Update Jan 2021—Kennedy rectified my issues and I’m now the proud owner of a 2020 Ford Edge. Thanks to Gary Mahas at Inside Track Canada (my online broker) for all his expert negotiators UPDATE NOVEMBER 17, 2020 After negotiating back and forth to resolve, they stopped communicating with me. They first offered $200, reduced to $100 then offered a service credit (I live 2 hours away). I’ve asked the manager to respond but he hasn’t. Sunroof leaks, car makes all kinds of squeaking and all 4 tires replaced for sidewall blow outs with under 55,000 K. Absolutely no help. My 1 star review remains Purchased a brand new 2017 Ford Escape from here. Before 50.000 klm I had replaced all 4 tires — sidewall blow outs. Contacted them continually with no luck. Told to contact the car manufacturer? Later I find out that the tires would have been covered if the dealership returned the defective tires to them directly. Tried desperately for a mutual resolution before I wrote this review. Unfortunately, I was told repeatedly that it’s not their issue. I will never buy another Ford again—this was my first and my last, nor any vehicle from this dealership.

Over all not to bad. Was dissapointed when initial used vehicle we were looking at had a navigation screen that was damaged by a manager at the dealership. Someone let that slip during the test drive, not saying who... I was told it would be replaced before delivery by the used sales manager. The day before the pick up of the vehicle I got a call and was informed it would not be replaced. The dealership should have repaired the damage regardless of what level of staff was responsible. I ended up looking at another used vehicle and got that instead. Oh, they provided the wrong owners manual. Found out when I got home. Not only wrong but from a different model 4 years older. Nice touch! I just wanted to close the deal and end it. I was there for the car, not the awkward handshakes. Sales team was nice though, they tried. The receptionist was very nice. We talked about raising our children and how parents now a days are too soft on there kids. Best part of the sales experiance. The time my wife and I spent with our financial service manager, Taylor, was very enjoyable also. Clear and not to aggressive with up sells. Great guy. Would I buy from Kennedy Ford again? Ill leave the answer up to you.

Very quick review of my visit, I spent over 3hrs there with my 2 kids looking for a brand new truck, and no one even asked for a drink. Vehicle we were test driving & discussing on was sold to another buyer who came after us. As soon as I heard that, I made my mind to just walk out of there but due to respect I waited to end the conversation. The sales person was very courtius, very nice and professional; it was not his fault, I guess senior sales people just ran him over during my visit or someone inside saw me and things turned out that way. I don't know whatever the reason was, they should make car buying experience less stressful. They have sure lost a customer today because we would have decided tonight for sure. I have now booked two appointments tomorrow with other dealers outside Oakville, one is even two cities away and would finalize my deal elsewhere. I will buy from this same sales person if I see him working elsewhere, but not from this dealer.

Excellent service. I've always found they do a good job. They pointed out that my transmission seals on my 2010 Fusion were starting to leak and gave a quote.. I left it a few weeks and sure enough some oil marks were showing up on the driveway. Got the car in a week later and fixed for the quoted price. All good.

Picked up a mustang gt350 yesterday evening. The whole experience was fairly smooth, no troubles at all. Key people were Harleen and Massimo who were encouraging, very friendly, knowledgeable, and detail oriented which made buying one of fords most powerful engines seem less daunting. Overall, the team that helped us was absolutely great and I think I would come here again if I can receive the same service from wonderful people like them.

Last week I took my 2013 Ford Fiesta in for an oil change, numerous recalls, as well as a transmission clutch problem that was still occurring even though it had been serviced for that same issue twice previous to this visit. I dealt with Mike at the service desk, when I told him what was wrong he made some very rude and condescending comments back to me because I am a female. One of them implying that I didn't know how to drive and that's why the car wasn't accelerating properly. When I came in the next day to pick up my car not only was a plastic part of the door broken off but the transmission problem was worse than ever. This is not the first time I have been treated this way (by Mike personally), and after this experience I will never return to Kennedy Ford again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else. No one should feel that way when trying to get their car serviced.

