While going through google review , i thought their service was good but unfortunately i had a bad experience from them. I like a used car and hold It by paying 250 CAD. I heard that Usually their paper work was fast but it took me almost 10 days and says they cant process my application. Then i asked to refund my 250 cad and they said the amount will be refunded and will take another 10 business days.I spent more than 10 days and checking my account i came to know the refund was not done. So i started asking again via SMS and email but no one has responded from clutch. After several attempts to get my refund, I decided to go with consumer complaint (legal) and the Information has forwarded to clutch. Later of the day i got refund message and almost I spent 1 month to get my refund.!!!!!! So i never use clutch services again and never recommend to anyone who looking for a used car/deal. “This review is to help others just think before use clutch services“.

UPDATE: Was contacted and apogelized for what had happen. I had contacted Clutch Canada in regards to looking for a car they did not have in stock. They offered to look for others outside Nova Scotia. After they contacted other dealers, we came across one car that seemed like the right fit. I was told they would reply back once they get more info. Two weeks later after trying to contact them via site, texting and email still no word on the car. I understand it is a new business and it is very busy, but this could of been resolved with an answer instead of ignoring me. They did go above and beyond with offering financing and contacting other dealers on my behalf.

Picked a car I liked on a Thursday evening (2017 Kia Forte SX), applied for financing, got an email Friday morning with my approval/terms. Had the car delivered to me in Truro on the Saturday. All communications I had with them up until delivery were through email, so if you're an anti-social millennial like myself, not having to deal with car salesmen or even talking to anyone for that matter, is great. You also have 7 days or 500km to return the vehicle if you'd like to have it checked out by your mechanic or if you decide you just don't like it. Definitely check them out. ????

Purchased a 2020 Hyundai Accent and found the experience very good. I researched the price of the car and found dealers with the same car, mileage and options were about 1500$ more expensive which would be the negotiation down to the same price (hopefully) as Clutch had it listed at. No dicker sticker is the way to go. I would suggest if you are shopping to do your research and definitely check the stock at Clutch.

Initially I am hesitant to deal a 45k car with them without seeing and driving a car. When they say you just pay$100 (refundable) to book a car and 90 days post sales warranty that's something new to the market. The car is in perfect condition and better than the photos. People on the phone are amazing and the agreement paper was so customer friendly. They delivered the car clean and shining with a full gas tank on my door step.

My experience with clutch wasn't awesome. There were several paperwork issues, and a general lack of follow through. They weren't careful and it was a pretty big mess. I left a longer review previously detailing all the mistakes that happened and the general manager contacted me. I don't like the idea of being "bought off" for a better review, but he at least tried to fix anything he could (because he didn't want a bad review, yes, but at least I wasn't just ignored again). I've given a slightly better review only because at least they (finally) followed through on something, and the car that we purchased is just fine. End of the day the car is like a 3-4 star, customer service is like a 2-3. So I gave a three.

I purchased a 2018 Rogue SV at Clutch after test driving several different vehicles at many dealerships. Clutch was easy since they came to my home and let me test drive on my schedule. All the other car dealers would make me wait about a week to have the cars I viewed online all ready to browse at the dealership. I was in a hurry to find a vehicle as I had been in a car accident and needed a replacement quickly. Booking online was so easy. My prior 2014 Civic was a great car and I wasn’t actively looking before the accident so I wasn’t even sure what I wanted. Fil at Clutch really helped me narrow down the best car for my budget and lifestyle. Clutch also let me test drive more then one car and brought a few to their location in Bedford so I could make the best decision. The Rogue was the best choice as I play many music festivals across Canada so it’s perfect for touring and loading all my gear. Now that it’s winter, I feel confident on snowy days and the AWD was definitely the best choice for Halifax driving in the end. I was still paying off my Civic so was concerned about costs. It was still in okay condition after getting fixed and Clutch traded it in for what I was expecting with the damage report. They did all the work to refinance my vehicle and even suggested I get insurance that will pay out the amount owing if anything were to happen since I was taking over costs from a prior vehicle and undercoated my vehicle. It was nice to see all these options up front and Ashley and Fil really helped me know what I was paying for and what would benefit me which I really appreciated. Clutch was more than accommodating, had the best price, best advice, and even delivered to me. 5 Stars from me.

