I had a fantastic experience buying a used Honda Fit here. Was able to negotiate a fair price online with no skeezy sales tactics, and the purchasing/title process was a complete breeze. All staff I encountered were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They also were the only dealership I visited that seemed to be taking adequate COVID precautions. I sent an email to the dealership on Sunday (they are closed on Sunday) to inquire about a 2021 Sienna XSE AWD they had in stock that had the right colors we were looking for at a price that was considerably less than any Toyota dealership near our home. Early the next day I received call from the dealership and they connected me up with Chris Aders. He was friendly, not pushy, and was quick to respond with every question I had. I made arrangements to go up and buy the Sienna within an hour. We drove the three and a half hours to the dealership. My wife got in the van, looked and me and said watch this... she threw her phone in the pocket on the dash and then she said "where's the phone charger". Apparently, her favorite feature on the Sienna was an in-dash phone charger that wasn't in the van that we drove 3.5 hours to buy. This wasn't the fault of the dealership... this was on me. I felt bad for wasting the sales person's time but we went ahead and discussed getting another Sienna with this magical wireless charger. They could not locate one that day that matched everything we wanted but Chris promised to find one. To top it off, he filled up our gas tank and arranged to have the new van brought to us when we got everything worked out. To keep a long story from getting too much longer, they were able to trade with another dealership twice as far away from them as we were for a new Sienna that had not even been built yet. We have the van and the experience provided buy the dealership was nothing short of exceptional. It's very important that I mention, they price their vehicles at factory invoice instead of MSRP (like pretty much every dealership in our area). They do not have any hidden fees. They also gave us a very competitive trade-in for our previous Sienna. Thank you Chris Aders (sales) and Shirley (finance), and everyone else that may have had a hand in our experience, for the best new car purchase we have ever made. We will definitely look to Uebelhor & Sons Toyota for future purchases.

We bought a new Toyota Sienna in 2003 and drove it for 13 years without any major fixes. At 238,000+ miles we realized it was time for a new Sienna. I had been searching online at both Kenny Kent in Evansville and Uebelhor Toyota in Jasper. I found a 2014 I was very interested in but couldn't make it to look at it until the weekend since we live an hour and a half away. I contacted Ron Gooding and he was quick to send me pics of the van both inside and out and held it until we were able to be there on Saturday. The van was all ready when we got there for a test drive. Ron was very friendly and so easy to work with. We traded in our 2003 Sienna and he worked very hard to get the most we could get out of it. We purchased the 2014 Sienna and I am just ecstatic!!!! I can't tell you how happy I am with this van! He worked with us on the price and was able to get us a monthly payment under what we were budgeting for. I will drive this Toyota van for as long as she "LulaBell" runs. We currently own 4 Toyota vehicles and wouldn't drive anything else. Thank you Ron Gooding for being so great! I hope you are still there in 13 years when we come to buy our next Toyota :)

