Found a used 2006 Honda Civic online at this dealership, Called them on the phone regarding it and arrived at their location. The sales rep greeted and showed the car and I took it for test drive. I would say it was decent services though I didn't like how I was waiting inside the dealership while the sales rep paid more attention to customers he had inside in his office. I felt disrespected that Im a paying customer too even if Im not there to buy a "new" vehicle I wasn't assisted properly as the staff was busy doing their sales. So far the vehicle purchased is fine.

I came by to look at a car (advertised on autotrader) and this guy (Phillipe) walked me around and he couldn't even find the car. He then took my number and I told him I would come back the next day because it was getting late and I wanted to take it to a mechanic on the same day. A few hours later he notified me that he sold the car.

Service was kinda lacking....maybe because they had a lot of customers when I went there and because of winter. However, they have really really really good used cars, bought an almost brand new car for a really good price. I hate dealerships, however I can say for sure they are good.

Hors, il est arrivé à quelques reprise que des réparations qui n'étaient pas prévus par les senseurs de mon véhicule ont été faites avant le moment prévu par Honda. Je crois que faire les réparations selon les spécifications du fabriquant est correct et les faire avant me semble tout à fait injustifié. Bref, pour ces raisons, mon prochain véhicule et mes prochains entretiens seront fait ailleurs que chez Gatineau Honda.

On va vous faire une faveur monsieur il y a quelqu'un qui va demeurer 5 minute de plus.. wow méchante faveur! Il a fallu que je me dépêche quand même. Arrivé là, on a pas eu le temps de m'expliquer tout ce qui a été fait et d'appeler le lendemain si j'avais des questions.. bon d'accord, je règle la facture et je me suis dit que j'allais vérifier le tout rendu à la maison. En prenant la route, je m'aperçois que le volant ne faisait que tirer vers la droite. Je me parlais tout seul... en arrivant à la maison, je vois qu'il n'y a eu aucun rappel de fait non plus.. c'est à se demander s'ils ont fait quelque chose de bien?! Je conclus rapidement.. j'y suis retourné le lendemain pour refaire un alignement. J'ai dû m'obstiner et faire venir le gérant pour me faire rembourser ce service qui n'était absolument pas nécessaire. Et au diable le rappel, je ne voulais plus qu'ils touchent à la voiture. Je suis allé le faire ailleurs. Au lieu de vous faire traiter comme une dinde et subir l'incompétence de ce personnel, je vous conseille fortement d'aller ailleurs. Honda sur Saint-Joseph est irréprochable jusqu'à présent.

Il n'y aura pas de 4e fois (et probablement pas de nouvelle Honda dans le futur). Si je ne peux pas avoir de service, j'achèterai ailleurs. Pour la petite histoire, j'ai appelé un autre garage d'une grande chaîne, et j'ai eu un rendez-vous dans la semaine. Il sera à mes frais, mais au moins, j'aurai un véhicule fonctionnel.

Mauvais service! 3ieme et dernière: Ma blonde donne un dépôt d'achat pour une CRV neuve, on l'avise que on nous appelleraient sous peu pour des nouvelles du financement avec Honda Canada. En soirée le gars des finances nous appellent, pour nous dire que notre financement est approuvé, seulement SI on prend une assurance vie avec Honda Canada d'une valeur de quelques milles $$ de plus (et commence à dire comme quoi bla bla bla 30 ans c'est très jeune pour ce genre de véhicule, et que Honda Canada voulaient pas prendre de risques), ou bien de payer immédiatement 7000$ ou 10 000$ cash sur le véhicule. Gang de menteurs, le lendemain matin j'appelle directement Honda Canada et je parle avec un superviseur pour leur demander si c'étais une pratique courante chez Honda Canada, et le superviseur tout confus, me dit que non et ne comprenait pas pourquoi un concessionnaire disent ça. Honda makes great cars… this dealership is however not so great. They use schemes and salesman tactics to prey onto unexperienced buyers into making you think you’ll get a good deal and RIP YOU OFF. Here's my story: I went for a lease on a Honda civic, 2 years ago with them and had made a security deposit of 2.2K. It was my first time leasing a car and had zero experience. I thought the security deposit would have helped lower my monthly payments. I only found out later that the only advantage of having a security deposit was the chance of having a lower interest rate (which they didn’t even apply!). My interest rate was already 0.9%, before having a security deposit but they didn’t care to explain that. Fast-forward 2 years (present time), I get a call from them saying that they had a special promotion of 750$ discount on a new car and lower interest for "loyalty clients". Since I was already thinking about doing an upgrade to my car, I went ahead and decided to check it out. After negotiating the price with the salesman for about an hour or more, the salesman said that I could get rid of my old civic lease, pay the new "low" bi-monthly payments and leave with a new car. I asked if there was any penalty or any other payment required for breaking the lease – HE SAID THERE WAS NO PENALTY, NO EXTRA PAYMENT. With no penalty or extra payment, I agreed to the price and moved on to the sales director. Neither the sales rep or the sales director ever mentioned that day that they would take my security deposit of 2.2K from the previous lease to "pay the residual value" of the returned civic. I found out about this on the day of the pick-up/delivery... AFTER I asked for it. I asked if I could have my security deposit back from the old lease, they said it was used to "negotiate" a good price and applied on the new car. The sales coordinator said I had two options: either they give me back a check, or my payments would be a lot higher. However, the security deposit was NEVER mentioned during the negotiations and during the agreement of the car purchase price ??? At the delivery day, they printed this new sheet (which was the first time I’ve seen it) that they made me sign saying that the security deposit of 2.2K would be used to pay off the residual value of the car. This was an important factor that could of had a huge impact on my decision making, during the negotiations of the agreed purchase price of the car. Now my security deposit of 2.2K is gone just like that. I definitely feel like I’ve been ripped off since they never told me and I deeply recommend to be cautious from them and to stay away from this place at all cost.

