I don't normally go out of my way to write this extensive of a review but some things people need to know. I was infuriated in a low class attempt by the service department at swindling a loyal 5 year customer. I took my car in for a routine service for oil and transmission fluid change. I was called by the service rep about an hour after I left the dealership. He stated the mechanic heard something funny while driving my car in to the garage so they did a break inspection. A boot in one of the rear calipers had exploded and the other one was seized. They needed replacing. My front pads were at 2mm and rear at 1mm. The rotors were also shot/rusted and needed replacing.They recommended not to drive the car as it was unsafe. I was quoted for over 2000$ (including the service which was 200$) for the full repair including front and rear pads and rotors as well as both rear calipers. Something didn't add so I took it to another licensed mechanic And this is his report including cost Front brake pads were at 4.5mm, rear brake pads around 2mm, but were tight in the caliper bracket. A caliper pin seal/bushing on the right rear was torn, pins and piston were free moving. Rotors were all good. Rear pads were replaced as well as rubber caliper pin seal/bushing, rear calipers were serviced to allow for free movement of the pads. Total parts cost about $50, plus 1 hour of labor. Have a look at the pics if you want to see the measurements on the break pads and the clean rotors! If sterling wants to do a major repair maybe have a second mechanic look it over.

I went to Sterling Honda and bought a civic from Allan. As a 19 year old student, this was my first car purchase and I didn’t really know much about what to do or even who to contact, but Allan made the entire process extremely easy and enjoyable. He was very easy to get ahold of, and easy to talk to. He was also very helpful, and accommodating while booking appointments. Immediately made to feel welcomed and at home. Tiago came out as soon as I was showing obvious interest in my used car. Showed me every feature and explained their services and safety measures taken for used vehicles. When I was done with my test drive. And CARFAX questions the sales process was smooth and seamless. The customer service team is exceptional. On the day of pick up Tiego picked up my car for me and checked every detail on it himself before my arrival. The team went above and beyond to clean and buff my vehicle. When I arrived for payment another agent greeted me like an old friend and directed me to where to go. All of the sales associates available greeted me as I walked by. Tiego took the time to show me the warranties and all of the pieces needed (this was my first car purchase ever) and what I would need to carry on me. I am very disappointed with the service department. They have recommended me a bunch of services they thought was appropriate which costed me 1600 dollars and I didn’t question them. They changed my air filters too and my AC stopped working and I realised it the day after I got my car home and I am sure it was working fine earlier. When I called them back to inform the condition, they want to run a diagnostic which would cost me 135 bucks with the wasting of my time to drive back and forth and losing on my pay from work. Great Job Sterling Honda!!

Terrible service. Went in over a month ago with specific inquiries in regards to a car purchased at a dealership in Milton and was told one thing by a representative. Came in recently with the same inquiry based on what was told to me by the last representative and the new representative is looking at me like I have two heads. No consistency within the staff. Employees will just tell u something to make u happy and so that you will leave. Won't be using this Honda at all in the future.

Recently bought a new (new to me) Honda Civic from Sterling Honda. On arrival I was not sure what I could afford but quickly fell in love with a 2018 model. Steve worked out the payments for me and I walked out that same day having bought the civic I wanted. Steve was unavailable the day I picked up my Honda but he made sure to send his congrats to me via another sales associate and he also called me a couple days later to check in. Have been getting a oil change here on the regular. Then they forgot to put the clips on the oil change cover and it hangs and sometimes hits the road. When asked the shop to fix it and make it right, they try to charge me $120, even though it was their fault. When asked about the issue the person at reception says, it’s ok, my car is old. It’s a 2018 Honda CR-V. Why does that matter.

