Hello to All at Mazda. First I will post about My recent experience. Service personnel were exceptionally polite. Time of service, delivery required, outstanding. Definitely a recommendation deserved. Not to mention last year had to purchase new key fobs and reset security system. All with same results. Considering these results, prices do somewhat reflect the stereotype of dealerships. However the price to pay for Quality services. Thank you to all at Mazda Hamilton. Ali3N the Mazdaghini 3 guy. Now to give a major Thank you to Mazda worldwide and all its affiliates and especially the builders of the cars, employees at assembly. This post is for All Mazda personnel and present and future owners of the Mazda vehicle line. Us consumers. Please take the time in your busy day to give this Story a read it is so worth knowing. Unfortunately I found out the hard way but trust me I am here today writing this. It worked out very well, thanks to the car. So we had just purchased this Mazda 3 sedan because of an accident with our previous vehicle. Owned the Mazda for about a week. I decided that after work I would take it on the highway for the first time since we bought it. Bad idea turns out. I finished work at 2:30 am. Left and went straight to the highway, after Hortons of course, The weather was cool and misty and foggy. As I entered the on ramp an 18 wheeler with a rack trailer went past already at highway speed. As I merged on the highway which was clear except way up ahead was that truck I spoke of. Now as I am cruising with cruise control at ninety k/hr in center lane the truck is in the right lane. Quick back info, I work in Burlington at time of incidence and still live in Hamilton. So as I slowly catch up to the truck I noticed a car on the right shoulder with hazards blinking, I slow a bit did not quite catch up to the truck but was close to see the type of trailer unfortunately could not make out the plate. All of a sudden I see mucky tire tread then BANG I am looking at night sky through my windshield? Then looking down the Highway again then at the ground then BANG again now car is skidding towards guardrail, I just realized at this moment I hit and ran over a rolling transport truck tire. Now realizing what just took place, my skills came to play, I pulled the ebrake and threw it into neutral to straighten the car. At the perfect moment put her in gear and floored it. Perfect move now I pulled over in shock, the truck kept going didn't even notice my headlights just went up and then down to his/her perspective. Anyway the visual damage was front driver side bumper skin cracked and dented not major, the lower grill insert did shatter and rear bumper skin pulled off its clips at the passenger side.which also tells me I literally ran over an upright rolling tire. After about a year's time things started to show wear. I believe because of the Dukes of Hazzard jumping feel I got. Point I feel to share all this is because of the obvious strength of the design of it. Saved my life. So we invested quite a bit and tuned her right up. She is CORKSPORTED in most suspension parts she is all new underneath 100% We titled her Mazdaghini 3. And she sits Purdy. I felt I at least owe the car that much. If you are driving on any road today and want real safe rides. Well after my experience, don't settle until you at least take one for a little ZOOM-ZOOM. THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL OF MAZDA.

I’ve had the Mazda CX30 GT 2021 model for more than 2 months now and I am loving it every day. Back in September, my sister and I had been shopping for cars for about a month and we were lucky to pass by Mazda of Hamilton. From the beginning till the end our sales rep, Basem, was helpful in guiding us to the right car without any pressure to go beyond our needs. TL:DR - They sold me a certified pre-owned with warped rotors and tried to charge me $600 for the repair, among other issues along the way, absolutely ridiculous. Didn't realize the warpage on the 60 km/hr track as badly as the highway, but unfortunately I already owned the car. Called the dealership and took the car in assuring it would be covered under safety reasons, to be told it wont be covered as they drove it on the highway and it wasn't that bad. I took photos before and after dropping the car off and the car moved all of 2kms, which there is no highway within 2km, so they never felt the speed braking causing serious steering wheel movement. Wanted to charge $600 for brakes on the front, absolutely useless. Had other issues while purchasing, tried to say they fixed the issues I had in writing and conveniently they were missing on the final document, so they almost tried to screw me there as well, said I wouldn't accept as I wanted them fixed, while being told the issues "weren't that bad, you will get used to it". Regretting my purchase through them, but not the 2018 Mazda CX-5, wish I could have gotten it elsewhere though. Lost a future purchase of a 2019 Mazda 3 over this issue, hope it was worth it to save on the rotors. Other issues also came up, but those were addressed as they came up, though I shouldn't have had to point them out (large white stain on the back seat and spilled drink on the side of the center console not cleaned before pick up. Take 10 minutes and clean it if I am paying that much for a certified car). Kelly the salesperson was fantastic and I wish him well however, if you do decide to go in ask for him, works hard to make sure you leave happy. I was so pleased with him I almost didn't want to write a review because of how it may affect him. They are rated 20 out of 25 in the area on DealerRater so I would say that pretty much sums up the experience I had. If you buy used make sure everything is in writing and do an extensive test drive as they clearly don't stand behind what they sell once its out the door.

Would be 0 star if that was an option. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Took my car in for a service and the service technician removed my personal property from my vehicle. When I questioned the staff about it the said that I had given them permission and that it was my own fault. Can't speak for sales team but as far as service goes drive to a different dealer.. it's worth it!!