I visited multiple car lots from a variety of different car brands and none could compare to the excellent service I received at Kennedy Ford. The excellent service I received was from Clayton Mackney who helped me to find the perfect vehicle. When I was visiting other car lots it would take over 20 minutes before someone even came out to talk to me. Within only 10 minutes of being on the lot Clayton came over to assist me in finding the vehicle I now own. There was enough time to browse the selection and formulated any questions I would want to ask. Throughout the process Clayton was always available to reach by both phone and text. Kennedy Ford is the real deal! I just purchased a vehicle from their pre-owned inventory and now that it’s all said and done, I’m so happy I didn’t go elsewhere. The environment at this dealership is very welcoming; the staff are kind and personable, available to answer questions at anytime (appreciated this the most!), and they go above and beyond to meet your needs when purchasing a vehicle. My sales representative, Clayton, was very helpful and made the experience the least bit intimidating. Came here for the Takada Airbag Recall. I don't buy new and do my own work, so I normally stay far away from dealerships. My experience here solidifies my stance on this. Without a doubt, this would be a zero star rating, however, the Service Advisor was an absolute gentleman, and I would give him 5 stars alone, but the work preformed was abysmal. Panels misaligned and scratched up interior. Unfortunately, I had thought this would happen but for [safety] recalls, unfortunately it MUST be done by the dealer. I was in-and-out in less than an hour, which is acceptable for this job(s), but now I have to spend the afternoon going over their sloppy carelessness realigning panels and will need to find a solution for my scratched dash pieces. For airbag recall done on Mustang, please do yourself and car a favour and take the time to go to Ridgehill Ford in Cambridge, or Gallinger Ford in Milton. I am kicking myself for coming here for this recall. Parts Counter has also always been very kind and helpful.

Thank you so much Steve Hartnup for selling us a three year old Chevrolet Silverado LT base model.. after driving it for one year for less than 10, 000 km the truck needs a brand new transmission and the vehicle has the shakes while driving. Great investment for a small start-up business. When we purchased the vehicle, upon pickup they gave us one programmed key with a dead fob to unlock/lock the vehicle and one key that was not programmed to the vehicle (it can only unlock the doors and tailgate). We were told we would be given two keys when we bought the truck, thinking they would both be programmed and functioning keys. We were told if we wanted the second key programmed it would be at an additional cost. Don't buy used vehicles from this dealership.

I bought a used vehicle here last week and had a great experience. Clayton and Craig were professional and courteous and never once did I get the feeling that I was being lied to or pressured in any way. I will definitely be dealing with them again in the future. Be warned though; the parking lot is a cluster#$@& nightmare and you should mind where you park as you may never see your car again. I personally witnessed a poor old lady perform a 67 point turn to get her boat of a navigator out of a spot that can only be described as a final challenge on Canada's worst driver. Other than that, it was a great buying experience.

Spotless interior, no rust on the exterior, 160k, and including dealership fees it was very, very affordable. The dealer that I spoke with was Ryan Keatings and he was very professional. He informed me of everything I needed to know, as I was up front with him that I was green about buying used, and was quite pleased with his thorough, friendly and professional approach. There were no surprises once I started driving the Oldsmobile and everything worked as it should have. All in all, I'm very pleased with my transaction through Kennedy and with Ryan Keatings. Location is handy for me for oil changes but the service is no better or worse then a fast and jiffy lube. It is nice to have the ability to have warranty work done there. They do seem to always to forget something - reset oil life, include notes on invoices etc. They really over priced the labour to have the USB hub replaced on my Ford Edge. I did it in 15 minutes and they wanted to charge $180 plus parts. I am assuming someone who knew what they were doing would have it done in about 5 minutes. This puts their hourly rate and an incredible amount. I would not recommend sending someone who isn't mechanically inclined as I cannot trust they wouldn't be taken advantage of.

I would rate this dealership with "zero" stars but it's unfortunately not an option. Worked with Tanner, who was a sweet sales guy but it was the sales manager who killed his deal and left me questioning the sexist practices at Kennedy Ford. The sales manager was beyond insulting towards me and treated me like a complete idiot over the trade in value of my vehicle. When they were supposed to be building trust and earning my business. I explained to Tanner that I would be taking my business elsewhere but I kept receiving harassing calls from the manager and owner....they refused to take No as my answer. Management also failed to reassure me that the sales manager would be held accountable, the only solution given was that he wouldn't be present during signing. The sales manager even tried to guilt me into the sale saying that the sales rep needed the business. When all I needed was to be treated with respect. We ended up buying a Subaru Outback and will never consider another Ford vehicle or Kennedy Ford ever again.