Well.. Here is my experience with Uebelhor. In early 2016, we decided that we would trade our 2013 Nissan Z in on a more practical Rav 4. After test driving the Rav 4, we felt we had a fit. The salesman came back with an offer on our Z that was well below KBB trade-in value for a car in that condition. The reasons they gave us for the low offer is that the car needed rear tires (IMO they didn't) and that it was winter which is a bad time for them to sell a sports car. I conceded and left with a much higher car payment than I expected and a shiny new Rav 4. Fast forward to Mother's Day of 2017. My son was home from college and we all decided that he needed a new, more reliable vehicle than the 1998 Honda Civic that he had been commuting with. Uebelhor had a very nice used Lexus IS 250 that we were interested in. The price was right and the vehicle had low miles and we were more than comfortable with the reputation of reliability and safety that comes with Lexus ownership. The plan was to take the Civic and a vintage 1985 Toyota MR-2 (that only had 79K miles on it) and trade it on the Lexus. The KBB on a trade for the Civic was around $1800 and the vintage MR-2 was around 2500-5000 based on condition. I figured it would be on the low end as there were some minor rust around the rear quarter panels. Well. They came back with a trade in allowance of $2000 for BOTH VEHICLES! We were stunned. It was getting late in the day (we had been there for hours) and with both vehicles there and my son going back to school the next morning, we reluctantly took their low-ball offer. That was a mistake on our part. We should have told them to go pound sand at that point but felt we had so much time invested (and my son loved the vehicle) that there was no way we weren't leaving there without that vehicle. Most recently, we decided that we were not huge fans of the Rav-4 we purchased and thought that we would trade that vehicle as well as our 2011 Tundra in and get a new Tacoma. Well. That didn't go well at all. They offered us $5K less for the Rav-4 than the KBB trade-in value for a vehicle in fair (not good or excellent) condition. Their reason? A blemish in the back seat. The vehicle has very low miles. On the Tundra, they were a little more fair with their offer but were still on the very low spectrum for the KBB trad-in value for a Tundra. I believe that since they knew we had some much equity in the Tundra and our previous history of gullibility that we would accept it. I didn't. We left. As far as service in the interval between purchases, I have found that even though we have always had appointments, they were always obviously overbooked and a simple oil change had us waiting in their comfortable service lobby for well over an hour and a half. You would think that the vehicle would come out clean (most dealerships will at least hose off the vehicle and run a vac thought it when you go for service) but they never took that extra step. I am not one to review online but with the amount of time I have wasted coupled with the amount of money I have LOST due to their practices, I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealership. Those in the area should test the waters in a larger market such as Louisville or Bloomington before checking with Uebelhor. We have since found better a dealership in Bloomington that has a much better customer service game. Uebelhor has never done a single thing to warrant us doing business with them. In fact, they have made out like bandits at our expense. Those are my 3 experiences with this dealership. We will not be back. Ever. UPDATE: They finally responded to the review (9 months later) asking me what they could do to improve.. NEWS FLASH>>> It's all right there in my initial review. You expect me to call you and tell you what else, exactly? Haven't you wasted enough of my time? BUYER BEWARE.

This dealer ranks right up there with Andrews Auto Sales Buy here Pay here scam car lot prices. By far these two dealers are the worst dealers in our area. My wife and I bought a new Sienna after about a year of research and consideration. We shopped at 3 local delearships and chose Uebelhor because of their no pressure sales and very knowledgeable salesmen. They were the farthest from us....50+ miles...but well worth it! We talked to Daniel Walker, the sales manager, at first and he referred us to Nathan Keusch to show us the vehicles we were considering. Daniel and Nathan even arranged for a vehicle to be delivered from Vincennes just so we could test drive it. We were very impressed with their willingness to show us the different models of the Sienna to be sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. We thought we wanted the LE but ended up buying the XLE because we realized it had everything we wanted for everyday use. I would recommend my Mom to work with Nathan!

We live twenty minutes away from Kenny Kent and 45 minutes away from Uebelhor. We purchased a 2009 Toyota Corolla in 2008 from Uebelhor and Sons Toyota and dealt with Dan Walker who we highly recommended. When it came time to purchase our next new vehicle we contacted Uebelhor first. We knew what we wanted but it was a little out of our price range. I sent an inquiry and around 9:00 PM asking for a bottom price for a 2016 Toyota Rav 4 XLE AWD with convenience package. . He had the walk out the door cash price within a half an hour. The price was lower than the retail price. we were happy to know they had three in stock and two were colors we liked. Ron let us look at the two different colors and I fell in love with the Electric storm blue. We test drove it and loved it. Ron understood our budget and our needs and gave us a GREAT deal. We traded in a vehicle, put money down and got our monthly payment right where we wanted. Ron went over any questions we had. Ron took extra time to go over all the features of our new vehicle. He was very informative and really knew this vehicle. He stayed at the dealership way after closing time to make sure we were satisfied and understood everything. This review is coming after three (3) years of experience with the company and is based on the Car Buying experience coupled with the Service after the Purchase. In December 2018, my wife and I purchased our very first new car (to both of us). We were fortunate to draw Chris Underwood as our salesperson, and he was extremely nice to work with. He understood we were first-time new car buyers and we were concerned about budget, insurance, etc. We wanted a Rav-4, and despite some short supply issues, he managed to find a brand new 2018 Toyota Rav4 XLE, which we purchased with some extras to try and maintain good resale value. Unfortunately, it is after this experience that things go downhill. Attempting to schedule Services as part of the ToyotaCare package has been hard. However, the demeanor and frankly, customer service skills by the Service team has been poor. I have had my vehicle returned to me dirty, windshield wipers not attached correctly, and never once thanked for visiting after the sale. To most, I understand that some would say, "Well, why go back?" Simply put, I bought the Care package and wanted to maintain an excellent service history as I eventually wanted to buy a Tacoma. However, that package is done, and I'm unsure if I will return for service. All in all, I'm giving the organization a three (3), because I think improvements can be made. Yes, it can be a great car buying experience, but be prepared adjust your expectations in their Service Center.