I've been shopping around for quite some time and had recent experience with other dealerships so I write this review keeping my previous experience in mind. Shopping at Mazda Hamilton (Basem was our advisor) was so pleasant, seamless and checked off all our boxes. At no point was there any pushy attempt for sales. Basem listened to all our wants and needs and delivered on each item ensuring the car was within our budget. He was very knowledgeable of the cars and was able to make appropriate recommendations based on what we wanted. The mazda team also kept in touch with us at various points while the worked on acquiring our car. When purchasing a car with another dealership I had to make constant calls to be kept in the loop - so this was something I appreciated. We had such a great experience that we will definitely return to this dealership for future purchases!

What originally started out as a car-browsing day turned into a " Wow, I want that car " purchase. Everything from the initial introduction of James ( Great guy, btw. Deal with him! ) to the shopping and then the pricing/purchasing experience with Steve/Mya ( great sales manager and business manager, also deal with both of them! ) was excellent. Both the sales and service staff was friendly and courteous. Probably some of the most professional people I've dealt with in car dealerships and they're willing to do just about anything to make sure you're driving out with something reliable. Even Post-Sales, they will check to make sure you're okay and that everything with your vehicle is working out in the long-run. Highly recommend this location if you want a Mazda and if you decide to come here, ask for either James or Steve. They /WILL/ take care of you.

Experience dealing with this dealership for the purchase of my 2017 Mazda 3 GX Sedan was very good! It was a nice surprise to walk in and find the salesman that I bought my last Mazda from (when he worked at Centennial Mazda) Art was there. I already knew his kind personality and this made it easier to decide to purchase. The finance person, Eli, was a little challenging to deal with as he was only on the job for two weeks at the time of my purchase. He was polite and friendly, however, quite green and I had to spend some time sitting around waiting for him to figure things out. But in the end, it all came together very nicely. Loving my new Mazda...I would recommend them for sure.

Love it...but even better then a great new vehicle was the way we were treated...The salesman Vince Ferraro is the best car salesman that we have EVER had. He is professional, courteous and very likeable...If you are looking for a new vehicle - do yourself a favour and go to Mazda on Upper James and ask for Vince...you won't regret it.

I bought a new CX-5 in 2019 from them. I did not put on the winter tires last year, but when I tried to put them on now, the wheel lock key only worked on one wheel and not the others. Since I had never used the wheel lock key before, I contacted them to have the issue fixed, since the car is only a year old. Instead of replacing the locks for free, they quoted me $89+tax. Reluctantly, I agreed to pay for it since I just wanted to be done with it. While at the dealership, they said the job is more complicated than they originally thought, so the new price would be $162. 15mins later, the service manager came back to me and said that they would need an entire day to change the wheel locks and swap the tires, so the new price was going to be $284+taxes. After two hours of waiting, I left in the exact same condition that I brought my car to them. The service team said that the issue was caused because I didn’t change my tires last season. I have a Mazda 3 for the last 8 years but I’ve never had this issue and my one year old CX-5 had this issue because I never changed my tires last season??!? When I purchased the car, I received very good customer service from Andrew Hayes and hence referred my friends to buy a car at this location. I also always got my car serviced at this location. It’s unfortunate that Andrew does not work for them anymore and the customer service has definitely declined under the new management and they could not help a loyal customer with a small issue. Definitely not going back to get my two Mazda’s serviced here and will not be referring anyone I know to this location.

A tech (Darshpreet Jhajj) from with this dealership took a screwdriver to my Push Start after I told him my vehicle wasn’t auto-locking. He looked up how the vehicle worked after he scratched up the metallic and still expected me to pay. EDIT: Mazda contacted me but wouldn’t do anything to rectify the situation. Their employee damaged my property and they were reluctant to provide resolution.

Absolute worst dealership. These are the shadiest people, do not do business with them. They agreed to put all new brakes and tires on a used vehicle to ensure safety. We were assured that since they value safety that this would taken care of. It has come to light that they lied. They never fixed these concerns and even put worse tires on the vehicle. Now my family is left to pay for these upgrades. This is unjust and fundamentally wrong and dishonest. Since they have blocked our numbers I have turned here to expose the truth.

Drove all the way from Brampton to come take a look at 2010 Mazda 3 GT spoke to Dominic the general sales manager day before coming to look at the vehicle and he did not even have the decency to let me know that because the vehicle is being sold as is they don't offer test drives which is quite ridiculous. I do not understand how you are expected to purchase a vehicle without at least being able to test drive it first and although the vehicle is being sold is and no test drives allowed they were still not willing to negotiate the price at all, dont bother doing business with this joke of a place

I would not recommend to anyone this dealership. They switch owners and then don't honour a product that mazda sells to their clients. I paid nearly $1000 for a rust proofing product that mazda sold to me at this particular dealership to find out that the job was never completed the whole under carriage of the car was not sprayed - new owners won't honour the issue at hand and instead pass me along to the old management team. They just give me a number to call carnation. Hello!! Mazda should take responsibility for this human error as it was mazda employees who neglected to provide a product/service that was paid for by the client. I will not shop with mazda again after this experience - buyers beware about purchasing third party products from a dealership!

