During these tumultuous times, we didn't have any hopes of getting our new Corolla Hybrid Premium, but the team at Red Hill took care of us and got us the car TWO weeks earlier than expected!! Overall, our experience with purchasing a used car from this dealership went well. Natasha was our salesperson who we dealt with and she did a great job with explaining the history of the vehicle and answering every question about the car. We would definitely consider coming back the next time we are looking for a used vehicle. The only disappointment about our whole experience with this dealership is we weren't offered a free trial of the satellite radio service. When we purchased our last used car at a Honda dealership in Burlington, we were given a free trial. Perhaps this promotion is not offered by any dealership anymore but it would of been nice to try it again. But nothing against Red Hill Toyota and we will highly recommend them to our family and friends. Steve and Nancy Edit: 7/21/2021 - Natasha reached out after my review and apologized for not setting up the satellite radio trial and was able to set it up for me right away. Again, thank you Natasha for going above and beyond my expectations. There is only one outstanding issue with the car that Daniel at the service department is going to hopefully fix next week. The voice recognition which could be a software issue is not working which means that I can't use the hands free while driving. I will have my final edit and rating after this issue is resolved.

review date: november 9, 2021 customer service date: november 5, 2021 and december 2018 back in december 2018, i was shopping around for a specific type of corolla. unfortunately at the given time, RHT did not have what i was looking for. so i ended up buying from toyota on the park in north york, because they actually had what i wanted. that said, when i visited red hill toyota (RHT), dave bhogal the sales rep was polite and friendly. fast forward to november 2021...i had 2 safety recalls to deal with. living in hamilton, i did not want to drive to north york to deal with this matter. i actually contacted red hill and upper james toyota (UJT) concurrently to see which facility could best accommodate my schedule. to my surprise, UJT never responded once, in any way, shape or form. RHT, on the other hand, gave me a response from the dealership general manager, alan balinsky, within...less than 10 minutes of me mouse-clicking my e-mail inquiry, at night (around 730pm). ???? which to me, shows a heart-attack serious desire to provide great customer service and in turn, produce revenue for the facility. alan advised me that i would need to contact the service dept during working hours, but he took it a step further by forwarding the e-mail to them, and the service dept contacted me the next morning. ✔ additional e-mail and phone follow-ups were done by the service people in the office, krystle did a good job of setting up the appointment for success. what i appreciated about krystle was her answering my questions of what to expect for the appointment, so that i could prepare myself accordingly. the actual safety recall servicing was budgeted as a worst case 3 hrs...fortunately i was off the property within under 2 hrs, so i could get to work in oakville to catch some overtime hours. bottom line: i would use RHT again for toyota-specific repairs, and would visit the facility again if i was in the market for another corolla, to give them a chance to see if they could get what i was looking for. i would recommend RHT to others also for those who are/would be in the market for a toyota vehicle.

I was given a supposedly VIP invite for a private demonstration of my chosen vehicles by the internet sales team. They promptly sent reminders a day and 2 hours ahead of the appointment. To my utter dismay when I reached there the person supposed to meet me was not there and worse still no one at the front had an idea of such an appointment. I felt like an intruder to someone's private home. They said they don't have the vehicle I wanted to see, contrary to what was written in the email. They said they have no idea of what internet team does and sends to customers. Can't beleive this is a canadian dealership operating in this age and time. Wasted my time. I came out disappointed and never wanting to step back there.

Overall I had a great experience at Red Hill Toyota. The whole process in purchasing my Corolla Hybrid was quite seamless. Everyone was very attentive there and I felt no pressure or scare tactics in trying to sell me a new car. Everyone I spoke with was very knowledgeable and were able to answer any questions I had. I recently asked Alan Balinsky at Red Hill Toyota and a few other people I know to keep an eye out for a good used Toyota Tundra as they are hard to find and go really quick when listed (cause they're so awesome). A couple weeks later Alan was the first to get back to me with a truck that had just come in. I trusted him to have gotten me a good vehicle and I purchased it sight unseen. First I want to start of saying I drive a Kia, so that affected the service level right away (no coolant or headlight for my make on site). I have to say I was left a bit disgruntled. I waited just over an hour for what ended up being an $84.00 oil change. Should have been made aware that you do not carry ANY parts for non Toyota's. I assumed a dealership (why I chose you guys over a small shop) would have basic parts like headlights and coolant for other makes. Staff was great and Covid guidelines strictly followed. Would ONLY recommend if you drive Toyota.

