Our Ford Escape had engines issues while we were visiting Halifax. We contacted Steele Ford, they got the car in the next day. Diagnosed the issue. Ordered the part that day and installed the part the next day. Being in Halifax for medical treatments, Steele ford eliminated a great deal of stress i was feeling as a result of the extra issue of a car having issues. We had an appointment for 7:45am today, Friday Dec 11th, to look at and fix our car. We did not hear from anyone all day so we started calling in the afternoon to see what was being done, no one answered for about an hour. Finally got through and they said they'd call back, no one did. Started calling again at 4pm and got no answer until almost 430, that's when I was told they were "just putting it in now to look at it". APPOINTMENT WAS AT 7:45AM. I was so upset because my husband took the day off of work to have the car fixed, now we have to do it again. I asked what time they closed and he said 6pm. We went to get the car and were there at 5:40 and they would not release it to us unless we paid them $150 for giving a diagnosis, that's just a machine!!!!! The service department had left at 530 and had spent less than an hour on the car!!!!!! I am livid with how we were treated and how much we were charged for NO WORK after waiting all day. We have 3 children under 3 and now I have to wait until Monday to fix my car that has NO HEAT in winter! I will NEVER take my business there again and I have just told others to do same and they just cancelled their appointment. UNREAL.

If there were any problems, the video would show the discovery, and allow me to remotely made the decision, which was helpful during this lockdown. Advisor was nice, but seemed not empathetic when I was surprised with the increase work and money I ended up having to put into my car. I asked her to explain what happened, but it seems rushed. Another service advisor when I came by to pick it up, took time to explain even my mundane question, which made me felt heard. I like your videos, but the video doesn't really show where the changes were made, so its partly ineffective. Obviously having cars, comes with a-lot of expensive, but when one has to pay 700-800 on a whim, its isn't actually the best feeling. We know we have to pay for it, but if the advisors are kind, show empathy, and explain the process as opposed to being rushed, it makes for a better experience Overall good, but not great Love Uber btw Cheers

My Mustang GT Premium Convertible is my pride and joy. I don't let too many places work on it; but I have always brought it to Steele Ford to get any service and repair work done to it. I have always been satisfied with the quality of their service. My service adviser, Logan, is awesome. She (not a typo) is friendly, courteous and professional. She confirms the works that is required with you when you drop-off your vehicle and carefully goes over the results at pick-up time. Steele Service department always sends a video of the work and inspection being done. If they discover anything that needs attention, they will show you in the video and will ask your permission to proceed before doing the work. It's are a great place to get your Ford serviced.

Had to have my truck towed in the middle of traveling. Called around to see if anyone could fix it. Ford despite their full schedule was able to take it in due to the urgency of the situation. Thomas let me know what needed to be done and how much it would cost before doing the work. Truck is now repaired and the price was exactly what he said it would be. Only issue was the parts took some time to come in but i dont think that was steeles problem. No complaints here tho

On my last visit, I wasn't happy with the service at all. My car supposed to be in the service for half a day and then I had to leave it for 3 days. On the first day, they didnt even start working on my car. I was so upset and disappointed. No one gave me any solution or any temporary car. I had to take a cab and a bus for 3 days. When I explain the situation to the advisor, she just said that she was sorry. It wasnt enough. If you wanna go to this location which I don't prefer, please ask how long your car will stay in service OR go to another location. I believe they will treated you in different way.

Recently I had my Lincoln MKX serviced at Steele Ford Lincoln and the service advisor that I dealt with, Logan Munroe, was very pleasant and courteous. She clearly explained everything that would be happening and that she would keep me advised of the progress of the service. She also provided an approximate time when my vehicle would be ready for pickup. As usual she provided me with a loaner vehicle did in fact not only call me with update but also provided a short video of how the service was going. At all times she was very pleasant and courteous. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle Ms. Munroe was busy with another customer and another of Steele Ford Lincoln service advisor, Tom Flynn, came over to advise me that my vehicle was being cleaned and would be ready shortly. Soon thereafter Ms. Munroe advised that my vehicle was ready and briefed me on what all the technicians had done. I have to say that this was one of the best service visits I have had with Steele.

