Very slow and ridiculously slacked service. VERY disorganized. They took over TWO months to process my purchase and continuously misplaced paperwork. I had a cosigner for my purchase and they got all his information wrong and when we demanded they resubmit the papers, they came back STILL incorrect. We waited FOREVER to hear back and we found out it was because the manager was on vacation and didn't want to do business while he was gone! Why are you still even open and doing business if you cannot complete sales right away? Waited over 2 weeks for the car to get into the garage and found out it still hadn't been e-tested or safetied. They demanded a deposit from me even though I signed the bill of sale. I'm never doing business with them again and I don't recommend anyone go through them. Very bad experience. Overall very slow, very disorganized, and just plain bad service.

I don't suggest going here at all - this place is disrespectful. The salesman/accountant took one glance at me and decided I wasn't worth his effort. I don't understand why profile and judge someone before speaking to them and having a full conversation. I wasn't treated well and was quickly shrugged off. Those are the reasons why I don't suggest this place. 0 customer service effort.

If you need a vehicle, go see Jerry!! Forget those fake replys from dealerships that say your financing is approved, what they really mean is that you’re approved to go into the dealership, pick a vehicle, THEN they try to find a lender. My first stop was Car-On , they wasted a week and couldn’t get me financed, then I went to The Car Club in Bells Corners , they approved me but lied about the amount of vehicles they had and tried to sell me something way off my budget , I went for a mini van and they tried to sell me a volt. Argh!! Finally I go to MTC (wish I went there first) Jerry found a lender in ten minutes!!! I got the vehicle I really wanted at the monthly price I could afford. NO frigging around, no upselling, plus he seems like a real nice guy. Now it’s Wednesday and I’m picking my mazda5 up on Friday! I’ll post again to tell you how well they present it. I had a good experience! I strongly recommend this dealership!

Worst place to buy a car. They lie and try to scam you. When they make the sell they stop caring. I bought a 2012 Dodge from them a few months ago, and I already paid more than $1000 in repairs. I'm totally honest, please do not buy from this place, they will steal your money. Yoh are better off with a 2k car from kijiji than a 15k car from this dealership.

Was lied to right off the bat, by someone telling me they were closed when I wanted to come by, turns out he just wanted the comission. I was also shown cars with severe problems and told the saftey would be done after a deal had been made and the car had been paid for. Sketchy. Very sketchy. I am lucky to have bought my first two vehicles at MTC auto sales Mark is truly a professional and educated salesman. When buying my first (2007 Toyota Camry) Mark was very informative. He explained the ins and outs of everything I didn't understand, like how financing interest and credit reports work. He even taught me how to drive manual. Being my first financed car he suggested I get gap insurance on it to ensure I was not at a loss in case the car was in a write off accident. Sure enough 7 months later driving through the snow I slid and was in a collision. Thank god Mark talked me into that gap insurance, because I was able to drive off in a 2008 Subaru Forester within 2 weeks of the accident. I could only imagine now the grief I would have felt taking the bus to work and paying off the rest of a car I only had for half a year. Thanks again Mark your a life saver. Ill be seeing you again when I decide to upgrade from the Subaru. =D

The sales people promised to deliver a clean car which was properly aligned before I paid for it. They delivered to me a car which was filthy with candy wrappers on the floor, and empty pop bottles. I took it back to them to clean it and they did nothing to it. At some point the person (his name is Jerry) who sold it to me was yelling at me in the parking lot because I was demanding that they clean it. The day I bought the car, the check engine sign came on. If you value your money, do not go here. They will lie to you when selling the car and deliver a terrible product to you. They buy cars that have been in an accident and sell them at exorbitant prices.