I VERY rarely write reviews, but if this could help someone purchasing a car here. Be WARNED when signing your paperwork and reviewing “extra” insurances with Chloe, she was obviously displeased when we didn’t select warranties on our 2017 used vehicle (my partner can attest to this saying he agrees the mood defiantly changed when we declined), she then continued to try to negotiate the same warranties for better prices when we were clear it wasn’t necessary. I’ll cut to the chase the worst of it is once the car was off the lot. She completely stopped answering my emails (general questions). And to top it off when we picked up the car we were told “the tread on the seasonal tires that came with the car wasn’t good enough, so we put on new seasonals for you”, we were so grateful for the thoughtfulness. Well that was short lived when I re-reviewed the paperwork following my partners accident… to find out this wasn’t a gift of kindness we paid for it. Let me be clear there was NEVER a conversation of buying new tires, or adding them to our bill. I will admit this extra $488 on our bill I should have caught, but being my partner was purchasing his first car, the bill should be throughly explained because he didn’t know any better. Will leave it as were left taken advantage of and although I’d highly recommend Paul the catch will always be Chloe is not transparent and if your purchasing a car here, you will have to go through her regarding financing and warranties. So be very careful. If I had any recommendation we purchased a car from image Honda a year ago and had a amazing experience, and too this day they answer my emails if I have questions.

I have been a customer of Burlington Mazda for years and recently moved to Ancaster so made an appointment at the Hamilton location for an oil change for my 2010 Mazda 3. When I went in I was told it would be $69 (not sure if this was before or after tax). I asked what kind of oil they were using and was told that this is the cost for all oil changes. Comparably I pay $50 tax included in Burlington for the exact same service (and my fifth oil change is free). Either the employee was mistaken or this location is gouging their customers.

Terrible service. Appointments don't mean anything here. Triple booked my appointment slot, and a 9am tire change took 2 hours while we were made to wait outside. They will likely blame COVID for their new conditions but they have been terrible before COVID and will continue to be terrible after. Been taking my car here for years so it's not a one off. Every time the service gets worse and worse including the customer facing side. There is another location in Burlington take your car there even if it's an extra 20-30 minutes to get there. Most likely doing it to me on purpose because I have left negative reviews here before because this is not the first time I've received terrible service. Please please don't take your vehicle here even once. Very pleased to never come back here.

Constantly ripping customers off. I booked an appointment for oil change. Few weeks in, I noticed the oil was never changed last time. You walk in there for tire change you will be told your filters are dirty and air filters need replacement. They are constant trying to upsell and take advantage of you. Decided to go to this dealership due to the excellent reviews. We were looking for an automatic specific vehicle, however that vehicle was not available for test drive at that moment. Was told that they will call us once the vehicle is available. A week later we did get a call from the salesman that the car was ready for a test drive. We went to the dealership and waited for 45mins, and the salesman came back to us saying that the car was actually sold 2 days ago and he wasn't aware of that. Then he offered us to test drive a manual model of the same car. However it will be a sales rep driving and us sitting as a passenger. I was like what the heck is this? Is the sales gonna drive us around forever if I were to purchase the vehicle? What's the use of someone else test driving a car which I'm gonna buy to drive? The salesman went on to tell us that by next week they will be getting a shipment and will call us in for test drive. A month went by with no news no calls. It is time to go to other Mazda dealerships.

Their service is terrible. We purchased a Mazda 3 in Feb of 2018. When we get the car, they did not install the anti-rust coating as written on the contract. Although they installed the Diamond Kote instead, they should still follow what they promised to us. Dealership installed a hitch on my Mazda 3. After receiving the car back the hitch was installed with only 2 of the 4 bolts. I had to bring the car back again for them to check the install. They had it for almost 45 mins until they said they needed another hour to rethread the hole on the frame. I had my kids with me and the waiting area was outside and was a very hot day. Had to schedule another install date. Dealership was extremely hard to get a hold of and the line was always busy, i had this hitch for a week and never used it. Finally they said the tech was a junior and did not follow the directions, they did offer me a free oil change for the install error. I requested a refund and they would refund the part but not the labor. Jessica the service agent was extremely nice and helpful, manager i had to negotiate to have half the labor back since half the job was done. The biggest issue was i should not have had to checked the work from the dealership, this was a certified Mazda part, installed by a certified mechanic. If that fell off and damaged my car, another person or car the end result would have been a lot more money or law suite with insurance than the 20 bucks Mazda wanted to fight me for. Its like going in for a tire change and they forgot to install the bolts on 1 tire. This stuff to me is a rush job , to lazy to lower the exhaust to put the rest of the bolts in. This is a concern to me for future service, I wont stop driving Mazda but i will definitely not be returning to this dealership anytime soon.

Overall good experience, drove from Niagara to Hamilton in order to purchase my new(used lol) car. Dom was great, gave me all the information I needed to help me make my purchase yet wasn't pushy. Offered to give me the time to think it over as he could tell I was indecisive, which I appreciated. Super friendly staff, felt very welcoming, process was quick and they weren't pushy AT ALL. Picked up my car within 48hrs of making my purchase. Would not hesitate to recommend or go back to Hamilton Mazda (even though I bought a 2018 Honda Civic that was traded in lol!). Found this dealership has a very strange sales method, first you can’t see any prices on the cars there’s no tags or prices. So basically you have to speak to a sales representative, who then invite you inside for more information before they can tell you anything about any vehicle. The sales rep Oksana told me its a 45 minute process?. I then told her All I wanted to do was test drive a Mazda 3 to get a feel of it, and see if I like it. After she pursued inside to apparently find the particular(Mazda 3) I apparently wanted to buy, she came back with one she had in mind and said if I have more time maybe we can sit down inside to get more information. I already just wanted to leave, so I took her card and left. Waste of my time!! I ended up leaving and test driving one at another dealership very quick. Won’t be going back to this Mazda dealership ever!!