I had given feedback about a year ago that although we had no immediate plans to purchase a new car, if we bought a Ford in the future, we’d be coming to Kennedy Ford. First of all: as a customer, I have always appreciated the thoroughness of the service team. Robyn is my usual contact (by chance), and she’s got a great mix of being genuine and relatable without losing her professionalism. She’s really a star. Mike and Mary Ann (sp?) have also helped me a few times, and although I haven't had as much contact with them, I have noticed that they also have great personalities that are so perfectly suited to their roles. Those three (and whoever makes the actual appointments over the phone) give me confidence that the Kennedy Ford customers are taken care of even after the sale goes through. Secondly: as an insurance agent, I work with dealerships all day, every day. Most of them drag their feet on paperwork, or blame anyone but themselves if things aren’t done in time, regardless of how much notice they've given our staff about a vehicle change. I have not had that experience with Kennedy Ford even once. If a ball gets dropped, which is less common with this dealership than others, the sales people and financial managers are focused on fixing the problem, and keeping the customer happy. This tells me that they think their customers are not just a number; they’re real people who deserve to have a great experience when they purchase a vehicle. I cannot explain in words how much better this dealership is than others in this respect, and the confidence it gives me knowing that their customers are seen as people first. For these reasons I knew that if we purchased a Ford, we would come to this dealership. My husband is picking up our new 2017 Ford tomorrow night, and we have been helped by multiple sales agents, not one of whom ever treated us as wasting their time since they weren't getting the sale themselves. I know I will not regret our decision to purchase our Ford through this dealership.

Apparently the 2012 Ford Fiesta is a lemon. I'm on my 5th clutch (it's an automatic) and recently had to spend $2400 to repair a corroded battery junction. The REALLY frustrating part here...the 2011 model has a recall for the SAME problem, my year does not. When I went in to pick up my car, the 'lovely' woman working the counter just grabbed the bill and gave me my total and stuck her hand out for my credit card. Didn't review what was done, nothing. When I asked a simple question about the repair, I got an "I don't know" answer. I have had nothing but problems with this car since I bought it and have had NO support or even empathy (part of your job as customer service reps!). I continue to take my car to the Ford dealership, I figure if anyone can fix what's wrong with it, it's the place where I got the car and to be honest, I want to track every single work order for my car through the Ford organization to show you the frustration your product gives. Not only the day to day but because of your terrible product, my re-sale value is shot. So you 'screw' with my new car and you're going to screw me again when I try to sell it. Never buying a Ford again and tell anyone who will listen to me not to buy Ford either. Now, there are some great folks there, Devon is really nice and the most understanding of all of the people I've dealt with. The lady with her hand out, needs some customer service skills.

This dealership has made me realize there are always good and bad apples out there. Most dealerships I visited treated me with respect while others didn’t seem to care as much. What made a difference for me was my sales rep Gerardo who went above and beyond to try and make sure I was comfortable with what I am buying. I had been put in touch with him after an email inquiry which I had sent to the dealership. In most cases the sales folks don’t take online inquiries seriously and pressure you to either come in or provide your number so that they can speak with you and try to convince you to buy their vehicle. This wasn’t the case with Gerardo, he was comfortable replying back via email and txt and never pressured me for a sales call. Often sales people give up and after a few queries and give you the impression of stop wasting my time, but I never got this from Gerardo. Didn’t matter how many questions and emails I threw at him, he always replied back with right tone and welcoming attitude. The first vehicle we touch based about was eventually sold to another buyer and I was still in the research phase at that point during my buying process. I went around looking at other manufacturer offerings, but every time I communicated and stepped into a dealership I did not get a response from them that I liked or the vehicle did not turn out as it was described. So I circled back with Gerardo a few weeks latter as I saw a nice truck come up on the lot, he engaged right away to make sure he was able to get me the information I needed to make the decision. I walked into the dealership for the first time and they offered me a fair value for my trade in and an hour later I walked out with my first pickup truck. No pressure for finance deals, extended warranties, accessories, etc. set the deal how I wanted and got it done. Gerardo took care of the smaller things before delivery and the truck was given to me as if it were brand new. Three weeks latter an issue popped up, called 1-800-Gerardo and he set up a service visit the next day. Service rep Carrington was great to deal with and set me up with a loaner and kept me updated on the progress until the issue was resolved. This is my first Ford vehicle, I have only owned imports all my life and the last 10 yrs. I have been with luxury brands, I have yet to see this type of commitment and team work play out at any dealership. Keep up the great work team Kennedy Ford!

