I had a service appointment for an oil change. When I arrived an older and rude staff member told me it would be 2-3 hours because a lot of people were ahead of me despite a set appointment time. When I asked about the promised ride he said told they weren't doing that.

Had to wait an hour or so for an oil change, BUT they have free coffee,hot chocolate,water,tea while you wait in these wicked comfy chairs and as long as you're polite to the service desk. The service is fast and top notch.

Myers kanata Hyundai. This dealership is a total scam. I was trying to buy a car and I was surely told I can go back in my decision as long as they haven't done the safety yet and get my down payment back while I was high-key rushed into signing the contract since the dealership was closing and the salesman wanted to go home so badly, after I went there to do so, they started lying and swearing on everything they did not say that. They really try to scam you to the level where I asked to have a copy of the carfax report to myself 3 times and she kept to try to change the topic or find a way out of it. Even the mechanics there can’t agree on one thing to tell me. First saleswoman told me the engine was changed on july 2020 and told me that the transmission is included with it. and asked me to talk to micsnical engineer he told me that they change the engine. But After 2 days, The other mechanic tells me that transmission doesn’t come with it and they change only some parts inside the engine! He told me they only replaced parts on the bottom of it now who am I supposed to believe? They even said they “checked” other parts in the car I asked them to check like the transmission, even after they “checked” it, it kept shifting late and causing the same issue, after the test drive, the issue is still there. All that and they lie and play around a lot and can’t make a customer comfortable with their BS. Really bad experience especially with the fact that I was insured that I can get my down payment back what a scam. This dealership is my worst experience so far because of lying and trying to convince customers of false things and take advantage. Today I met the general manager and told him that I can't use this car for UBER due to the accident in it . and to refund me down payment but he refused

I absolutely love this place. We've been taking our cars here for years. Friendly, courteous staff. Reasonable pricing. They even have a little restaurant if you get hungry while you wait. Being a dealership, they handle all issues that your vehicle may have. Oh, and in case you don't like to wait, their shuttle service will drop you wherever you want to go, and pick you up when your vehicle is ready. Love the place. I recommend.

Got a vehicle safety inspection certificate for Uber and got it at a nice discount. ($75 after tax). Came with a free car wash too which is nice. You need to request it though. Keep in mind they don't use those soft sponges rather they use britsol brushes so some people might not want that touching their car. They provide shuttle services and gave me a ride to and from my workplace free of charge. Overall very good pricing and service.

We booked an oil change at the baseline location for December 23, how much could it be right? When my husband got there, the attendant said a bunch of other stuff needs to be done. It being 2 days before Christmas we said that we would bring it back in a couple weeks for the rest of the stuff (none of it being urgent). The gentleman talked my husband into doing at least the transmission fluid, fine! Again, how much could that possibly be!? After a few hours we got the call to come pick it up...$635!!!! Are you kidding?! The man said my husband approved it, he did not. Very unhappy with the service we received. We love our car, and want to get another similar once this one is paid off in a few months. we will NOT be coming back, and being locked in for all our required maintenance with this location again.

We went to buy an awd suv here and won't again. There was an acadia in the show room for sale we wanted and after looking at it it seemed like a nice machine we were told it had awd which is what we needed and after buying it well there was no awd so we got stuck paying 60 grand for a front wheel drive suv which is garbage in the snow. I will never believe another salesman here after being lied to they knew this was the only reason for us buying an suv because we needed awd but they still sold it to us knowing it was a fwd. Also when i got an appointment to change my oil i had to wait over 3 hours lol with an appointment. All i can say is never again i do not recommended.

A service appointment was made to repair my vehicle from the damage done by Myers while replacing the back windshield of my 36 month old car. Upon arriving at the Myers Barrhaven dealership, the assistant service manager, Mike Warren, looked at my vehicle and took a couple pictures of the damage. He then proceeded to basically tell me that I was the one who did the damage as it could not possibly have been those who replaced the windshield. That did not bode well with me as I take care of my vehicle with extreme attention. I know where every scratch is! He then told me he believed that my vehicle has been in an accident as the shine on the tailgate had been buffed and removed. It has NOT been in an accident to my knowledge unless Myers LIED to me when I purchased the car from them. I asked my fleet manager at work to look at the damage on my vehicle and he told me the damage was from the tool used to remove the old windshield and that he has seen that same thing on our fleet vehicles. The damage then causes the vehicle to rust over the years where the scratches are. Not happy about that. When I picked up my vehicle yesterday, the scratches are still there!! As for customer service….it seems to be extremely lacking at Myers Barrhaven. My experience this week: I did not receive a call from the service department when my vehicle was ready to be picked up - after being told I would; when I arrived at the service department, Mike, could not find my car keys; when he finally did find the keys he handed them to me without a word. He did not go over the “repair” service done to my vehicle with me or even say ‘have a nice day’.....probably because the scratches are still on my vehicle. Not sure what work they did on my car as it looks the same after service as it did when I brought it in for repair. Since my job is dealing with clients every day, I found this treatment to be unprofessional and downright incompetent. My six adult children used other words to describe it! Women, seniors, and all people in general have the right to be treated with respect. I felt inconsequential and snubbed. If I were a man, it would have played out differently. Joan Megill

