Had the pleasure of dealing with Volkswagen Waterloo and I feel I've been turned off from ever wanting to deal with any dealership ever again. Luckily the car wasn't for myself or I would have just walked out laughing at how ridiculous the whole situation was. I heard stories of how amazing VW Waterloo use to be and only hear how things have changed over the years from their sales reps. Instead of offering to bring the sales manager right away into the conversation they like to hide behind closed doors and only walk into a conversation when they feel it's the right time for them to interject. I couldn't stage it better myself if I was in a Seth Rogen comedy. The take it or leave it mind frame set in front of a buyer is appalling and I hope that not every dealership out there is like that. I would give 0 stars if that was an option but I guess you can have one, as you were able to suck money out of someone I care for. Kudos Volkswagen Waterloo, I was considering buying my next car with you, but after my experience I will take my business else where.

Very happy with my VW purchase! My biggest pet peeve with dealerships is the pushy sales people...you will NOT find that here! I dealt with the GM David, to Mike in Sales and Shawn in Finance, everyone was great. I never once felt pressured to buy a car from them. I had to chase my application around a little bit, but great experience nonetheless. If I were closer to the dealership, I would definitely come back for service. I hope to continue to do business with them in the future.

Terrible customer service experience...made an appt for an inspection...thought you needed to go back to original dealership for it...explained that I normally get oil changes done at jiffy because its fast...I asked him what should have been done in terms of maintenance....he just kept saying that he wouldn't know because I hadn't brought it to them for the previous maintenance.....this man was extremely beligerant, condecending, unhelpful and unfriendly...I ended up walking out and making an appt with the Cambridge dealership for th next day (service in Cambridge was great...the service manager there told me what I needed and got it done) I honestly can't remember the last time I walked out on an appt. It was very upsetting.

Bought a 2019 Kia Sedona. Part of their bargaining chip was that they gave me winter tiers for the car along with the summers. The winters were given to me in yellow bags. I stored them but come winter time when I when to get them installed 2 for the tiers are unusable (safety) and the last 2 were not too good. I had to by 4 new tiers. So please check what they offer. They just want to sell a car. UPDATE. I was pleased to get a call from the Dealership and we were able to fins a solution that pleased me in the end. Good to know there are still good costumer service

Mike is a genuine VW enthusiast and it comes across when talking with him. He made the car buying experience very enjoyable. When I buy a new car I want to feel like I'm getting a fair deal and I want to enjoy the process; Mike checks both boxes. Waterloo Volkswagen has been a part of our Family for many many years. My father has had numerous volkswagen vehicles for over 30 years. He is 84 and just recently purchased a new vehicle again, from Robert. I had a 2011 Jetta and just traded it up for a beautiful new Passat! This dealership sold me a used car and charged me a new tire tax when the car had used tires... They got sued and one day I received a cheque with no apology stating they committed fraud and got caught stealing from their customer base. Their egos are so big they don't care about returning committed Volkswagen customers. This is your dealership in a nutshell: Bought my 2003 B5.5 Passat V6 from here. They wouldn't sell me an oil sensor plug for my oil pan, arguing an inisiting their computer was right and that it had an oil sensor when I was staring at the old one under my car and refused to take my money. I believe the guys name was Mike from parts. Lastly the day I drove my car off the lot the serpentine belt snapped. Every belt after had lost one rib within 100km many mechanics have filed pulleys trying to resolve the issue but every 25-50k km they kept breaking it wasn't until today we realized the alternator they put on the car had the wrong pulley this entire time. It's supposed to have 6 rib gaps but these careless idiots put one with only 5 leaving me stranded several times, spending hundreds on belts on the car without knowing the issue. I have called today once figuring the issue out to see if they will claim responsibility with the service record of belt being changed the day of purchase...They refused to honor Volkswagen's 13 yr rust warranty when my hood has deteriorated due to their lack of design. My old passat b5.5 1.8t got an engine swap under warranty for an over heading issue and they put an oil burning engine in forcing me to top up 1L of oil per 1k km inisiting that this is completely normal. These guys cut corners for a quick dollar. Not to mention steal from you without you knowing, and don't even know their own cars well enough to sell you parts or maintenance your vehicle. Also they promised a friend of mine their new golf in a week after four weeks the car still wasn't there. After charging a few thousand more than other dealers, they ended up pulling the sale and going somewhere else for cheaper and got the car within a few days. They need to admit their mistakes and fix the issue with my costs for the belts I will have to take action and send letters to VW Canada to get a new alternator, and rembursement for all the belts I've bought and service for trying to figure out the problem, not to mention loss of wages due to being stranded at the side of the road. Don't let these joker's scam you because all they want is your money and you at the side of the road coming back. Update: VW Waterloo owned by David Kraus refused to look at the car even though the record of the belt is there and the s/n of alternator is there. Called VW Canada they say dealers can do whatever they want they are independently owned which means they don't have to hold up their warranties or certifications. Aka they have zero accountibility for their brand. You'd think how badly their hurting after the scandals they may consider caring just a little bit about their customers ...