Careful when you order a new truck and agree to getting the premium care warranty package. They will tell you whatever they need to tell you to convince you to get the premium warranty, but when it comes time to use that warranty for very reasonable things they won’t fix it. It was nice to finally find a dealership in Oakville called Kennedy Ford that has staff well prepared when you arrive by appointment. My wife and I have been touring a few dealerships over the last few weeks to purchase a new car in and around Oakville and Mississauga, and found that other dealerships either had no inventory or simply weren't interested in trying to help us find what we wanted. I initially was the one who went to look at Kennedy Ford, when I met a fine salesman named Patrick Corrie. He is one of the best salesmen that I have met in long time. In our short meeting the first day, he made some notes after short to the point questions. I asked him to setup an appointment for me and my wife to come back for a test drive of a particular Demo car we were interested in. The following test drive day, Patrick had our vehicle and another vehicle ready and on with the air on for us to test out 2 versions of the same vehicle. He was prepped and ready for both of us. Soon after that day we set up for another test drive, and again Patrick had the car ready. We purchased the Demo car that day. When we met the Financial Manager Amanda, she too was ready for all of our questions and made those 2 days very easy to understand. We also had the privilege to meet one of the owners who was also a nice person to speak to. As for the time? These guys were great- I went in at 10, and by 3:30 PM, I had my new Ford Edge. By 4:30 I was on the road! I have my new dealership for life, that's for sure!

It has been a year now since I decided to take my 2015 F 150 in for check and fix the driver and passenger side malfunctioning windows. Since then I had tree more visits at the dealership's service because the problem is just getting worse. It is almost at the point where I can't role down my window while driving because then I can't close it again. But unfortunately I am still driving with the malfunctioning windows, because all four times of my visit I was told the same non sense story what is really ignorant towards the customer. Assuming the customer doesn't have a automotive knowledge.(Like the customer is stupid )This is an insult. I have over 20 years of professional experience in automotive industry and also worked for Ford, so I assume I know a little about cars, service and the etiques of the industry. The condition of my vehicle is not normal, and is also supported by a opinion of a few of the dealership's employees yet I am supposed to put up wit the fact that the windows are not working, but everything is ok the way it should be and nothing can be done to solve my issue. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I was met by the service advisor and checked in quickly. The oil change ant tire rotation did not take long. I was in and out in slightly less than 1 hour. I encountered a problem several hours later after my truck had been sitting idle. There was oil on my driveway. I took it back the dealer and was taken right away. They told me the cause was some oil on one of the frame members. They cleaned it up and I was on my way. They were apologetic but this should never happen, this is poor workmanship.

First time buying a used car from a dealership, and also my first ever Ford (2014 Ford Focus). Went in after seeing a car that I liked on autotrader. Met with S. Hartnup. There wasn't any sales pressure, but also not much information was given to me about the particular model, the transmission issues, etc. Bought the car on the spot and the experience seemed seamless and I was happy (for a moment). Btw, the car was sold to me without floor mats, and this is Ford dealership! In just three weeks the engline light came on. Took it in and was quoted $371 for sensor repair. After many interactions back and forth met with the GM Andre and they finally fixed that for me. After a few weeks, I started noticing that car is shuddering when switching low gears. I did some research and found out it was probably the faulty transmission and that Ford has extended the warranty for 10 years (240k). My car has only 69k. I dind't feel sense of urgency, and delayed bringing it in to be checked. I finally did a few days ago. I've never experiened such a poor treatment of customer by a service department. Very rude, arrogant and unprofessional. Was told if it was the clutch, I'm out of the extended warranty (apparently it was for 7 years (160k), and expired in July, despite having only 69k on the car). Was told clutch was worn out and was quoted close to $2,000 for repair! I had purchased the car back in February, and this was now October. I first noticed the issue within the first few months of purchase. How did the clutch worn out within months? It tells me they didn't check that before putting it up for sale (despite tthe fact that this was a known issue), or they did, but decided not to fix it. Bought this car during the pandemic with my savings, hoping for a carefree few years out of this car. Lost my job during the pandemic, and I'm left now with a car that is a hazard for me to drive and to other cars around me with this clutch problem that can fail at anytime.. No consideration by the dealership to work with me to resolve this problem at all. I'll be taking this up with the Ford Product Liability department. What seemed like a worry free purchase and decent customer service by the Sales dept, turned into lots of headaches and stress for me. Great companies provide superb before and after sale service, and that's what makes you go back and refer others. Unfortunatelly, this is not one of those companies. If I could split ratings, it would be 2 stars for the sales dept, and 0 for the service dept.

