My 1st experience at trying to get information to purchase a car was a disaster and disappointment. I felt scammed. Instead of getting the information I need to make an informed decision on which car I would like to buy, I got a call telling me I was approved, no one discussed anything with me, the did 3 credit check on my credit score without my direct approval to do so and in the end posted information that made it difficult for me to get another affordable approval to purchase, what was worst is the system to report them....but I leave them to time. My prayers will not be in vain. I am only putting 1 star because that is the only way to post my dissatisfaction with the 2 people who used and set me up for failure,

What a great experience! I would definitely recommend City Mazda to anyone looking to buy a new car, especially if you’re afraid to deal with hidden fees or sneaky sales tactics. At City Mazda, I was kindly greeted by salesman Dalton who answered my questions and provided me with a quote for the car I was looking at. I then went to two other dealerships and they gave me quotes, but they were much higher than I expected because of the incredibly high dealer fees. I started thinking that maybe the quote I got from City Mazda didn't include the dealer fees. When I went back a couple days later for a test drive, Dalton informed me that they don't have an admin fee, and they don't make you pay for any ridiculous pre-installed accessories. (For example, Oregan's Toyota had an admin fee and apparently they make it mandatory for all their cars to get a hood and bumper guard at a cost of $630!!! I then went to Steele Hyundai, and the salesman used some tricks to hide some fees... which he eventually explained: $400 admin fee, $150 bank fee, $150 mud flaps, and worst of all, a $600 tire and wheel warranty!?! He only explained after the fact that this is optional, saying “most people buy it anyway so that’s why we include it." All in all, with taxes, the Hyundai dealer fees added $1,600 to the price of the vehicle.) Dalton was great, he brought over the specific model that I wanted with the i-Activesense features from their lot so I could try it out during the test drive with my family. He went over the features of the car in good detail before the test drive and even helped me install the car seat. The folks at City Mazda were great, from the salesman, the sales manager and the financing specialist, they were all honest and upfront and not too pushy. If you’re in the market for a new car be sure to include them on your list of dealerships to visit!

City Mazda truly makes you feel like family. After 9 years and 4 vehicles, I know and trust that I'm being taken care of by a team who won't treat you like a number. As one of the last remaining family-owned dealers here in the HRM; you still can still get that traditional small town feel with service levels exceeding modern expectations. Whether it's Brenda and her wonderful team on the sales side, or Merrie and Ken on the service side - rest assured you'll be well taken care of. More than fair trade values, honest service and no pressure...they nail it in every category. Now, it's not all roses. There's been a few bumps along the way with my vehicles over the years but this spectacular team has done right every single time. Every. Time. Our relationship started back in 2012 after walking out of a very negative experience at a competitor. Since then, I've looked at other brands and dealers during the due diligence process but always return home to City Mazda. TLDR; I highly recommend City Mazda in every way and I challenge YOU to go in and say hi during your next vehicle purchase, at the very least. You won't be disappointed.

I paid for extra warranty on my Mazda 6 a few years back and required warranty service as the car was burning excessive amounts of oil. They wouldn’t honor the warranty claiming I had not performed every warranty service on the schedule,....even though every service relating to the engine was performed. I produced several documents showing this was a common problem with that model engine. They totally dismissed it saying that applied only to American Mazda’s. Crooks. Would never deal with them again if you paid me. I went back to the salesperson who sold me on the extra warranty and they claimed it was out of thier hands. Mazda lost my business forever.

I've had great service from this location and other times it feels like I'm pleading with them to help me. Bought wipers one time and had to bring them back two times because they kept scratching my windshield. Apple Autoglass fixed it and told me to take the wipers back to the dealer a third time and tell them they were junk lol. Brought my car in three times to try to deal with a sputtering noise (sounds like dirty fuel injectors or a bad purge valve or something), we replaced a few other things and it hasn't solved the problem. Now I can't get my car out of park and the guy told me that since the car is old with lots of kms and also isn't acting up when it's at the dealership I should probably not get it fixed. I'm gonna have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed because I'm tired of getting stuck in park in awkward places and the sputtering noise is still happening. I'm discouraged but I've come too far to give up on my car because one shop can't solve the mystery.