I recently purchased a vehicle and multiple errors were made during my purchase. This included providing the wrong VIN on my loan paperwork. When I addressed this, I was made to feel like I was completely wrong and irrational for feeling like there was dishonesty in my sale. I was also provided the wrong car fax. While one employee admitted this, another tried to claim it wasn’t true. Started as a great experience and ended as a terrible one. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Received my new car from Clutch yesterday! The process was very easy and everyone I spoke with was very kind. I'm a bit disappointed that the interior of the car did not seem to be cleaned prior to delivery. There were smudges all over the touchscreen and a white substance on the passenger seat. Also this morning, the "low coolant" light came on and after checking, the level was way below the minimum. Not a great way to start a Saturday morning trying to figure out of how fix that as I am not a car-savvy person.

A roller coaster of a ride is how I'd describe Clutch and their service. For the TL:DR here's the bullet points. - Bad communication w/ no real time frame to speak of - Disorganized and very little attention to details - Miss-managed contract - Unwillingness to accept fault on their part - Total time spent trying to handle the purchase process = well over the 3 hours I'd be dealing with a car salesman. For those who want the breakdown... I stumbled upon Clutch while searching through one of the used car review sites. On first impression, I liked the refreshing way the company handled their sales; no hassle and no fuss. Like or don't and if you do, apply for financing if you need it and they'll cover the rest. That was exactly what I did. I found a wonderful vehicle in a 2013 Volkswagen Golf GTI (Image Shown) that was in amazing shape. Their concierge was helpful, unobtrusive and quite frankly the only part of this experience that I genuinely enjoyed. It only took a day to be approved. I ended up dealing with a financial manager named Ashley Kelly. She was friendly... That's about all I can say positive on how this was handled afterward. During this time I was dealing with a medical situation with a family member. She was in the hospital and things were getting daily. I had very little time to be dealing with this car purchase and was already burning the candle at both ends. I asked Ashley to have three items taken care of before I signed for the vehicle: a protection film on the front end of the car that was peeling off (asked to simply have removed), a missing GTI badge from the front grille and a nasty scratch going down the driver-side window. I also requested Ashley to try and work for a better interest. In four days I was not once given a timeline on when everything would be ready. Those four days only the film was removed. The rest I had little information to go by. I had also not been given any information on what she had come back with on my request to work with the banks a little more. I did not have the energy or patience to be waiting on responses. I asked for the car to be delivered as is and for the rest of the tasks be handled after the fact, which she agreed to. I signed on that fourth day and took over the car, but there was a catch. The finance contract was not set for the 60 months, but 72 months instead. 72 months was not even an option for the vehicle online and, at the time of signing, I had figured this was what Ashley had managed with the banks because it was already signed. I had expressly told Ashley the reason for wanting the car so quickly; I did not want to be dealing with a car purchase during this whole ordeal. Unfortunately, my words were not listened to. The 72 month term was a clerical error, not a deal. I was contacted by email early the following week and advised they needed new paperwork signed at the 60 month term. I was furious but did not get this information until after their office was closed, so I attempted to reach out to her the following morning. To make matters worse, my family member passed early the next morning. I tried Ashley twice with no success. At my limit already with this whole ordeal, I decided to speak with her Manager. My demands were thus; for Clutch to take responsibility of their serious error in their paperwork and assume the costs of the extra year they signed for that they could not keep on the contract. No small amount but that is exactly what would be expected if a customer were to have made an error. This was not acceptable to them. I ended up returning that car 20 minutes after I spoke with them. Thoroughly disappointed and exhausted from this whole ordeal. I'll stick with the sales people at dealership - at least I can expect some shadiness from them. Total time wasted on this purchase: 1 week at about 1 hour a day = 7 hours. Good job Clutch. Good job...