Just bought a used Corolla (2016, 35,000 km, sports trim). Dealing with Dave B was a great experience, he made me feel very comfortable, explained answers to all of my questions, and just elevated the stress from the whole car buying experience. I had initially arrived at this dealership to look at a different vehicle, but upon looking at it, I found it not to be my style. Dave quickly found me multiple comparables within my budget and other requirements. Wonderful experience purchasing a used 2015 Corolla for my wife from Dan Petrie, and Amber in finance. I basically went in one day, Dan showed me the Corolla right away which fit my requirements. Brought my wife back on the second visit and Dan spent a long time explaining to her the fine points of the car in detail. She was very pleased and we decided to purchase the car. It's a shame that I have to give my business to other dealers when this dealership is so close to my house. I don't appreciate the fact that I was told there is no shuttle when there is a recall on my vehicle. I'll have to stay at the dealership or arrange my own ride. The worse experience with the service department! Brought the car in September 2020 , could get the cover off , so they said they would notify me when they got the parts for the recall. All peachy , they did .. called back , left a message , no follow up. Texted them , no follow up. Finally called again and spoke to someone Nov.27 , she was super nice, my hopes were high was a promised a follow up. It’s now almost a month and haven’t heard back. Caelum is my Toyota go-to person for three simple reasons: (1.-) He understands that price is the bottom line. He knows the average customer will call every Toyota dealer in Ontario (and possibly Quebec) to get what we want. (2.-) He does not talk like a salesman. He won't pile a bunch of extras you don't need, so won't find yourself pushing back. (3.-) When he doesn't know the answer to a question, he'll take the time to look it up and give you the correct answer.

Had to drove 3 times 180km each trip to close the deal with them which other dealership won't do this. When receiving the vehicle found coffee stains and dirt all over inside. Thought they would put extra care on cleaning the car when deliver it to customer during the covid19 pandemic but apparently not. One of the Wiper blade fell apart on my way back to Toronto while it was snowing. Tire thread are not at minimum 70% as advertised upon measuring. Very disappointed.

Went in to potentially buy a new vehicle from them and trade in my car was hit below the belt with the trade in offer, told them to stop wasting my time so they told me to come in and finalize the make and model I wanted so they could give me “a better estimate”. So I did and once again wasted more of my time By offering me a little higher than what they did the first time the car sells on the market for 4x the amount they offered and I was looking for atleast half. Wouldn’t waste your time trading into this dealer unless you have an old wreck.

As I now had more experience with this Toyota service location I can honestly say that they are pretty good. We got off to a rocky start but we got our issues resolved and hence I updated the rating. I must say that the oil change/tire rotation and other technical services team is great. Polite, responsive and considerate. They always strive to accommodate the customer and find best possible solution. I will be coming back to them as long as I am driving a Toyota. The misunderstanding I had before (that led to the initially low rating) was with the front desk lady (back in 2018). I don't think she works there anymore. My wife needed maintenance on her 2021 RAV4 which I could not perform due to it requiring specializes scanning tools. While on the RedHill Toyota website I took the time to read the biographies of their advisors, management and staff, one of them caught my attention it was for a service advisor which was a former service technician!! John Brooks. Imagine that, an advisor that was a former technician/mechanic that actually worked with his hands, that makes total sense!! If there is one thing that I cannot stand is a service advisor that knows absolutely nothing about cars (they are everywhere!!). I spoke to John on the phone and in person before, during and after the work was done on my wife’s car and he was extremely knowledgeable, up front honest and patient. He even told me that my wife’s car did not need this maintenance service at this time and to save my money. Obsessive as I am about taking care of our cars I went ahead with the service anyway. Who turns away business/money these days ……..someone with integrity who is truly there for the “customer” and not just the “corporation”!! That man is John Brooks. I recommend him to everyone. I can't speak about the other dealers however I had a very bad experience with one of the saleswomen, I believe her name was Natasha, who was incredibly condescending and rude. Very demeaning and disrespectful and passive aggressive. I visited the dealership twice and she went back on her first price offer and flat out denied ever making it. I had an appointment to see this used RAV4 and they did not bother sharing with me until I was there that this vehicle previously belong to a smoker. It is a grey interior with literally orange discoloration. I swear the past owner never cracked a window while they smoked in the vehicle. How could Toyota let anyone view this vehicle in that kind of condition!! I wouldn't sit in it, it was horribly gross and stunk! That is such shady business not sharing that to a potential buyer until they were there. You should have shared that before the viewing to determine whether the buyer would want to still view it in that kind of horrible condition. I was very disappointed to drive 30min away for such a mess. If they don't tell you about the vehicle being in that kind of condition, what else are these sellers not sharing! Beware potential buyers on not having full disclosure