I had trouble getting approved elsewhere, but I had already done my research and decided that I could afford a higher interest to improve my credit. I need a car to get to the job that will pay the bills on time every month, and they did a great job at City Mazda getting me a reasonable arrangement even though I was in a difficult financial situation. I’m very happy with my used Ford Fusion I bought through them! Most of the bad reviews are complaints about things outside of their control, which is refreshing. I’m also a minority and they were completely respectful! 10/10 would recommend.

Very disappointed with my last service. Went in for an oil/filter change/general inspection. They told me the cabin air filter needed replacement (which it did). I told them not to replace it because I have spares. They reassembled the glove box wrong which is very unprofessional. But the worst part is what I found under the hood! On the inspection report they marked the engine air filter as bad. So I went in to take a look and saw tons of rodent droppings inside the engine bay and around the air box. Concerned by that I looked around and found some wires that had been chewed up, including ignition coil wires. The dealership HAS to have seen this if they looked at the filter (there was droppings inside the air filter box). But they didn't tell me about that. What they did tell me about though, is the cabin air filter which they wanted $65 for it (costs $10 and takes 45 seconds to replace, literally). Not happy at all.

Being in our retirement years we have bought many cars over the years and one thing that we both found very stressful with just a couple of exceptions was talking with the sales rep. Often they would try to tell us what we wanted or needed instead of just showing us what they had to offer. Our experience at City Mazda was the total opposite, in fact this was the first time that we purchased a vehicle and enjoyed every moment of the process. Richard was very friendly and highly knowledgeable about our new CX9. We knew there would be a lot to learn and he was more than willing to teach us before and after the sale was complete. We not only enjoyed the experience but we love our new vehicle. It’s definately more than a step up from any of our previous purchases with technology that’s cutting edge. Recently I went to the pick up my young brother in law and his wife from the airport and he was amazed at all the amenities existing in the CX9. As I was explaining all the safety features, bells and whistles he stated “ So they sold you the seniors package!!!” of course hinting at my need for such technology as I get older. “Pretty much I said.” We know that whichever one of us takes the vehicle in for itsmaintainance schedule we can have a chat with Richard if he’s not busy with another customer and have a free specialty coffee and cookie while we're waiting. They quoted me $1500 for something that other Mazda service store quoted me $1000 to fix. They charged me for 6 hours and only had the car for 3. $112.5 or hour. I am definitely never using them again. Do yourself a favor and call the one in Dartmouth or even the one on the valley. I could have saved$500 of I had done it in the valley.

I went to see Matt at city Mazda I explained the problems I was having with my current vehicle and what were some upgrades I’d like to make. I don’t have the best credit and went to another dealer and was not happy with what they came back to me with and than went to city Mazda. Matt managed to get me a HUGE upgrade and into a SUV that I absolutely love. All of this for a slightly higher payment than I was making on my previous small car. I’ve been driving it for two weeks and have had zero issues and feel completely safe unlike my previous car. A huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and Matt was extremely helpful to me ! I cannot recommend him enough. He is a family man and will go above and beyond for yours !

