I am very disappointed with my service there!! I had to pay 60 dollars for take my window out and then they said that needs to change the window regulator and will cost $679. After that I went to another store and the window regulator wasn’t broke, they fixed the window in 30 minutes.

Watch out for these guys! Deceptive sales tactics, and inconsitent quotes. A salesman gave me a price and a monthly payment number.... but then the next email from the same dealer was $100 higher per month, and all the finance person said is the salesman misquoted me. Well, I bought at a different dealer and I suggest you do too.

On October 30, 2019, I walked into Oregans Kia with my girlfriend to sign up on a Black 2020 Kia Forte LX parked inside the showroom. Our salesperson was Ryan Higgins and he took us on a test drive in a blue LX model, showed us around and told us that the car was equipped with a bunch of features including a heated steering wheel which the car didn’t have. After a bunch of paperwork with him, he took us into the Financial managers office, Katrina Coyle. She did my credit check and since my credit was new, she suggested I bring in a cosigner. On October 31, 2019, I walk into Oregans Kia with a friend, who cosigned the vehicle for me. The quoted price to me previously was $438/month for 60 months, BUT, Katrina Coyle said that I couldn’t finance the car until and unless I get the walkaway package and get my car undercoated; both things that I didn’t want. I insisted her that I didn’t want them, but she said there’s no way I could get the car until I opt in for those two things. Due to all the time I spent at the dealer, and since I liked the car, I just signed it. It’s been almost four months now, and I realized that I am not even eligible for the walkway package since I’m self-employed. I called the dealership in and spoke with Erica, the sales manager, and she informed me that Katrina is not allowed to force any sales on me; and that she will get back to me the next day. This dealership is looking to make money off of you, and with my bad experience, take my words and do not go to this dealership. I will make sure I take all the suitable actions to ensure this doesn’t happen to someone else and that they compensate me more than fairly.

I made an Appointment at this Dealership this morning to go and view a used 2020 Stinger. When I arrived at the dealership at my appointment time of 3:30pm, I spoke with the Manager Sean who asked me to wait till someway was available. A few minutes later I was introduced to a sales person who told me he was going to get the car. When the car came out front it was really dirty. I was then told to wait again as they had to go and put fuel in the car. It was about 4pm by the time I could take out the car. Additionally no one seemed to really know much about this car. I took the car for about an hour and just took it back and handed them the keys. This was a very unprofessional experience and i will never be back!

This dealership is selling used vehicles as certified when they do NOT pass certification. Totaling committing fraud. The vehicle i bought came with broken wind shield wipers, they touched-up the car with white-out which came off within days of purchase, the tires were completely worn. After 10,000km the motor starting knocking, after 15,000km blue smoke was coming out of the exhaust. I talked to the best mechanics around, they all said the vehicle should have never been certified. I am a film maker currently making a short documentary about this company and their fraudulent practices, so everyone who has been a victim of fraud from any Oregans dealership, please contact me on facebook. I got a car from them in June 2021 and then two months later the arm of back wheels got broken, the car was under warranty as I just drove 4000 Km, so they tow my car to their service center checked the issue and replace the whole arm with the new one. Sales: friendly and phony, like every other dealer I've known. Maintenance and Parts is pricey but their customer service is one of the best I know in town. Their inefficiency is scary though. I've had to go there 4 times in the last 2 months. A few times did I suspect they were not fully servicing the car or doing a proper inspection. Last issue was with the shocks in the trunk. They broke. On Monday I called to make an appointment and explained the problem. Early Tuesday morning I dropped off my car. When I got there, they had to check if shocks were in stock. They weren't. Now I'll have to go back there for the 5th time in 2 months. All of this would have been sorted out had they checked and ordered parts over the phone. Thanks, Kia.

Service department is exceptional, and I wish I could give them a separate rating. Kayla in the finance department was wonderful as well. *The one person responsible for the poor review is Jim Grace in the financial department.* He misrepresented the terms of a contract (my fault for not reading thoroughly and trusting him not to lie) as well as telling me I could bring my lease back a few days late and it would be fine. At least I didn't believe him that time. On top of that, he was incredibly difficult to contact when I was trying to return the car. If you have the misfortune of having to deal with their financial department, ask for Kayla.