The team here is great! I've had my escape for 16 months and a fluke thing happened and the engine needed to be replaced. They were empathetic, took care of everything under warranty, set up a rental car for me to drive around in the interim and they allowed me to drop the rental back off at their location when my car was ready for pick up! When my car was in the shop I realized that I needed some items from my vehicle, such as work keys, prescription sunglasses etc. They were quick to grab the items for me and put them aside. Brought my car in to get multiple little things fixed and my check engine light looked at and was quoted $1300 over the phone but they needed to order parts. The quote did not get attached to my invoice and when I called in they emailed me what I needed done and the total cost. When I asked for an official copy of an estimate with a breakdown of parts and labour and tax they stopped replying to my emails and would not return my voicemails. It has now been weeks and my advisor still has not got back to me. Had to take my car elsewhere to get the work done because I couldn't get ahold of them. Waste of time and money.

Routine maintenance (oil change, recall) were fine. Counter staff were great as always. Also had them check a slow leak in one of my tires. They said they couldn't find anything and yet I got up Tuesday to go to work and had a flat. Not overly impressed with that but the winter boots will be going on soon anyway.

Jessica Corey was fantastic. I had stopped in to check on the Ford Bronco as a purchase option to replace my aging vehicle. She arranged a test drive in very short notice. The Bronco we test drove was not the exact model I had my heart set on. Plus the interest rates were a little high. I opted to wait for the model I preferred to come in and the interests rates to drop a bit. Jessica stayed in touch with regular updates on vehicles as they arrived as well as the interest rate changes. To be honest I had been to a couple of other dealerships and none of those did any follow up whatsoever to see if I was still interested in a purchase or to give me any feedback on the Bronco arrival status. Went in 2 years ago for oil change, winter tires put on. Didn't change the oil, failed to change the winter tires. Claimed no Lock Bolt to unlock my car. Found lock bolt key sitting on the drivers seat when I picked up the car. It had been moved from where I told them it was (the cup holder). So a technician put down the dust protector on the seat, picked up the lock bolt, put it the seat, and then immediately forgot it was there. I've never been back for service yet receive constant reminder calls "Your car is due for it's regular maintenance." I keep calling them and telling them I don't get maintenance done. Ask them to remove my phone number from their records. They lie to me and keep calling me back. I had to put a block on their phone number after 2 years of them calling me every few months. Now they email me. The Remove From Mailing list doesn't work. I'm now at the point where I'm going to report them for CanSpam Act violations because I'm just exhausted by their relentless, automated pestering of me. To their credit they did offer me a free service to get the Winter Tires and oil change done, but I declined.