I recently purchased a 2018 Mazda 3 GT from City Mazda. The entire process – initial contact, test drive, financing, and delivery – was seamless. The staff at City Mazda have been wonderful to work with. My sales rep – Jasper Gilbert – was friendly/approachable, professional, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. Jasper was very attentive and keen to help me find the correct car for me. I also need to acknowledge the outside-of-the box thinking of the sales and finance teams which helped ensure I was getting the best deal possible. The delivery process of my new car was exceptional for reasons I will outline below. Before receiving the keys to my new car, I had the opportunity to sit down with the delivery specialist and learn more about my car, City Mazda and Mazda in general. It was also during my time with the delivery specialist that I also received a tour of various areas of the dealership – reception, service/parts, City Café, and a viewing area of the service garage. Before driving away, Jasper gave me a tutorial on key interior features that were new to me – including dual-zone climate control and in-car Bluetooth. Jasper helped pair my phone to the car. Taking the experience one step further, Jasper noted that the car was not completely full of gas, and he immediately took corrective action. Jasper obtained a gas card and we then proceeded down the street for a fuel top-up. I must say that I am beyond impressed with the experience and level of service I received. It is clear that City Mazda values its customers. In closing, I must reiterate two points. Firstly, I highly recommend City Mazda to anyone in the market for a new car; ask for Jasper Gilbert – he is awesome! Service par excellence. Secondly, I absolutely love my new Mazda 3! #ZoomZoom

I've been a customer of City Mazda since the purchase of my first car (a Mazda 3) in 2010 and now am on my second car (a CX-5 bought two years ago) - I've always had a great experience with them from purchase to after-sales service. Recently, they've implemented texting when you drop you car off for service such that they explain everything via text (which is handy in case you fail to take notes when talking to them on the phone). They also now have their technician take a video walkthrough of your servicing, pointing out what work they've done and any issues/recommendations - what a fantastic feature!! It really provides a sense of transparency and honesty in their servicing, which typically feels closed off and unknown to me - so I very much appreciate them implementing this new feature! City Mazda have always treated me with respect and kindness - their employees seem to care and are professional and I would certainly recommend this dealership to any prospective Mazda owner!

Their service department is abysmal at best. They're unorganized and have a lack of basic Customer Service skills. My car was in the shop for an entire week and they could not give me a proper explanation of what was going on - whenever I called in to ask for someone to tell me what was going on to my car and when they would provide me with a rental ( They eventually told me that I needed a new Transmission, which was covered under my warranty, but the transmission was back ordered and they could not provide me a rental until 10 business days had passed.. whereas Mazda Canada was telling me it was after 5 calendar days.) For days, whenever I would call in for an update, I was told that the person I needed to talk to was in meetings. When I would get to someone, their stories and excuses never added up so when I finally demanded an explanation on what was going on with my car and whether they're actually going to be providing me with a rental after 5 days per Mazda Canada's advisement ( this was day 5 of having the car there) - I was told that I was "Abusive and threatening" and they hung up in my face and in the end refused my warranty work all together. They couldn't even get their stories straight on why they cancelled my appointment - these were the reasons they provided to me in order: - "you told Mazda Canada that you wanted to cancel the warranty work and go elsewhere" - I did not tell Mazda Canada to cancel my appointment, I asked if I was able to pick up my car and use it for work until the transmission was delivered to do the work, I was told they did not know if that was possible. - they said they were refusing to do my warranty work because of my "abusive and threatening" manner. - because being frustrated about getting the runaround from a dealerships service department for 5 days and then demanding answers is abusive and threatening to them. In the end after all of this mess, after I picked up my car from City Mazda (On Friday afternoon) - I called Steele Mazda in Dartmouth to see if they could take a look at my car - Without even knowing of my issues with City Mazda, and with very little notice - they were able to take my car in yesterday morning, give me a full diagnosis of the situation, provided me with a rental right away (they were estimating 25 days without due to the back order) and have already reached out to me today telling me that my car will likely be ready tomorrow, if not by the end of the week since they found a transmission. If you want good service, and you want to have your car well taken care of - I strongly urge you to deal with Steele Mazda instead of City Mazda, they don't waste your time, they understand your frustrations and your troubles and they do everything they can to help you (with a smile). We bought one of our cars from them. When it had major issues, they actually blamed us, and said it was due to lack of maintenance. After about 6 weeks of fighting they determined the problem wasn’t ours. What’s suspicious is they didn’t disclose all of the information up front, as they should have. I can’t trust them anymore. Always be truthful up front. At all times. It shows character EDIT* response to owner. I had changed my name on google for privacy. Maybe a chev cruz 2014 with engine failure will ring a bell? Anyways, what would be the point in contacting you? You had already proven to be untrustworthy once, are you going to try to fool me again?

