If I could give them zero stars I would!! Carl Cannon is so dishonest!! We came up Wednesday to test drive a 4 runner but they said we couldn't drive it because the latch that closes the back was damaged so for us to come back on Friday when it was repaired. So, today they call and I told them we will be up this afternoon and that I had the check for the vehicle provided it drives good and Allison told me that they would not sell it that we were first in line, but they did sell it. I WOULD NOT trust these people. They lie and they are dishonest!! They care NOTHING about their customers they just want your money!! Truly disgusting individuals!!

All the service was done correctly on my vehicle. Only problem I had was the length of time it took to do the repairs. They had my vehicle over a month. But didn't start working on repairs till two weeks after having my vehicle. With that extended amount of time it caused me to go over my rental coverage causing me to pay out of pocket a few days. But other than that everything else was fine.

The best service in North Alabama! I took two vehicles to be serviced. Logan Minshall, Service Advisor, took great care of my daughter and I. Unlike the Huntsville and Cullman shops, Jasper got the JMA maintenance warranty information for my daughter's SUV, called it in, and the oil change was free, which was suppose to happen vice me getting reimbursed. My Camaro needed a triple flush for a shuttering issue with the torque converter. I have only driven it home (about 30 min) but it stopped the problem immediate. It is well worth the drive to visit Jasper! Logan and the staff has just made Jasper my new Chevy home. I normally don't write reviews, but thought I should since the experience I had was over and beyond others.

I had an appointment on Tuesday 6 July 2021 to replace the rotors( hot spots) on my 2020 corvette. On 6 June 2021 GM Warranty had agreed to replaced the rotors. Due to some confusion with Toby I had to contact GM Warranty for a case number, the number was provided by GM. While GM was on the phone with me Toby requested for GM to contact him by phone. While on hold with GM they came back and inform me that Toby stated rotors was bad due to my driving. So GM would not be responsible for replacing the rotors. I was not happy with fact that Toby thinks that he knows how I drive my car or the fact that he trying to tell me how I should drive my car. I would like thank the Carl Cannon employees who step up to investigate the situation that help make everything better. Because of that I will always utilize Carl Cannon of Jasper to work on my car. Lets not forget Jo Lee and Kirk who were very professional with taking care of the situation. I take my hat off to them. They were with me all the way. As for Toby, I don't know him and don't care to know him and I rather not have him doing anything to my car in the future.

He was genuine and treated me very well. He was always quick to respond when I had questions. I really appreciated him and now we have the perfect SUV for us!

I purchased a car from Carl Cannon on Memorial Day 2019. The only thing I regret is not checking the final numbers before I signed the contract, because when I reviewed the paperwork after the fact I found a $508 charge (plus sales tax) for "Paint Protection" on the Bill of Sale. No one at the dealership mentioned the extra charge, and there is no other mention of the charge in the paperwork. I would not have purchased the car at Carl Cannon if I had known about the bogus charge. Shame on me for thinking I could trust Carl Cannon.

I purchased a Chevy Silverado 2500 hd from here in November 2020 including the extended warranty. May 13, 2021 rolls around and my truck supposedly needs a new ECM. My warranty covers this specific repair. Unfortunately, GM has discontinued this specific part. The service dept. informs me the warranty company has approved for the repair and that they're going to send it off to get remanufactured after two weeks of having my truck at their shop without any update. Yes, I had to call them for this information. Another TWO WEEKS go by just for me to have to reach out to them again and the first thing my service advisor ( Logan Minshall ) tells me is that the remanufacturing company wasn't able to repair my ECM and he just found out this morning (6/10/21). Why do I have to call you to receive critical information? My guess is that he was never going to call me. You should've updated me immediately once you received that news. Carl Cannon's service department is by far the worst service department I've ever encountered. My truck has been with their service department for over a month now. The service manager ( Toby Hill ) and his staff lack communication skills. One word to describe this service department would be "lackadaisical". If I could give 0 stars I would.. The warranty company has offered to help Carl Cannon find a part but they have rejected the assistance numerous of times.

