The car I bought off of them was a 5 year old trade in. They took well care of it: new breaks, tires and a few other things. However, it would've been great if they were a bit flexible for their customers and did not rush them once the sale was completed. For example, they close at 8:00, but I still asked if I could pick up my car at 8:00 on the dot or 8:05 since I am coming from Downtown Toronto after work. They refused. However, I then stated I will arrive at 2:00 or 3:00 on Saturday (they close at 5). No response back until Saturday morning when they texted me telling me they wanted me to come in at 12:30 instead. Well mannered car, but poor customer service.

Staff are friendly. Work is done well! I only wish that you were given a heads up for the other regular maintenance. Such as inspections, Tire Rotations and so on. Don't like dropping my car off for a free oil change and then a half hour into my oil change I find out that I have to wait 2 more hours for routine service recommended by Chevrolet that will cost $100.00. I know every dealer is the same. I realize it effects my warranty. Now just give me a pamphlet or a heads up when I make the appointment that this is going to happen. We go over Make/Model, Odometer and the rest of it. Just a heads up. 5 stars with a heads up.

Am extremely happy with my dealings with them until my car went in with a dead battery and came out with a new battery at a cost of $330 thats THREE HUNDRED THIRTY DOLLARS FOR A BATTERY. One of the charges was 109 for a cpc whatever that is.

I love the service here; they really seem to be “on the ball”. Back in 2016, I wanted to buy a Chevy Volt; they were the only dealership in the area at the time that knew what I wanted and did not try to convince me to get something else. The overall sales experience here was great, did not feel pressured. They were also the few in the area that even had EV’s on premise at the time. They seem to listen to you as back when I bought my car, not many dealerships seem to understand or care about EV’s, here they did not try to persuade me otherwise. Since I bought my car, I have brought it in for service and no issues whatsoever, they are good with communication as well. They took the time to explain my options at each visited so I can make an informed choice, told me honestly what service I needed and what is optional. If you are getting service, it is best to just wait but the waiting area has plenty of seats, there is a coffee machine available and periodicals to keep you occupied. Keep in mind that without shuttle service there is not much to do but sit there, it is a busy area.

Just had the best vehicle purchase experience with Milo Lattanzi, Billy Zych and Christie Heffernan. We had been dealing with Milo looking for a new truck for a while but with stock low due to COVID we weren't sure if we would get ourselves into one within our time frame. Milo called me a couple weeks ago knowing that we had been waiting and looking for a new Colorado and informed me that he had a truck available and it happened to be the exact one we wanted! We went in to check it out and Billy Zych facilitated the deal for us. I can't say enough about how well we were treated by all the employees at Queenston Chev upon arrival. I have had the best experience buying and repairing my vehicle(s) from Queenston. Billy made the whole purchase process pain free and exciting for my daughter and I. Even with a small programming glitch on my new vehicle, getting it dealt with was a breeze. Shannon my service advisor was amazing to deal with. She scheduled me in quickly at my convenience, and arranged a rental under my warranty just so that I wasn't stuck waiting all day. Thankfully it was a quick resolution and I was on my way, having the rental for less than 2 hours. Very happy I have the people at Queenston to take my vehicle to.

If i could have given zero stars i would have. Wanted to buy the spark lt2 in december. Asked if there were any deals... My sales person said no. I told him i would be interested in the lower model for something like 1% financing he said no. So i was going to pay and wait for the new lt2. Went home and went online, to find the lower model is 0% financing plus free snow tires. I confronted my sales person, being a young eager women he saw me coming fron a mile away and took advantage. Not impressed with how he tried to gouge me for more money, but i really wanted this car and i was still getting a deal so i bought it Now my car is 8 months old with less than 5 thousand km and is stopping in the middle of the road after reversing. The shop says nothing is wrong. Clearly something is wrong. I asked if i could get another opinion and take it to a real shop and the supervisor mike got really angry. He said if i felt that way "we were going to have problems." Must be nice to be able to with drawl free services mike! Ive been in customer service for my whole working career. Never have i treated anyone like they do here. Avoid this place! Take your daughters, sisters and mothers some where else!!