So my husband and I went looking for a car. We ended up settling on purchasing a Kia Soul. However, since we had gone into this dealership on three separate occasions, there were two sales people that saw us as their "sale". On the last day we went there we wanted to test drive the Soul one more time then buy. We go in on a Saturday and both sales people are there. Salesperson 1 takes us outside (when it was freezing) and got us to wait by the Soul we were going to test drive. I left thinking he had the keys but he didn't. He brought us outside to "hide" us from Salesperson 2. We go on a test drive with Salesperson 1. When we come back Salesperson 2 was waiting for plus outside. Then proceeds Salesperson 1 and Salesperson 2 pissing contest where they both try to get the last line in to "prove" that we were his sale. It was so uncomfortable that we never went back. Since we were ready to buy that day we went to Kia in Dartmouth. We spent less than 10 minutes with a Salesperson here and then told her we were ready to buy. I felt bad since both Salespersons helped us at Kempt Kia. One or both of them deserved to get (or split) commission. But the predatory nature of our last interaction there convinced us to go else where.

Each time I visit the Kia dealership on Kempt road, I have an incredibly positive experience. My most recent visit was a routine servicing and tire swap. I also chose to get my car vacuumed out. The woman at the counter personally went to check and see how well my car was cleaned, and told me that if I wasn't satisfied even a little, come back in and let her know. I could tell she meant it as well! I feel like I am treated like more than just a customer when I come in. Keep it up guys!

I purchased a 2015 Soul SX Luxury in April 2015. The sales guy and Jim Grace were great. My concerns are as follows: 1. The sales people have to check with the sales manager on everything which results in the customer sitting there doing nothing for lengthy periods of time. When dealing with another dealer, the actual sales person had more flexibility to work with the customer. This was about a hour going back and forth. My first car, another kia, from them took 3 hours as the sales manager was busy. 2. The sales person told me that GPS updates are automatic and do not cost anything. Not true - Kia charges $300 for updates. I send an email to Halifax Kia on this and never received anything back (this was a short time after I purchased the car). I also contacted Kia Canada and was given an answer of "too bad, contact the dealer". Given I can purchase a standalone GPS with FREE lifetime map updates up to 4 times a year, this will not be something I get in a car in the future. Besides that, the service department is great to work with, their pricing is fair (for a dealer) and I find you're always greeted when you walk in. The shuttles are a little frustrating as the onus is on the customer to call potentially 4 different shuttles to arrange a drive back to the dealer. I've sent a couple people to this dealer and would again in the future.

So first I want to say my experience with Kia started in 2008. I had owned her sister company vehicles but decided to try Kia. I am not disappointed that I did. I came to O'Regans in May 2015 trades a Spectra 5 for a Forte. In 2016 we missed our hatchback so much that we bought a Soul that one was traded on this year for a 2017 and just on Saturday I traded my 2015 Forte in for a 2018 Sportage. My driveway looks like Kia commercial we also have a 2015 Sorento which my son just bought. To Peter and Jennifer up to Kim thank you for all your help and efforts in making car buying a pleasure. Years ago i took wife's Kia Forte in because the snow tires had horrible saw tooth wear going on after only one winter. 8/32 on one tread and 4/32 on the next with a repeating pattern. they sounded horrible to drive on. we took it to the dealership and had them inspect the tires to see if they were defective. While waiting in the service department i was confident i could overhear a service advisor on the phone having a discussion with a customer who had the same issue with the same brand of tires. Moments later the service advisor inspected the tires and agreed they had worn terribly. He stated that they would pay for the replacement cost of only one of the tires as they were obviously defective with such uneven wear. The first excuse was that maybe the suspension hadn't "settled" yet when we bought the car which caused it to wear the tires. I stated i had never bought a car and had to worry about the suspension "settling" and possibly wearing my tires poorly. I did not agree to a replacement of only one tire and insisted that since all tires were worn consistently in the same manner that all 4 be replaced at their cost. he refused and stated that it was probably due to us not having a balance and alignment done when the tires were installed that winter. I showed him the receipt from Dartmouth Kia with the installation, balance and alignment on it. His next response was "well just because it is on the receipt, doesn't mean they actually did it". I was shocked that a Kia representative was straight up accusing another Kia dealership of not doing the work i had been charged for. We left upset and have vowed never to buy another Kia again. I have had so many service issues with Kias in both Ontario and Nova Scotia from multiple dealerships as well as Kia Canada and this was the final straw.