I scheduled my service myself online. It said to choose up to 5 services, out of about 8. So I did. I thought there was no way there was this good of a deal to get oil change, new air filter, new wiper blades, etc., but nothing said those cost extra. I get to the dealership and the service manager tells me all that is extra, but I explained how it is set-up online, and her response was, "I am not sure what it looks like, or says online. We have nothing to do with the website. Corporate creates it for us. I didn't even know you could schedule an appointment online." Great customer service there, right? The price for what I actually was able to get is most definitely not worth it. The only reason I scheduled an appointment was for all of the services that were included online. I will do my service myself from now on. Also, they broke my personal front tag while washing my truck. They said I can buy any tag I want, bring the receipt to them, and they will pay me for it. We will see how that turns out. They should have compensated me on the spot. Me doing all the work, THEN them paying me back, is a lazy way to do it, and obviously a hang on hope of me not coming back for them to give me a reimbursement. We will see. I will come back one more time to bring the guy the receipt for my new tag that I buy, but that will be the last time. I did not feel appreciated. -EDIT: I did buy the same tag, went back to the dealership, showed them the receipt, and they payed me without question. I thank them for that, but I still should have been reimbursed at the time of the issue, because I had proof of purchase on my phone at the time.

I had my corvette towed for analysis. Motor ran though no acceleration trans okay but button would not come up. 3000 to fix it. Too much for a few fuses, bushings, and possibly new gear assembly and an accelerator assembly. I am a veteran whose job was to work on M1A1 tanks and was asked to learn how to work on Blackhawk helo's so I have knowledge of mechanics. I am a disabled veteran so I was hoping for you to do it at a reasonable price. I received my car with the steering wheel disassembled and my inner fuse box open and exposed. I was surprised to say the least with 480 bill. I want to get a Cadillac within the next 6 months and I considered you but I'm concerned heavily that will I get good service?

My husband and I went to the dealership and found a vehicle we were interested in. We drove it and liked it okay (we were in a time crunch because someone had hit me and totaled one of our cars). We went inside with the salesman and did some PRELIMINARY paperwork. He went out of his office for a few minutes. He came back with a proposed payment that was a lot more than I was comfortable with. I gave him a number that I felt could be more in keeping with what we had in mind. I also told him that I wanted to think about before he did ANYTHING else. He wanted us to meet the sales manager because “she’s a really nice lady.” We agreed. After waiting for quite a while a lady comes in and tells us she’s been working with the bank to get the payment where we wanted it. I told her the same thing I had told the salesman at which time she told me she had already run credit checks on both of us. Needless to say I wasn’t happy and would NOT have bought a vehicle from them after that. We came back to our hometown and within a very little bit had found the car we wanted. I don’t plan to EVER go back to Carl Cannon. The only reason they got 1 star from me is because you can’t give 0 stars.
Oil change is to high. Rotating the tires is and extra $55.00 dollars $140.00 to get and oil change and my tires rotated. Way to high. Will go to Pecision next time. I have purchased all my vechicals there. Times ar changing.
I worked with Keith Rice. It was one of the best no hassle purchases I've had in a long time. I asked for the price with tax and dealer fee. No four square games or two on one high pressure sales tactics. They gave me the number I needed. I gave them a check and left with the car. Didn't even see the F&I rep for the second wave of extended warranty, gap and other junk add-on sales pitch. This is how car buying should be.

Great owners and salesman
Had my car for FOUR MONTHS. Paint was chipped as though someone back in to one of their poles. When that was mentioned, it was dismissed and nobody said anything else about it. Get my car back and not everything was fixed. It runs rougher than it did before bringing it in. Not only that, but NOW my air and heat do not work. It doesn't blow ANYTHING out. When I called to discuss this with them, they informed me that I "may have to pay a diagnostic fee" I will never do business with this place again

Everyone was friendly and they efficiently serviced my Silverado Truck. I am disappointed that my first free service did not comply with what I was promised. My paperwork stated that I was to receive a "Diesel Exhaust Fluid Fill". The one that wrote me up said they could only put one gallon and not fill it. I still plan on coming back for my service, but management needs to stand behind their offers. I spent a lot of money on buying my new truck from Chevrolet and in interest to GM Financial. It is a small thing for the company to "fill" my DEF as promised.
My dad had a new motor put in his 2008 Silverado, after a couple months he noticed the cruise control wouldn't work. So we take it up there for them to look at because it was working before they put the motor in, they looked at it then tried to say it would cost $90 just to look at it then another $100 and something to fix it. That's rediculous when the parts would cost less than $20 to fix yourself. Figured they would want a good customer service and fix something that was working fine until they messed with it.