We used the Clutch in Halifax area and were super impressed with the system they have in place not to mention the attention to detail in their photos and their website in general. We made two trips and with the first being to test drive 2 vehicles and the final to test drive 3. Both times we had Alex who was super friendly, knowledgeable and just a refreshing experience in general for car sales interactions. Of all the vehicles we looked at (probably about 20 over the course of 2 weeks) Clutch's were the cleanest and better taken care of overall. I love the no haggle, price the car at a fair market value so everyone walks away not wondering if someone else would have got a better deal and hopefully this catches on. The cherry on top was Alex and Katy delivering the car to our doorstep the next day after being cleaned and filled up.

The people at Clutch are very nice. Kaitey Milley at the Halifax office, managed to secure me an owner's manual for my 2019 VW Sportswagon. It did not come with one. She also managed to dig up a second key for the vehicle, which will be sent to me. She was consistently friendly and helpful on the phone. Buyers should be aware that beyond the list price in their adds, Clutch charges a $900 dealer preparation fee. Also, it does not negotiate on prices. The vehicle registration (the title to the car) does not come with the purchase, but follows a week later. Still the cars are a good deal. Just ask what the total price, including taxes and fees, is upfront, as I did. Then you won't be surprised. All in all, it was a good experience.

Most relaxed test drive experience I've ever had. The person who delivered the car was also super nice and knowledgeable; and very relaxed. No sales pitch at all; jus info for us to consider. We did not buy the car we test drove but would definitely buy from them if the right one came up as I thought the price was very, very good compared to other places. The 210-point inspection and full disclosure approach sets these guys apart from everybody else I've met.

Tired to buy a car from Clutch but they made it VERY difficult. Had the car keys in my hand, they had my car on their truck, and I gave them my cheque. Took a little closer look at the car and there were a couple of features advertised on their website that were actually not on the car, also two standard accessories that come with all versions of this car were absent. I did a lot of research so I was being pretty fussy with my $40K+. After some back and forth they told it was was an error of their website. I guess that happens but it goes to show their level of attention to detail. I asked for a price reduction but they were not willing to budge. They then told me they could get one of the features added so I waited a week only to find out they were wrong again. At that point they offered me a 1% discount, which to me is laughable! I put a lot of time between my bank, my insurance company, and clutch getting everything set up for a delivery on my days off work only to have all fall apart. I looked at a couple other versions of the same car on their website, same make and model and year and found one to have 1000 less cubic meters of cargo space than the others, again lack of attention to detail. I'll likely spend my $40K+ elsewhere but if you decide to deal with them, pay close attention to the details because they are NOT!

I tried the dealership, and had a disconnected experience, speaking through glass to an Advisor who stated that he had no control and had to phone the Business Manager with each question we had. I performed lots of research on the value of the vehicle and it was a great deal; they had even placed new tires and brakes on it to meet their high standards. I gave them 4 out of 5 because the day of the sale Clutch only provided 1 key which was disappointing but partially my fault for not asking earlier. I would recommend them for a used car purchase.

There's a lot I liked about Clutch. I love that they offered to pick me up for a test drive, and that they delivered my new car to me. I was really happy with the no haggle pricing (checked it against competitors and it was great). I was very impressed when they advertised my car as having 2 keys, delivered it to me with 1, and then owned their mistake and ordered me a new one at their expense without me ever asking. All my interactions have been smooth and positive, they even had me in on Sunday so we could talk about my alignment (which they're happily having adjusted). Small edit: they're not only doing the alignment, but they picked my car up and took it to the mechanic themselves, and dropped it off when it's done. The whole experience has been A1 from start to finish and I'd 110% recommend these guys to anyone. If they have a car you're interested in, you should absolutely buy from them. No other car dealer, used or new, has even come close to this level of service.