A few years ago I switched my service needs from Johnbear Upper James to Queenston, let’s just say, issues with disrespectful service advisors at Johnbear. Initially I was pleased with Queenston staff. For the past 3 years I have taken both my 2014 Silverado and my wife’s 2015 Equinox there for routine maintenance. Fast, friendly, job done right, but expensive which is expected. No problem. As of late, I have been less than impressed with their operations. This August I brought my Silverado in for intermittent electrical issues, trusting they’d have professional technicians and the superior diagnostic tools to solve this problem, which I now know is very common in these Silverados. Later the next day my wife gets a call saying that it’s ready for pick up. They’ve been told numerous times that the Silverado is mine and Equinox is hers, switch the numbers! Minor problem but very annoying. The problem is neither of us were kept informed or received a call for the go ahead for any work. They also went ahead and decided to change my cabin air filter without asking, and then left the pile of leaves that fell out on my passenger side floor mat. I leave the dealership after spending around $500. Wouldn’t release keys until paid. No questions were answered because I picked up from sales after hours. I understand that the nice lady was just doing her job and wasn’t part of the service team. However I thought, if it’s fixed then it’s worth it. Peace of mind that I won’t be stuck somewhere with a truck that has no power to anything. The following week, the same electrical problems persist. Now I get frustrated that I just wasted money for their techs to do nothing. So I pull my dash apart and find the ground that they “cleaned and tightened”. Looks to be in ok condition. No sign of problem with g218 that should absolutely be a recall. I still have power loss issues, no start, service stabilitrac, service theft deterrent, myriad of BCM codes, etc. After some research on forums and tsb I try another ground. Fixed my problem myself for free. While underneath, I noticed my tie rod end hadn’t been greased (probably ever) as far as I know, there are just the 2 fittings on the front end. Wouldn’t take more than 2 minutes to grease these. If this is an additional service, maybe they should try selling me on that instead of their regular non sense. This was my last straw with Queenston. Planned neglect to get you back in spending your money sooner rather than later. This volume driven, get you in, take your money and get you out mentality is what I’d expect from a shady quick lube. I am truly disappointed in Queenston.

I brought my 2009 Pontiac G5 in for what I thought was a power steering issue. Turns out I needed a ton of work done on the car. Lots of little things that added up to a car that wasn't safe to drive but wasn't really revealing that fact while driving it. My service rep, Teresa Levey was extremely helpful in providing all the information I needed about the repairs and then the time I wanted to decide what I was going to do. I don't mean hours, I mean she backed off for a day or so while I considered my options. Once I decided that I didn't want to proceed with the repairs as it was time to move on to a more reliable vehicle she did everything she could to make the transition easy for me regardless of the fact that I wasn't planning on buying a vehicle from Queenston. She kept the car on-site with no pressure to remove it while I bought a new one. She offered to call a wrecker to come haul the vehicle away and then apply whatever money that generated to my outstanding bill and then she found a person who wanted to buy the car and saw that I got enough to take care of the money I owed Queenston. Again, this was all offered with a smile and great communication every step of the way even though I wasn't going to be doing business with Queenston for repairs or a new vehicle. In an age where customer retention is a fading art Teresa did everything she could to ensure that if I ever want to do business with GM again I will head to Queenston without hesitation. She's also guaranteed that I will give Queenston a glowing recommendation should anyone ask about where to go with, or for, a GM product. I can't say enough good things about the help I got from Teresa and Queenston Chev during my last visit. Top marks for everyone!

Just changed my winter tires at this place. Worst time management skills. Zero respect to the customer's time Zero understanding of what "appointment" means. When you schedule an appointment, they actually plan in advance to keep your car in the waiting line for an hour. Changing tires takes 15 min. I spent there almost an hour and a half and missed my next appointment with speech therapist that cost me $85. Needless to say nobody said they are sorry to keep me waiting.