My car was in the shop for about 8 days, counting the weekend. They always do wonderful work and the employees are always nice. I know if you want expert work done on your ride you need to keep it running, mine is a 2016 trax, and I love my car and would like to keep it going. The only complaint I have is the price for repairs, and I know the employees are good at their job, and I can not fault them for labor and supplies, at this time everything is so expensive!!! The repairs took nearly all my savings, I just hope and pray, it runs good for the next ten years,!

Johnathan was my advisor. I’m a finance director for a dealership and I’ve been a GM and GSM. If I were taking over a store and needed a service manager, he would be my first choice. I wasn’t an easy client to deal with as I was stranded away from home, but he went above and beyond to make the experience as easy as possible. I haven’t been reimbursed by trip interruption yet and I’m loosing hope I ever will be, but the Carl Cannon organization did its part and for that, I am eternally grateful.
I made an Internet inquiry on this vehicle 2012 Corvette. I told him I was from another state and I wanted to make an out the door offer on the vehicle including taxes tag etc. I made the first offer they declined and then I countered and they excepted. Made it sound like the deal was going to happen I gave them all the info including a deposit to hold the vehicle till I get there next week. I get a phone call back oh the price doesn't include the tax. The new price is $1800 more. I said that's not what we agreed on however I guess the manager made a mistake. Which I highly doubt. They wouldn't honor the deal and expected me to come up more money. Horrible dealership I wouldn't do business with them. The manager didn't even have the heart to call me. However my sales person was very nice and I know it wasn't his fault. His name was Tylor.

I had a check engine light come on. We needed the car for an important trip the following day. I called the dealership and spoke with Shelby who was helpful , emphatic and got a tech to look at it that day for a evaluation to get a plan to repair the following morning. I got a call by 9am that the car was repaired and ready to go and Jonathan had someone deliver it to our home because fit the timing of the trip. That is excellent customer service A+! Shelby Gilbert, Jonathan Sickles and Joshua Salter have always give me excellent service with a smile, they have also gone above what most people would do. We love doing business with y'all because of them!

I was very satisfied with the repair of my Envision performed by your Collision Center. Your receptionist was was very efficient and set us at ease. We were expecting a rather long wait before the work would be done because we were warned that part supply could be delayed, but all in all, repairs were completed in a reasonable time! We were pleased that we had all the process, delivery from accident site to the Collision Center, rental car, and the actual repairs were accomplished locally!

I brought my corvette in for two reasons. One to get a tire repaired and second to get an oil change. Your service advisor said he couldn’t repair my tire due to insurance reasons and didn’t even take the time to look at my tire. I carried my car to a tire dealer in Jasper and didn’t hesitate to repair my tire. On the subject of the oil change I was very pleased. This was done very promptly and as expected.
I bought my car from Carl Cannon in 2016. They have been great about sending emails and mailings to me to remind me of oil changes, tire rotations, and filter changes. They also send specific car info about how my vehicle operates. I appreciate the friendly staff every time I go there.

I went in to look as some of their truck selections because I plan on buying a truck soon. I told the guy I was just looking around and told him what I was looking for he was super nice and I test drove one but when I told them I wasn't looking to put a down payment that day they acted very rude and pretty much just stopped dealing with me. I was planning on coming back with my boyfriend in a couple of weeks because of how nice they were in the beginning. NOT ANYMORE!

The salesman, Keith, was very good. He was attentive and made us feel important. The finance person (can’t remember the name), was terrible. We made the deal over the phone and drove three hours from Georgia to pick up the truck. The negotiations were done and I still had to wait FOUR hours to take 18 minutes to sign the financial paperwork. I had one couple in front of me the entire time so there wasn’t a long line of folks. The finance individual blamed it on “technical issues” with his computer system. The salesman was very apologetic and I don’t see this as a smear against Keith’s professionalism and attentiveness. I left my home in Georgia at 9 am and got home at 8:30 pm. Almost a 12 hour day for a truck that was settled on the price the day before. I believe that the wait was solely because of the finance paperwork. Either way, I don’t regret the purchase and I love the new truck!

They gave me a price on a key and programming over the phone and didn't honor the price when I got to the store. Still bought the key and programmed it myself. Google gives excellent advice on programming. Saved me the extra $120.00 that they wanted to charge me. It's not the issue of the money, its the issue that they don't honor what they say they will do.

