Mark in sales sold me a used Ridgeline over the phone. I live about 180 miles round trip from Jasper, AL Everthing told and agreed to over the phone was exactly the same when I arrived. No surprises. Later drove back to Jasper for service after talking to another Honda Service Dept that gave me mixed information. Again service dept efficient, no surprises. I referred Mark and Jasper Honda to my wife's aunt who was shopping for new Honda Ridgeline. She made a deal with Mark over the phone, with a trade in. Again everthing when as promised. No surprises. She drove over 700 miles from Florida, one way, to Jasper Honda. Needless to say I recommend Mark and this dealership for new or used car purchases plus the service department.

I could not be more disappointed. I will never do business with Jasper Honda again. I paid $2000 over Blue Book value for a car, because it had a complete oil change history. When I bought it, the dealership agreed to change the valve cover gasket. I dropped the car off mere days after receiving it, and the car was "in the shop" ALL day. I picked the car up believing the work had been done. It has only been seven months, and there is a major oil leak coming from the valve cover gasket. The bolts that would have had to be removed in order for the work to be done are unscratched and perfectly intact. This is going to go down as one of the major mistakes in my life. What makes it worse is that I was under the distress of replacing a car that had been totaled in an accident. The dealer knew I was an easily pressured customer. I have zero trust in Jasper Honda. The feeling I have in the pit of my stomach when I think of dealing with them, and their sappy, sweet schmoozing, gives me an absolute panic attack. Honda has always been my car of choice, and I have had several. When I purchase my next vehicle, I will gladly go miles out of my way to avoid Jasper Honda.

I decided to purchase my Honda Civic from this location. They gave me the best price compared to other competitors. I'm talking like a $1500 price difference, brand new not used. I know in the world of car sales some employees would do whatever to get your signature. I really appreciated how Ray did whatever he could to me get me what I wanted. The staff I interacted with that day was friendly and patient especially when it came to answering my questions. I'm a veteran and I am likely to go back to this location to upgrade to the Accord. Usually when you go to a car dealership you can't keep the staff away from you, but if you visit Honda of Jasper all the staff will actively try to not make eye contact with you. I went in the location twice in one day thinking they may be busy and give them a chance. Unfortunately I was wrong. Well I brought my 05 Acura rl in the other day for an oil change and a tire rotation...one of the technicians messed up my tire pressure monitoring system on all 4 tires plus now my rear driver side tire has a leak and runs flat every 2 days I've checked for nails and there are none took it to havoline and the guy said it looked like wires had been messed with and he didn't even want to continue messing with it because he said honda was 100% at fault which was weird to him because he said Honda is normally really good about things like this ...will not be taking my car back to them looks like I'm gonna have to make the hour drive to Acura in Birmingham if I want my car fixed right....you just lost a very loyal customer

Just tagged along as my girlfriend bought a new Civic. As a guy who has bought too many vechicles I was impressed with the overall experience she had. They had agreed upon a price before we arrived. There was no underhanded added accessories or attempt to change the price. The deal went at a reasonable speed and she was happy with the result. The typical extended warranty was offered, but not with a high pressure sales technique. Both Ray and Darryl were pleasures to talk to and deal with. The extra drive from Birmingham was worth the experience.

Was in to get the oil changed. And to get the tires on my car inspected. Oil change went well. Service manager said they checked all the tires and found that I only needed one tire. However, I have now found that they did a poor inspection. I've gone on another long trip. And now stuck in Mississippi with three tires that either are losing pressure slowly, or are somehow flat! I'm hopeful they will make restitution for their error!

What a wonderful experience! Five stars isn't enough to describe this dealership. We came looking for a certain car and found it in the showroom. It exceeded our expectations. We met with the owner of the dealership and the sales rep, Tommy Dill went over all the features of the car during the test drive. We had a great experience at Jasper Honda. I can say this is the first time I have bought a car from a dealer and had this kind of experience. We shopped around for the best price on a new Odyssey. No one else could beat their price. They didn’t even try. We couldn’t get to the dealership until 6pm. They had the car washed and ready to go. We test drove it, then came back in and did paperwork. We were there for just an hour and 20 mins. There were no hidden fees and their taxes are significantly lower. Ray Schollian and Jarred were great salesman.

We were heading to stone mountain GA from Memphis TN to take our 5 kids to Six flags. About 200 miles from home, at 11pm, our van started chugging and shaking pretty rough. We pulled off at the next exit in Japser AL. Got a room for the night and hoped for the best. I took the van to the Firestone right in front of our hotel. Was told it was the catalytic converter and that they didn't have the equipment to fix it. They said I could try to Honda dealer down the road or somewhere else nearby. At 11am on a Saturday with tears in my eyes I drove down to Honda that closed at 2 to see of they could fix it. A little while later I was told it was NOT the catalytic converter (which wouldnt have been able to be fixed until Tuesday) but a misfiring cylinder and the oil pressure switch. They could fix it that day! OMG yes! They had me back up and running like new by 1215! Everyone there was extremely friendly and seemed happy to help. I was able to scoop up the rest of the family from the hotel and continue our trip to stone mountain. We just added an extra day to our trip so the kids could still go to six flags. Thank you so much to the service department for saving our little weekend trip! You guys are the real MVPs!