Had a recall on my 2019 Ranger for seat belts. Took 2 1/2 weeks to get vehicle in. Advised I was not comfortable doing the Customer Inspection Procedure but still wanted appointment make so mentioned if I was just coming back to get wheels retorque someone would come out while i waited in vehicle so said they could do that. Showed up for my 2:30 Appt on 14 December. Waited 45 minutes before vehicle went into garage. Asked about why long wait since i had appointment advise they don't like to keep their technicians standing around. I asked what about loyal customer (5th Ford) standing around. What about our time. Told to call service manager 453-1130 the number on the orange sticker. Called few days later relating above and told how they are short technicians and nothing about loyal customers time. She is very much focused on her customer which isn't always the case with other sale representatives. most times, sales representatives are focused on the sale, not the customer and they tend to pressure you. But not Tracey! Tracey was very attentive and took the time to understand my needs, and didn't pressure me at all. Her focus was on making sure I was happy. All in all the service was pretty good. They checked over everything and even changed me wiper blades. reception was very informative of the status of the vehicle. The only thing that made it 4 stars and not 5 was the fact i dropped it off at 9am and told them i would pick it up at 230pm. It was not ready at 230. It was almost 310pm before i left the garage. Brought in my vehicle for servicing. They did a great job with the inspection it needed and the factory recalls, and the brakes that needed replacing. However, they managed to break one of the hood latches on the car, and advised me of it me once all the work was complete. I didn’t quite understand what broke, and they quoted me around $300 to fix it. I decided to make my way over the the dealership to have a look, and lo and behold my hood was sticking up on one side quite a bit. I went inside and spoke to someone, who said it must’ve broke when the mechanic was opening the hood to work on the car. Ok, great. Then again proceeded to tell me how much it will cost to fix it. I did a double take when they told me that I was expected to cover this cost. After some back and forth, and explaining that they broke my hood latch so they should be responsible, they finally agreed to fix it and cover the costs. To which they did, and it was fixed the next day. Took more discussion and time than it should have, but they did right by it in this case. No apology was ever offered or anything. The main reason I brought it in was because it was stalling in the middle of the road. They diagnosed it and told me it probably needed a new battery. Great! I paid for the diagnosis and the other work they did, I went out, got the battery and replaced it myself. All was good for a few days. Then it started stalling again. I called in to let them know that their diagnosis did not work as the problem came back a couple of days later. They asked that I bring it back in so they can have another look at it. Before booking the appointment, I proceeded to ask if they were going to charge me for another diagnosis because their first one was wrong. After a long hold, and talking to other people in the service department I was told that they would need me to bring the car in for them to determine if they would charge me again for another diagnosis.... huh??? I asked for them to explain, and the best I got was that if it was a related problem they probably wouldn’t charge, but if it was unrelated they would. I explained to them that it’s the same problem that I had before, so it’s 100% related. They said that they can’t guarantee anything and that they may charge me for it, may not. Who knows. That’s the last time I’ll be dealing with this dealership. I don’t think they understand what good customer service is like, especially given the amount they charge for their services you’d expect it to be better than that.

Would like to share my experience one month ago. The first service of my explorer at your workshop on March 10, 2021 when my car was still under 3-year warranty and no mechanic told me about the issue of rear upper control arm bushings, everything was ok. I was told about this problem when I came to MVI for inspection on July 14, which the date has just passed warranty a couple of days. I don't think the problem happened suddenly, there should have been a process, there should have been some clues in March, so why wasn't I told about it during the warranty period and after 4 months later I need to pay a repair bill for this? I will try another mechanic to check it.

My interactions with staff were great. I was kept informed every step of the way. I was contacted any time there was progress or if there were any questions for me Brian kept me up to date throughout my vehicle's stay. He even did the peperwork for my towing. Re is a great people person. I'm not sure why my clutch isn't considered part of the power train though, because without it , it doesn't matter how well the engine and every other part of the power train is working, you're not going anywhere.

Four visits, one incorrect software installation and two wrong part orders and we go to pick up the truck last night and it won’t start saying there was an auto start/stop function fault and to try start manually....but, it won’t start. I purchased my Escape in December 2019 with the maintenance package. The process of purchasing was made so easy and understandable that I wasn't hesitant to sign any papers. I bring my truck in regularly for it's check up, but recently had an incident where something just didn't seem right with my truck. I called and explained my situation, Bailey was able to get me in within a couple of days and explained what to do if anything changed within that time. I brought my truck in for it's appointment, the techs went over it and sent me a video showing what they had checked and explained that all was good! When I picked up my keys and truck that day, Bailey said if it ever happened again to call and they will look at it again. I found it reassuring to have them say that as most times you hear of dealerships not offering any help or assistance at all.

He worked to get me a great deal on my trade in and found the exact truck I was looking for. 10/10, 5 stars. After dealing with the service department for the first time after leasing my brand new truck my rating is going from 5 starts to 2. The sales and finance department at this dealership still deserve 5 stars, But the lack of communication and management in the service department brings the rating down. Ill save you the long story but i would highly recommend avoiding this service department and take your vehicle to a different dealership. Even if you leased/bought your vehicle from Steel Ford Lincoln your allowed to take it to any Ford dealership for work.