Sad when you have a deal made $2000 cheaper with an out of town dealer and try to do business with your local dealer and they lead you on all day. Then you are headed to the dealer to purchase your truck at a higher price and they call and say we have sold your truck and cannot sell you another truck. Response to owner I was told that the truck was at a sister location. I fully understand that a truck can be sold and you have no control of the situation, but for me to be told that you can not sell me a truck at all is not good business. I believe that the truth of the matter is that their was not going to be enough money to be made of my purchase so this is a way to get out of a deal.

I have had mixed feelings about reviewing Carl Cannon due to an incident I had with a sales person a few years ago. I can say I am glad I gave them a second chance. Bought a truck a year ago and wouldn’t you know a recall came out on it. Not there fault, but none the less I had to take it back to have it fixed. I was not happy taking the morning off to have this done but was I ever surprised and impressed with the service team at this location. It nothing about it had the dealership service feel. Techs came out to talk to me about the truck offered information on service intervals, and had me in and out within 30 minutes. I can not say enough good things about this experience. Well done service team!
From the cold call to the dealership 30 minutes before closing to see if the vehicle I wanted was on the lot up to the following day I couldn't have been happier with the Greg Williams, and the people at Carl Cannon. Greg kept me informed of the process, and was willing to meet my needs to make the deal go through. Easiest, lowest stress car buying experience Ive had. Also one of the quickest.
My friend purchased a BMW from here January 2017. The owner of the vehicle works there and well and she spoke highly about me purchasing a car too. The second day she had the car the rear view mirror fell. She contacted her salesperson, Jr for him to say yes I'm sorry one of the men that detailed the car the day she purchased it, knocked it down so they glued it back. A foreign were talking about here folks and you glued it? Knowing you swindled her into purchasing? This explains the long wait for them to show her the car two weeks later. The car started to jerk. She contacted Jr back. And of course he stated he would speak with sales and contact her back and never did. Now she had this car for 2 months and the transmission is gone. WTH? She called several times and he would not return her calls after she spoke with him that day letting him know she will take it to the nearest dealership for seconomic opinion to resolve the issue. He did say he was Sorry." Jr. didn't return her call which was back in January. Seriously Jr.? She feels that he knew what was going on the reason her call was never returned. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They are not honest people to deal with. I understand why people hate to talk to a salesperson cause they will do anything to make a sale and not put the customers first. Customers are always first. Honesty and Loyalty is a major key!!!!
The initial experience was great. after the sale was made i was dropped like a hot rock. I was trying to buy multiple vehicles and after I was sold the vehicle you had available the customer experience turned south. After multiple weeks of no communication I received a call from what seemed to be a junior sales rep asking if he could help me
My 75 year old sister bought a used car from keith rice. She told him she didn't want any extra. Next day after she signed a group of papers she found that they added $1008.00. She asked salesman rice to remove it..he said they add that to everyone.. RIP OFF of an old trusting customer is a NO mr.rice
I am not happy with the experience at all. First, after I explained to the service dept. what I wanted repaired and nothing else I was informed of two items that needed replacing. Fuel pump and water pump. Not what I asked to repair to start with. I needed the fuel vent system repaired which could have been part of the fuel pump issue and to repair the AC. After receiving a phone call of a list of repairs that my car needed: Tires, plugs among others which had noting to do with what I asked to be repaired. I happen to know for a fact that the water pump was fine due to the fact I had it replaced about 2 years ago. yes maybe it went bad again but I don't think so. So we agreed just to replace the fuel and water pump due to the cost of repair on the AC I only wanted two item repaired. Yesterday when I went to pick up my car the bill was higher than I was told. After looking at the repair ticket I found items that were done that I did not ask for. (flushing the coolant system was one. I confronted the service Rep. Logan about the issue and he said he would try to get a refund. This is just a few reason why I never carry a car to a dealership.

Our salesman was Butch. He was the best. We bought 2 cars , one for us and one for our granddaughter. We have bought many cars in the past; but this is definitely the best experience we have ever had buying a car. He was not pushy and gave us plenty of his time. He went over everything in our new car and explained and set up everything for us. When we buy another car we will definitely go to Carl Cannon and ask for Butch!

