I got a vehicle he said had a safety and e test. My mechanic looked and I need new struts all around lower control arms. Sway bar links and bushings. 2500 bucks it cost to make it actually ready for the road. I had a rental from him and got rear ended. He tried to give me 2 rentals one with check engine light on and 1 with a huge deal in the windshield. He tried to use my insurance to store his own vehicle on his own lot. He is a 100 percent crook avoid at all cost.

I recommend this shop to all my family and friends. I recently bought a Dodge Carvan from Sam. He was honest with me about the condition of the van and we agreed on some things to be fixed on the day of delivery. He promised to get it done in three days and he did. Terrible experience. The vehicle purchased was advertised as certified. The following items needed to be resolved in order to pass certification- oil leaks, Control arm and ball joint needed to be replaced, broken brake light and windshield was cracked. I'm not sure how it passed certification, but it did according to Sam's Auto Sales. Those items as well as a few advertised features were committed to be fixed prior to PDI were also unresolved ie. Non-functioning Navigation System, Wireless Connectivity advertised, the vehicle doesn't actually connect to any type of device via Bluetooth, the A/C didn't blow cold air and a differential issue... all unresolved as agreed upon on our sales agreement The owner constantly had a different reason why he couldn't resolve. After 2 months of headaches, aggravation and excuses.. I had the vehicle certified and repaired at my own expense. He refused to pay for the outstanding items... so I have chalked it up as a loss of time and money. Buying a vehicle is stressful enough. Very few people have the time or patience for taking legal action in such a case. My guess is that they operate under this premise. If you find this review unbelievable, look around the premises for vehicles with 'sold' signs collecting dust. Buyer beware... do your research prior to doing business with Sam's Auto Sales.

Beware Beware of this place. I was charged $2500.00 more then the asking price. When we caught him with that increase he claimed it was $1500.00 for warranty and $1000.00 for finance transaction. For those who don't know in Ontario we have an all in pricing that means advertised price plus HST and licencing. I tried my best to reason with Sam but he kept insisting it was a extra warranty charge witch it was no where on the paper work so he refused to refund it. I called OMVIC and faxed all the documents i had and they said try one more time if will not cooperate we will intervene. I conveyed the message to owner Sam he was stubborn and decided to cancel the deal instead of refunding. At the end we came to an agreement to refund the full $1500.00 plus taxes. Three weeks later nothing came after calling Sam decided to send $1000.00 only and when we asked Sam why he says because i gave you 500.00 discount i said the refund is for a product that we don't want. Again i tried my best to settle with him but typical greedy person he is. For the record i did come to an agreement with the finance company and they refunded 500.00. I would not writing this review if he would have worked with us and come to a conclusion. Next step is OMVIC again

I took my car for service oil change and tires swap took an hour and a half drove off to work in Toronto the steering starts shaking on high speed however I called the the shop and the mechanic told me to bring it back for inspection it is out of balance I went back the mechanic claim that those rims are damaged and I need a new ones, blaming me I did damage the rims. when I had the all season set on my car never was an issue !!!

Update may14th 2018: car no longer works. Mechanic was shocked when he looked at exhaust and struts. Thanks for being a horrible human being sam and rocko. Dont believe 5 star reviews all fake! Most 5 star reviews are on accounts with only sams auto as a review. I mean use your own judgement. They're definatly fake. With minimal effort to try and make it look real. Explore all the fake accounts they have posting obviously fake reviews. Update: The other 5 star reviews are fake. Either family,friends,or self created. TONS OF FAKE 5 star reviews on Facebook too. I wont give to many hints how I know or sam will get smarter and improve his fake reviews. Purchased a 2005 Hyundai Tucson from this lot. Was told it would be ready in a week. 8 weeks later things Sam (the owner) agreed to fix, like the rear defroster are still not fixed. Tried to give me a scarpeyard alternator twice and tell me it was new. Had to fix my own fan blower. He ripped the cloth accent on the doors off. Refuses to return calls or even texts. iMessage sees them as delivered and read. Additionally the front attendant rocko decided he would argue with me fiancé and I regarding how long we had actually waited for the car. In 8 weeks they called me once and texted me one day. They used delay tactics to push me outside my warranty and waste my time and gas. Avoid this place. They only thing they do on time is take your money. Always an excuse or reason for things an unreasonable waits between things. I'm removing the advertising you added to my licence plate. Don't waste money here, very shady and dishonest practice. If the car was worth more I would have taken them to court. *update* finding new problems as time goes on, mechanic thinks they strip parts and replace most of the car with scrapyard salvage pieces. Leaking power steering has developed within a few months of leaving and had to put a ton more money to keep car from stalling while driving. Dishonest owner who continually tries to make it seem like he runs a 5star business with fake reviews. On a good note, I know better for the future. Saftied and certified basically means almost nothing and OMVIC holds no one accountable. Thanks for a nightmare. Hope my money is feeding your family. You don't deserve it.

This dealer is deceitful and fulfills the used car salesman stereotype. After purchase a vehicle from them. I discovered they lied about the struts. Which needed replacement. Covered up rust with cheap paint that just traps the problem, making it worse over time, and even used incorrect coolant in my vehicle so topping it up is out of the question cause you can't mix. They also disable a engine light for a evap leak that should have been fixed properly for them to e-test correctly. Please avoid this dealer, go find someone with actually dignity.

This guy Sam is the worst biggest rip off dealer in the Greater Hamilton and possible Ontario, he will sell a car that is worth 250 dollars to you for 2500 and would swear that car never had an accident and the car is safety certified, and passed all the tests etc. mean while the car isn't even worth scrap, then he will write a contract that request you to pay a huge deposit sum, take away any of your rights to a fair deal, forge your signature if needs be, he would then say that he has to get the car ready and will take out all the good parts out the of car, a like the battery, CD player fuses and even any gas and then give you the car which wasn't the same car you test drove. He ripped off many people before SO BE CAREFUL You want to know what type of dealer your dealing with. IF you want to get ripped off then you had come Sam's Auto owner Sam El-Tawil. Watch your back if you ever have to deal with him and beware not sign anything without giving it to your lawyers first. He currently has a few courts cases against him and there are more to come, he is accused of insurance scams and other volition's. WATCH OUT