My experience here wasn't a good one it was more sketchy than anything else... I went there with my friends mom to take a look at 2012 Ford focus hatchback. We end up meeting a sales man who sent his mechanic to go see the car a block away to another parking lot. We get there he can't start the car tells us to wait as he comes back with another battery.. So we checked the car it was pretty beat up shape.. Oil was as black cloudy the coolant was at minimum. You've seen already the car was in a few accidents. The mechanic comes back to find that the extra battery was already in the backseat of the car... So he plugs in the first battery doesn't start.. You know what this mechanic did.. He took the third battery plugged it to the second that's already plug to the battery in the car! Instead of removing it to plug the other then gets the negative and positive mix up sparks everywhere here I am couldn't stop laughing thinking this guy was about to fly himself the hood of the car... Then driving it turning the car is just scratching against something as my mom's friend hears from the outside.. The mechanic couldn't answer any questions as he didn't know nothing. So we get back to the sales person well he thought he had us until we pointed out the problems we seen and the bald tires.. He tells us well if it passes safety it stays on, we doubt it would because if it did that be pretty sketchy how it would pass... He was prepared to do a credit check just for the fun of it.. No. Out of my experience do your own research before you go there....

I booked a test drive and arrived after 2 bus journeys to MTC. The car I booked could not be driven because a part was missing.Not only that but on enquiry of the history of the maintenance of the car, notably the timing belt, l was told I could not be given any history, Nor would l receive any information, nothing.I was expected to buy a manual car with no information to that of the maniacal history, when the timing belt was last changed or oil.I had cash in my pocket, and was ready to buy.The sales man was a joke. What a waste of time and busses.Can you envisage what the after sales service would have been like.I count my blessing my cash remained in my pocket.(Please note, I had to click on a star to publicise this post) Appalling treatment and service.

I bought my first car from MTC in January 2015 and as part of the sale I negotiated for summer tires and rims to be included. Come spring, I decide to switch my winter tires to the summer ones acquired as part of the vehicle purchase. While in the process of switching the tires it became apparent that my car has 4 bolts, while the wheels (from the dealership) have 5 bolts. I called the dealership to explain the current situation (on a Saturday), and was told that the garage manager would be available from 9am-7pm on the following Monday. On Monday, I called the dealership at 11am and was told by a staff member that I would be called back regarding the current situation after they had spoken to the garage manager. After hearing nothing from the garage, I call back to follow up and am told that I have to come to the dealership with my car to speak to the garage manager in person. While I was originally told the garage manager would be in until 7pm (by a staff member), he had instead opted to leave at 3pm shortly thereafter I had spoken to a staff member who told me I had to come in to the dealership to explain the situation to the garage manager. I only found this information out when I called the garage back again to confirm a meeting time with the manager. I asked to speak to the garage manager directly and was placed on hold. After 10 minutes of being on hold, I hung up, called the garage back and was finally able to speak to the garage manager and explain my situation. He states that the garage “did me a favor” by including the wheels in the purchase AND stated that they had not checked the wheels when they originally purchased the car and then subsequently sold it to me. The garage manager continues and offers to give me new rims BUT will charge me to transfer my tires to the new rims. After I express that this is not an appropriate solution and would prefer that they rectify the situation by putting the tires on the correct rims free of charge the manager hung up on me. At this point I called back again, and ask to speak with the garage manager’s manager. I am given the name Charlie, with no additional details for apparent privacy reasons. The dealership has failed to fix the situation, and it is disconcerting to believe that the dealership both purchased and sold a car without first verifying that the tires were correct. Let this be a warning to future customers of MTC Auto Sales.

PLEASE BEWARE! - I leased a car from this company..MTC Auto. The car has serious problems and the car dealership refuses to replace the car, fix the car that they sold me or return any of my money. They are very dishonest and racist! These People are two-faced. Watch out for there crookedness and lies! I just found out that the car that i had purchased from this car dealer was sold to me with safety and e-test. I didn't trust their judgement after telling them that I didn't feel safe in the car. I brought the car to another garage to get a full inspection, 1 week after I owned the car. IT FAILED Safety test. I then found out that MTC Auto Writes their own Safety Tickets. I wonder if MTO Knows that they are selling cars with FAKE Safety Tests. BEWARE People This is Truely not an honest Car Dealer!

Dealt with them on a Tiguan recently. Our person of contact, Nick, did a great job at getting us into a vehicle we wanted. Staff were -mostly- very friendly, not a lot of room for negotiation on the price but the vehicle was a deal anyways. Would recommend and would go see again, buying a car is always a bit of a "buyer-beware", get the car, take it to an independent mechanic or a dealership for that vehicle and it will reduce the likelihood of surprises!