Horrible service, looked at a used car here and the salesman would txt me back right away about my questions, i bought the car and the tires were less than 50% tread and they didnt put new ones on, they didnt even change the oil either, the oil light came on a couple weeks after buying it, wont be back.

What an awful experience this dealership was. We walked in looking to test drive a Golf GTI, with the intent to purchase it that day if everything checked out. The salesman was very standoffish and unhelpful, and was very reluctant about letting us go for a test drive despite our spoken intent to purchase one. He relented and told us to "make sure you only go around the block, people don't buy these with a lot of miles on them." People don't buy cars they can't test, either, so we went to Guelph VW the next day. They were the complete opposite: cheerful, hospitable, and absolutely effusive about wanting us to go home satisfied whether we bought a vehicle or not. An hour later we purchased a 2015 Golf and will not hesitate to keep giving them our business in the future. Waterloo VW must be allergic to money or something, because they went out of their way to avoid a guaranteed sale.

I booked my car in for a basic oil change and headlight replacement. The appointment took an hour and a half and while there one of the service reps named Dave treated me very poorly right from the start barely acknowledging my presence, I am not sure if this is how he treats all customers but got the feeling it was because I am a woman and figured he didn't need to pay much attention to little old me. The fee for changing my headlight was the same in labor as the part cost which seems ridiculous. My car has 65,000 km and has been in multiple times to this dealership regarding noises coming from the back and each time I have been told it was nothing only to find out today after the warranty has expired that my entire brakes and rotters are shot which I'm sorry could not have happened that quickly and seems like it is something to do with the car lacking in quality. My boyfriend called the manager Brad who to be perfectly honest was both rude and unprofessional. I would steer clear of this dealership at whatever cost you can, they are snakes. Let's hope the Kitchener location has better staff.

Stopped by to shop around for a car and unfortunately had a very novice salesgirl. She took us for a ride and she got us to try one of their phone cables for charging and we almost couldn't get it out. The feel of the car felt very cheap and ultimately we did not go with a vehicle here. We asked what else she could do for us and she just asked what our bottom line was so I felt like I didn't learn anything about the car or its features. ** EDIT: To the owner's comment below - I wrote the review almost a year later so it was RE 2017.

I was a first time car buyer and a student out of town which made the whole process a little more challenging, but the salesman that I worked with, Roy, was fantastic! Roy would make sure that he sent out information to both me and my dad, who was helping with the "bargaining" and sales portion, and was so accommodating to our needs, while I was out of town. With continuous check ins and helping me find what I truly wanted, I had a great experience at VW Waterloo. We were super excited about purchasing our first and first new car from VW Waterloo. We’d been talking with Ming (Sales Agent) and Jared (Sales Manager) for a couple weeks and did a couple test drives to understand the car we wanted. The day we had set to make the deal to purchase the car, we’d been talking to them over the phone and text all day getting our final prices. We went for our appointment after work (6:30 pm) and when we arrived and started doing the paperwork, we were told that because it was the end of the month (May 31st) we had to have our insurance ready for the car for today even though they hadn’t mentioned this to us at any point. We wouldn’t have been taking the car that day, and they knew we wouldn’t be able to get insurance that late (it was around 7:30 by then), so it was a really strange experience. We were very frustrated at how this was handled and left the dealership. We then called Milton VW and made a deal over the phone for the same car for the same price and they said they’d never heard of needing insurance like that. No other dealership had. Not sure why this happened, we had a pleasant experience with Ming before all this but felt really disappointed that they would do this. Almost felt like they waited so long to not do the deal and make sure we couldn’t go to another dealership to do it as well. We did want to mention though that we had a really good experience with the receptionist although his name is lost on me right now. He was really genuine and helped us with the decision of our car.

From the moment I contacted them Waterloo VW was responsive and willing to make a deal. They didn't give me any of the usual round arounds you may have experienced buying a car before. Shawn Hagen was a pleasure to deal with. He got me the most I was offered for my vehicle and I felt that I wasn't low balled. He understood what I wanted and what other offers I was considering. He presented several alternatives and let me choose vs trying to shoe horn me into something they wanted. Purchased a 2012 Golf R from Mike. Vehicle would not go into first gear within one week of ownership. Blame was instantly put back on me without any sympathy from the sales or service department. Had to battle with them constantly to even consider putting through a warranty claim......which was only "partially covered" in the end. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Only concern is getting a vehicle sold and off the lot. Worst "customer service" experience I have ever had, and I have worked in customer service and for other dealerships in the past. Also see below from a canned response from the dealership. They clearly do not care about customer satisfaction in any way. This matter was escalated to the GM. No need to try and save face on a public forum with a canned reply. How about you give an honest reply to the public instead??