All I needed was a battery for my key but I got amazingly quick service even though they were very busy. Questions were answered and out in 10 minutes. Always have had a great experience there. Not impressed after going to this location for over a year, earning a free oil change, and being told I can't use it anymore the day I went in to redeem it. If they're going to get rid of the program, as a business owner myself, the professional and courteous manner to deal with it would be to accept what's accrued before retiring the program. I just called for an appointment where I was told by the service manager that during a 144km service where a tech would have my rim/tires off my vehicle, they would not swap over my winter wheels (already mounted and balanced) onto the car - there would be a $35 charge for them to install the winters onto the car even though they would have tires off for the service. I promptly called Budds Mazda who is 30mins further out of my way and was told not to worry as they have never charged for a tire change during a brake service so long as the rims/tires were mounted (totally understandable). Easy choice - Budds' Mazda will now gain a long time customer and Ill leave Hamilton Mazda to nickle and dime someone else. Thanks for making the decision for me.

Update: 2 months and oil change light came on. Oil was super dark. Turns out oil wasn't changed as they said it was before picking up, engine filter was black. Went to mechanic to change it and advised that I would need new tires as they are worn and cracked. Considering I asked the salesman to change them before purchase and he said they were fine is frustrating. will definitely be putting a formal complaint with MTO. Bought a used vehicle in November. The salesman and the finance manager showed me the carfax and asked that I go through it and initial and that I am aware there is a recall on it. I asked if it was taken care of and I was told it was Sure ok. Upon pick up I called the manufacturer to switch ownership. They told me there was not 1 but 2 recalls on the vehicle... And they were both not done. So I called the dealer to find out what happened because I was told it was done. The salesman said he wasn't sure because they told him it was. I mentioned there was another recall and he said he was not aware of that. He proceeded to tell me that a recall is not a big deal and that it can be done rather quickly and that legally they don't have to disclose the carfax at all. Ok..... My point is that I asked specifically if the recall was done and I was told yes. And it happened that it wasn't and that there's actually another one. I really don't think he called at all. Also to tell a customer many times about looking at the carfax and initial here and there and are you aware there's a recall ok no problem, but you didn't know there was 2? The vehicle was there since August. The point to this is I asked and was told something but turned out that information was false. May not be the worst experience but definitely inconvenient and misleading and not what you expect from a dealer with many great reviews. Sales people not knowledgeable just want to make a sale

Wife purchased a vehicle a few months back. Had some issues with it. She contacted the office and they did address those issues. She took it to the mechanic to change a dirty engine filter and the mechanic advised her she'd need new tires as the treads were just enough to pass safety and had cracks in the tire. This is unacceptable for a vehicle that was purchased 3 months ago. She even asked them to change the tires out as she felt they should be changed but they told her they would not. Safe to say we will not be recommending this dealer to friends or family.

Went there after they re-opened looking for a used Mazda3 or CX3. I have never seen so much damage on used vehicles. Every car I looked at had major dents and scratches. I'm not talking scratches from everyday use, but damage from hitting something or being hit. The one car I liked that was in ok shape had a reported accident with over $9000.00 in damage, was told the owner likes to by cars that have been in accidents because they are cheaper. Look at the Carfax for their used vehicles, most have accident reports. My experience from start to finish was appalling. Buyer beware.

I bought my Mazda last year at the Burlington Mazda but since I live in Hamilton decided to go to the Hamilton Mazda to fix something that was broken near my tire. The first visit was great... they fixed a hole in my tire and told me they were going to order the broken piece and call me back to book another apt. At this time i was told this job was going to cost $20.00. Came back to the dealership today and was now told the new piece was going to cost $60. I informed the receptionist that I was told $20.00 so she agreed to honor the original price I was told. 30 mins in she approaches me asking what piece was actually broken as they weren’t sure. So then she figures they actually ordered the wrong piece and now not only I wasted my time going in today but the price has also changed to $50. Just not the kind of service I expected from Mazda.

Especially since they also refuse to honour the loyalty card which works towards a free oil change that was issued by the previous owners. I went in with the intention of buying a particular Mazda3 model so I was probably an easy sell. However, the Vince was very helpful and up front discussing the differences between the 2015 and 2016 models. I got a decent price for my trade in, which was likely worth more to me than to any future owner. We ended up with exactly the model we wanted. Vince demonstrated a number of the advanced features including various settings available via the touch screen and HMI commander and the rear-view camera. He also set up a whole lot of favourite stations on the radio and showed us how to add others. The car was supposed to have the rust control unit and winter tires installed when we picked it up but the paperwork got messed up and I had to return the next day to get that done. On the plus side, the service department was very quick. My return visit also allowed Vince to set up the Bluetooth communication for my cell phone, which I had forgotten at home when we first picked up the car. So far I am very happy with the car: good acceleration, nice handling, good sound system, good mileage.