Bought a Madza 3, 2016 two and a half years ago that included a maintanance package for 4 years. Its been great, bringing the car into Madza every 7000km to get the filter and oil changed, along with any other tune up. It was my last time there unfortunately, because I didn't read the fine print. "4 years or 80,000km" whichever comes first. So here I am 2.5 years into owning this car thinking general maintanence wont be an issue for the next year and a half. Oh well, the hospitality there is top class. Nice lazy boys, coffee, cold beverages, and even fresh cookies from time to time. I won't be going back only because there is a elevated price on car repairs, but great staff, great atmosphere.

We have been taking our car to City Mazda for almost three years. During that time, we have been fairly treated and our car has been well looked after. The warranty expired on our car about a week ago and with the help of Mazda Canada and the exceptional staff at City Mazda, the problems we encountered with our car today were dealt with in a fair and satisfactory manner. I went to City Mazda to buyout my Mazda CX-5, while the same time they was doing the MVI for my car. However, after I paid the final payment and started driving home, I just noticed that there is a distinctive scratch on the steering wheel. I reached out to service advisor and they took the pictures of it and the manager just simply said they didn’t cause the scratch and of course I didn’t do that. After the discussion they said that my car is still covered by warranty and they can try using warranty to get it fixed but after a week I called them to ask how’s things going, the manager just told me that it’s not covered by warranty and it costs $800. They think they didn’t cause the scratch so they won’t pay for that. Honestly, before I send my car to City Mazda for MVI there’s no scratch, but when I picked up and drive, the touch feeling was can not be ignored. So I asked the manager to check the monitoring and he said after checked it out he’s gonna get back to me. However, a week has passed and I still didn’t hear anything back. That’s their attitude to the customer. Is it a will or a skill issue? Choose wisely, I would never go nor recommend City Mazda to anyone personally. *UPDATE* I saw the response from the owner so I think I should talk about the day that we checked the camera. At Feb 11, I went to City Mazda to check the camera with manager after work. Unfortunately, the camera didn’t tell us who has caused the scratch, neither the technician nor me, and then the manager said that maybe the scratch was there before I send it for MVI. I’m 100% sure it wasn’t there before so I said no, you can go check the steering wheel now. But after he saw my steering wheel he said “Wow, you steering wheel is way better than before, you should be happy, what do you want now.” Why should I feel happy at the time? The scratch was not there before I came to City Mazda. Based on the pictures you took earlier, I expected a new steering wheel and after I say that the manager said “That not gonna happen.” and he wants to take pictures of my steering wheel now, I said yes at the first time but while he was looking for the camera I thought I should ask for a copy of the old pictures which took by you before but when I ask him if I could keep a copy of the picture, he said “That’s not gonna happen.” Why did you refuse to give me a picture of my own vehicle? And he said We done or something else but same meaning. and just walk away.

I took over the lease of a vehicle through City Mazda. While the car (CX-3) is fantastic, the service I received was terrible. I booked an appointment and ended up leaving because I had to wait so long past the scheduled appointment time. When I finally got another appointment, the staff member was incredibly disorganized and gave the impression they did not know what they were doing. Obviously they did not know what they were doing because the lease transfer was not done correctly and when I contacted City Mazda they told me that they couldn't help me because it's out of their control. If you want a Mazda, go to Steele.

I've been a loyal customer, I've bought 2 cars in the past and have referred multiple friends to do the same. I've experienced multiple issues with the maintenance department. However, I've decided they were not a "big deal" as mistakes happen, I'll just get another car. After promising me a 2017 CX5 in a certain colour, they then call the next day and say they "were sorry, we looked into it, and there are none left east of Vancouver." I then called another dealer, who found not one, but 26 of them! Not only is the car currently in Dartmouth already, shipped from Quebec in 6 days, I ended up getting everything I wanted for less! Moral of the story, shop around. They want your loyalty, but won't give you theirs!

