Worse experience ever from a car dealership. Bought a approved used Volvo, and they promised to fix the scratch on the seat which they didn’t do at the delivery and one remote from the rear screen is missing After few months still did hear back from them
Missing a few old faces now but still get service and parts without any issues. Parking is always a task, Porsche, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo sqeezed together.
Excellent service and staff. Went in to have an airbag cable plugged back in and to have a code reset and wasn't even charged. Will definitely be going back when I'm looking for a new Volvo.

I didnt actually buy a car here but did take a number of test drives in Volvo and interacted with the sales person Melvin over the course of a couple weeks. He was fantastic to deal with and extremely helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and not pushy. Really great shopping experience there.
I had been shopping for a used car for a few months, and had done a lot of research. I took in a Volvo from a different (used) car dealership, to have a third party inspection done. The inspection was very thorough and included a video and a copy of the 170-item report. The receptionist asked if I was interested in looking at any of their (the dealer's) used Volvos. I said "sure, why not". Over the course of a few weeks I test drove three different cars. I was really sold on the excellent extended warranty that only the Volvo dealer can offer, as well as their finance rates which are much lower than non-Volvo dealers have access. From the beginning I was helped by Alison, who listened carefully to my criteria and did her best to find a car that would match. She was super patient and helpful, and did not apply any pressure. In the end I found a car that I love, and am confident that if anything goes wrong down the road, my extended warranty will mean I won't be out of pocket. Congrats Alison and the entire team at Volvo for providing excellent customer service.

The owner of this dealership filed an insurance claim against a customer and friend of mine who needed a loaner vehicle as this dealer waited all day until end of day on a friday to say oopps we didn’t fix your brand new xc90 which broke down and was according to them, not safe to drive. They damaged the vehicle either before or after the vehicle was returned. They filed an insurance claim despite being told no damage was inflicted during the loaner period. Do not buy from this dealership.

Seem to treat everybody the same, very well. Got a major service done and they gave me some hefty discounts to help, plus seemed to replace a few odds&ends at no charge, though it was never mentioned.
We were in vacation in Halifax 3000km from home, the car broke down on us, they took the car on short notice and told us that we could continue our trip, made it home and fixed the problem at the local Volvo dealer. Pleased with how fast they handled our problem. Thank you
I recently bought a used car here. If you go buy a car here, you should find Ryan and Melvin first. They will take care your entire car purchase experience even after months from the purchase. Especially the sales manager Ryan will do his best for you. In my opinion, the only problem here is that the RR and Jaguar sucks for the price... you know... Volvo and porsche are solid.
They are not keeping the promises. Made the service appointment with Valet app couple of times last month but they never contact me nor picking up the car. Just days of wasting waiting for them. They don't respond to my phone call as well.
This dealership is not recommended! POOR POOR END OF LEASE SERVICE....love the Volvo produce but will NEVER deal with them again!
I should have kept my Nissan Versa Note. Awful service. Got a new to me car (from Volvo NB- 5 stars for them, really) there was an issue with the moon roof whistling while on the highway, told to bring it in and that it should be covered under warranty, and if not Volvo NB would cover it because it shouldn't be happening. It was not covered even though it was a mechanical issue, so Volvo NB was billed 150 bucks. Then the moon roof still whistled. So I brought it back Volvo Halifax discovered that there was actually a bigger issue with the moon roof not being able to stay on it's tracks (go figure), and fixed it for free. Last time my car was being looked at for the moon roof, when I was driving home I noticed new chips in my windshield. This being a new car, I had taken good photos of everything recently for insurance, and notice everything, so I would notice a cluster of chips in my windshield directly at eye level. When I called to talk about my experience with someone I was mansplained to for 10 minutes and also informed that they were sorry I was taking tones in a negative way, but they were just doing their jobs. Such topics of mansplaining were the sounds stones make when hitting your windshield, sometimes small chips can get bigger, and sometimes you don't notice things when something is new. In the month that I've had my car, I had called them weekly to get pricing on an electric rust inhibitor, every single time (no matter the day) I was told the finance person was off that day, and promised I'd get a call back the next day. A lovely lady in the booking department (I think her name was Eileen) gave me her best estimate on price after I was on hold for over 10 minutes waiting for finance. Never got that call back, despite four weeks of going through that dance. I know two people who bought Volvos at Volvo Halifax and rave about the service, about how wonderful and accommodating the team is, and have even seen the team interact with these people on different occasions and was impressed with the level of care and service. It's even more salt in the wound now having such awful experiences. If you have a car not bought at Halifax Volvo, you're in for a bad time. Stay far away! To reply to the owner: your comment still does not acknowledge the terrible service and issues your staff did and caused. To anyone wondering how their experience would go, look no further than the owner choosing to ignore and not working towards solutions to simple errors like no one calling me back every week for a month.
I went there and receptionist told me that someone has to check my car and fix it for around 1hr or 1hr and a half so I waited there and when they finished, they charged me $170 for diagnosing the problem. So yeah, i was ripped off $170 and told me to go home as the parts have to order and i just have to come back when the parts are ready. I didn’t expect this. If I come to know that they can’t fix the problem and I can still drive my car without fixing the problem I wouldn’t go there and pay $170!!! $131+ per hour to check the problem of my car which I mentioned even before I got there. Scanning the problem wont take an hour! I’m really disappointed!

Booked my first service on my XC90 and was planning to wait for the service which they knew. I arrived for my 10 am appt,the vehicle sat for 55 mins before they took it away returning 40 mins and $423 later and then asked if I wanted it washed. Not happy with the lack of service for the cost
I would like to thank Vince from the service desk for a super professional and friendly service. It's my first Volvo ever and I bought used XC70 2007, but still they giving you all the way VIP service. Even the guy that called to remind about the appointment a day before sounds so caring and patient, same feeling when I bought parts ,etc. . I definitely will come again for a garage or to buy new car / parts. Cheers Kalman