I showed up after work one day to order some parts, (I had submitted an online quote request, but hadn't received an answer, so I thought I'd stop by on the way home) not realizing that only the sales department was open until 9 pm, parts closes at 5 pm. I was on my way out the door when Ben (I believe he's the parts/service manager), approached and took an interest. We ended up in his office, researching the info and parts I'd need. He found that my issue had a service bulletin, and ended up saving me $160 for a new mirror, he printed the service bulletin and ordered the parts I'd need to fix it myself. He then ensured my parts would be at reception when they arrived, so I could pick them up after hours. I didn't require, nor expect this kind of treatment, especially since Ben didn't have to do this, as the parts department was technically closed. I was fully prepared to return another day. This guy obviously cares, and it shows (give him a raise). Good job Ben, that's customer service! One more thing, it would be nice if parts had at least one day with late hours during the working week.

I was very impressed on his casual approach to purchasing and test-driving to informing us on many aspects from car detail specs, to purchase, leasing and trading in our vehicle. we did go back on several occasions and he worked with the manager on every aspect. We have our purchase down to 2 dealers out of a dozen that is impressive. That shows a lot versus about 5 years ago we had a horrible experience with the dealership sales and management. Just got my 2018 Mazda 3 hatch back from its 1 year 24,000 km service, and couldn’t be happier. Service managed Ben ensures that all items are covered with the customer, and any issues brought to light. I was happy to see that after 17 months of fairly hard driving, the only thing that came up in the ‘yellow/fair’ category were the rear brake linings - completely normal and expected. Ben said they'll be good through the next 32,000 km until the following one. Just days before dropping the car off, I had driven the very muddy Sideroad 25 South in Puslinch - the car was filthier than it had EVER been. I mentioned this to Ben, who ensured that the entire car was given a thorough and proper wash (not just a rinse), and tire-shine generously applied. When I picked it up, it looked new! After the former regime left this unfortunate dealership in tatters, it’s good to see that from the phone receptionist down to the lowly car-wash person, Mazda of Hamilton going above and beyond in an effort to restore the status it enjoyed when I began going in 2009. This dealership absolutely gets my highest recommendation! Welcome back!!!

The Sales Manager, Brian, was friendly, straightforward and easy to do business with. He even came out to greet us on the lot when all sales staff were busy. That's one of my criteria. It maybe old school but if the dealership staff don't come out to greet me I leave. This was even on a Sunday! The Sunday hours are very convenient and one of the reasons we visited. Bought my first vehicle from here, it was great, till someone hit me and it got totalled. Bought my second vehicle from here had some major issues with the windshield was given two key fobs told they both worked assumed the battery died in the one, just tried it today and yup it’s not programmed to my car I’m told I have to pay $130 plus tax by the Kia dealership to program my key fob. I have to pay out of pocket for it even though I was told they both worked, this dealership is a nightmare. I just referred my best friends to buy a car told they do referral fees never got offered my referral fee or anything. I’m so done with dealing with this place I wish I got my second car from somewhere else honestly.

Absolutely terrible. I had an appointment to get my power steering flushed. I told them I just had it everything else serviced. They questioned whether I actually needed it done. Total time was a little over 3 hours. When I asked what was taking so long they said it was coming out from the wash, which they did a poor job at that even. They basically sprayed it with a garden hose for an hour.

This review is a little late but I wanted to share my excellent purchasing experience at this dealership. I had the pleasure to deal with Andreas and the sales manager Brian when purchasing my brand new 2018 Mazda 3 GT. There were a couple hiccups at first relating to the financing rate discussed over the phone however I can’t speak highly enough of the professionalism showed by Brian and Andreas. Although Andreas told me the wrong financing rate, he was empathetic and owned the mistake - I drove here from toronto. I was ready to drive back home but Andreas and Brian were persistent in finding a resolution for me and as a result I ended up purchasing the brand new Mazda 3! I can’t speak highly enough of a staff that is professional, empathic and most importantly HONEST in their dealings. We all make mistakes and the leadership team here is definitely equipped to not only find resolutions but also make sure their staff are better for them. Additionally the pricing is fair and upfront - so what more can I ask for! I definitely will be considering Mazda of Hamilton for my future vehicle purchases in the future - Toronto drive and all.

Last year we bought a new black CX5. As seniors, we have had more than 10 new cars over the years, all but one were Buicks. This was our first Mazda. We find that the paint job is not good: any small chip shows in the hood far too easily, unlike any other car we have had, so we are even wary of taking it through a soft cloth carwash. The paint job seems to be very thin. We were not satisfied with the dealer or Mazda in a remedy (we were given a paint touch-up stick). We are told this is an issue and so could never recommend this auto.

