I had a fantastic experience buying a car from Atlantic Acura, I bought a used TLX from Bruce, who was very helpful and knowledgeable, the price was great as well. I had to bring it in for service, which as well was formidable, the service adviser was very helpful, and the work was done in a timeful manner, with snacks and beverages while you wait. I'll definitely be back to buy again.
The guy at the parts counter is awesome. The bald pretentious twerp in glasses at the service counter is to be avoided. This place is too pretentious for me, but to each their own. I'll stick to my second hand cars as long as they behave like this at dealerships.

We purchased our first Acura from Atlantic in 2014 and could not be more satisfied with the buying experience and customer service since then. Almost everyone who walks by asks "have you been looked after?" or "would you like anything to drink?" This is the way a vehicle buying/extended service program should be run. The staff take pride in their work and it shows. I would not hesitate to recommend Atlantic Acura to friends and family.

Bought a slightly used ILX; made a specific deal for some extras but those things did not go smoothly. Facility is beautiful and staff are very professional, but the 2 times I needed the service department, they did not do a good job at all. I was contacted by the service department manager to see if they could make things right (the second time, sigh) but I politely declined and got the items fixed at my local garage quite easily and correctly. Will not be back for service for this vehicle or my Ridgeline
Update May 2018: Took the RDX for a vibration issue. Had to go in twice, annoying since they didn't road test the first fix (they did discover and fix a separate issue). Every time I got a loaner and service people were straight forward and knowledgeable. They gave me stick for putting 3rd party rotors on the car, but the Acura ones only lasted 40k km. The vibration is still there, but not as noticeable. Always have a mixed experience here. Jason was easily the most knowledgeable dealer we met and initial experience was positive. He works very hard to close the deal. He matched a new $500 incentive from Acura the day of and when my trade in's AC didn't work they still held their side of the deal. However I was in for a surprise when I flew back to Ontario and they I couldn't register this car for 2 reasons: Atlantic Acura didn't give me the original NVIS and they mistakenly registered the vehicle in NS (leaving me stuck with $960 in extra fees). I couldn't register the car or get insured with my current insurance since it was already registered out of province. To make it worse, when I flew back to Halifax at 7pm I found out Atlantic Acura sold my trade in before I even had the keys to my new car (I asked them for my old car back a day before). Luckily I found an NS insurance rep open at night to put a new policy for the RDX. Otherwise I'd be taking the bus home. Now I have to pay $1360 getting the car safetied in ON, cancelling my old cars insurance, cancelling my NS insurance when I register it in ON, and paying extra in taxes for a province i'm not a resident of. Jamie, the manager, followed up with me after this review summarizing it was a miscommunication on both parts. I asked if they could discount a few accessories and said Acura doesn't allow us any wiggle room. He also said I got a stellar deal on a 2017 RDX. However the dealer in Ottawa offered a marginally cheaper price and my old Honda dealership is giving me at cost accessories on *Acura* parts. They also stated that I can service my Acura at any Honda dealership (I'm 300km from the Atlantic Acura). This isn't true according to Acura Canada. The Honda dealership does not have the computer to read the maintenance minders. Every time I speak to Atlantic Acura I feel like I'm getting played in someway.

My parents bought an 2015 Acura TL from Atlatnic Acura after having been dedicated customers there for over 20 years. This car has been failing to start many times and the electronics are faulty. Atlantic Acura have failed to fix the issue and they are now left with a car that is not reliable despite paying over 50000 for this vehicle. My parents have been dedicated customers of this Acura dealership and have given a lot of money and business to them over time. Atlantic Acura's response to this car is unacceptable. This car was a beta model and they sold it to my parents knowing full well that it had major problems. It time that they addressed the issue as the car is shop frequently. My parents have been stranded road side many times. Its time to come clean about your high end cars.
I just had my first experience with Atlantic Acura, and i was blown away by the levels of service, and hospitality I received. From the welcome to the good-bye, I could not think of one recommendation for improvement based on my expectations of a luxury brand service experience.

Been here at least 10 times over the years to get minor service done for an '06 TSX. I was always treated well and had all work explained to me in advance so there were never surprises. I had mostly dealt with Ku and a few others. The shuttle rides back into downtown, and the occasional loaner came in handy. I'd definitely recommend this dealership.

My experience was GREAT
I leased a 2015 Acura TLX in November 2015, the car needed a new strut right away! Service was great for that and I was impressed until I started having a noise in the heat system that sounded like a dryer vent flapping as well as transmission shifting hard and banging at stops. The car was in many times only to end up not repaired. After contacting Acura Canada and being told each dealer was private owned and it was up to them how they deal with the car I was less then satisfied! I was contacted by the Sales Manager and was told I would have to pay the loss if I wanted out of the car! I informed them that I would never buy another Acura due to there service and the point my car is still not fixed, his answer was that is my choice! Not impressed!

I usually do not write reviews but my wife and I had such an outstanding experience at Atlantic Acura I felt it was important for other car buyers to know as it definitely was not the cliche/intimidating car shopping experience. Despite dropping in shortly before closing, everyone we interacted with was patient, genuine and made us feel comfortable. You immediately notice the high bar they have for customer service. All our interactions with the team were highly professional, warm and genuine - especially JD from sales, who is truly a benchmark for his profession. JD went out of his way to make us and our dog :-) feel important and unpressured the entire time. I highly recommend JD and Atlantic Acura.

Have been getting service at Atlantic Acura since moving from Kelowna in 2016 and have always had great experience. Shawn and Amanda are always polite and helpful when I come in. Help me find the best fix/part for my car when I bring it in. Very trustworthy especially when I am thinking there is something wrong/needing replacement and they tell me it is just a simple/cheap fix rather then trying to take advantage. All the staff are friendly including the shuttle drivers and waiting is comfortable with TV, comfortable seats and refreshments. Easy online booking process and never have to wait longer then I think. Never hesitate to bring my car here. Haven't worked with the sales staff yet but hopefully they are the same. Also had a good experience with Harmony Acura in Kelowna so hoping it is a good cooperate culture. Keep up the good work !

My (3) year old TLX was no longer reliably re-starting from "auto-stop" so I booked an appointment expecting a pro-rated charge for battery replacement. I was right, the battery failed, and after a battery replacement, software update, overall checkout and car wash, the total charge: $0.00. What an unexpected surprise, clearly going above and beyond the defined warranty coverage. Exceptional service and much appreciated.

Atlantic Acura still has not resolved this issue, they sold me a vehicle with a 2 year mvi that truly does not pass, they will not refund my money and they say the vehicle has no issues. I took the vehicle to another reputable shop and the vehicle failed mvi. The purpose of my purchase was to provide a safe and reliable vehicle with no major issues for my wife and children, the salesman here promised this vehicle is ''great'' ''safe'' and ''reliable''. This vehicle fails mvi, is not safe, is not reliable as it leaks oil, has a broken transfer case that is dry of fluid, dangerous suspension etc. As anyone reading this would want: I want my money back or the money to pay an actual reputable mechanic shop to properly fix these issues. Atlantic Acura will not be touching this vehicle again as it was there twice now and is still not road worthy. Look else where if buying a used vehicle.
My 2011 MDX is the best car I’ve ever owned. Great experience purchasing and the service department is the best in the city. I would never own anything other than an Acura because of this dealership!