"Customer service" team are intensely ignorant. When presented with information about an issue that was 100% covered under the warranty, they refused to even pull it into the garage to do an inspection. They immediately pushed for a trade in, at a higher monthly cost and for a longer period of time. When that was adamantly refused, they arrogantly instructed us to take the vehicle to be repaired elsewhere, still never having looked at it themselves. (Don't worry, he's getting the bill for everything that gets repaired that's covered under our warranty.) If I owned that place, I would be embarrassed by the staff I had representing my business. In short, dont buy a car from this place. Dont even call to ask about one. They will not respond to emails or do call backs for voicemails. Also, they're combative and evasive when you're dealing with them in person UNLESS it's for a sale. Any repair work... good luck getting a real answer. Do yourself a favor, dont give this place your business.

I had to drive it to the wreckers because the dealer would not repair it. the dealer said there was too much wrong with it. Please beware.have a dealer mechanic look over any vehicle you might consider buying. I brought it to MTC . they told me the dealer was wrong. they fixed a part and damaged it at the same time. They said they would order a new part. this caused unrepairable damage. the finale straw that broke. the bank. Please beware.The staff are great at their job. . They smile and say good things like, don't worry about warning light. and we will fix anything .I'm not saying that you shouldn't buy from them. Please beware.

Bought first car here a couple years ago. Mixed experience. Jeff from sales was helpful and motivated. Unfortunately I was sold a lemon and it seems obvious the dealer was aware. Engine trouble within the first week. Starter gave out immediately after followed by other issues that were undisclosed to me. The warranty I was recommended and sold would not cover any breakage until the engine failed and then it only covered 3/8 of the repair cost. I was a student who faced a loss of car and investment plus warranty costs. Take your money to a real dealership and save yourself the trouble and $$$.

I was in a pinch to find a vehicle that fit my needs. I got lucky and MTC auto seemed to have what I was looking for. I worked with Jeff throughout this process and he was very helpful, for which I am grateful. Took my car to my mechanic after purchase and even though there were no immediate issues with the safety, they mentioned I would need a new battery ASAP. When I reached out to Jeff, he was more than accommodating and gave me a new battery, free of charge. The only reason I did not rate a full five stars is because, while my vehicle did technically pass the safety, there will be some future issues that I will need to fix on my own dime. This place is a sham. They sell accidented cars with absurd amounts of damage on them for top dollar prices. The staff members lie and make promises that nobody follows through upon. Save your money and perhaps your life by not buying their unsafe cars. Their cars are dirty and are usually hiding something major. They once tried to sell me an infinity g35 and justify that 15 thousand in accident repairs was very minor and nothing to worry about. The car should have been totalled at that point.. not resold..The car was selling for 9k.. If you do decide to buy have the cars checked out thoroughly and make sure you check the carproof for accidents. The positive reviews are all fake (at least most of them) the same last names tend to pop up time and time again giving 5 stars. Good luck

I went there to purchase a car. after giving my concerns about the safety of the vehicle, they started bad mouthing me in their language. later that week, i was to sign paperwork. when i showed, the sales guy was nowhere to be found and paperwork were not done. The car had not been safetied or e-tested either. he then tried to keep my deposit when i told him i'm going to buy elsewhere!!! buyers beware!. they are nice only if you speak their language... what is happening to our society?

Don't honour warranties, cars are all "Frankensteins", once they get the sale they couldn't care less about you. Disrespectful, unethical and uneducated. Unprofessional to say the least, and no integrity! DO NOT DO YOUR BUSINESS HERE- YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

I have no problem recommending MTC Auto in Ottawa. Abraham and all the staff, and I do mean ALL the staff, are both friendly and professional. The selection of vehicles is extensive, and their prices are hard (impossible?) to beat. I bought a car from MTC last year; my first experience with them. I doubt it will be last. Check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Service is very bad, I don't advice anyone to buy his car from MTC auto. I have a crack in the front that was hidden and seller did not inform me about it. They care only about receiving your money after that they treat you very bad. Insurance coverage that I bought was not explained properly and it was useless. Related to Financing I did not receive any document during 2 years and interest rate was not the best.