I had a great experience at the dealership buying a used 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sales managers Brian DeVincentis and Dominic both helped me the first couple times I came in to test drive a couple of them. I found one I liked at another one of there dealerships and Brian brought if over for me the next day! Quality, quick service. They were not pushy and they were willing to help me out. The one I wanted to buy had a couple items missing and Brian DeVincentis had new parts ordered and installed in no time. Salesmen James also helped me out. He was very friendly and easy going. He did not try to push me into anything and was able to answer my questions or find someone who could. One other salesman, Will, helped answer some of my questions for my particular vehicle. I also talked to 2 different finance managers (Mya and Chloe) who were friendly and not to pushy. They handled everything for me right away and I did not feel pressured into anything. The Sales Manager Brian DeVincentis really had everyone working as a team and it was a very friendly environment to be in. The sales staff really seemed to enjoy working with him and respect him, which made it a very pleasant experience each time I was in the building.

I had a great experience with mazda of hamilton. That is, BEFORE they recently switched to new owners. I have never dealt with such an incompetent and dishonouring level of customer service. It seems as if they've left out any previous customers to dry as if they're not their problem anymore. Please don't reply and apologize, telling me to call so "you can make this right". I've tried several times so instead, I've left a complaint with Mazda Canada. EDIT: well within a matter of hours of formally complaining my issue has been resolved and I've Recieved several apologies. Hopefully the dealership will learn from these kinds of things and do better going forward.

I had originally left a 5-star review when I had just signed for my new car purchase, however my experience post-sale has been quite frustrating. There was misinformation and it ended up costing me more than what we had agreed to. Additionally, I’ve been trying to contact a finance manager to help me cancel life insurance on the car loan for two months now... with absolutely no luck. I understand people are swamped, but it has been super disappointing how dodgy everyone is. I tried to cancel the life insurance on my own, however the service provider advised that the dealership should contact them directly because my insurance policy isn’t showing up in their system yet. I’ve left numerous emails, messages, voice mails, and even visited in person and spoke to the GM at the time, the former finance manager and most recently the receptionist now all in hopes of just getting any sort of assistance. I was looking to service my car here moving forward however I can’t recommend this to anyone after the customer service I’ve experienced. Hoping this review will at least get me an honest call back if you care about your customers. Update: I called the number listed below and was told no one can do anything because it was the previous owner that made the car sale.

And James (who sold the car) is really nice and reliable during the whole process, I could get my new 2021 grey Mazda 3 quickly thanks to him. The thing I like most is that he not pushing you to finance more comparing to other Mazda dealers. Overall, it is a good car, just Carplay seems not stable during driving, it may need to take a look.

I am writing this for my brother Terry who does not have email. He was rear ended a few days ago and his 2012 Ford Escape was written off and he asked me to go with him to look for another car. I have bought 3 new Mazda’s from Mazda of Hamilton (formerly Mountain Mazda) which were great cars and great experience with the dealer. He ended up buying a 2012 Hyundai Tucson at Mazda of Hamilton. The people we dealt with, sales lady Tikka Smith, sales manager Brian DeVincentis and business manager Shaun Butt were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Although when I wanted to buy a new CX5 last year, I loved the car but the front seat was not comfortable, I bought something else they gave me a $100 for recommending Mazda of Hamilton to my brother after having bought 3 new cars there. Over all a great experience and a great dealership, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car.

As someone who has worked in service and sales, Will was able to answer all kinds of questions and concerns. Will is extremely accommodating and will continuously go out of his was to ensure his customers understand and are comfortable with all the information being thrown at them, especially during what can be a confusing time. For example, because the model I was interested in buying is not one they frequently have on hand, Will found the 2 closest cars for me to test drive and actively pointed out details I had mentioned throughout our dealing. As others mentioned here, they got rid of the free oil change program as I was going in to redeem it (I know it's new ownership but it would've gone a long way if they honored it). Also, under new ownership oil change price was jacked up to $108. Then they told me at my next oil change (20 month, 40,000 km, my car currently has 20,000 km) that I would need a tranny flush and a cabin air filter change and it would cost $280 + taxes. I looked up the maintenance schedule and 20 months is just a basic oil change. I will not go back to this place.

Absolutely the worst and most insulting service I've ever received. A sales person by name of Amed told me to come see a car and gave me hopes of negotiating the price because "my offer would be more serious if I was there in person". So, I drove two hours to get to the dealership only to find out the owner has taken the car for his personal use and isn't bringing it back for me to see. After not receiving any apology from Amed for being misinformed and for driving 2 hours to get to him, I patiently waited for him to offer me anything that can make the situation better. I received no such thing. I then asked him to at least help me get the price I was hoping for ($1500 less than the $33000+ asking price) so in my opinion, a reasonable offer. Then the best part of all, the least professional sales manager comes through the door. As a customer, I assume he would make the situation better but instead tells me things like "if you can't afford the car, you shouldn't be here" and "I don't care if you drove two hours to get here, I'm not discounting the car for you". I'm left shocked and speechless. I have never had such bad or insulting service and accusations. To all of you reading this, I advise you to NEVER buy a car from this place. Don't even step foot through the doors, unless you wish to be lied to and insulted.

I also reported a problem with the car’s brakes pre and post sale and nothing was done to correct it. Not even a follow-up call. They even wrote down the wrong KM’s on the final sale bill...something fishy is going here.