TLDR; Sterling Honda is amazing, seamless, efficient and friendly. I started my purchase while I was living/working in Nunavut and had to purchase a new vehicle upon my arrival back to Ontario. This was the first time I've purchased a vehicle and was already very stressed with the amount of options and information I had to take in. To do it all remotely was a bigger challenge. My dad previously had a civic and had nothing but great things to say about his car while he had it. Sterling Honda was extremely accommodating and diligent while working around my schedule in another timezone. I had the pleasure of working with Steve who hooked me up with a Demo 2020 white Civic LX. Everything was completed within 2 weeks, I picked up the car yesterday upon my arrival. I even got the cutest little treat basket. The car is lovely, coming home to a new car, no headache and wonderful customer service was EVERYTHING I could have asked for and more. I told my friends that I got a new car and they're more excited for me to join the Honda gang! Thank you to everyone that helped me out yesterday from the minute I walked in through the door. One star is for parts department! I asked him if it’s possible to buy an aux cord from the dealership for my 2008 Civic and he didn’t know what aux was? After I explained it to him, he laughed back and told me he didn’t understand what I was saying? After he finally understood, he said it’s not possible for this vehicle??? This guy works at Honda dealership???? Really??? What’s there to say or understand about 3 letters AUX? Look at the photo. I bought it elsewhere and mr. parts guy….it’s been installed in my vehicle.

Horrible service, or should I say zero service. After waiting around for 2.5 hours and not having my pilots winter tires changed or my breaks checked out, Honda left me stranded at the mall and I had to take a cab to pick up my vehicle. They make up so many excuses as to why they can't get their shuttle guy to pick me up. They didn't even ask him to because he was hanging out at the shop walking around doing nothing when I got there. ???? This isn't the first time this location gave me a hard time with simple things they're suppose to give as customer care. I would give ZERO stars if I could. Ruined my whole day. Absolute Bull$%@t!

I came in to get a new key&chip for my Honda CRV. The dealership notified me that the key they cut would not fit the car and asked if I changed the locks in my car. This didn’t make sense because I wouldn’t of been able to use the original valet key to drive my car to the dealership if I had changed any locks… I was then asked to choose an option of replacing all my locks for a hefty fee since the key they cut did not work…I refused and returned to the dealership to try to figure out this problem. I returned and asked them to check it again because this “problem” sounded too absurd to me. And when I returned to the dealership, I confirmed the VIN number they used and matched it to my car registry and asked them to look further into it. Basically, it was assumed that it was MY problem that the key they cut did not work. After asking them to check AGAIN (which frankly, I do not think they double checked it after the initial cut), it turns out that they put in the incorrect VIN number... This was a waste of my time as they did not problem solve the issue further other than assuming that I changed the original locks and expected me to pay more to fix the problem that was never there to begin with. I do not know much about cars but I believe that it is common sense to double check issues if you receive a final result that wasn’t expected to begin with. This was a disappointing experience and I cannot help but feel distrust in the dealership.

While my comprehensive warranty covers everything they say “it doesn’t”. They left repair dirt and grease in my vehicle. Very unprofessional customer service. And they repaired my audio system but left front box cover open. Such a mess. UPDATE: A representative called me minutes after this review and looked into the problems I faced. Will update here after seeing the improvements in their services we customers deserve. Sept. 1, 2021 Thanks Google!!”

I have purchased lease guard pro and no one seems to even know what this is. This is a step-up program from their regular lease guard. I have had to call multiple Honda dealerships just to get processed and no one seems to be able to help. Finnally at Sterling, Amanda was able to process my windo chip, but as I arrive for service, I am told that they don't know what I am talking about. My car now has to stay their all day when they had to call a third party in to fill the cracks. Seems like the real hole is in their systems. Anyone reading this don't buy Honda's garbage packages, they won't help you. EDIT: As a customer service rep of sorts myself, I would never sell a package that the rest of the staff know nothing about. The 1 star was for a selling a package that nobody knows about. And Amanda was the only one who helped, but after a long phone convo with her I thought the issue was resolved only to find out I had to have another long convo with the service desk upon drop off. I will change my rating to 3 stars as I am a huge Honda fan. There is no make like it, but I will never buy an extended package again.