I am not giving you guys a penny more since the car I was sold was full of issues from the start this shouldn't be coming out of my pockets. ************************** Bought my car last year from MTC auto sales and have had nothing but trouble with the car. Soon after I got the car I went to Sudbury, the AC stopped working on a very hot day! On my way back there was a bit of rain and paint started to drip off the car, they had spray painted some of the chipped paint, and now it's rust all over. When I asked to get it fixed he said sure bring it in and we'll touch up, hum no, it needs to be properly repaired! Anyhow I didn't argue much about it because I was going through a really hard separation and I didn't have the energy to fight back. I also had a leak in my exhaust and come to find out it was already "patched" up before. Now, my coils need to be changed after a year of having the car, the rotors are warped and I am stuck with a rusting car. Would not recommend to anyone. They fix cars temporary to make them look good in order to have an easy sale. Save yourself the trouble, there's many places in the city, go elsewhere!

We bought our car there 2 months ago and now the car has a lot of problems they put the cheapest thing on their cars and we had to spend more than 3000 on repairing the car. We went to MTC to tell them about the problems and they did nothing, they just said “it’s your problem now, maybe you used wrong the car” Bad service, bad people. Never buy there again. If you’re thinking on buying a car go to other place.

Bought a 2011 Lancer here, dealt with Jerry. They did over 1000$ in repairs and most of which I hadn’t even asked for on the bill of sale. Excellent service and they will deliver your purchase anywhere you want, if your in between insurance coverage. Highly recommended and they give you 36 day “anything” warranty and a 6 month power train warranty on top.

I would by a car here again. Ibrahim was the sales representative I dealt with. He likes cars and is knowledgeable. Used cars are not brand new and there was a minor issue with the car but I still give them 5 stars because they completely honored their warranty with zero hassle. We literally got ripped off by these people! i bought a Ford F150 2003 and was promised to have it fixed internally and externally after payment! according to them, the car was in a great condition internally and just needed touch ups on the exterior! after we bought the car, NOTHING was done on the exterior so, we asked why? and they said "we did a lot of work on the interior"! after we took the car, we noticed it wasn't running normal so we took it back to them only for them to say that its PERFECT! On my way traveling to USA, the car broke down and after consulting three AAA mechanics, i learn that the engine is totally busted and that the engine doesn't even belong to the same model of the car!!! the repair cost 3000! BE AWARE!

Beware of the Jeff, he is great at lying. If you have a check engine light it means that there is nothing wrong and you probably caused it... Also beware of his famous catch phrase "Hi Jeff from mtc. Didn't forget about you, I'm waiting for reply" he will say this to make you wait ages on the necessary parts that he "promise" to fix "under warranty". I'm brief don't buy from there.

I purchased my car in late January and he claimed it needed some front end and back end work done ie: pads, rotors, struts, bushing and other general things to pass safety. He claim he had fixed them to pass the safety inspection and I was on my way. A week later i heard rattling in the whole car and I took it back to him. He stated "We fixed everything and checked it out with Mazda and the only reason it is still making that sound is because it has rough sport suspension. A few weeks later i took my car to change the tires and the mechanic brought it to my attention that my breaks were so bad that the pads feel out of the callipers. After arguing with the owner and the salesmen they replaced my breaks. A few days after that I was worried and took my car to Mazda to have an inspection and the mechanic there told me and showed me that every front end component was not good and no where near safety protocol to the point that the bushings have fallen out of there brackets. I took my Car back to MTC and asked the owner what parts did he exactly fix on the car and his only answer was "I can't do anything I do not remember what was done to that car" I later asked his mechanics and they all refused to speak with me and the owner threatened to call the police on me for asking him questions about the safety inspection of my car. I later asked him for a copy of the safety inspection and he refused that as well.. I paid for my car $12,400 The cost of repairs so far out of my pocket $1,300 There is also still about $1,000 of repairs for my car to be road safe I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY THEY ONLY DO QUICK FIXES AND CUT CORNERS ON ALL THIER CARS!!!! 2008 MAZDASPEED3