Just bought a used Ford Fusion that Kennedy Ford preformed the safety inspection on prior to my purchase only to realize the brakes were completely shot (pads and rotors all the way around) tie rod needed replacing, winter tires tread was not enough to pass a safety and the battery was totally garbage. So here I am with a car I just bought and I already need to spend thousands on repairs. There's no way in hell this car should have ever passed a safety and I will be filing a formal complaint against this dealership.

Had several positive experiences up till now with Kennedy Ford. Went in with a brake problem. Solution was new brake pads and rotors. Odd because I was there 3 weeks prior and brakes did not need replacement. $600 later the problem was not solved. Went home and googled "2012 Ford Edge brake problems". Many hits came up about brake booster with the same symptoms as I described to the dealer. Went back the next day and they installed a new brake booster (under warranty). Problem was solved. I discussed with service manager why they didn't look at the booster first. Pads/rotors are very expensive to be changing out before their time. He offered a future 10% credit but I felt their mistake cost me more than that amount. I tend to use dealers as I believe their techs are trained better but this didn't happen in my case. Disappointing and expensive experience. P.S. Oakville Ford contacted me after this posting. The situation has been resolved to my satisfaction.

The initial leasing with Kennedy Ford in 2018 was a great experience. This positive experience was severely tainted when it came to buying out the vehicle lease in 2021. I had moved over 200 km North and as per Ford Canada Credit policy I was not required to return to Kennedy Ford to complete the buyout. In order to complete the buyout at my local Ford dealer Kennedy Ford required that I pay a $995 Lease "Third Party Buyout" fee. I contacted the Assistant Sales Manager at Kennedy Ford and was informed that the $995 Third Party Buyout fee was a fee they charge anytime a customer does not return to Kennedy Ford to complete the buy out and they do not waive this fee. As a result I was forced to drive over 2 hours (4 hours return trip) to Kennedy Ford to buy out my F-150. My local dealer stated that they have never had any other Ford dealer charge a fee to transfer a lease buyout. As a result I will never again conduct business with Kennedy Ford and do not recommend them if you are considering a Ford vehicle acquisition.

The front desk was great, but the manager and service staff have no idea what they are doing. They returned my truck without adding exhaust fluid (def fluid). I spoke to the manager and he tried to prove that they filled it. The computer showed the same amount as what was in there when I first left my truck. This has happened 3 times and only with this location. The last time I asked for extra fluid they charged me for it (it is supposed to be included in the maintenance package i already paid for). They changed the drain bolt without calling to ask and ended up charging me for it. The truck was dripping oil from the filter on my interlock driveway and i had to tighten the filter by hand (half a turn). I asked them to balance my tires, because after they rotated them there was a vibration while driving and i paid for it. They supposedly fixed it, but my truck still vibrates. I would never recommend/go back to this location.

My recent service was disappointing. Was scheduled for service at 9am for what I was told a 1 hour warranty repair. My car didn’t get pulled in until 10:20am and by the time all was done, it was 11:30. Not very impressed because I arranged my day around the repair and was late for my appointment at 12 noon. I must say that the service advisor Robyn was very helpful and professional. It wasn’t her fault but just very frustrated that I had to wait so long.

To our surprise, Kennedy Ford had the year, mileage, features and most importantly the price we wanted, and it was in our city! We felt confident purchasing a vehicle from a Ford dealership, knowing it would get the intimate care it required. I had my cmax re-checked. The mechanic was fast enough to identify the problem with the routers. Kennedy ford was kind enough had the routers replaced. Thanks once again Kennedy ford for understanding the stress level I had. There you go they keep my car more than I drive. For about a couple of months an annoying noise was coming our of wheels. Took to them they could not identify the problem. Guessed the bearing but sure on tires change. Spent around $1400 on new tires came home the noise is still there. On next visit about a week ago replaced the bearing and noise was gone. They also did the breaks job (spent $1300) during this visit and since that day another noise is coming out of one of the wheel. Such a nuisance I have no time for this. Service is not picking up any of my phones since morning left them 2 messages already. I wish I could remove the only star given by me. I am taking my previous comments back as the situation with regards t0 the delivery of the parts for brand new vehicles is explained to me. Our CMAX-Energi had a small part which was procured in a more than 3 weeks time period.......please expedite the procurement of parts FORD Canada. Can I expect fast service on a $40K vehicle? instead of weeks.....:) I never had any complaints with sales. Dave has always been helpful and knowledgeable. Just started to deal with service, this time I saw customer association and a welcoming service staff. Keep up the good work Devon. I recommend Kennedy ford for any vehicle purchase.