I had the salesman John Corbett as my intro to the Honda world as I was actually looking to buy a Toyota. John took the time to walk me through all the features, discussed in detail maintenance concerns I had in regards to the CVT transmission and was very personable and warm to my wife who also had many questions John answered with dignity and warmth. I would 100 percent recommend Sterling Toyota but as well John Corbett to anybody looking to buy a car. After, every person from Nick Pryszlak in financing, to Frida who called me the next day to say that my financing had been approved, was excellent. I can not review this dealership with a high enough review. I am writing this review about a month after purchasing my new Honda Civic. I have had no issues with the car so far, and I really enjoy the ride. I feel like I found the car I specifically wanted, and Sterling Honda was there to make the process comfortable. Not only are they keeping Covid-19 safe, and have a lot of great measures in play, but they are willing to go above and beyond. As far as the specific dealing of purchasing a vehicle goes, there were a lot of options for me, and the financing options are quite flexible, even for a younger first time purchaser such as myself. I was quite nervous through this process, and I would like to personally thank Steve Dorman for being so kind and patient. Steve understood where I stand in life, and what I was looking for and was very willing to work with me to get the car, and the deal that was right for me. I never once felt like Steve, or Sterling Honda in general was being dishonest with me or trying to trick me into a purchase. They put their customers first. Thank you Steve Dorman, and thank you Sterling Honda. 5 Stars no questions.

First the positive - Kyle was nice and stayed late to help. The good service ends there. Saw numerous advisors chatting with each other instead of helping customers. An advisor told the guy beside me that the new Honda tires and rims he bought from them actually had Canadian Tire wheel locks on them so he had to go there for service. Took ~1 hr for my "appointment" to be checked in. Then my 15 min service recall took 2 days and left me without a car at the last minute. When I got my car they hadn't washed it, installed the winter tires incorrectly and hadn't performed the factory data reset as promised. They also didn't give me my inspection sheet until prompted. They also didn't look into why my dash resets itself despite the car being under warranty and my request to do so. When I asked to speak to the manager they declined. Guess $500 for an oil change and a brake job and a lifelonger Honda owner doesn't deserve speaking to a manager. If you are interested in good service look elsewhere there's no attention to detail here.

When I had to take my car in for a brake inspection last Friday, I read some reviews and chose to take it to Sterling Honda. Right from the start I received friendly and efficient customer service from Amanda, Raven and Ray the shuttle driver. I believe it was Fernando who went over the cost of repairs with me and when I decided to let the old girl go, he kindly escorted me over to Used Car Sales and that's where we meet Tiago. This young man, was friendly, kind and very knowledgeable about his inventory. Did I mention he also has a great sense of humour and it seems like that's a common trait amongst this staff! We looked at a car, it was just what I wanted and they offered a trade in on my car and gave me a loaner. Then he set me up with Shabbir in Finance. Shabbir patiently took all my details and explained the financing and warranty packages. I signed on the dotted line and by Wednesday I was in my new car. What made this experience so great was the friendliness, humour and of course the outstanding customer service. I'll be recommending Sterling Honda to my friends and family.

I had a very bad and unsatisfying experience at Sterling Honda and DO NOT RECOMMEND this dealership to anyone. The salesman Brad was very rude to us and showed disinterest unless we gave him a $500 deposit to start the process. He did not show the car properly and was of no help. After the process was started, I called him several (7-8 ) times to know the progress but he picked my call just once and never called me back. He was not professional and although he has an obligation towards everyone to treat them respectfully who walks into the dealership and should not be biased. The financial manager Alexander Clafton was the same as Brad. He mailed me regarding some issue in which he wrote to call him or reply on the mail. To understand the issue better I also called him many times. Despite calling him several times he never picked the call or called back. I send him an email in which I wrote that I have been calling you please call back and give my number as well. But he never called just wrote me a mail which was almost the same as the first mail. He acted as the busiest man in Canada and did not give any consideration to the needs of the prospective clients.