Iam the proud owner of a new 2017 chev traverse or so I thought. So after almost a year of deciding on new or used vehicle my mind was clear on one thing, Traverse. We have test driven new and old but which way to go? The 0% financing seemed like a good idea but Im really starting to wonder. I found one of the few 2017 left with only 60 km on it.. or was it. After getting the vehicle I noticed a vibrations in the steering wheel and that the brake rotors were groved already on the back tires of all places. Seems kind of odd. The engine is also making a funny noise when at idle. On the upside the salesman was nice. But be careful with what you buy. It was a 58,000 mistake for me!

I would have loved to give this dealership a 5 star review but in this instance I cannot. Let me explain why. I purchased my current truck from Queenston approx. 3 years ago and the experience at the time was excellent. Fast forward to last week, (June 2018), I drove over to the dealership to inquire about possibly trading in my current truck and leasing a new one. I spoke with the sales person and explained in very clear, concise detail, the options I was looking for, price I could afford, and time-lime of my purchase. After having my vehicle appraised for trade-in value I was told the only vehicle they (Queenston) could get for me was $48,000 less my trade-in. I again explained that was a bit over my price range and was seeking even a base model as long as it was a crew cab. After a bit of "computer looking around" by the sales person I was told that was my only option. That's it! I then asked the sales person, "do you have anything comparable on the lot to the truck you are describing", I was told no, nothing. But, if I wanted to do the deal to call him. Really? Your not even going to show me anything? Once I arrived home, I was able to find a comparable truck at another local dealer (John Bear) for $15,000 less, all it took was 1 Google search. I then thought it was odd that I was offered a "deal" but was never shown even 1 single vehicle, nothing! How is someone suppose to spend $48,000 without even seeing a vehicle, let alone test driving it. There was never any mention of options, colour, availability, ordering, building, etc. I than decided to contact Don, the New Vehicle Sales Manager to explain what had happened and that I thought it was pretty silly, hoping he would make it right. I didn't even get a "Sorry". Just a long winded email about a truck they could probably order in for me but I would have to do it within 2 weeks. What truck, what options, what price?????? Details needed! Only after having to follow up about how crazy the hole situation was did I get any options at all or any insight into their ability to order trucks in. Why? Why couldn't this have been explained to me while I was their and wanting to purchase? Why wasn't this information presented to be from the beginning. As a RETURNING CUSTOMER with intent to buy I was expecting to have all my options laid out for me. Obviously Queenston is not concerned with customer service or making a sale. I would and cannot recommend purchasing from this dealer.

A plastic bushing on my windshield wiper transmission rod broke. 15 dollar part. I was quoted $1100 to change out the entire wiper system - motor and all. I am exceptionally glad the internet exists. I'm glad I can google parts costs and other mechanics. I paid as much for the diagnostic from queenston chev as the repair cost at a different mechanic.

I go to my friends business and he looks over car free of charge by the way. And calls bs on 90 percent of it. Tells me the real issues and shows me. Then gives me his quote and it is thousands of dollars less than this business. I go and tell them what I want which is only oil change and they come at me with some outrageous quote for stuff oh by way brakes and discs shouldn't cost you 800 dollars just saying.

This dealership has now wasted my time on two occasions regarding their diamondkote package which I paid more than $2000 for. They don't do the rustproofing or the exterior coating and are ripping customers off. Now that I've already paid they won't refund my money or offer the money in a credit. Worst experience with a dealership I've ever experienced and both their service managers Mike and Gary have no clue how to conduct business. I am new to the area and was looking for a new suv. Stopped into the closest dealer. What a shock. No hand sanitizer station. No social distancing as one older gentleman was walking around shaking hands. People in and out of vehicles with no wipe down. They did have plexiglass at reception, but no one there to ask any questions. After 20 minutes of walking around and just laughing to myself I left. Hope the next dealership I visit is better

Go for oil change which work was fine took about a hour. Then my car sits their 30 min ask what up says he waiting on paper work ask if we could get done because I had to be back to work. Instead ignored goes does other work. Then finally lady comes says she did not realize I was waiting and she just got paperwork now over 40 min to paper work on oil change made late for work. Time to move on to someone with proper customer service never again will go here.