My intial interaction with the salesman (Michael) was exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very responsive. I was in the process of moving from the US to Canada, so responsiveness was key to my purchasing decision. I was able to get a an xplan lease for a 2018 explorer with no issue. When I picked up the vehicle, the salesman walked me through all the features and he let me know that the tires were covered as well. That any puncture or damage would be taken care of free of charge with the lease. A couple months later I had a tire failure and I called him to set up the repair or replacement. We were communicating during text message. He texted me later on in the day to tell me that the tires weren’t covered under the xplan lease agreement. I called him to ask him why it wasn’t covered and he told me because it was an xplan agreement. I told him that I only reached out to him for the repair because he had told me it was covered during the walk through when I picked up the vehicle. He said that he didn’t say that it was covered and I just have been mistaken. I told him that there is no way I would have known that this benefit existed if he wouldn’t have told me about it. He continued to deny recollection and said he couldn’t help me. Ultimately I ended up speaking to the manager and he took care of the tire at no charge, but the experience with the salesman didn’t sit well with me. If he would have acknowledged that he misspoke or he shouldn’t have told me what he told me during the walk through because it was an xplan lease, I would have been more understanding..: but instead he went from being customer focused to defensive and accusatory which really bothered me.

UPDATE: Spoke to one of the Dealer Principals regarding my issue. He was prompt in getting back to me and was professional. After reviewing my concerns regarding the bumper, he agreed to fix the dent. The Collision Center Manager was very friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with. The staff in the Collision Center were also great. My issue has now been taken care of. I just wish it hadn't gotten to the point where I had to write a review in order to have my concerns taken seriously. Thank you. (Bought an escape from Kennedy Ford. Upon inspecting the vehicle I missed a HUGE dent on the bumper. My fault. However four days after the purchase I saw the dent. I sent an email to the manager and the sales rep with photos I happened to have taken of the vehicle on the lot the day of the purchase. The pictures clearly showed the dent. The dent should have been disclosed to us. There is no way their service team missed this. If they did, then their inspection team is not experienced. The manager replied saying "vehicles are sold as equipped and if there was a dent that you wanted fixed it would have to be disclosed at the time of sale." They should have disclosed it to us. The sales rep said "the mark on the front of the Escape is simply a part of pre-owned vehicles." I replied informing him it was not a mark but a huge dent and that he should take a look at the photos. He did not reply to that email nor did he reply to a follow up email I sent. Ignoring customers' concerns and not taking responsibility for something they should have disclosed prior to the purchase is really poor customer service. Will never go there again.)

From the beginning I was very adamant about box liners linex. The dealership did do a spray in box liner but not linex, which is what I wanted. Everyother vehicle I looked at came with it for free in the deal linex. Only thing they would give me for free, but miss represented that it would be linex I see spray in box liner I assume they did what I asked but no they went with a cheaper version. Also there were many hiccups along the way and I felt as soon as I have the 500 deposit they lost interest in me and even missed there own deadline they set not me, needed to be done by jan2nd, yet my truck arrive on the 3rd to my house where they left the vehicle near the empty line. So my first drive was to a gas station. If I could have returned the truck I would have because I deserve better customer service for 53000 dollars

I was not impressed since the car had been into Kennedy Ford two weeks before for a recall. While there the technicians found a broken spring and the front brakes needed replacement. I asked them to go ahead with the repairs. Shortly after I got home the brakes were noisy with a grinding noise. I took the car in again and they informed me that the rear brakes were disintegrating and a caliper was seized. This is interesting because just two weeks before they reported them as fine. When questioned about this they explained that they only measure wear on the rotor and pads. So in other words no real inspection of the braking system for caliper operation or actual visual condition of the pads. Then my front door handle mysteriously got broken and they wanted to charge me for it. After some disagreements as to the cause of this broken handle; they fixed at no cost. I have bought two cars at Kennedy Ford and have been very happy with their service department and customer service. They are very friendly and I sincerely hope that this is an isolated situation.