Sold us a car with the subframe not only rotted but broken. We spent 1500$ in shipping and this seller decided to be dishonest. Used car manager knew we were bringing this car to Toronto.. we bought the cars under his trust without seeing it.. yet was ok with us being unsafe as long as they got the money in their pocket.. we were left no choice but to find a shipping company to ship the car back to Toronto as we could not drive the car with the rear wheel broken out and out of place.. how can you even sleep knowing you can kill someone.. I have been taking my car here since moving to Halifax. Haven’t had issues in the past, and usually the service is exceptional and everyone is very nice. However, most recently during a hefty service appointment (no warranty), I was told my front brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced immediately (3mm) and that it was unsafe to drive my car, was then quoted around 600$ for replacements. Decided to take my car for a second opinion and turns out my brake pads and rotors do not need to be replaced until at least next fall/winter and that they are actually 5mm not 3mm. Will be cautious using services from Mazda that are not under warranty in the future, I feel taken advantage of. Usually, I feel very well taken care of here, this has been a unfortunate experience.

Think twice before doing business with City Mazda. Like all car dealerships, City Mazda is friendly and helpful before you buy the car. However, its a completely different story after you bought it ! After you have purchased it, City Mazda doesnt even have the courtesy, much less professionalism to reply to an email or return your call. When I purchased my Piss pot, I mean CX-5, I was told that City Mazda will take care of the Permit and Certificate of Registration as part of their "5 Star Service" Weeks went by and I never received the Permit or Registration. When I contacted the dealer, I was told that it was mailed weeks ago and that Canada Post must have lost it. When I contacted City Mazda by email to inform them I never received anything in the mail, I was told the following: " You are blaming us for Canada Post? Sometimes no matter what one does to help it never works out". I was then told by the Sales Manager I would need to drive to Access NS and try and fix this mess by getting the necessary documentation. How IRONIC that I now have to schlep to Access NS to do what the so called "5 Star Service" was designed to do eliminate !!! UPDATE: Had to bring the pisspot in for service as the infotainment system (CHEAP) wasnt working and the back doors wouldnt open. After wasting a few hours waiting for the vehicle, I just drove off the light when the "Service vehicle" light came on. I called to ask the Service Manager Gordon why the service dept. didnt check to see if I needed an oil change while it was in for service. Instead of being helpful, he starts giving me attitude. So I spoke with the big boss man, Steve Scarfe who told me to take the vehicle elsewhere for service. City Mazda SOLD me the CX5 with a 2 year Service Plan and now will only not service the vehicle but will not honour the Service Agreement. WOW !!! If this doesnt set off Red Flags for consumers then I dont know what will. BE WARNED !!!

Worst car buying experience of our lives. Our car was falsely advertised to include a new safety inspection and to include City Mazda's 2 year maintenance program. Instead, the car would not pass safety due to a defective windshield, which City Mazda falsely claimed had been replaced, and was put on the lot anyway with a safety inspection that expired in 2 months while at the same time being advertised as having a new inspection. We were told after purchase that the "included" maintenance package was not free and that we had somehow declined it without even talking about it. A nightmare experience that we will never repeat.

Honest excellent service! Brought my wife’s car for an alignment but asked to have a quick look around the right front wheel due to unusual wear on that tire. They did just that and reported to me that the the right front shock struck was worn/ blown out and took me out to show me. They didn’t charge me for that quick diagnosis as I know they could have and I was prepared to pay. They also told me not to move forward with the alignment until that shock was replaced. I will bring it he car back to them for the alignment after I replace the shock. I always appreciate honest, professional service. On a side note the waiting area near the shop with windows overlooking the shop is quite nice with power recliners and I pads as well as a tv and they even have a large pillow on the floor for your fur friends if they happen to come with you to you service appointment! Way to go city Mazda!