Drove from Chicago to purchase from Uebelhor! Was interested in purchasing the new 2020 Supra. Every dealer around wanted to play games. Advertising MSRP pricing on the website and then once I reached out or went to the dealership the price was higher because of the demand for the new Supra. That was until I came across Uebelhor Toyota. I found them to have high values when it comes to the consumer, were up front about the price, had tools in place for me to do the entire car deal online as if I was buying something from Amazon, and the people at the dealership working to make sure details were correct the first time and making sure my trip from Chicago to take delivery was one of easiest and of most of specialist memories for me. Bought the car the week before Christmas and they had it parked in the showroom with a bow and made me have all the feels. Could not speak higher of the level of importance and respect they made me feel in the process of buying a new car. Throw what you hear about buying a new car out the window - this place does it the way it's meant to be done! The old fashion way, the family way, the way that you want it to be done! I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at Uebelhor and Sons Toyota. I recently purchased a new Highlander and I love the vehicle. All of my dealings with this dealership have been so much better than past experiences with other dealerships. In the process of purchasing this car I contacted several other dealerships. Ron Gooding at Uebelhor offered better service by far than any of the other dealers. In addition to being professional and timely in all of his responses the bottom line deal was better than what I was offered at any of the other dealers. I traveled from 50 miles away and would gladly do it again to obtain the high level of service that is offered at Uebelhor and Sons. I knew that I was in for a different experience from my first contact with Ron Gooding. I send an email to inquire about the vehicle that I wanted. He answered all of my questions via email quickly and professionally. We set up a time for me to come up in person. Mr. Gooding met us and we discussed all of the options for obtaining the exact vehicle we wanted. He quickly was able to let me know what the bottom line pricing would be without the usual “I have to go check with my manager” Rather than spending hours sitting around the dealership getting frustrated we were quickly on the road back home. Several hours later Ron Gooding called to give us the details of when he was going to be able to get the vehicle for us. My experience with the finance office also was all professional without the usual high pressure sales pitches. When the day came to pick up the vehicle Ron Gooding spent all the time we needed to help us get familiar with the vehicle. While wandering around the dealer lot I met several of the service personnel. They were all very professional and polite. I look forward to bringing my vehicle in for service. I would highly recommend, without any reservation Ubelhor and Sons to anyone who is looking for a vehicle. They do good work here, but I find it strange that when you call to make an appointment for a service, those taking calls have no knowledge of the coupons customers receive in the mail. I was told that they "don't get to see them," so I had go over covered services and their advertised prices several times for her to get it all down. Plus, the flyer advertises "Open Saturday!" but I was told that the service I wanted (also from the flyer) isn't available on Saturdays. Why not just keep a flyer around for the front-facing people so we're all on the same page? I work at a front desk too, so I know how annoying it can be not to have all the facts when people call. It wasn't her fault. Seems like a broader company communication issue--and a super easy fix. Just sayin'. Otherwise, I'd give them 5 stars. Great place for service!