But took my vehicle in for it's 1st Oil change and maybe I got lucky, but was in and out quickly... The lady running the desk was nice and even made an effort to find me and ask if I wanted a wash... The staff are in the service are very friendly. They offer you coffee or a hot beverage while you wait. Nice touch. The courtesy drop off and pick up is convenient as well. You don't have to worry about arranging transportation. The driver was pleasant. The only reason I call it a Spa Day for the Trax is because I am a recent widow ans my husband took care of all of this for me. Car maintenance is new to me but the experience was pleasant.

This company is the worst one they will give anyone a car lease and then take extra payments out of your bank account. They talk to you rude, they will hang up the phone in your ear if you confront them about the issue. Mark was my sales man. He would never return calls. He also made me wait days for paper work to buy my car out and then had it ready the day a payment came out and it’s now been 2 months later and no one will take my call I haven’t heard nothing about my money. Please don't waste your time going to this dealership. Extremely unprofessional sales reps. I drove an hour to get to this dealership look at a truck and couldn't finalize the deal because they had an issue appraising my car. Because of this I couldn't make a decision to buy or not, because it depends on how much they would give for my car. This was caused due to their failure to appraise my car. They said they will call in the next morning to let me know, but they never called and decided to sell to another person. I called the sales rep 10 times in the morning trying to get an answer but he never picked up.... later I called the sales department just to hear that the guy sold the truck I was looking at to someone else after telling me he will call in the morning to give me a quote. Terrible service don't waste your time here. Sales reps do not care about the customers they only care about their bonuses here! Please read other reviews as I see that other people experience the same poor service from the sale reps. Sales rep I was dealing with was Billy Zych.

Brought a 2012 Chevy Cruze in for an oil change, have NEVER had an oil leak from this vehicle until right after getting the vehicle back. The oil level was exceptionally high after getting the vehicle back from the dealership and after leaking on my, what was then a completely oil spot free driveway, for two weeks the oil level was STILL too high, which means it was overfilled. The oil pan now needs replacing, a part that should last the lifetime of the vehicle, and the service manager refuses to accept that they over filled my oil because "its all digital!" . Do not bring a vehicle to this service center as they can't even do an oil change properly.

Received a service bulletin in the mail from GM. Stating my 2.0 turbo motor is prone to have a solenoid fail. About a month later the engine light came on and I lost power with a notification that power had been reduced . A sign that the solenoid could need replacing. The engine light cleared it self the next day. I brought it into Queenston to ensure everything was good and dealt with BJ Beaven. He was excellent. Polite and friendly. He worked with a service tech to scan the previous code and find the issue. I was in and out in about 20 mins with an answer and solution. BJ even showed me the information that GM provides on the codes so there was nice transparacy there on how things could go in the future and how they would diagnose. My 3rd time there to Queenston. No issues thus far having bought the car there.

Very poor customer service! I usually don't bother reviewing but since I'm here waiting for an hour I had nothing better to do. Had a recall on my GMC. They advised they would shuttle me back home while doing the repair. Said repair would take about 2 hours. I have been waiting for an hour and yet no shuttle here yet ???? I’ve been a customer here for the last five years and I will not be returning. Not only is their service painfully slow, I would also question some of their business practises in regards to ethics. I had asked upon dropping off my vehicle if it was possible for a headlight bulb to be changed during my service call. When I was billed they ended up charging me $108 for the installation. Even though I acknowledge it is partly my fault for not inquiring further, some transparency and integrity for a long time customer would have been appreciated.