Bought my 2014 Mazda 3 GS here last week, and I'm happy to say that I'm satisfied with the buy. Brendan, my sales rep, was fantastic to work with. He was patient, honest, and quick to note and fix any faults we found with the car. The pricing, however, is a little aggresive, so be sure to do your research before stepping in. Everything is priced closer to what you will see elsewhere on the market, but the vehicles sold are well maintained to make up for it. Overall, I'd say this is a dealership that emphasizes quality and reliability over cheap buys-- great for first time car owners.

Not Impressed. I have just moved to the area and needed to have my 2014 Mazda 3 serviced. In addition, I noticed a knocking noise coming from the rear right suspension. I brought this to the attention of the service staff. Whilst waiting for the service, I was told that the rear brakes needed to be replaced and that was "most likely" the cause of the noise. As I had replaced the rear left suspension just six months before, the sound was very similar and I told the service staff this. However, nothing more was done and I was presented with a bill for the service and brakes. Within a day, I noticed that the knocking noise was still evident. I returned on 24th January (less than a week after the service) so that the service staff could investigate. They claimed that they could not find the problem. Again , I reminded them that the noise seemed to be coming from the rear right suspension. I accompanied a service member on a test drive and pointed out the sound. "Oh, that will be the suspension" he said. It is both frustrating and worrying that the team of "Master Technicians" with "years of experience" could not find the fault on the first visit. It felt that, having sold me a new set of brakes, they stopped looking for the problem. In the end, it took me two visits to resolve an issue that ought to have been solved first time, by "professionals". The Service Manager waived the labour charges as a 'goodwill gesture'. Frankly I would rather have had the job done properly first time. This not really the level of service I expected from a professional dealer.

The manager tried to argue that it is normal in the Mazda world as the Manufacture offers Unlimited Milage, but as a consumer, that doesn't justify why the vehicle had such amount of km and still considered as a Brand-new. Don't expect the dealership to disclose all the information, you have to ask everything when you are purchasing the vehicle, lesson learned. Always check where the vehicle is currently at. If they are offering or saying they have 1 in stock, check if that is actually in the site, NOT in a compound (this was where we were told, saying it is at the compound nearby, not like 5 hour away distance)!!! Definitely NOT going to recommend any other people to fall for this scam.

Bought a Mazda 2 from them 2 years ago one of my warranties ran out a month after I bought it. Then to my understanding when I purchased the car I bought an extended 5 year warranty. But every time I call regarding an issue I am told my warranty is expired. Called today to see if an issue was covered regards to my back hatch rusting from the inside out and nope my warrant expired. Will never buy another car from a dealer. Not happy

worst service ever, Mazda is not a good make for the weather here in Halifax and the funny fact is that ,they even do not have the parts for Mazda!!!after a full day of waiting they finally charged me $130 for diagnosis and boosting the battery and told me the car is ok to go but try not to use the lights so often and wait 2-3 weeks for the part to be ordered from Toronto!!

I have been told by other Mazda owners and even by a City Mazda dealership employe that this is a relatively common occurrence with my make and model of vehicle. I recently purchased a 2018 Mazda 3 just before the New Year and was very impressed with the customer service there. Had a sales representative named Richard who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the product. Not once was a pressured to buy anything. They will ask you if you would like to purchase a maintenance package and the fiance office will ask if you would like to purchase extended warranty, life/disability insurance and undercoating. Customer should make an informed decision if such services are right for them. Once again, there was no pressure to purchase these services. Very helpful every step of the way in regards to purchasing a vehicle. Would highly recommend this place. It is also one of the few dealerships in the city not owned by Oregans or Steele.