My husband and I recently traded our vehicle in on a 2012 Camry at Uebelhor Toyota and Scion. The whole process was a breath of fresh air. Our salesman Ron Gooding was informative and educated us well, as this was our first Toyota purchase. He was absolutely wonderful! He even installed our daughter's carseat in the new vehicle! I’ve been going back and forth with myself about writing this review. But I figured this review might help someone out. Overall my buying experience was great with Uebelhor. I flew in from Florida and they were nice enough to have someone pick me up form the airport. The car was priced right and there was no dealer fee. Upon arrival I inspected the car while it was in the showroom and found a rock chip and a few scratches on the front of the hood above the headlights. My sales guy told me it may have been from the plastic film it was covered with when the car was shipped. He also said the car was outdoors for the storms on December 11th and they had debris come up that way. One of their detail guys came and waxed the scratches out. It lightened up but was not fully gone. I was okay with that because of the situation with the storms. Upon driving back to Florida I noticed several hairline scratches on the rear wing when fueling. It rained as I did my overnight drive home. Two days later I noticed a lot more scratches on the hood, roof and trunk. There were also swirls all over the sides of the car which is evidence of the car being ran through a car wash. Always hand wash a new car. The scratches are light and didn’t penetrate the clear coat. As the car got dirty the scratches became more visible. I reached out to the dealership to see if they were willing to pay for the car to get a compound and wax to remove the scratches. I was asked if there was something I did my way home to make this happen? That was pretty insulting because I’ve never heard of rain scratching a car. Long story short they refused to correct the situation and implied I did it. The scratches are very visible in the sunlight. I cannot catch the scratches on the red on camera but you can see it on the black. I’ll pay to have my paint corrected but I won’t do business with them again. I paid $49k for a scratch up car with a rock chip. My advice to anyone buying a car from this dealership is to bring a led flashlight and inspect your paint properly before leaving.

Salesman told me that the truck I was looking at was in perfect shape, super clean, etc. I drive my truck that I was trading in, which was in really great shape 45 minutes away to meet her when they open to look at the truck. So I get there and have to wait 45 minutes past our meet time. Then this "perfect" truck they had was beat up, dents every where. So since I wasted my time to go up there we test drove it, and back-up camera wasn't working and the stairing had a loud popping noise. So then we looked at other more expensive vehicles, found one, and then they low balled me on my trade in value when I gave them great discription of my truck the night before and they said they could easily meet what I thought my truck was worth. I went down the road to Ruxer and they offered me $2,000 dollars more for my truck before they even drove it. Uebelhor vehicles are over priced and they offer the lowest price possible on your vehicle. Oh, while we were trying to work out a deal, they never budged a dollar from their price on their vehicle and never budged any on the trade in value. This is the lot in my life time that never moved any. I trade and buy vehicles all the time and this was one of worst car shopping experiences I have ever had.

I bought a car last week and the salesman was very nice and the woman who did my financing was nice as well. However, I am driving the car home and notice the heating doesn't work on the driver's side. I assumed it was user error as I was still working on figuring out all the new buttons. I tried again a few days later and realized it was not me, but a problem with the car. With a growing family, I was in the market for a vehicle with adequate space for kids and still be useful for off-road adventures. I had never owned a Toyota, but knew of their off-road capability, dependability, resale value and overall positive reviews. I watched several YouTube reviews of both the Tacoma and 4Runner TRD Pro / Off-Road models. Additionally, I spoke with several buddies who own those models and their experience weighed heavily with me. A requirement was rear facing child seats had to fit and allow ample leg room for the front driver / passenger. I looked at several models in-person, and like the reviews showed, the Tacoma was a tight fit with rear facing child seats. On the contrary, the 4Runner had ample space. Using CarGurus, I located a certified Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro at Uebelhor Toyota. I went to the dealership to look at the vehicle and was greeted by sales consultant Jud Goodness. Jud was extremely friendly, very helpful and laid back. They allowed us to test fit our child seat and take the vehicle on an extended test drive. The vehicle was in wonderful condition and everything I wanted. Given how hard the TRD Pro models are to find and its condition / mileage, the price was very fair. My wife and I were pleased with with the vehicle price, their trade-in offer and the atmosphere of the dealership. We decided to purchase the vehicle and the finance consultant, Shirley Russell, was wonderful and great with our son. I had heard bad things about dealerships not giving the best interest rates someone may actually qualify for in order to help their profits, but that was not the case at Uebelhor. The percentage I was given was the exact same I would have received had I went to the bank myself, yes I checked. There was no pressure from Shirley to purchase additional warranties / products and she answered all of my questions. In the past at other dealerships, when I refused their offers, their attitude totally changed toward me. To top it off, there were absolutely ZERO dealer and documentation fees, which I had never experienced before. In closing, we were very happy with our experience at Uebelhor Toyota and their staff. I will check with them for future purchase considerations and will recommend them to others. Thanks!