I highly recommend Myers to anyone. I included pictures from when I bought the truck to the customizing I did to it. The guys in service are awesome, always super friendly and fair. I have no reason to bring my car anywhere else. Even the sales team is great. They've helped me with issues even after the purchase... Years after! And the lady who works the canteen upstairs is actually the best. Today while I was waiting for my car, I went up to get food and she just closed..... But because I wanted fries she took my order anyway AND I was short, so she covered it (I lost my debit and was short on cash). I don't know what else I can say to get the point across... Had the absolute worst experience at this Myers location. I had purchased a car in April 2021 and was told there were Winter Tires on rims at their storage facility in Barrhaven and to give them a 48hr notice when the time came to ship them to this location on Baseline. My insurance requires me to have Winter Tires on effective November 1. On October 8, 2021, I had emailed Nathan (who sold me the car) that I needed to pick up the Winter Tires. I was given the run-around and the excuse of "not enough staff, nothing I can do". I called Myers on November 6, 2021 and asked to speak with a Manager. Tanya, the receptionist, was very polite and friendly. Manager was not reachable, so I left a voice mail. No call back. I had several back and forth emails with him and it was getting nowhere, by this time, it was November 8, 2021. 8 days that I was not able to drive my car due to the insurance breach. I was then advised that the Service/Parts department was going to call. Received a call from Moe, he had no idea where my tires were or if they even had them. He advised that he would speak to Nathan and get back to me same day. No call back. Emailed Nathan again and asked for the Regional Managers contact information. No response. This morning, November 9, 2021, I decided to call for the second time and ask for a Manager. Spoke with Jason, the only person who somehow knew what he was doing and where my tires were. Miraculous. It only took a month and a day to even get a response as to where they were. Went to pick them up tonight, went to the Parts/Service desk and was greeted with utter disrespect as I explained the situation in a calm manner. Was told, yet again, that "nobody wants to work nowadays and we are short staffed, go through those doors and they'll help you." I want to mention that I picked up the tires at 4:30PM, and not a single soul was in this establishment other than the employees and myself. Astonishing. As instructed, I went to the drive-through garage portion of this establishment and explained the situation for the umpteenth time. The gentleman at the desk had no idea what I was talking about and asked me to go back to the Parts and Service desk. I asked to speak with someone who knew where my tires were because this has been a journey. He located the tires, another miracle. They were not bagged and they were ridiculously dirty. All of this occurred with not a single apology for the inconvenience. I now have to take time off of work to install these Winter tires immediately so that my insurance is not in breach. The constant excuses of "we're short staffed" is not sufficient. They're not busy, they're lazy. Props to Tanya and Jason for actually doing their jobs accordingly.

Came in for a routine oil change recently and was shocked when I got my invoice. $90 for oil and filter is criminal, especially after waiting around for over an hour for it. The service associate was clueless when I asked him why the same 5W-30 Dexos motor oil, on the same vehicle is $25 more than at another GM dealer 6km away. For $5 more, I could have just gone to an Oil Changers and been out in a fraction of the time. I wouldn't go here for service again if my car broke down in front of the place.

We bought a used car at Barrhaven Toyota. We were frustrated that we had to have a conditional sale before we could have the car checked out independently, however they did replace the battery once we came back with the results of our check. We had a couple of outstanding questions after we picked up the car and had to chase down answers. We remain dissatisfied with the operation of the navigation/apps console. Most frustrating however was the fact that within a week we were contacted by Sirius XM about our free trial. It took the dealership almost three weeks and some prompting to find out that they automatically send all personal contact info to Sirius when a used car is sold that has had Sirius before. (Sirius told me within 24 hours that my info had come from the dealership). No consent was given on my part for my information to be shared. Sirius has my name, address, email, phone number, make and model of car and radio ID #. Once I was told how this had happened I contacted Myers Automotive to ask why data was shared without consent. Have written twice. No-one has responded. I see no commitment to responding to customer concerns.

I like the Service department. I have taken my last 2 vehicles there for service, and have always been treated fairly. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I drop it off in the morning around 6:30 AM and they shuttle me to work and pick me up after. Twice they have not been able to pick me up in a timely manner, and paid for a taxi to bring me back to the Dealership.

Disappointing service from the off when purchasing a used car. One of our first experiences we had of Canada after moving here with work and I feel they had our eyes out! Unresponsive to emails and calls. Battery and exhaust faulty after two months of very low use after 'rigorous' tests before any car is sold....? Informed me after purchase that there is only one key and the tank of fuel it 'comes with' is actually $100 on your bill. No response to my emailed feedback. Do not recommend at all.

Pretty disappointed in both pre and post sales service at Nissan and VW so I can only imagine it's a group level issue. Find a smaller dealer network that seems to have some common sense and the ability to make dealer level decisions on sales practices. Personally, I'll be avoiding all of your dealerships in future.
