Plaza Nissan is the place to go when shopping for a new car! I came in just looking around shopping for cars because my vehicle was starting to become unreliable and because I was starting a new job; I needed something I could rely on. Going in, I was on a tight budget which can make it hard to shop for a car. I met Holden Fritz out front while walking around looking at vehicles. He took the time to sit down with me to get a better understanding of my budget and needs as well as look over some options for me. In my previous experiences, dealerships want to rush you into buying a car, but that was not the case here with Holden! Holden took his time to make sure he found me the perfect car! He went above and beyond what was expected and helped me get into a vehicle that I could rely on and afford at such a great price. It was the perfect car for my needs. We have been customers of Plaza Nissan Upper James since we purchased our first Nissan in 2009 and met Brendan Maslen and since then our family has purchased many Nissan vehicles because of his professionalism, knowledge, honesty and patience he had with all our inquiries. While Brendan is there we will keep coming back. This year we recently purchased a 2021 Nissan Rogue and dealt primarily with Andy Hudson and had a great experience as well. He kept in touch with us and kept us informed about the journey of our new vehicle as we had to wait several months due to COVID to receive the vehicle. Andy answered our questions, negotiated a good deal for us and went above and beyond dealing with our car insurance company and all the other things that go along with a new purchase. There was a hick up with the transfer of our old vehicle to the new however both Brendan and Andy resolved it quickly and we can't say enough about the overall service and care we received. If you are shopping for a reliable vehicle, knowledgeable, friendly, honest non pressured Sales staff/Management and a good Service department this is the dealership for you. We have been through 4 cars through Plaza Nissan (2013 Rogue, 2 Micras, and a Kicks), so when it was time to trade in the '13 Rogue, it was as though Plaza read my mind. One day, an email popped up from Holden Fitz saying something along the lines of "Hi Melissa, it's Holden from Plaza, wanna trade in your Rogue?" I am sure the email wasn't EXACTLY like that, but I'd like to think that way. Holden and I have been talking for about a year now about what car was right, was it a Pathfinder, was it a Rogue... For a year, Holden was never pressuring me into the dealership - he just said to contact him whenever I was ready. Towards the early spring lockdown, I thought I was ready, test drove and everything, but definitely wasn't ready. And you know what? No pressure from Holden, just saying to come back when I was ready... which brings us to two weeks ago. Holden was super helpful, he was patient with my test drives, and my back and forth when it came to how much I wanted to pay, and was very knowledgeable with contacts and information about roof racks, and tow baskets. HA! I appreciate Holden, and now we are 5 cars in, when our next one is due, we will always seek him out for more. Also, he has an Instagram Page where he highlights his buyers. Social Media is important. This was a huge asset in helping me decide what was right for me. @theholdenexperience

Andy is an absolute delight! My family has been getting a great deal through Andy since I got my first car in 2014. He gave me amazing value for my trade in vehicle and helped me through buying a new 2021 Nissan Versa! Andy is a truly the best; he made buying my vehicle very easy. His communication skills are fantastic and even though I work full time it was always easy for me to reach him. I recommend Andy to everyone who is looking for a new car!

I've had some mixed experiences here with my '17 Rogue. The front service staff for the most part has been great overall and really wanting to resolve any issues or concerns or will try their best to have your car looked at when things happen. What determined this review was my last service trip. I had a grinding noise coming from my front end in which was diagnosed as rusty rotors so I was quoted $400+ to machine them. 1) Surprsing that these days shops still do this 2) Rotors are rotors and at that price should just be replaced. I declined the service and decided to inspect the issue myself. Upon discovery, the grinding noise was from a bent backing plate on the passenger side which I was able to bend back with my fingers. This was probably caused by my summer/tire swap (done by them) and any person with decent vision would see that upon tire removal. At this point I'm wondering if the tire was removed at all or did they just assume it was 'rust'. Calls back to the shop was handled by the front staff,whom was also disappointed to find out the cause, and said they would relay this to their service manager in which they would call me back. Yeah, right! Twice now on two unrelated issues, that the service manager has failed to call me back.

I bought a Nissan kicks from a different dealer, but I live in the mountain area, found out that I had some issues with my warranty in service date. Mr. Ron, service advisor at plaza Nissan handled this complex issue in a very simple way and fixed my problem. Also had some issues with the New vehicle he took care of it. I definitely give a 5 star to Mr. Ron, very professional, polite way of handling customers. If there is delay more than expected they provide courtesy shuttle, and not make you wait for hours. Keep up the good work sir.