By far the easiest car purchasing experience. We’ve been looking for a VW golf for weeks, turned off by greasy salesmen at the local VW dealerships, then stumbled across clutch who listed a golf at a much better price with no purchase pressure. Allie picked us up from our condo to take the car for a test drive, let us bring it through a car wash (on her dime) so we could see the paint condition more clearly. Bought a corolla hatchback from Clutch. It really was as seamless as they say! Instead of a test drive, we got a virtual tour of the car. We were a little hesitant about buying having not test driven the car, but we had test driven the same model at other dealerships and the 100% return policy also helped put our minds at ease. The trunk interior cover was missing upon delivery, but Clutch ordered a new one right away. Our car also only came with one key (this was listed in the ad), but they ended up sending along a second key a couple months after purchase after receiving it themselves. Overall, it was a great experience and a step up from needing to deal with pushy salespeople. Would recommend! ????????

Very cool car buying service that lives up to the hype. I was pretty set on a manual transmission Elantra and after being in for a couple days, just was too small. Emailed the team at Clutch, they came and picked it up within a couple days. The original deposit was credited to me and Fadil was amazing to deal with on the back end. Now, I am in a 2019 Volkswagen Sportwagen and I love it! What I love even more is the 90-day/6,000km warranty. I had a few issues with apple carplay and my lights and presto, a technician is coming out to look at my car and see what is wrong. The process may be strange and you may want another color but honestly the car buying experience from these guys is second to none. I am a lifer on the clutch buying experience. Well done folks!

I was not able to find the vehicle I wanted through traditional dealer channels and had been looking at a vehicle from Clutch online for a month or so. I finally made the decision to contact them and asked for a test drive. Almost instantly a representative called me and advised me that they don't do test drives, they do a 10 day no questions asked return policy after purchasing the car with no obligation to purchase another. I was immediately put off, but based on the interaction with the representative decided to move forward. The car was priced about $3000 below market. I did purchase an extended warranty and undercoating, all of which I selected myself during the check out process. Finance application was easy and approved within about an hour. We agreed on a delivery time, and I took pictures of my trade in, and they offered me about $1700 more than I was expecting. There was an issue with the delivery date. We agreed on Friday at 10am, but come 10:30 no one had shown up so I e-mailed my rep and he admitted he incorrectly processed the paperwork for delivery the next day. However, he admitted his mistake right away and got to work on making it right - mistakes happen. I received my car at 2PM that day and they agreed to pick it up next week and do the undercoating. They showed up and the transfer of the trade and signing the paperwork took about 15 minutes. The vehicle was exactly as presented and was like a brand new car despite being 2 years old and having 38,000K. I would have to recommend Clutch to anyone looking for a used car, even if they are initially apprehensive about the different online process, as I was. I would recommend that you have a make or model in mind before you shop with Clutch to make sure you are getting what you want (I am this type of consumer - I had a make and model in mind). This is not the traditional dealership where you may test drive 4 or 5 vehicles, so I'd recommend you do your homework beforehand and settle on a make and model. The process had zero pressure and I got the feeling that the individuals I dealt with had a real desire to satisfy their customers.

An excellent experience from start to finish. My CLUTCH representative, Ali, was extremely helpful, informative and efficient. The process was thoroughly explained every step of the way. Every question was answered honestly and directly. I truly appreciated the ease of the process and the transparency of the pricing and fees. The website is very well laid out and simple to navigate. I felt very confident in choosing my vehicle based on the photos, inspection report and Carfax report. On delivery day I received a call from the delivery driver to confirm my address and delivery time. He arrived right on time and the vehicle was exactly as we expected. We did a complete walk around inspection, inside and out, and then reviewed the contract together. No detail was overlooked. Our delivery driver was professional, friendly and courteous. He made every effort to ensure that our questions were answered and that we were completely satisfied with the vehicle and the process before leaving. I will highly recommend CLUTCH to everyone I know.

The staff at clutch were great. Their business model works great for a busy schedule. I purchased a van through these guys and have been very satisfied that being said be sure to have your new vehicle looked over by a mechanic at a different location. Within 7500km I had to have new brakes and rotors the alignment has aparantly been out the whole time which caused one of my wheels to wear out and need replacement the wheels that are on the van are also not the right size. So with that being said do your homework and take your time I didn't and it cost me.