Purchased a 2020 Mazda 3 in July. While purchasing I was asked about winter tires. I informed the salesman that I had new 15" winter tires on rims from my old Mazda 3. He informed me that these would be fine. These are not fine, they do not fit the new 2020 rotors. So I called City Mazda to explain the situation, that I had been led astray and see what they could help with, let's face it, everyone and their dog gets winter tires thrown into their new vehicle purchase, it's commonplace. I would have done the same had I not been told that the tires I currently have would work. City Mazda advised that I sell the ones I have on kijiji and purchase new ones. I guess what I am saying is, this is a classic horror story from a car dealership. Given wrong information to use products that don't work just to have you turn around and buy more things from the dealership. Sad really. So now here I am with no winter tires for the upcoming winter season. *UPDATE* Was contacted by Mazda and they expressed their sympathies with my situation. They then proceeded to try to sell me tires and rims to the tune of ~$1000, as I suggested they would above. They also informed me that City Mazda does not include Winter Tires in their sales. So for anyone considering a purchase here, take that into consideration, I purchased my wife's car, with winter tires thrown in, from the dealership across the street. Hope this review helps all you future car buyers.

Bought a brand new mazda 3 from city mazda, thought doing all the maintenance at this dealership would get me the best price. But I am surprised they quoted me 30$ extra for my 1st oil change and changing tires with rims on. Bit upset had a great buying experience from them though but think il get all the maintenance done at steel Mazda in Dartmouth. Yes I know I didnt opt for the maintenance package offered to me and also i am aware of the fact that there's labour charge when it comes to changing tires. All I was trying to say is when I called in to book an appointment for my 1st oil change and changing my winter tires I got a quote for $160 including taxes and just to double check I called steele mazda in dartmouth they quoted me $130 for the same.

I purchased my first Mazda in March of 2019, I had checked location reviews and spoke with friends before heading in to City Mazda. It has been the most positive experience in all my car purchases. I had done my research and knew which vehicles I was interested in checking out. Being physically disabled I wasn’t sure if I could physically see out of a particular model but was fairly confident of a second. After discussion of all my must haves we got in to the first car. Which was lovely but wouldn’t work. So without hesitation we moved on to the next vehicle on my list and it was a success beyond my wildest dreams. James was a great salesman. I had my 1993 Mazda Miata serviced by a senior tech who has been there for 30 years. Had service for timing belt, accessory belts and water pump along with all the associated seals along the way. Rad flush done and fixed a cracked vent hose I was unaware of! Very happy with the attention to detail to my Miata. The car being 28 years old, my priority was to make sure someone doing this work would be familiar with the original 1.6L engine. Very happy that at this dealership there’s someone who’s been working on these cars since they were brand new! Bill was 1500, higher than I would have liked but the peace of mind knowing someone is caring for my car that knows them inside and out is worth it for the work that was done.

I was told I was getting the car at "invoice pricing" and it wasn't. The car windows weren't even cleaned, it had the blue haze all over the inside of the windows and took many tries to get them clean. They have no washbay, so you can't get your car cleaned after service, they will NOT tell you that when you're looking to buy a car. There was wax all over the outside of the windows, so every time I roll the windows down and up, the windows are coated with wax again. They will have the sales manager in the office with the salesperson to put pressure on you too. They won't tell you the price of the car, they will just tell you what you pay per month so you never really know the price of the car. When you want to go home and think about it, they both jump on you and try to force you to buy the car right there. I'm dealing with Mazda Canada about these issues now and I hate myself for buying a car from these high pressure sales people who lie. Dartmouth Mazda was the place I should have bought my car. Lesson learned. Also, City Mazda sold my name, phone number and email address to market companies. I receive phone calls and emails since I bought the car. They have no integrity and will sell all of your information just to make a few more cents off of you. Update after the reply. I've been lied to enough by people at that dealership. I wish I would have recorded the lies as proof. Perhaps I'll send a friend in with a cell phone recording while they are lied to? Maybe post if all over social media? Then we'll see how you defend your lies.