Then he had someone to pick me up to get my car.The receptionist was very nice.I couldn't ask for a better experience.
I have purchased 6 new vehicles from Carl Cannon in Jasper. They are great to give you their best deal and they take care of the vehicle after the sale. Everyone is great from my salesman (Boogie Franklin), The finance dept and the service department. I won't shop anywhere else for my vehicles. I called for an appointment. All I did was get in line like everyone else driving up. “ What is the point in making an appointment “?? I asked for the tires to be rotated also. That didn’t get done. So they had to pull it back through the line. Should have been routine. Other than that thanks for the first free service. I’m sure the next ones will be expensive
The staff at Carl Cannon always goes above and beyond my expectations. I’ve been doing business with them for many years, and will continue to do so. They’re simply the best in the business. Period.

Worst experience of my life! Found a car on car guru, did an internet inquiry and went in the next day. When I got there I was quoted a price that was 1600 higher than the Internet price but was so impressed with the service from the salesman, Greg that I decided to let the increase ride. Everyone has to feed their family, right? I specifically told the sales manager that I regularly check my credit and I only wanted my credit ran once! He assured me that Carl Cannon didn't use tactics used by other dealerships and that my credit would only be ran once! I left with my car thinking all was well only to check my credit two days later to find that they had ran my credit 10 times! 10 hard inquiries on my credit in one day! I returned the car the next day and of course the salesman was very apologetic and the sales manager has his cell phone off and is conveniently off for the next four days! Think long and hard before buying a car from here people, because the damage they will do to your credit in one day will take you two years to repair!

I told the service guy that my truck had a whining sound coming from my engine and I had the same issue on a prior vehicle that required changing the idler pulley. I asked if he had the part and could change it out while I waited. He said they had the part and would analyze the problem. He later told me it was confirmed that it was the idler pulley and they would get started on it. He later came and got me from the waiting area and said they did not have the part and would have to overnight it and could change it out the next day. I told him I did not want to wait and would take care of it myself. It said there was a $140 diagnostic charge that would be waived if I had them perform the work for $210. I did not believe the $140 cost was justified as I had told him what I thought the problem was initially and they had not done anything to my truck but take it to the shop area. I went ahead and paid the $140 and decided to never return to this dealership again. As a side note, I had a bad experience with this dealership years ago and stopped bringing my GM vehicles here to be repaired. I actually bought my GMC vehicle last year at a different dealership just because I did not want to do business with them. This time I thought they may have improved over the last few years and would give them another shot. They apparently have not improved. I won't be back to them ever.
Purchased a brand new truck from them in February of this year. 2cd time it's been in the shop. 1st time the ac didn't work and now the torque converter needs replaced. Good luck getting waited on. Made an appointment and still can't get waited on. They were supposed to have me a loaner when I arrived after work and doesn't look like that's happening either. I will never purchase another vehicle from them again.
Bought a 2019 chevrolet Silverado 3500 hd. As soon as I drove it off the lot the check engine light came on had blown fuel injector,obviously there service department doesn't do no 100 point inspection like they claim or they would have caught it before they put it on the lot did not offer a loaner car
I had to tow a Cadillac CTS to this dealership less than a year ago from Fayette, AL. They diagnosed the problem as flooded hoses and charged me 750$ to fix it. Yesterday I had to tow my car again for the exact same problem and Selman’s in Fayette told me that it was the same problem and an easy fix and actually didn’t even charge me because it took them 5 minutes. I don’t support dishonest business and will not be taking anymore vehicles there. When a small mom and pop shop that makes considerably less money than a big dealership is honest and doesn’t steal money from you it makes a big statement in my eyes. Unethical business practice doesn’t go unnoticed and Carl cannon dealership not only didn’t fix the problem but also stole money . They definitely got caught up here. Hope this was helpful.
My wife took my truck in for me and when I got in it this morning someone had turned off the fan for the heater and since I have an after market remote start the the windows were still frosted over and to say the least it was pretty cold inside. One other thing they failed to reset the oil percent.

Have always got good service. Sometimes they seem a little slow when I take my car in for an oil change, but i had rather wait a little longer than to rush it and not get it service pay for.
We have done business with Carl Cannon for many years, buying many new and used vehicles with positive results. We also love their service department, great people and service.
The people were friendly but looked t the vehicles by myself after saying I was interested in buying. Also had my car worked on $1000 later and it still broke down.
Jonathan in the. Service department is true to his word he will bind over backwards to help get you what u need done so if if u have a Chevy of any kind i promise this is the place they have good mechanics and all love the heck out of them all for what they can do that i cant do thanks guys