My wife and I received a call yesterday from the service department asking to move our appointment as it was scheduled on Good Friday. The lady on the phone was quite pleasant and read our booked appointment back to us. We told her some English guy assured us if we missed our scheduled maintenance that our warranty would be null and void. The lady on the phone told us this was NOT the case and that whoever had booked our initial appointment had written down that we declined our scheduled service. Fact is I had done the brakes on my wife’s car and that this English guy was pushing for me to spend money I didn’t need to spend and holding my warranty over my head. I also contacted Mazda Canada and at no point did their representive tell me if we missed a scheduled maintenance that our warranty would be null and void. The girl from the service department assured us that these services were guidelines mandated by Mazda Canada and nowhere does it say that someone who declines their $300.00 service would no longer have a warranty. This English guy we spoke with first is clearly a liar because the story I got from his co worker and from Mazda Canada didn’t seem to match his. My wife will be carrying out services at Burlington Mazda from now on. Do your research before going to any dealership for service, especially this one.

Purchased: Mazda CX5 GT- My wife and I went to 8 dealerships to compare all vehicles in this class and to really do our homework before buying. We obviously loved the car but the service we received was second to none. James, Brian (the manager), and Chloe (finance) were all amazing. They had the perfect balance of being engaged and helpful showing us the proper attention without being pushy or aggressive. We had never even been in a Mazda dealership before and the made us feel like life long customers. They all went above and beyond for us, James was friendly and laid back but knowledgeable and helpful (he even came in on his day off just to accommodate us to close the deal.) Brain was easily the nicest and most welcoming Manager we came across, and Chloe was extremely patient and answered the million questions I had about the warranty. We would and will recommend anyone to go see them if you're in the market for a new vehicle!

Avoid this place's service department like the plague. I bought a new car from them and been bringing my car here for service for 1.5 years. I'm incredibly patient and let the little things go but the new ownership that has taken over has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Under the new ownership, they offered me 4 free oil changes for a long standing issue I've had with the car. After 2 of the 4 oil changes, they backed out of our agreement stating the deal was made with the previous owner and not the new one and would not carry over. What they said was false and I had dates to prove that the deal was made under new management. They had raised the cost of an oil change for my car to $89.99 and refused to honour our agreement. I asked to speak with the new ownership or someone with authority and that was also refused. Gave me an email address to write my concerns to and so I did. Their Director of Operations responded to me after I had included in my email what had happened and requested an official statement of when the new ownership came into effect to prove I was right. The director refused to answer me after multiple emails and then proceeded to blame everything on the service manager. The director told me in our emails that the service manager made bad decisions and was removed from his position. How incredibly unprofessional is that for a director to act? The professional response would be "the service manager is no longer with us" or "he's now in a position better suited to his skill set." The director should not have told me the service manager was demoted. Acknowledging that the service manager made bad calls, the leadership should be responsible for the actions of their team. Instead of following through and making the customer happy, the ownership blamed the service manager and told me I am SOL. They backed out of our agreement dishonestly with reasons that were false so how can I trust them to handle my concerns and take care of my car in an honest manner?

Went to Mazda on upper james today and was pleasantly surprised. Although we did not and up liking the vehicle we tested out, our Mazda Rep Khan was absolutely great. Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. However, on a side note, take their 'free trade in value appraisal' with a grain of salt... We were told our car was worth $2700 when two other car dealerships appraised it at $4850 and $5100.

Warning to potential customers that this dealership is completely unethical. With short supply of CX-3 models in the configuration and colour that was desired, I called several places and Mazda of Hamilton said they had the exact model and colour. I live downtown Toronto, and a few dealerships had the same model but not 1st choice of colour desired. I drove the same day to Mazda of Hamilton and learned that the vehicle was actually at their Burlington location. They reassured me it was the same owner and it was no problem. I signed all the paperwork with full payment. During the process, it was inquired several more times to confirm they had called the Burlington location to reserve the car. Each time I was reassured that the Manager had made the call and the car was ours. We were supposed to get an update a couple days later, and heard nothing. After several days, we called the sales representative and learned that the car had been sold. How is that even possible? I am left to assume that they lied to me and there was no vehicle or they sold it to someone else after already selling it to me. Emails to the sales representative, finance manager and even the General manager have all been unanswered in regard to the issue. It is unfortunate that you treat a Mazda customer in this manner. Not only does it reflect poorly on your dealership but also puts doubt if I will ever consider buying another Mazda again.

Worst experience ever. Went in for some warranty work on an oil pan. Completely butchered the repair, and almost ran out of oil.. went a second time, still leaks. My warranty was almost done so I was concerned that if they were deficient in the repair I would be left with a leaky car and no means to fix it, When asked if they would warranty their work they said no. They don't have enough confidence in their workmanship I guess. Long story short save the headache and go somewhere else, I did.. Third repair at shop in Oakville resolved the problem.

I offer 3 starts, as my sales experience wasn't overall negative, I got a good used vehicle at a reasonable price. I do want to share my thoughts however about one part of it. I bought a 2016 Used Silverado in April 2018. It included a DiamondKote rustproofing. It was not something I wanted, but apparently I had no choice in the matter. The initial coating was clearly inadequate, so I insisted on them redoing it, which they weren't happy about, but did comply. It has to be inspected every year, and just from looking underneath, there is clearly rust starting to form, but they won't do anything because it is surface rust, and not perforated. So my take-away from the rustproofing is that it really won't prevent a problem, and they won't do anything about it until it IS a problem, and a major one at that. It's like those extended warranties you get offered on appliances and stuff, generally with all the fine print, it isn't worth the paper it's written on. Unfortunately, they apply it, and you have no choice, they then treat it as a feature. It's just another sales tactic.