By far, the BEST car buying experience ever in over 30+ years of buying cars. We were looking for a new SUV (for my wife), initially looking at the new Highlander but after multiple test drives determined that she wanted a 2016 4Runner. We shopped three local Toyota dealers where we live. None of them would discount the price of the Toyota much, they were low on the value of our trade-in, and all had “dealer doc fees” ranging from several hundred dollars to over $700. We experienced all of these same issues over the past years when we looked at Toyotas and in the end always ended up with either a Honda or a Ford because those dealers were easier to work with and you felt like you were getting a deal that you could live with. I was about to contact a Toyota dealer in Evansville, when I stumbled across Uebelhor Toyota on the internet. I saw their customer reviews were outstanding. I decided to contact them through the internet and shortly received a reply Ron Gooding. I explained our recent experiences and told him what we were looking for. He was able to email us the price for the 4Runner and amount for our trade within a few hours. We were very specific on what we did and didn’t want on the 4Runner. Ron worked for weeks to locate exactly what we wanted. During this time, he never once said he couldn’t get what we wanted or suggested something else. Ron always kept us informed on how things were progressing. When the 4Runner finally arrived at Uebelhor, we drove over and completed the transaction, which took less than an hour from the time of arrival to driving off in our new 4Runner. There were no hidden surprises, no add-ons, and no “dealer doc fees”, the bottom line price that we were originally quoted via email was the price when we arrived to sign the paperwork. Ron was always prompt and professional in all of his communication/correspondence. Uebelhor Toyota is about a 1.5 hour drive (each way) from our house, but based on our experience, well worth every minute.

So me and my wife made a mistake on the purchase of her van. We bought at Kenny Kent thinking we would save money NOPE. After buying the vehicle we had a small issue with the buttons around the console with the heat and air. After our first attempt at having them look at it, we knew it was time to go elsewhere. When it was time for the first oil change we schedule with Uebelhor Toyota and they gave us a 4Runner to drive, hard to get the wife out of that. Anyway as we got the van back they informed us that they detailed around the buttons as they were sticking (how about that) and the air controls were not responding right. So we paid for our oil change got a FREE loaner and our console detail for nothing more than an oil service charge. This is a company that goes above and beyond to take care of you even if you buy your vehicle at the wrong store. They will get all of our business in the future.

Purchased a brand new 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium from Uebelhor Toyota. Website advertised the vehicle having 20 miles and did not have a license plate holder installed on the front valance. When picking the vehicle up, the vehicle had 612 miles along with the license plate holder installed. When asking the salesman why the mileage difference, he stated “The 20 mileage is standard on new vehicle listings on the site”. To some, this may be negligible. The front license plate holder was not something I wanted and I was not asked if this is something I desired. I had to pay $223.68 for a new front bumper valance as there were large holes in the original from the install. The mileage, should have been accurately displayed. Once again, to most this would not perturb. Other than the above mentioned, it was a pleasant experience.