BUYER BEWARE: My brother purchased a truck from this dealership. The truck was delivered with the tires deemed unsuitable to pass a safety on the truck and after multiple calls and emails to have the issue resolved, it is still left months later with absolutely no response or resolution. Additionally, he is now experiencing an engine ticking (which he purchased a warranty for due to past experience with engine problems on 2015 trucks) that the $2300 warranty only covers up to $3000 on engine work. This was not disclosed at the time of sale, had it been, he would not have purchased this warranty as it is useless. It was also not disclosed that the use of the warranty at other dealership locations was only applicable at an additional cost, rather it was communicated as though that was included in the cost that was paid. Looking back on the transaction, my brother was also told by the sales representative that someone else had put an offer on the truck, forcing my brother to pay more. Seems like a fishy sales tactic to me. It would appear as though this is a very shady run business that won't bother with you once they've got your money. Don't bother doing business here, there are plenty of other dealerships that will take care of you hassle free post-transaction.

Staff is good. Labor is expensive here. Prices have gone as much as twice to get the oil change. I had an issue in my car and it was under warranty and could not diagonse it. I just go there for an oil change now.

Where do I start... I have bought several vehicles, and had both good and not so good experiences but this takes the cake (chocolate of course). Looking for your dream car has gotten quite hard since Covid. Plaza Nissan made this experience not only painless, but FUN!!! I had a 2008 Altima and a 2016 Rogue both of which I took to Plaza Nissan for every bit of service. It seems though the service department has taken a bit of a nosedive. I took the rogue in for a safety and when told over the phone what was needed and given a price I asked if that included the price of the Safety. I was told yes. They called the next day to give me the final amount and it was way over what I was told. So I'm on my way to pick up the car and I get a call saying oh yes I remember that conversation and have given you 10% off and a break on some of the parts. I saw the minor saving on the parts but no 10% off anywhere. Thats what customer loyalty gets you I guess. Well I'm done with Plaza Nissan

I have a 2018 Nissan Frontier brought it in 1st time didn't diagnose the obvious problem that the clutch fan was gone by the super loud noise the clutch fan made and the Dealer manager went as far to say his truck makes the same noise and sent me on my way just embarrassing. Then brought it in a second time not only didn't they fix it the also charged me for diagnosing the problem they aready new. Truly embarrassing. I was so pressed for time that HE was the one to drive my car down from Barrie and detail the interior before giving me the keys. I've been trying to get in touch with Plaza Nissan service department to book a service appointment for the past month and have had no contact with anyone there. I've been put through by the receptionist to wait on hold and then have left countless voicemails with no call back each time despite the promise of a call back within 4 hours. I've had service done on my vehicle for the past year and a half with no issues but this lack of response when I'm trying to book an appointment for an oil change has driven me to a different Nissan dealership.

Initially I had a first good experience at Plaza Nissan. However my 2nd time going, was not a comfortable experience at all. Although I like my Kicks, they were quick to get rid of me as soon as I signed the papers. Staff do not wear their mask properly. They lie and attempt to charge you ride green fee. When I asked about this fee, they stated that they will put nitrogen into your tires for better fuel economy etc. On top of this, after asking them 4 times for the COMPLETE quote, they finally did but were still hiding some fees to the total price. After driving my car for a few days, I found out my lane departure was not working. I had only called them after having my car for a month and a half as I wanted to make sure whether or not it was really working. They called me back after having my car for half a day to tell me that it was fine. I clarified with them regarding my issue and they said that they will need to take it for another ride. The second call confirmed that it was not working and said that they would call me the following Monday as they had to order my front camera in. I was also told that I had to pay $5 for the complementary car fee to which they realized that I had a brand new car and dismissed the fee. As I have been waiting for a call from them all week, I decided to call on a Wednesday and that was when they told me my camera was ready. But due to conflicting schedule, they were not able to schedule me for another week. They do not call you back as they had stated. Very unprofessional. Also, when we asked about the nitrogen tires, service department said that sales people were lying and that it was the biggest scam to be charged for the ride green fee for nitrogen tires. They stated that everytime you service your vehicle to nissan, they will automatically put nitrogen in the tires. I absolutely regret buying from plaza nissan. They did not give me the first colour of choice, bad service and they gave me a car that does not have the specified feature it is suppose to have.