Horrible place. They love you when you are buying something. They ignore and lie to you when you need help. I call for help and suggestions and end up having my car repossesed with all of MY belongings inside that I can no longer have. It took them two weeks to tell me that. I had to keep calling asking how to get my things. When I asked why it took so long to tell me, I was told because they have other things to do. Then they lie and say the payment they took will be sent couriour to me.NOTHING!!! Call for anotherfew days. Finally get a hold of the wonderful leasing manager, wrong postal code!. Saw an ad for "no appointment, drive up oil change" and since I was in the area and was getting very close to needing one I stopped in to see if it was really true. It is! Used to go to the old facility on Queenston Road and would book an appointment and sometimes be waiting for up to three hours for a simple oil change. Up to now all my oil changes were free so obviously I went there for this and was going to go to Jiffy Lube after the freebies ran out because I hate waiting for an unreasonable amount of time. While waiting I browsed the new car showroom and was approached by a salesman who recognized me from the old facility. Nice! A couple of the service ladies also recognized me from down the hill. Anyway, less than fifteen minutes later the service lady came out to show me my air filters and they most certainly needed replacement so I okayed that. Another ten minutes and I was ready to cash out and go home. Reasonable price, quick service, very friendly staff and they even vacuumed out the car! I'll certainly go back for future service needs.

I purchased my 2015 Cadillac ATS from Queenston Chevrolet. The car has been great with 0 issues incountered to date. The staff was so kind and helpful I actually applied to work at Queenston Chevrolet a few months after I picked my car!

Took my car in this morning to change my winter tires and take a look to see what is going on with some lights on my dash. I was expecting a 45-minute - 1 hour job. 1.5 hours tops. Nope. 4.5 hours! I sat in that damned waiting room for 4 and a half hours. No one told me how long it was going to be so, as I said, I was expecting it to take around an hour and had no idea what they were doing with my car as each hour rolled by. I had requested a shuttle but it took 1 hour for the guy to even show up and offer a ride (and at that point I thought there was no point in going home since my car could be done at any time now ... no way). In fact the shuttle only showed up 5 or 6 times in 4.5 hours I was there. So after 3.5 hours in I went out and talked to a guy at service who told me he would check 'right away' and to take a seat and give him ' a minute' and he would come and get me. Almost an hour went by! He walked in and out of the waiting room, and didn't say a thing to me. Things only got moving when I went out the second time (after 4.5 hours) - furious now - to demand what is going on with my car. The (different) service rep. found out, didn't charge me for the tires and gave me a price to fix what was wrong (ie. what was making the lights on the dash go on). So to be clear - during that whole time - no repairs, just to find out what was wrong. And then I was told it would be more than another hour to fix it. Another hour! No way! I voiced my frustration and got on a service shuttle immediately home. Bob, the service shuttle driver was very apologetic and sympathetic, a calming presence actually. I have had my tires changed and things checked out at different places and Chevy dealerships but this was insane! It has never been like this! Half my day completely wasted. Absolutely disgraceful! *****EDIT: Spoke to one of their representatives on the phone and voiced my complaints. He explained it really was an off-day and they try to identify these cases in order to improve their service. They gave me 2 complimentary service vouchers. He seemed very sincere. I certainly appreciate the effort they made to reach out to me, hear me out and and make up for the frustration day. I have to certainly give them points for that.

They were very friendly until I explained the amount I had in mind, they instantly didn't want to speak with me anymore, didn't try a counter offer, instead they began sarcastically remarking that I couldn't afford anything on their lot. Just because a young kid throws out a low number, doesn't mean that they are broke. It's called negotiations, you'd think in a sales position you'd know what that is. Instead they look at younger people as children and talk down to them. Oh well. Lots of other places to buy a truck from.