I brought my Tundra in to have a front axel replaced because CV boot came off and was damaged. I also asked for some adjustments to be made as well as oil change and tire rotate since they were going to have the wheel off and be under the truck anyway. I get a call at nearly closing time to get my truck. They stated that they just put the clamp back on and it might hold or come off in 20 miles. WTH, really? $200 later all I have is an oil change and tire rotation. I get home and boot is off again and grease is slung all over the truck again. The service manager calls me and tries to talk his way out of it by saying he has to trust his technician and that the lift I have in my truck is the cause of the boot coming off. (If that’s the case, why does Toyota sell trucks with this exact lift? ). That was a BS response as the axel angle was not the issue. Even if it were it does not matter because I asked for it to be replaced. I am really upset that: 1) work was not performed as requested 2) charges don’t add up to oil change and tire rotation 3) service manager calls to apologize and explain but all he does is talk himself out of any responsibility 4) I had to take it somewhere else to get it fixed that specializes in Tundras. I was willing to let things slide until I got the call from Toyota trying to defend not properly fixing the axel. Why would they not replace it if the boy was damaged? Or even call and say it’s going to cost $$$ to fix it?? This is exactly how you lose repeat service and sales.

He was very helpful, answered all our questions and did his very best to order us just the exact Tacoma that we wanted. If all salesmen were like Chris Underwood, car salesmen would have a better reputation. Another thing we liked is there is NO documentation fees like we have had to pay at other places. The only problem we had was when we first called the number listed on the website, this customer service rep insisted we make an appointment at a certain time to see the manager and I tried to explain that we had a very busy business schedule that day but he still kept at us until Carl finally gave him a time we could go there. This is a terrible way to do business. He was so persistent that they almost lost a sale. After some research we decided to buy a 2019 Four Runner. Having been burned by the local Toyota dealer in Bloomington Indiana in the past we decided to broaden our search area. From Louisville, Ky to Indianapolis, IN we combed. It was not until we visited Uebelhor in Jasper, IN that it was decided where we were going to get our next new car. At Uebelhor we weren’t chased through the parking lot by a salesperson, everyone was friendly and was more than happy to answer all our questions without trying to put us “behind the wheel” today. Our sales consultant (Elias Trevino) was just that, a consultant. Elias took his time going over ALL the different options/models Toyota had to offer on the Four Runner. Afterwards when we left to think it over, we were never “hounded” at home or email about making a purchase. After several weeks of weighing the pro’s and con’s we determined the Limited model in silver was going to be the right choice for us. Unfortunately, Uebelhor didn’t have that specific one in stock. Again Mr. Trevino stepped up to the plate and went to work to find us the exact car we wanted. Not once did he ever say we have this one in a different color but same options. He was determined to get us exactly what we wanted. After discovering one at another dealer, Uebelhor was able to have the car picked up and brought to Jasper with in days. The last step was the paperwork, it went as smooth as the rest of the process. All the possible “add-ons” i.e. extended warranty, paint sealer, maintenance packages etc. were thoroughly discussed, and never once did I ever feel pressured to buy something I didn’t want. Thank you Uebelhor Toyota for making our entire experience a pleasant one. Next time we are in the market, Uebelhor will be our first stop!

Now that I've gotten rid of my 1 year old vehicle with 14000 miles I feel comfortable leaving a review. John Hunt was the worst salesman I ever dealt with. We(my husband and I)were buying a 2017 Toyota Sienna in March of 2018 for the discounts on it. We test drove a vehicle on their lot, but was told they'd have to search for ours. We asked if all the features in the vehicle we test drove were in the one we would get, and got an "absolutely". That was not the case. The vehicle was missing USB ports, turning signals on the mirrors, sun roof, floor mats(really), it was chromed out with pin stripes, the GPS never functioned, the gas mileage was never above 17mpg which we were told 21. We were lied to from the go. We wanted to run but felt we were so deep that we should just see it through. Worst mistake ever! Our vehicle died after 14000 miles. The transmission went out. We now have a 2019 Sienna with all the features, the gas mileage we were promised, and our payment only increased by $12.00. Run to kenny kent in Evansville. Don't mess with this place unless you live there, and can go there daily for the issues your vehicle will have. Calling them is pointless, I've tried. I can not count how many messages went unanswered. I'm guess I'm still waiting for a callback. Incompetent people, john hunt being #1. To the reply, the vehicle I bought was not "as is", or used it was bran new!!!!!! Thank you for once again showing your incompetency as a dealership.