I drove 3 hours for an appointment to look at vehicle that had sold the night before. This was after one representative saying they would make it worth my wild for my travel. HORRIFIC & PATHETIC - Never again will I deal with them. Bought a used car back in Nov and had taken a dealer warranty for three months. I was told that if anything went wrong with the car within the three stipulated months, they would take care of it for which I paid 499 CAD upfront at the time of sale. In the second month itself, the track of the driver's seat started giving me trouble. Upon reporting this issue they refused to honour their commitment and sought 1,000 CAD to repair. After heated discussion, I got my car back without the job done. They said they will check and revert and it has been more than two weeks nobody has bothered. I will strongly urge my family and friends to stay away from them in the future.

Took my F150 in for a basic oil change. Telephone staff was very friendly and efficient making the appointment. Front counter staff was also very friendly. Reserved the first appointment of the day as I planned on waiting for my truck. Vehicle was taken in shortly after 7:00 in the morning, and the work took 2.5 hours to complete. Far too long for a basic oil change and check, especially since they knew I was waiting! The $118 cost did not go towards efficiency.

I have dealt with many dealerships in my 45 years and usually I’m not a fan of salesmen and the bullies that back them up, they’re usually fake with their “used car sales” act they put on, BUT…. From the second I met Brad from Steele Ford to the wave goodbye and “call if I need anything “ handshake from not just Brad the salesmen or Ahmed the finance manager but the Sales manager himself made a point to come thank me for my business before I drove off, and not once did any of them portray the typical greasy salesperson we have all grown to hate. We felt no pressure from him at any time. It was thanks to his review of the delivery checklist that noticed the spare tire was missing. He quickly had the service centre put it on. His follow up has also been great and I would happily recommend him to friends and family. Also should mention dealing with Ahmed Al-Shaghay was super easy. He was friendly and explained everything to us very well. The only thing we noticed was on the way home the wiper fluid low light came on, and it need to be topped up. Took my Corsair into service department as the hood would catch on the second latch and alarms and warning light were going off everywhere. I had tried several times to get it closed but it would not catch the second latch. I drive the the dealership and went inside and met Cory. Very pleasant accommodating with the Covid-19 situation and the fact that I did not have an appointment. He made arrangements for me to get a ride home and he would have someone look at my issue. A few hours later I got a call that it was fixed and technician would show me to open close the hood when I got. Went back to the dealership and Cory said he would get the technician (Kevin) to show me how to open the hood and close it. I knew how to open the hood as I had opened and filled the washer fluid up but it was closing the hood when it would not latch. I asked the technician what he had found and he nothing. He showed me how to open the hood and then closed it. Again I asked to be sure he had done nothing. He said no. Strange it would not close for me now it worked perfectly. When I got home I opened and closed several times and it worked the way it was supposed to. I am not an expert on repairing the Corsair like the technician but to say repeatedly that he had done nothing to make it work seems a bit suspicious. First experience with service departments. Very hard leased with Cory and his prompt response. He was 5 star but overall experience was not that great

