I had purchased two cars from this dealer and I’m more than happy with the outcome. They stand behind their vehicles even when they don’t have to. I’m not an emotional buyer ????so I buy what I need and do my research online on pricing and conditions of vehicles and I always end up coming back to them. I know that they will not give me a bad functioning car and they always negóciate prices and been very flexible and honest. I don’t like to been push for a car and here I had not had that experience with the sales man who been very reliable and honest on disclosing everything about the vehicles. The owner of this dealer it is also very honest and flexible and I must said that I have the impression that he genuinely cares about his clients . There are my place of option when buying my cars. And because we purchased vehicles we were part of the VIP program giving us 15% off service work which is already aggressively priced. The only reason we didn't go for there for other 3 cars is we liked 2 of them other dealers had, although in hindsight it would have been better to still go back to Shawn and see if could find the same cars. And the last one my wife wanted a brand new vehicle. When I'm in the market again, Cars R Us will be my first stop.

As far as used car places go, Cars R Us is probably good. Keep in mind, like most people, I have a strong dislike of used car dealerships. Recommend really pushing hard on price. Also, watch for and refuse to pay their ridiculous "administration fee". It's just a bogus made up secret charge. Be prepared to walk out the door when they get pushy about it.

I told him I was paying cash up front but he still insisted I get a loan from them and would not even let me back out on the lot to look at cars. I just left and bought a car elsewhere. If this is how they treat potential customers I can only imagine how bad the service would have been after the fact.

They have the best deals in the Maritimes for pre owned vehicles. They’re not selling junk. Everything on the lot is good quality or it wouldn't be there. There's no shady sales pitch just honest people who want you to drive away happy. If your not happy then go back and let them know. The service doesn't stop once you drive off the lot. We bought a 2011 Honda CRV in march of 2016, six months later we had nothing but problems with it, the brakes were shot by October 2016, we had taken it to a local garage and it cost $975 for new calibers rotors and brakes for the entire vehicle. By December the air conditioner compressor blew it in, I ended up stranded by the side of the road with a smoking engine. I had the vehicle towed to Cars R Us to have it fixed, we decided to buy a 2yr powertrain warrenty when we purchased the vehicle and most of the work was covered. But 2 months later we started having issues with the vehicle stalling at low speeds and losing oil. I called to let them know of the issue, the guy sluffed it off and said the oil was just changed and it should be fine. The issues persisted until the summer when the brakes, yet again, went on the rear driver side. I took the vehicle back in and was told after they did a diagnosis, that the engine is basically shot and it would cost $3000 for a new low mileage engine. The warrenty company would not cover it as we missed an oil change. Ignoring the fact that we have been adding about a litre of oil a week to the engine. I would beware of buying vehicles from them, especially from their clearance lot. They seem to have no problem selling you a hunk of junk and insisting that it is a quality solid vehicle

I am extremely disappointed in the clearance centre. We bought a used car on Saturday not being told there wouldn’t even be a 30 day warranty The very next day the car wouldn’t start. We tried contacting this company and were told we were on our own. One day after the purchase The car looked great but I suspect that was there intent all along I will never recommend this company to anyone I know and I will make certain that everyone knows of our plight I couldn’t give no stars , as then it wouldn’t let me leave a review So I am adding to my review after having the car towed and repaired at a cost of$200. We still haven’t heard from anyone at this company. And that’s fine. I hadn’t expected to considering that we hadn’t heard anything in the days immediately following the purchase. Now after 3 weeks the rear brakes have gone on the car and we are now looking into who does the safety inspections on their vehicles I have my vehicle looked after by Major Discount who by the way are awesome. Their technicians can tell me that I am going to need brakes within a 6 month period but whoever Cars r Us use apparently pass vehicles without knowing or caring that the vehicle will need work done at all Who passes a vehicle when within 3 weeks the brakes have to be replaced? I will be contacting whoever I can to lay a complaint about this company and their mechanics

Do not do business with this company! I bought this gmc sierra from CarsRus in 2015. This was my first dealership purchase in Canada and during the closing process I double checked with Craig(manager) if the truck had any accidents listed and he said no! Step ahead in time to August 2018, I am upgrading to a newer truck and as I am busy closing the deal with another Dealership, they inform me that the truck has been in two major accidents before with damage to the value of more than $30000 combined! And now they have my old truck up for sale AGAIN at $15/16k. This vehicle is not safe and yet they try and sell it again at a massively inflated price. This is just a fair warning to anyone thinking of doing business with CarsRus! Needless to say, I was unable to trade the vehicle and I had to go back to CarsRus. The whole process was a joke! I ended up having to purchase again from them for no other dealership would take the truck on a trade, nor would CarsRus buy the vehicle back from me, which would have allowed me to go elsewhere to purchase another truck! I was forced to buy from them!!! Now with the latest truck, they did an MVI, great, but they did not update the computer regarding a major recall for the new truck model(issued in May of 2018) that could result in a catastrophic accident( cruise control does not disengage!) The manager(Craig) only informs me two weeks after I purchased the vehicle!! Please people, do not do business here. I am certain there are more people with similar experiences. I have logged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, lets see where that takes me.

Cars R Us is the best car dealership we have ever experienced, we went online and found the vehicle we were looking for 2016 Ford Explorer XLT and it so happened Cars R Us had one in stock the color and interior and accessories we wanted. Arriving at Cars R Us we met Tony and told him the SUV we were interested in. After we went for a test drive we were convinced this is the SUV we were looking for. After 4 to 5 weeks we had some issues with the SUV at which time Gary told us not to worry he will have the Explorer repaired at the dealership. Both Gary and Tony and the staff @ Cars R Us are top notch professionals. We have heard so many horror story's about used car dealerships but we can say Cars R Us does not in any way shape nor form fall in this category they are the most professional group of people we have encountered and we will be buying our next vehicle from the crew at Cars R Us. Good experience up to the day of the sale. Shaun told me he would give me $9000 for my trade in. The day of told me he could only give me $7000 because he could only sell it for $10000. Which I thought was understandable. Later I looked at what they priced it at to make sure they weren’t lying, and what do you know they had it at $12000. Thanks for ripping off a college student!

Went in 3 weeks ago to look for an SUV, our income was verified by Cars R Us, Jamie-Lynn had told us we were good to go and what we could expect for financing. We were transferred over to Shawn who would be finding a vehicle for us. One suggestion for a smaller CAR than the one we have now, was made, then nothing. I called back a few days later, Shawn didn't even know who I was. Since then we haven't heard anything. This is not at all how I thought we would be treated, we have just been snubbed after all that work. I can't believe how a reputable company like Cars R Us just dropped the ball.

Sure they get the job done- eventually. 8am appointment to get a tire repaired (25 minute job). 4 hours later had not even brought my car into the shop. Why ask me to come in first thing in the morning if you're gonna waste my whole day? Won't be coming back.
