands. He gave me the lowdown on the car, and we went inside to get the keys. That's where I met his business partner Gary. His demeanor was that of a genuine, hardworking, honest man that had grease on his hands as well. These guys personally work on and care about the mechanical condition of each vehicle on their lot. They can genuinely tell you all about it. I appreciated their patience and care for the budget my daughter had for a car. In the end, they sold her a beautiful, clean little car that came with a price my own friends didn't believe. Then they gave us a 3 month 3000 km warranty on top of it. I can't say enough about this company, and these 2 genuine, hardworking, honest gentlemen that own and run it. Just cruising the dealerships and boom I seen the next truck I was going to buy, a 3500 ram. It was the day before I was heading back north for work and I knew I wouldn’t have time to drive Into Kamloops. Lucky for me I already had Joel’s number so I messaged him right away. I was away for 2 weeks and the entire time I was gone country auto sales worked with me between me before work and after work to set up a deal with me for when I returned. I stopped by the morning I got back and took it for a test drive and everything. My bank appointment wasn’t till the next day but the boys offered for me to take the truck home for the day while waited. Hello peeps.... Gary and Joel are outstanding . I saw the my 3500 dodge on car gurus . Called Gary and drove up from Abbotsford on Saturday . It was very cold and Gary did not have the truck running when I arrived . This was good as I can see how the truck would start cold . Plus I got to feel the steering wheel and heated seats get warm....very nice ????????. They gave me a very fare deal on my ram 1500 on a trade . Gave a deposit and came back Tuesday signed the papers and I’m a happy customer. Today (Thursday ) I had a issue with the truck and contacted Gary . He has made arrangement for the part I required ....above the call of duty for used car salesman Thanks Gary . Joel ......mr finance man ..he is very friendly and helpful in going over all the papers and warranty . Good talking with him no pressure .. Fiance and I purchased a Hyundai Veloster here. One week later constant problems kept happening. The winter tires they gave us; one blew up because of how horrible they were. A hose broke and rad fluid was everywhere. The interior lights stopped working. The idle is also super shaky. Took the car to the shop and they said for almost 11 grand we got an absolutely horrible deal. I thought they were decent people that we could trust buying a vehicle off of? Clearly not I suppose. Why even pay 11 grand to have a vehicle with 2 sets of horrible tires and constant problems.

I just purchased my new work truck from Country Auto on the northshore and I can't say enough about the customer service from everyone who worked there as well as how happy I am about my new vehicle. Everyone who I encountered was extremely pleasant and helpful. Chris and Gary are awesome guys to deal with! You would never tell they are in sales because they are super relaxed and not pushy whatsoever and are too busy working hard! It was nice in comparison to the other big dealerships I had gone to who just gave me anxiety. Chris was great to me and gave me an extremely reasonable trade in for my car and I was so relieved. He also listened to exactly what i wanted in a truck and helped me find exactly that. (I came in with a list haha) I had not dealt with Gary much in the process but when we spoke he was so relaxed and very easy to talk to!! Joel the finance manager was very patient with me in this process and even took the time to speak to my husband about his concerns and made everything so easy. There wasn't anything I had signed that he did not fully explain to me and I'm super thankful for him for the paperwork end of things. It was overall a great feeling to have the team help me out and not once did I feel uncomfortable or even feel like I was at a car dealership. Not only did he have a great selection on vehicles, the tires were not flat like other lots and when we seen another vehicle he was honest and said it had not been through the shop yet and wouldn't give us a number for what he would sell it for. Other lots looked like they just parked it without cleaning it or inspecting it. We had a great vibe arriving on this lot. It looks to me like these guys are trying really hard to stand out from rest of the used car retailers by building a solid reputation one customer at a time. From the first time I set foot on their lot Chris and Gary treated me with utmost respect and sincerity. There was never any pressure, they answered all my questions and they promised me they'd give me a great price for my trade in. When we finally sat down to discuss details I was pleasantly surprised to find they more than lived up to their promise. Our transaction was completed in a most friendly manner...courteous, professional, and sincere. As luck would have it the washer pump on my new truck quit working about a week after I purchased the vehicle. It happens, not a big deal, truck was 5 years old and I understand things will need some TLC periodically. I gave Gary a quick call late in the afternoon and he asked me to bring the truck by for a look as soon as I could get there. I arrived the next day to find they'd already ordered a replacement and had the part waiting for me when I arrived. Chris came over and personally replaced the pump within minutes of my arrival and made a point of asking me how I liked the new vehicle and if there was anything else the could do or check up on for me.Couldn't ask for better service and care than I've experienced with these guys so far. At this point I wouldn't hesitate to give them my highest recommendations and really hope they continue with their successful formula of treating each customer with the care and sincerity they've offered me. theae guys are awesome !!! We purchased a vehicle for my daughter earlier in the year and found the staff friendly (not pushy) And they have a large selection of vehicles to choose from all well priced and clean. My son was next in line and we returned to country auto to find him a vehicle. My sons vehicle started to have issues with the air conditioning compressor and the dealership warranted the work. About a month later on a trip back from the coast the air compressor broke again on the highway and broke a belt so the vehicle needed to be towed, I fully expected a battle over the tow and rework to the air conditioning unit but Criss and Gary are old school guys and backed the product they sold !!! The dealership payed for the tow ($600) and replaced the faulty compressor. You can trust this outfit and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a vehicle.

My husband Sean and I purchased a 2004 Toyota Sienna minivan at Country Auto last week. The van is in excellent shape and they made sure everything was good to go before we left the lot. Chris and Gary didn’t pressure us at all and we felt free to look around and take our time. They were super efficient and helpful and let us test drive the van a couple of times before we decided, and when we decided to take it the whole transaction took no longer than ten minutes. The secretary Karen called the insurance people for us and they were there super fast. The whole experience was just a breeze and super down to earth.