I arrived form my scheduled 1030 appointment, and no able to get into the drop off bay until 10;55. seemed to be only one person working, and there was a lot of cars waiting to get into the drop off bay. My first connection with the service team was thru Plexiglas, and took longer than usual to confirm the details of the work to be done. I have seen other locations, not Ford locations, where the plexiglass is upgraded, so that the communication between the client and the service team is easier. My scheduled work was for an oil change and install summer tires on the existing rims, and an electrical system interface, as my radio was not working. I was not aware that the service team had indicated a 5:00pm pick up, which was incorrect, as I indicated that I would wait for my vehicle, when I booked the appointment, and when I checked in with the service team. At 1300 hrs, there was no indication the work on my car being completed, of my car being completed, and when I inquired, the service team seemed a bit unsure when the car would be ready, perhaps another hour. At 1400 hrs, I inquired again, and the car was just finishing and would be brought out?, shortly. At 1420 the service team presented me with the invoice, and a cost to correct two issues, one that I was aware of, my radio not working, and another, a front left pinion seal was leaking a bit. It also appears that a video was shot of the work, of the leaking pinion seal, the tire installation, but not the oil change nor the work on the radio system. video was sent to email accounts that I can not access on the cell phone I had, and to my home landline, so I did not receive the information. I went outside with the service technician to get my car, but it was not to be seen, and was eventually found on the other side of the street, at the far end of the parking lot. The technician was good enough to ask someone to bring this to me, but time dragged on , and when I saw someone headed to my car, I caught up with him and obtained the car and continued on my day. For a customer waiting for the vehicle, it did not seem that this was the best place to park the car. So, 3.5 hours of time for tires, oil change, and an electrical receive for my radio. complete loss of trust in this dealership. In the past 4 months I have TRIED to get a vehicle inspection in August with no appointment being available to me. So my son had inspection completed at another Garage. Numerous phone call in November and December trying to get my tyres changed and no response. So I called Service Manager last week and got an appointment for December 16th. Due to the weather my granddaughter drove my car with summer tyres to the dealership. We got there early and II apologies were given for for being early to the female at the service desk.. Was told Tom was at lunch So we waited and waited the young lady was busy most of the time fixing her hair. It became apparent Tom was avoiding me.. After waiting for almost an hour she finally said my car was going in i repeated several times that I did not want to put my summer tires in storeage and would take them home and simply wanted the winter tires install with no videos or scrutiny of my car. Tom eventually came out of hiding apparently he had been the one making a video as it sounded like his voice. I always treated Tom with respect gave the appropriate gifts at Christmas etc as a fellow Scotish Immigrant gave him gifts from home etc. I always praised him in the reviews eyc. I am considering buying my Grandaughter a car for graduating from St Marys but it will not be from Steele Ford AFTER THIS EMBARRASING INSULTING EXPERIENCE.. PLEASE STOP SENDING ME E-MAILS OR PHONE CALLS ABOUT ME REPLACING MY 2005 FREESTAR ETC

The service folks took it in, gave me a big heads up that it might take a while (much appreciated) 3 ish hours later, my doors were fixed, rotors machined smooth and straight, and I was on my merry way. Corey checked with the teck. and was told that my car was just taken in for service and would be another 45min. wait. I think you would agree that 2 hours and 15 min.is not a normal amount of time to wait for service I was in for. Want to share my recent experience with Cory & Sandy at Steele Ford Lincoln this past week…. Set up an appointment call on my Ford App (Love) and Sandy called me back before I even exited from the App, she was the BEST - very organized and detailed…. Arrived for my appointment and was greeted in the Bay Area - directed inside to Cory - who was very well versed and professional and had me on my way - with my service completed in a very timely manner - he was very friendly and kept me posted via text and call - I was super impressed. I had errands to run and after a short walk my truck was ready and the whole experience took less then an hour. AWESOME JOB. Got a chance to say hello to my favourite salesperson in the world “Annette Armstrong” and had a catch up with the rest of my Ford Family - Jonathan Bonang - who’s simply the best and a pleasure to see each and every time I enter the dealership. I can appreciate these guys are busy - but they always take the time to make you feel right at home - comfortable and welcomed. Thank you Jonathan and your team - I love my F150 and can’t wait for my 2021 to arrive.

Our recent service visit at Steele Ford Lincoln went very well as it always does. The service advisor was very pleasant and professional and fully explained everything that was required to be done. A Lincoln loaner was supplied for us to use, and the service advisor went to the parking lot and brought it to us. Our vehicle was cleaned inside and out before being returned to us. A report card was given to us with an explanation of what was done. Excellent service.
