Brought my truck in here for a recall. The service man at the desk was very rude when I asked if I could get a loaner. He then told me I should take my truck back to the dealership where I purchased it. This is an official Dodge dealership and part of their licensing deal is they have to do all recalls that come in (Dodge pays for it).

Took my 2018 Journey in for a problem, Uconnect would not connect with my phone. I talked to the receptionist and she said it was my phone. I explained I had bought the car the day prior and the car had been paired with my phone. She still blamed the phone, I then talked to service, they said it was my phone, the receptionist then yelled over the entire lobby, "That is what I said"!!! They had not even looked at the vehicle. Then they proceeded to take care of other issues and ignore me, I insisted that it was not my phone, the service tech finally came to look at the car and it did not connect when he tried to connect the phone. The service tech then did something else and the Uconnect finally kicked in, still giving me problems but I will not return to that place.

Came from out of state to buy a used vehicle. Salesman (Ben) knew I was very picky and did a great job of identifying any defects or issues with the vehicle over the phone. We were able to negotiate a fair price over the phone with the caveat of "If its not exactly as you've described, I'm walking away with all of my money". Vehicle was exactly as described. Paperwork was a breeze.

I brought a car in that was making a noise when you went around corners they could not fix it and charge me for looking at it. I went to another mechanic on the other side of town they found a problem real quick it was a cracked cover for my axle they welded it and charge me less money then what Sternberg Chrysler did just for looking at it. The sad thing is it is one of their cars they should have known the problem

My ex husband was having overheating issues with his jeep on Monday 7/26/21, so he heads to Sternberg. They have him make an appt for Wednesday 7/28/21, to replace waterpump and service oil change. On his way to appt from Louisville Kentucky (dealing with family issues) the jeep decided it had enough and broke down between Corydon and Leavenworth exits. He calls sternberg to let them know, so they send a wrecker (little less than $300.00 for this service ). They get jeep to sternberg and now there is a warranty issue, so evidently this takes us up to Friday evening now. What irked me the most, you now call at 450PM and say it's done, when we are having supper. Oh ok we are on our way, oh no sir we are closed, you will have to pick it up Saturday, gave us no hours to pick up. Thank God we called back because they (the finance dept) closes at 11 am. I would have been fit to be tied if I arrived after hours Saturday. This is not counting the numerous times he was asked if he still wanted the oil changed and serviced. So here we are $1019.68 later. He was not offered a loaner to get around for these 3 days of no vehicle, so I was a taxi service, hard to do when I have to work myself. So I'm very disappointed in their service, lack of communication and no assistance on their end except the wrecker service, which didn't hurt them any. I will never use or refer them to anyone.

Typical old style dealer. Not particularly great customer service. Though I've been here about a dozen times, I don't feel they enjoy their job or serving their customers. They do typical dealer service though and will probably fix your problem, you just might not feel it. Many other dealers provide the same and better service, but you'll be Jasper going somewhere else most likely. It isn't that they are rude or treat customers poorly, it is that they don't engage customers or make them feel like they are being served. Hard to get into service for routine work too. Even an oil change takes an appointment for a couple days out most of the time.

How to schedule time for an oil change. I showed up 20 minutes before the appointment time. They did not get me serviced until 2 hours after the appointment time. Did not understand the reason for making in appointment. Was not very happy with their service department.

Went in for an oil change and to have my brakes looked at in March. My car had started having brake trouble and would shake anytime I used them. The oil was changed but the brakes were not fixed. Had to go back to have them looked at again and they were finally fixed. I was told that it would only take a hour and a half and if it was going to take longer I could borrow a loaner. Three hours later I was finally offered a loaner and told it would take two more hours. Between that, the loaner with the messed up gear box I was given, and the uncomfortable comments made about my age, they will not be receiving my business again.

Vehicle that I looked at online ended up having damage due to owner driving it. They said they would fix it but kept giving me the run around about when the truck would be fixed. Not to mention the miles listed on the truck online at 93,000 and some change. Truck had over 95,000 at the dealership. After 18 days of waiting and the truck still not finished. Took my business elsewhere. Highly doubt the damage will be reported on the vin. I used to work at a body shop, doesnt take that long to get parts and paint a hood.

Been sitting here at there service department since 10 am it's 1:10 PM now all for them to put a starter on. Car has been in there since 8:30 am. I have replaced starters before and I know it doesn't take more than 30 minutes to an hour depending on how hard it is to get to. This is the worst place to take a vehicle for any type of service. I shouldn't have to pay for some moron that doesn't know there job.

Dropped 2014 Chrysler van off Thursday evening for oil filter housing to be replaced an upper an lower intake gaskets I get it bac Tuesday afternoon an go to Evansville an little aver half way back it over heats so I pull over as soon as I can an pop the hood the top radiator hose clamp was not even close to being on an the lower hose heater core hose that connects too intake had fell off. I mean really people is it that hard to put hose clamps on. I personally would not even give them a star but it wouldn't let me I tried.

Where to even begin. Long story short walked in to purchase a $65k truck and the entire transaction was a mess. The salesman ended up being fired over the deal and we then dealt with a manager. Now every time the truck is taken in for service there's an issue. Had to pay $200 for something that was under warranty, the first time the truck was in there. Cut wire on the bed from install was somehow our fault. Mind you, this is a brand new truck. Now entire electrical system from bed is messing up. I don't understand how this place is still in business. This will be our last deal with these place ever again.

Watch the deals that they try to offer you and make sure that you check all paperwork so that you're not getting on the wrong end of the deal. Some information is held. I have had many bad experiences at this place. They have lost my business. I have my warranty through them and purchased my vehicle here so I took it here for service, etc. They are very rude in the service department. They have awful customer service. I do not recommend coming here for service if you don’t have to. I have given them plenty of opportunities to show me maybe they just had a bad day or week. However, that was not the case it turns out.

Do not buy extended maintenance from them. Was quoted "not our problem" . Getting a refund if you do not use it, they will not help you because they have made their money from you. I traveled for hours to get a part I needed right away. They charged substantially more than my dealer had quoted. When I asked about it the parts people just giggled. The box looked like it had been through a war. Thankfully the part inside was okay and my truck is back on the road.

Service department advised us that we needed a new engine in our 2002 jeep, charged a butt load money for engine, brought it back 3 more times, still not right and was charged all 3 times for different repairs each time, instead of just fixing right first time. If that is five star service it must be on a 25 star scale.