I have mixed feelings about this dealership. I must say the customer service was much better when Hillcrest owned the dealership but one has to move on. The folks that work the counter and the phones are fantastic, the level of service offered however diminished with the use of the shuttle service. When I once was able to pretty much instantly get a ride to work when dropping off my vehicle, I now have to wait sometimes close to 15 minutes before an available shuttle drops by, not a big deal but was enough of a change to get my attention. Also I e-mailed their customer service folks requesting a quote on tires, received a reply that someone would get back to me soon, that was at the beginning of July 2016...one month later I am still waiting for that quote...

And the service department also is amazing; they get your car in and out in a decent timely manner. The dealership charges $500 fee but what I really did not like is the required $400 upgrade package that includes an ugly bug deflector which I do not want or appreciate being told that hey maybe we can talk to the manger about it. I'm no longer considering a KIA for my next purchase. I'm not playing these games.

I bought a 2015 Kia soul, had an OK experience with the team while it was under warranty. Fast Forward to now and I'm outside the Manufacturer's warranty. My engine dies, told it's a connecting rod bearing failure. The head guy Tim tells me that this is a KNOWN ISSUE with these cars but DESPITE that I'm SOL as it's out of warranty (there should be a recall on this!!!) and my only hope is that my extended warranty will cover it (jury is still out on that one). Meanwhile, I'm struggling to get back and forth to work and Dr appointments, as they don't give you any help at all until a claim is approved. They tell me one minute that it'll easily be approved and should have an answer quickly and then the next am told that this will take time and there's lots of info to review. DON'T BUY KIA AND DON'T SHOP HERE!!!!!

Peter Nasrallah was a pleasure to deal with. Straightforward and low pressure but responsive to our needs and questions. The van we bought had been prepped really well and was like new. We purchased at the holiday season and there was a bottle neck getting to the Financial Services when we were closing the deal. We live 2 hours away and a storm was coming. Peter problem solved and recruited the manger to help out so we could beat the snow. All in all a good price for quality vehicle and a pleasant experience.

The service department is very good. Tim, Winnie and Peter are always very professional and very courteous. We have been using the service department for 9 years now and I am quite impressed with their honesty and thoroughness. Two weeks ago my exhaust system had worn away making a loud noise. Kia Halifax took me in the next day to see what the problem was. After the inspection they explained what was wrong and recommended I go to a muffler shop as it would be financial beneficial to have the work done there. They even gave me a referral if I did not have a shop I already use. They did not even charge me for the inspection. This is just one of the times that they have shown us that they care about their clients. The work that the mechanics perform is always top-notch and they always have my vehicles ready before my recommended completion time. Keep up the good work Kia!

Had a terribly disappointing experience a couple weeks ago. Booked a test drive online on Wednesday morning. Called Thursday to confirm some details on the car for an insurance quote, called Friday afternoon before leaving work to ensure my appointment for the following day was still a-ok.... So, Saturday morning I borrow a vehicle, gas up and make the 1 hour drive to go to ORegans. I was met at the door when I arrived, and told "Oh, we were going to call you actually. They brought that car in this morning for safety and detailing." ...I was taken aback, the car had been on their website with photos for over two weeks. Sales person then proceeded to waste two hours of my time trying to sell me many other cars I had no interest in. They should have called me when they opened at 9am to tell me the vehicle was not available that day as scheduled, so I would not have wasted my time, they had an hour between opening and my appointment time. After two hours of wasted time I asked to see the financial adviser to run the numbers on the car I was interested in in the first place, to see what payments would be etc. She was wonderful to deal with in person, but her system was not coming back with an answer very fast. She noted she'd call me as soon as it refreshed and I left to return the vehicle I had borrowed for the wasted appointment. the financial adviser did not call me back that day, but only on mid-day Monday. At that stage I was not going to buy from them based on the poor service. I picked up my new car from Bruce Hyundai two days later and could not have been happier with the choice.

Both Tom and Mark were extremely helpful, friendly, and kind when my spouse and I were in looking at getting a new car. Tom helped us pick out a trim level that met our needs, and was very thorough throughout the process, from the test drive to driving out the door. Mark helped us find the best deal given our financing situation, and gave us honest advice regarding the various extra coverages. At no point during the process did we feel pressured or uncomfortable; both men were excellent communicators, and listened to our concerns and questions. I had to have my engine replaced just after my warranty expired. I paid close to $5k when all was said and done for a used engine that they said was great and had less mileage than my old one. 3 months later it started to leak and when they checked it they said that the engine was cracked and had been welded before they put it in. They said it was a 30 day warranty and I was out of luck. They are thieves and scam artists. Stay away from O’Regans Kia!!!!