Took my truck in for a oil service yesterday at Kennedy. And on my way back home from work at night while driving on the highway a loud noise and scrapping sound started from underneath me. pretty scared, I pull off the highway and Stop into a gas station and look under the truck and the skid plate was only holding on by the 2 back bolts scrapping along the asphalt. Thankfully I had tools with me to detach it and make my way home. The next day I take it in to get it resolved and I am missing work to sort this out and tell Kennedy's service the issue. They said they would replace the skid plate no problem. I had asked for a refund for the oil service. I didn't think it unreasonable since they screwed up and I had to take time off work. A man named Dan came and said they wouldn't refund the oil service there's nothing he can do. I didn't have time and didn't want to have a angry argument. So went on my way to work. I am very disappointed in their lack of responsibility for their work. I have always taken my truck there for service since I purchased my truck from them but after the skid plate is put back I'll no longer get it serviced there.

We are from Mississauga and were looking to purchase a Ford truck. We went to a few locations in the Mississauga area, but didn't get the warm inviting feeling from the staff. Two of the locations we went to weren't the best, we felt like we were *Just a number!*, however the worst one was Erinwood Ford. The staff was very pushy and rude; the manager wasn’t much better. When we mentioned that we wanted to trade in our vehicle, the rudeness continued. There wasn’t anything nice they said about our trade in. Acted like we were trading in a piece of crap (not the case at all). We walked away in disbelief. After speaking to many of our friends and family and co-workers I was redirected to Kennedy Ford. We were very skeptical about going into another Ford dealership, but we valued their opinions and trusted that they wouldn’t send us to another place to be fed to the lions once again. From the moment we walked into the dealership we were greatly surprised. Walking into Kennedy Ford was definitely an eye opening experience. When you are making such an important decision/purchase, you should feel like your opinion is valued, you should not feel bullied. From the moment we approached the front door we were greeted by a friendly face, a smile and a welcoming “Hello”. We walked into the dealership and the front receptionist was so polite and courteous. We felt like a million bucks, like we were important maybe even special; but hey we are important and special people – everyone is important and special. Absolutely horrible service, would rate this zero stars if I could. We brought our car in for a major service and were told there were no issues or concerns. 12,000km and 8 months later we take the car to another dealer closer to where we recently moved for some minor maintenance are informed the rear breaks are completely shot, the spark plugs (still original) are WELL above the recommended replacement threshold and causing misfires in the engine, the transmission fluid appears to not have been replaced in quite some time and so on. All of this conveniently happening within the 8,000km remaining on our warranty and without so much as a warning from the service department that we should monitor these issues. The issues were so numerous, the other dealer did not believe this could have been missed, and recommended we go back to see if any service was actually performed. After several days of back and forth, they took the stance that they had done what they needed to and we were on the hook for these issues. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't, but in any case, it has become abundantly clear that there are other dealers in the area who show far more attention to detail and concern for vehicle and customer safety. I know where I will be taking my business moving forward.

On Sunday, July 3rd, I was on my way to run an errand when the tire pressure warning light came on. I looked at the right rear tire and it really didn't seem any different from the other 3. So I carried on with my errand, went into the store and 15 mins. later the tire was flat!! I call Ford Road Assistance and they were able to dispatch a service truck. They arrived within 15-20 minutes of my call and were able to put my spare tire on. The next day, late afternoon, I left the flat tire with Service. They were able to determine that I had picked up a nail plus the tire had a small puncture. On Tuesday morning Mary Ann Kennedy, Service Advisor, called their tire supplier and my new tire arrived early afternoon. Mary Ann called me early morning to let me know that a new tire was ordered & it would be there that same day. She called again as soon as the tire came in and told me to drop by, at my convenience, to have the tire installed. This is only the second time I have dealt with the Service Department as my Explorer is new. The first time was for my first service in June. I find the Service Advisors are a pleasure to deal with and are very knowledgeable. If you have a Ford and live in Oakville, I would highly recommend you check out Kennedy Ford!

On Saturday, August 7 I was travelling from home to Toronto to see a Blue Jays game when I suddenly had a flat tire. I exited off the QEW and turned into the Kennedy Ford dealership in the pouring rain. It was just after 3 o’clock and although the dealership was closing at 4, Lori-Ann and Kenneth took exemplary care of me by attempting to locate a tire place in the area to replace my tire, calling CAA and taking off the tire and replacing it with the spare.