Finalement, on nous explique que lorsqu'ils font des erreurs c'est notre responsabilité de les trouver pour ensuite devoir ce battre à nouveau pour ce faire justice. Exemple de phrases qu'on nous a dit, vous savez on vend beaucoup de voiture ici, vous savez vous auriez pu acheter ailleurs et finalement, vous êtes toujours frustrer. I had nothing but good experience with the staff at Gatineau Honda. I bought a car from them, over the internet, they did everything as promised, no hidden fees, in fact, I was delayed in picking the car up (I live in the Niagara region) and they said no problems. When I arrived with the cheque for a larger amount, no problems, they simply refunded my VISA with the difference. The car was ready, gassed, spotless, all the Ontario paperwork was done, the title changed, and as an Ontario Anglophone the Francophone staff made me feel really welcome. Jean-Francois Lacroix was really pleasant and a nice guy. The only complaint was they had a new set of plates for me. I did tell them verbally and in an early email that I didn't need plates, but that slipped through the cracks. It's no big deal. If I'm ever in the market for a new Honda I feel Gatineau deserves my business. Nice job mes ami!

Showed up with very real interest in a new car and had to wait a long while in the showroom; the salesmen where busy chatting and talking about their weekend plans while several people were left to wander idly. When I got tired of waiting, I made my way to the reception desk and asked for a salesman. I quickly found discovered I knew much more about the car than the salesperson did, which was disappointing. Chalk it up to it being a new model that was just released that week, but it was disheartening to not have answers to simple questions. The salesperson was pleasant enough but I wasn't offered a test drive and the staff felt dismissive of me so I left. I may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time but the whole experience (or lack thereof) has left me sour on this dealer. I did end up making my purchase (and regular servicing) at a competing Honda dealership. Overall, I wouldn't return here other than to get a quick quote against a competing dealer. Première interaction: la batterie en garantie s'est totalement déchargée donc j’ai appelé l'assistance routière qui m’ont conseillé de faire remorquer Honda chez le concessionnaire. Selon Honda Canada, j'avais le droit à un rabais pour remplacer la batterie (prorata). Honda Gatineau, le concessionnaire, décide de faire un test et de m'informer que la batterie est bonne et il fallait juste la charger pour la nuit. Grosse mensonge car elle s'est déchargée de nouveau le même hiver et j'ai dû la remplacer. Donc, Ils m'ont fait payer pour charger la batterie au lieu de me donner un rabais pour une nouvelle batterie. Deuxième interaction: après un changement d'huile, j'ai failli perdre ma plaque de protection (skid plate) dans un stationnement. Après vérification, j’ai vu qu’Il manquait des vis. Donc j’enlève la plaque et je retourne chez Honda Gatineau et je laisse la voiture pour la journée. Parce qu’ils sont occupés, pas moi… Donc ça fait 3 voyages pour un changement d’huile. Troisième interaction : J’ai changé mes pneus + j’ai fait un entretien (changement huile de transmission, filtre air moteur etc). Je viens chercher ma voiture et en partant je décide de vérifier où le mécanicien a mis mes pneus d’été. Grosse surprise encore : mes pneus d’été sont pas là. Le préposé me dit : ‘’Il va falloir que tu appelles Stéphane demain parce que c’est lui qui s’est occupé de ta voiture bla-bla-bla...’’ Il ne demande pas mon numéro de téléphone et il ne s’excuse pas. Le lui ai dit de faire une note pour Stéphane. Quand même, c’est des bons pneus qui sont introuvables. Le lendemain on appelle 2 fois pour finalement trouver Stéphane, lui n’est pas au courant bien sûr, mais il dit qu’il s’en occupe. On attend jusqu’au 14h parce que ‘’Stéphane est parti manger…’’ Stéphane ne répond pas. On demande le superviseur du service Ms. Philippe Lacroix et lui, au lieu de s’excuser, dit ‘’Vous n’êtes pas gentils avec nous. Nous on est vraiment occupés ici…’’ Donc c’est encore de notre faute qu’ils ont perdu les pneus…’’. Le directeur dit oui, on a vos pneus, venez les ramasser. Encore une fois, ce n’était pas mes pneus. Mais, ‘’on s’occupe me nous’’, ça veut dire tu cours comme un fou après tes pneus. Finalement, j’ai dû accepter des pneus usagés de qualité inferieur. Et voilà, ça marche comme ça là-bas.

Bought a 30,000 truck from them, picked it up and on my way home noticed it was almost out of gas. Then noticed a ton of small stone chips on windshield, like dozens and dozens. Called and said it past a safety but that didnt alter the fact that these small chips were there. Ended up they refused to replace windshield unless i paid 200.00, which i did. Au final je mets 2 étoiles puisque j'ai tout de même une auto que j'aime. Si vous n'avez pas beaucoup de temps à perdre aller à un autre garage. Si vous allez tout de même là assurez vous de toute vérifié très attentivement, leur faire confiance pourrait être une erreur...
