The entire transaction was handled extremely smoothly, professionally, and quickly, which was good as I was in a real hurry trying to juggle a busy work day and pending personal plans. They were attentive to my needs and didn't try to play the usual dealer games. From first handshake to last handshake the whole process took about an hour. After the sale I had a minor issue with a piece of trim missing some screws and a front license plate holder. They gladly took care of both issues promptly. Wow, buying a used car has really evolved! I just recently had the pleasure of buying my new Van from Galaxy Motors. I went there to specifically look at the vehicle I ended up purchasing. As soon as I drove onto the lot, I was greeted with smiles. Trent met me, and went over the features of the van. He was friendly, helpful and no pressure sales, which I 100% appreciate. I was able to test drive the vehicle on my own. The van was pretty clean, but I had a couple of concerns over some small stains on the stow and go seats. While I was doing the paperwork, Trent had the detailing department take care of that for me, and I was super happy with the result. Jacob worked on finding financing that worked in my budget and offered me a great value for my trade in. I know he was very busy that day, but I never felt rushed. Abraham took time to explain the benefits of purchasing extended warranty. He took into account my previous vehicle use and mileage and found the best two options for me. I was at the dealership for quite a few hours as I made my decisions. Thankfully they offered me some pizza for lunch! I felt genuinely taken care of by a super friendly group of people. Thank you guys so much!!! By the way, I named the van Sirius ( the dog star) after the brightest star in the galaxy. Seemed fitting seeing as she is galaxy silver and purchased from Galaxy Motors in the dog days of summer!

Hi there - I bought a 2008 Honda Civic in terrific condition. I was a hard sell because I have driven large domestic vehicles all my life. Lovely car. Enjoy every minute I drive it. Unfortunately, the newly installed battery failed a couple of weeks later. When I contacted them they couldn't have been more helpful. Within an afternoon they switched the battery for another new one with the help of my buddy Tommy and now I am back in business. I went in last week to look at a Ford F-150. I walked in the door to find like five guys staring at me while the man behind the counter said "who's up? Come on guys, who's up?" It felt pretty unprofessional to me. I ended up talking to a guy who seriously calls himself 'Honest John'. He showed me the truck that I came to see and I quickly decided that it wasn't for me. We then went on to look at a different, silver F-150 Platinum. Super nice truck, and I was interested. I only had a few minutes so I asked 'Honest John' to email me some details as well as any other vehicles from other Galaxy lots that may suit my needs, and he agreed. I never heard back. Turns out 'Honest John' may not be so honest after all. I watched him write down my email and it was correct. I just bought a truck from a different dealer so it looks like they missed out on my business. Too bad as the Platinum looked like a really nice truck! Two stars. He was a genuinely nice guy, and they have a good selection of vehicles, but what's the point if they don't want to sell them?

Was price shopping for a Mercedes Benz. Knew exactly what I wanted, year, model, km's etc. and had a trade in. Not many in BC, a couple on the mainland and one at Galaxy. I was ready to buy and paying cash plus my trade. Spoke to all 3 dealerships who had what I wanted and asked re "all in" price including fees, taxes, trade etc.. Galaxy beat them by over 3,000.00! After an absolutely awful day wasted at another dealership we stopped into Galaxy Motors on a whim. We were looking for a very specific vehicle and it was late in the day. Within the first minute of getting out of our car and looking at the Jeep, the sales guy was outside and at our service. Last week I discovered pools of water on floor in back, seat was wet and mold. Hatchback was full. Took it back to Galaxy, theyhad no idea and sent me to specialist, Rods auto glass and upholstery. He told me I need another car, too big of a job. Went back to Galaxy they wanted to buy another car. Can't afford it. They kept my car for a couple of days to try and dry it out, tried to sell me another car. Can't afford it. Picked it up today, by the time I got to Ladysmith back of car was soaked again .

I have to share my experience at Galaxy Motors in Duncan. I am new to the area and found i needed to get my vehicle serviced, it also had a couple issues i needed looked at. A co-worker told me about Galaxy, they bought there and they trusted the service dept there. I called and spoke to Chris in service, he seemed very interested in gtting me booked in to look after my issues, he offered a shuttle service to get me home and back, reminded me about the protocols of covid ie masks and riding in the rear of the shuttle-I was very impressed. When i arrived Chris was all he lead on to be. He was very professional and listened to my issues intensely. He explained to me about what he thought would be a good servicing plan would be for me and explained diagnosis costs, so i knew exactly what i would be paying for, i was so impressed.Chris explained that the shuttle driver was just driving someone else home so there would be a little wait for a ride, he explained that i could wait in the showroom due to social distancing, no problem,but when i went into the show room all the salesstaff are sitting around with no masks on and there was a gentleman in an office barking out orders and swearing with every 2nd word. i waited outside for my ride, I received a call a couple hours later from Chris and he explained exactly what my car required, he gave me prices and told me when i could have my car back if i decided to do the work. No pressure at all, i felt confident getting my car repaired. Chris gave me a call when my car was ready, asked if i was ready to get picked up and gave me the total cost of my repair-it was exactly what he quoted. Iwas so happy i chose galaxy for my car repairs and highly recommend the service dept there. Chris made me feel important and took the extra time to explain everything, as a woman i have been made foolish regarding my car repairs. Thank you Chris-Ill be back