The actual purchase of the vehicle was a pretty good experience. The salesman went out of his way to help. So we made the deal on an 06 Honda Ridgeline. I drove it a week or so and noticed oil drips under it so I looked under the truck and saw oil on the oil pan and transmission. I took the truck in for them to check it out and they said the oil drain plug was loose and leaking oil, they did the oil change before I bought it. I questioned about the oil on the transmission which is on the other side of the engine and they assured me it was from the drain plug. I drove home and checked it again a little while later and no surprise oil was back in the same places. Took it back and they checked again and said oh this is leaking, again on the opposite side from the transmission. So now almost a year later I carry it back for the same oil leaks and now it's the drain pan gasket, main bearing cap bolt and drain pan drain bolt stripped. I feel like I got the run around so time would pass and they would not be liable for any of it. I will definitely seek another Honda dealer for my future purchases and service work if they don't do what is right and help with the needed 800$ + in repairs needed. I've also had to change the alternator, ac condenser fan, tensioner pulley assembly and serpentine belt less than 2 months after buying it, but I won't even get into that. I guess it all goes to prove that all car dealerships are the same, not very honest. Update 12/11/17. My issue continues and more repairs may be needed. Which would mean a misdiagnosis, and the service manager Walt Akerman would not guarantee to be covered. I will continue to update as this goes on until resolved. Update 12/20/17. Yes sir you are correct the repairs were covered by my extended warranty company and y'all covered the deductible. Y'all have earned my respect on doing the right, honest thing. I'm still waiting to pick up my truck at which time if it is indeed oil leak free and no other mechanical issues my review will indeed be changed to 5 stars and you will have earned my return business. Good job on being an honest upstanding car dealership. Update 6/21/2018. My truck is indeed still oil leak free. Good job Honda of Jasper on taking care of my truck. If and when I'm in the market for a vehicle I will definitely check to see if they have what I'm looking for. And have and will continue to refer friends and family to them.

Just leased a new 2018 Honda Accord 1.5 Touring edition from Jasper Honda. Internet sales Consultant Ray Schollian made us a fantastic deal on this vehicle. The whole transaction was handled over the internet in about 15 minutes or less. They even delivered the vehicle to my residence the next day. Did not have to spend 5 hours at the dealership dealing with a salesman and a snarkey sales manager. This is the only way to buy a car and I will use them again for sure. This is the new way to buy or lease a car.

I shopped around in Birmingham for the new Honda Civic. I wasn't impressed with the dearlerships here in Birmingham area. They asked to run my credit before talking about negotiation. I found that strange. With a credit score of 820 wasn't quiet sure why they would even ask. I decided to go see Blake Matthew in Jasper, Al at Honda of Jasper. Wow was I surprised at the service I received.. Very polite and willing to work with me to make buying a new car come true. I began my search for a replacement vehicle months ago after I had recently moved to Alabama from out-of-State. Jasper Honda was highly recommended to me by co-workers that had purchased both new and used vehicles there, so I visited them and spoke with them several times among other research and car dealers I also visited. The Jasper Honda team I encountered was amazing: Shonya - Sales Person, Tom -Sales Manager and Kevin –Owner. They were super nice, forthright, and extremely knowledgeable. In addition they provided me with by far the best price I had found. I was looking for a good used car but ended up buying a new one since the price was comparably a way better deal. They had both a good selection of new as well as used cars and they never pushed me in either direction and also didn't push me to buy. I usually hate buying a car but this was the first time that it was such a really good experience. The owner bent over backwards to answer all of my calls and my numerous questions as did the rest of the team. My husband was only able to be with me during our first visit to Jasper Honda (which btw was on a long weekend and they stayed extra time to speak with us and never rushed us). I wasn’t used to handling all the aspects of buying a car before, yet they really set my mind at ease with their words, actions, time spent and the great care they took in helping me with every aspect of the process. They even got a hitch put on for me at cost and it was all extraordinarily fast and seamless for me....which was just plain great. In addition they allowed me to trade in my car at a very fair price. Since I live over an hour from the dealership I was concerned that it was too far for me to buy a car from them as well as have to potentially service it there.....but they delivered my car to my house one evening and went over all the paperwork and details at my home. They will make the same provisions when I need routine service as well. To illustrate; one night I had a problem opening my trunk (which was completely my error...a bit embarrassing) but the Sales Manager stopped by on his way home from work to help me and set our minds at ease. He couldn't have been kinder. That's what you call great service! It has been just an amazingly good experience and I feel so strongly about this group of people and this dealership that I have already recommended them to several friends. If you think exceptional service and a great car buying experience is a thing of the past.....you will be so pleasantly surprised when visiting Jasper Honda. I can most sincerely say these folks went above and beyond my wildest expectations! I'm so happy with my new car and I couldn’t be more pleased with the dealership I choose to buy from.