My son purchased a 2017 Chevy Equinox from myself and my husband. He took it in at 118,000km for an oil change and found that the water pump had broken. Not only did they replace it FOR FREE but they also found a cracked manifold. They also replaced that FOR FREE since it was still covered by warranty. I was able to call on the Friday before Christmas and get a booking to service my work truck on the Monday. I took it in for 745 with a list of service items not expecting it back until late afternoon. It was back within a couple of hours which was amazing considering my normal work day. If I can give them less less than zero stars I would they made me hate the GMC and all its product I have GMC Terrain 2015 and had less than 168000 Km on it , and they charge me in 5 months about $5500 in repairing(and when I asked another machines they were surprised for the price regarding the service provided "I have the details", and when I went to them last time a month ago they said they will charge me $ 3000 because there is some damage to the pistons , they don't even use the Loyalty Advantage Club point , all they want is to charge you more and more, I will never buy a GMC product again , I will contact the GMC headquarters to see if the GMC car so bad so it will cost in repair more than its price , I will never go there again

Got my car serviced at their service centre. Got my car back with my spare tire and jack thrown in the trunk. The more annoying part is the battery and fuse box (which was what was being serviced) were nowhere near the spare tire compartment and the tire never needed to be taken out of its compartment in the first place. A few days before I was trading my 03 GMC in on a 10 Tacoma something else fell off of it so I took it to Queenston who fixed the problem and gave me a whole list of other things wrong with the truck. I already knew of all that stuff, some of it legitimate warranty work that couldn’t be fixed by a northern Ontario GM dealership. Since I was unloading the thing, been putting up with these issues for years and didn’t want another GM I refused, much to their surprise. That’s the point of this rating is that they were honest and competent; a very rare trait. If I ever consider my 5th GM product it won’t be because I think they are a quality vehicle. The only reason I would buy one is because I feel Queenston is capable of dealing with the problems the vehicle will surely give me.

Earlier this week my boyfriend and I were picking up our car, though the service was excellent what wasn't excellent was the lady at the front desk, upon approaching her not only did it start to smell vile like someone just soiled themselves but the lady was extremely unprofessional. I asked where the washroom was, to try and get composure of the smell and all she did was point towards some doors near a lounge which left me to find it myself, coming back to the scene she was also trying to take more money from us when our paperwork said otherwise. We were confused and frustrated and we had questions she couldn't even answer for us, simple questions as to why we were paying more and she had no answer for us. My boyfriend and I looked at each other every time she moved she was passing gas and it was like she had no care in the world what she was doing, I was not sure if she was new or not but she has no idea how to do her job and professionalism isn't in her vocabulary. She did not make us feel inviting in any way shape or form and made us feel like this was a shady deal from the start when she wanted more money from us but no answer as to why. Everyone else was pleasant but the lady in her position should not be working a job that she clearly lacks training in. I asked her how long she has been with the company and she replied since 2018. I'm all for giving someone a chance but we personally dread ever calling or needing to come in and talk to her again.

Very bad customer service. It seemed that they want to punish customers who buy used gm vehicle. Will never buy Gm vehicle again used or new even if it is free. Try some other Gm dealership who has good customer service and who know needs and wants if customers.

My 10-minute service to reprogram some key-fobs was done perfectly well, my only disappointment was the overly expensive charge that amounted to nearly 1-hour's labor.

Worst service ever. Went in to get a safety done for my car and the trunk fixed, since most auto shops don't carry the part. They said I needed $2400 in repairs in order to pass the safety. I knew my car was fine so I took the car in to get a safety the next day elsewhere and it passed with flying colours. Never take your car for service here. They'll gouge you for every penny

order the part 3 days ago they even confirmed the part that I needed then they call me after I call them to find out if the part was in I get up there and tell me it's the wrong part rude and hostile when they're telling me worst place to go to the buy parts from a Chevy dealership if I could I'd put 0 Stars

Good Evening, My son has purchased a vehicle from another Chev dealership which was over 2 hours away, so therefore we weren’t going to travel for maintenance etc so we decided to have this done at Queenston Chev Olds. Through this crisis we are all going through right now with COVID 19 I couldn’t have asked to have been assigned a more understanding and caring service advisor had Shannon. I would without a doubt bring all my vehicles to this location just so I could have the connection like I did with Shannon. Her sense of humour and willing to spend the time to make sure everything is done right... I couldn’t have asked to be more pleased her with service!