My wife and I brought in our cars to have electrical modules installed in our vehicles. They did not provide us with an itemized estimate nor itemized bill. Total cost was $497.20. They used the wrong module - Ford instead of GM, substandard wiring which was jammed under a fuse in the fuse box, after one day part of the insulation was bare and arcing with a ground under the hood, and the wires were bound with a messy array of electrical tape. Also,they neglected to put fuses inline on the load side of the wiring and the modules were simply suspended by those wires. The next day the problems were immediately detected and repair by two competent mechanics at Canadian Tire. I asked for a full refund. They demanded return of the modules claiming without proof that they cost the $150. I offered by email and voice message to allow them to deduct that amount - once verified with their bill for the modules. They have not gotten back to me. UPDATE May 2021: After responding to the Better Business Bureau complaint I filed, he wrote that they had refunded my in full and that the money was in my account. Almost a month later and he still has not refunded. He claims both of our cars had electrical problems when we brought them in, which is simply untrue. I have the photos of the poor and dangerous work they performed, as well as notes from mechanics who subsequently looked under the hoods to check the work for certification in Ontario. Neither had a problem. He also lied to VISA and on the very last day - the deadline for him to respond to a complaint with the credit card company. Not an ethical business. I offered to settle with him multiple time but he refuses to unless I return two incorrect modules he installed. I will have to pay to have that done. I said I’d absorb the cost from my claim provided he provided proof of what he paid for the modules. He still refuses. Never gave a breakdown of labor or parts. Steer clear. The next step is to follow with BBB and VISA and move this to small claims court.

She has had issues with her vehicle, and they have been less than helpful with guiding her in the right direction and have been reluctant and rude when she has requested service! Bought a car here a few years ago. Right off the bat the car failed an emissions test, multiple times due to an exhaust leak (when this was required every few years). The car lasted no more than 6 months before one of the cylinders misfired and would cost more to fix than it was worth. Would not recommend this dealership.

Went to another dealership under the pretense that I was pre-approved for financing and had somebody drive me the 1 hour trip only to find out they deal in newer vehicles (2017 & 2018), which was way out of my price range, and then spent a few hours there waiting for the salesman to attempt to get me approved by several lenders in order to haggle with them. Stopped by MTC on the way home and met Jerry who showed me the vehicle that best suited my needs and budget and was able to get me financing quickly...les than 2 weeks later I'm driving a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan with low mileage and within my budget....Thank you Jerry and Geoff and all the staff at MTC for your dedication and excellent customer service

Bought a 2010 Honda Accord with 170000 km cost way cheaper then private sale no pressure to buy salesman was honest when i asked him where the cars came from he said the auction like i thought only thing he sold me the car with one key and a tire with slow leak got it fixed only to know it had a screw in tire and no tire iron to remove flat tire will post later till now only 2 weeks and 1000 km car is 100% thanks Jeff

Bought a Subaru outback from MTC in May and discovered it was leaking oil when I got home. There was no crush washer around the bolt and the oil pan had a hairline crack. I was given both all season and winter tires which barely had enough tread to last one season. The car has had nothing but one problem after the next since purchasing. Will definitely not be purchasing here again and would not recommend.

I was sold a vehicle that needed work when I purchase it, I was told by the salesperson that the issues would be rectified upon purchase. I was giving the run around when I explained that I would like the issues fixed. (Salesperson stating I have to speak to mechanics and mechanics tell me vice versa) I was told that oil change and prep was done on the vehicle and it was proven that it was not. I was sold a lemon and when trying to have issues fixed, I have been rudely dismissed by staff at MTC. They do not take care of their customers once you sign off on the purchase. I have had my vehicle since April 2019 and have had issues since the first 2 weeks of buying it. I have spent hundreds of dollars on oil, and have had such an unpleasant time trying to have my extended warranty honored, giving the run around the ENTIRE time. They made the purchase of my car a very distasteful experience & I would NOT recommend anyone purchase from their establishment. - Poor customer service - Rude Staff - Frustrating experience