Went with my girlfriend to Hamilton Mazda for annual rust inspection. We noticed that the mechanic parked the car in the shop but never performed any inspection. We were standing outside, and we could see through the open garage door that nobody inspected our car. 30 min later the mechanic took the vehicle outside the shop. The girl on the front handed us a key and said that car is OK. We didn't even bother to argue. There are two rust spots on her vehicle. One on the hood and one on the tailgate. What a waisted time Enough said about this place. I will never purchase Mazda again.

Perhaps the worst experience I have ever had with a mazda dealership or service in my 9 years of being a loyal mazda customer. Purchased 4 vehicles from Mazda Canada alone in those years. Never had any issue with mazda service, until with this place. Never gives a follow up call on any updates for your vehicle. And never a shuttle available for you even when they promise you a week ahead of being scheduled. Kept my car for almost 2 weeks. Never bother offering a loaner vehicle until I called near the second week. Then they offered one. I can understand covid is an issue. However, if your following covid procedure, and keeping customers in waiting room. Why don't you offer more shuttle service then? Never even gave me a follow up on my invoice. Only provided a $15 discount even though my cab fair was over $70 to get back and to their shop. I never ask for any discounts. I always pay top dollars at regular price. But please be generous with an adjustment to the invoice. Service manager Jessica is no help either. Mentioning I was already offered a loaner (ya during middle of a long weekend and that's because I brought up this issue) and she believed a $15 was a fair even though I pay top dollars. Anyways you have lost a loyal customer. Will not be shopping either for my next vehicle at mazda again.

Once you purchase your vehicle and the salesman's fake smile goes away, and ask you many times to post a good google review with his name. This the point when you find out that you purchased a bad product (six recalls on our new Mazda 3, various interior noises, frequently inoperative camera, etc.). The worst part is the poorly managed service department. Service is a very unorganized place. For example, setting up an appointment does not mean anything. It will take at least 45. min before they take your car. Mechanics do not use any seat protection/covers. I found this very unprofessional. Usually, you have returned a couple of times because they claim they "don't have parts in stock and need to be ordered," or they didn't fix the car correctly the first time. Usually, after an oil change, oil is dripping on the driveway for days. Then you have to go to another repair service to fix an oil leak after an oil change. This was the point when you decided not to fix the vehicle at this dealership anymore. They also don't perform all the work they claim they do. I can see that most of the good reviews are related to sales, but not service (for the reason I mentioned earlier). Once you purchase a vehicle, they don't care anymore unless you spend money on repairs that are not covered under warranty. We are not looking forward to a service or rebuy a Mazda vehicle anymore. And please do not respond to this review because we don't care anymore, and neither do you.

Avoid this dealership like the plague! My daughter bought a car from a very pleasant salesman, and she was very satisfied with the vehicle, however the "business manager" was rather "pushy" with the extras, selling her not 1 but 2 extended warranties. The Mazda warranty was enough, be she talked her into an additional one call "Titan Endurance". (What a joke! Everything I`ve read about Titan is not good, BTW). Anyway, she unsuspectingly signed the agreement, which cost her almost $2700, for 60 months coverage, which was added to the cost of financing. Through no fault of her own, she was involved in an auto accident that resulted in writing off the vehicle in less than 4 months from date of purchase. Her auto insurance paid for EVERYTHING except the extended warranties, telling us that we had to deal with them separately. Mazda Canada refunded her money without incident. (All except a pro-rated amount of about 4 months of the 60 month period, and a nominal cancellation fee of $35.00. She received that refund within a month.). Here`s where the story goes south... we contacted Titan Endurance and were advised that we had to go through the dealer. We contacted the salesman, whom she bought the car from, and he had since left the dealership. The woman we spoke to (Mya), was quite rude and condescending and said its not her problem and we had to go through Titan. After several weeks of getting the run-around from Titan, we went back to the dealership, and were met with much the same there... Between the 2 of them, they stole close to $2500 of my daughter`s hard earned money, and no one will help her recover the loss, which goes straight to the profit statement of all the companies involved! DO NOT do business with this dealership! They are rude, condescending and dishonest! And for god`s sake do NOT sign up for Titan Endurance!

A WORD OF CAUTION regarding 2009-2010 Mazda 6 recall #28181 "the front cross member may rust due to a manufacturing defect.". After a Mazda Dealer determines warranty work is needed they will keep your vehicle until parts are available. Hamilton Mazda estimated that the parts may not be available for between 60 and 90 days. Deeming the car unfit to drive they will provide a rental vehicle while they wait for parts for the repair. According to Mazda Canada they will pay up to $35. per day for the car rental but not for insurance. Some insurance companies will only transfer your policy to a rental car for up to 30 days. You would have to purchase insurance from the car rental company for the last 60 days. Car Insurance purchased from Enterprise Rent-A-Car for 60 days would cost you $1,200.