Buying a new vehicle at a dealership is usually a stressful experience for me because I always feel I never get the best deal possible, I may have gotten the vehicle that I wanted but I always felt I paid way more than what I expected until I met Rick Neufeld. I never felt any pressure of buying from him and he just felt genuine on his knowledge about the vehicle and the different types of financing options and also gave me a better deal than what I could get at unhaggle. It's easy to see why Marco is one of the best Toyota reps in Canada. It was the first day I had even looked at a car in person to purchase, and I took it on the spot. Honestly, I might have hesitated more and lost the perfect vehicle if Marco hadn't made the process so smooth and easy. He went the extra mile (literally, as he personally delivered the car) in every way and stayed past the office' closing time, for which I kept apologizing, and he kept telling me to stop apologizing. My wife and I visited many different dealerships while looking for a replacement for our Cadillac DTS. Many were not interested in assisting us. A friend suggested I try Red Hill Toyota and a Salesman named Marco. When I first visited here Marco was not in and I was directed to a Lady named Suzanne who was very helpful and provide me with some information and some pricing. Several days later I received a call from Marco (Suzanne had passed on my name and number to Marco) who made an appointment for me to come in and discuss cars. I was met by Marco on time and we discussed Financing and Leasing options. I was offered a New Camry to do a test drive home and show my wife. We both returned to Red Hill and we continued our discussion. We were introduced to Shawna D who is Marco's assistant. She explained a few things and collected the information to initiate a Lease. She was very helpful and friendly. We picked up our Camry several days later and it was ready to go when we arrived. Shawna was very helpful in setting up our phones to connect to the car. A day later I returned to the dealership and Shawna assisted me with her knowledge of cell phones to attempt to resolve a problem with my antique cell phone. A week or so later I called Shawna and requested some documentation and when I arrived she and Marco worked together to locate the documentation. I have had the most Customer service from this dealership than any other in my 73 years. Suzanne who passed on my number to Marco knowing she was not going to get the sale. (Teamwork) To Marco who was helpful and patient and a good salesman. And to Shawna D. who provide her phone number and was always responsive to my requests for assistance and information. Natasha Veinotte discremiate the customer. Worest customer service. I saw a vehicle on their website, so I called them. A sales person Natasha Veinotte got my call. I wanted to ask her is this vehicle available, BUT she rudely interrupted me when I haven't finished my words by saying "no this kind vehicle avaliable." Then I asked her if I place an order how long I have to wait. She said: "YOU CANNOT PLACE ORDER ON THIS VEHICLE." I asked why, but she cannot really tell me a reason. This is how they treat their customer with DISCRIMINATION. DO NOT GO TO THIS TERRIBLE PLACE. I have to mention, she didn't ask me any question before she declined my 2 requests mentioned above. Using an account not in my name because I don't want to get nobody in trouble. Service was great at the dealership and overall I would recommend it. but when I picked up the car and had a good look at home I was really very disappointed with the detailing. Even if the car isn't new there should be more effort put in to give customers a clean car. It was relatively dirty. Not as dirty as when I first looked at it but still. Inside the cup holders were dirty, under the seats were dirty, the trunk was dirty, the seats had stains on them, and there was a crack in the windshield on the passenger side. I had to pay another $200 to get the thing detailed and now it looks like it should have when I picked it up. Will also have to pay to have the windshield fixed. Also in the nav system there was the home address and favorites of the previous owner and the garage opener was still programmed to what I'm assuming is their garage which is an obvious security issue. My advice is to 1) Please hire more people to do detailing because they are probably pushed beyond belief to clean faster than possible because of the volume of cars being sold, 2) To do a complete inspection of the vehicle before the customer comes to pick it up, and 3) Have a security checklist and make sure the cars computer is clear of the private and personal information of the previous owner. But overall as I mentioned the service was very good and since I am local I would recommend them and buy another vehicle from here, especially if those issues were resolved. Thanks