I want to start by saying that I love my 2017 VW Beetle Convertible however, I did not purchase this vehicle from Volkswagen Waterloo. I went to this dealership in the spring and spoke with Michael Raab. I was very upfront in telling him that I was shopping around for the best price and where I get the best price, is where I plan to purchase my new vehicle. We ended up getting the best price at Oakville Volkswagen (approximately $3000 cheaper). The sales person in Oakville was very helpful however, she forgot to show me how to use the wind blocker. This past Saturday, my husband and I decided to try it out. We couldn't figure out how to put it in the car and how it unfolded so we went to Volkswagen Waterloo for assistance. Initially the receptionist asked Michael Raab if he would help me. Michael looked over at me and told the receptionist "no, he would not help me". Then the receptionist asked Robert Vagacs if he would offer assistance. Robert came over but was very rude. He showed me how to open up the wind blocker but refused to show me how to install it in my vehicle. Robert made it quite clear, by his actions, that because I did not purchase my VW at his dealership, I was not welcome and would not be helped. My husband and I spent approximately 30 minutes in the parking lot trying to figure it out with nobody coming out to see if they could help. (They could have showed me in seconds). I didn't realize that if I had a simple question or something that would take literally seconds to show me, that I would have to drive all the way to Oakville to get assistance. This will not be the last vehicle purchase in my life time and I will tell everyone I know NOT to buy a car from them. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with how I was treated and will go somewhere else for regular maintenance and service.

The customer service and shuttle driver were all very polite, but I was disappointed by the service team. I brought in an older VW to be looked at as it has a glitch where several lights are on on the dash, which are very demonstrably incorrect, and two previous mechanics couldn't trace it down. On the phone when I booked in, they had promised to check a couple of points of the wiring as part of the initial assessment. They did not. In fact, it looks like all they did was plug in the computer, and then the called me up offering to replace all the (functioning) parts, some of which were already swapped out by the previous mechanics. They also failed to do two other minor unrelated fixes which I authorised and signed for when I dropped it off and they did the walk-around. They didn't bill me for them, but they didn't do the work requested. I also had a specific time slot booked for the service, and they sent me home because they said they couldn't get to it for a couple hours, and I just barely got it back in time before I had to go to work. In short, the service team was backlogged, and I think used my car to regain some time by only doing about 5 minutes of work before moving on and billing me. I wasted my money because I already knew what they told me from the other two mechanics.

Just got our Tiguan serviced at Waterloo VW. Yes I did come from Ancaster all the way here because I have not gotten good service at the Hamilton or Burlington Service Centre. Did you know that one of the many skilled mechanics came in 6 out of the top 10 mechanics in the Canadian Mechanics competition of 2013 . Yes and he works on the cars at Waterloo. Thats one reason I get my 3 VW's serviced here. Another one is the hospitality served onto the customers is outstanding. Yes Rob Vagacs did let me try out the new Jetta Hybrid and I took it for a ride today. They worked on our vehicle for a full day and it was a long wait but worth it. I got all of the problems fixed with the Tiguan, recall fuse and they even checked out everything. 99 % of the service today was covered under the warrantee which is outstanding. Its worth the drive to Waterloo VW. Thanks for Rob and the whole service department for everything.

Their is clearly an intention of fostering loyalty at this location because the staff are non-predatory, helpful, generous, and thorough. When I first purchased my 2013 Jetta, Justin Keyes was a pleasure to deal with. He did not make me feel pressured in the slightest; he gave me an excellent showcase of the vehicle's features; and he gladly worked out a good price for the car with me. He freely allowed me a test drive the car all the way to Elmira and back. I have also had great service at my subsequent visits to Volkswagen Waterloo. Brad Reinhart runs a tight (and generous) ship over in the Service and Parts department. I expected my service appointment today to be around $300 as I was receiving the typical 45,000km maintenance, some parts as a result of a recall, and they also agreed to put my summer tires back on. My bill came to less than half that price because they did not charge me for the recall (expected) or the tire change (unexpected), and there service was just a better price than I thought it would be. In addition, I received free wiper blades as part of their spring promotion and a coupon for a free car wash. This excellent service is the reason I will keep coming back in the future, even after the warranty has lapsed, and why my next Volkswagen or Audi will definitely be purchased there.

In 2011 I bought a new Jetta and in 2013 I traded that in for a 2013 Passat. It had more power and more room. I was overall happy about this car. Recently I started having issues with it. I have less than 60000 km on it. I mistakenly thought my warranty was 5 years 60000 km. The rear defrost rarely works. The heat when set to the floor while driving never warms up my feet and the poor people’s feet in the back freeze. My trunk is supposed to pop open when using the trunk release on the key fob. So I took my car in. I had no idea I was out of warranty. No warning was given to me that I was paying for these repairs. Upon returning to get the car I was informed that the rear defrost is working fine and that the heat works to Volkswagen specs. They did supposedly adjust my trunk but the next morning guess what... the trunk doesn’t pop open They did not drive the car to see if while driving heat was felt in the back. The car had been sitting in the sun for a couple hours before they got to it. I should not be surprised By the company’s fall back onto “it is within Volkswagen’s specs since when I bought the Jetta and discovered that its speedometer was out about 7 km/ hr and mentioned this, that I was told that very same thing. It is within specs and we will do nothing. Upon buying the Passat it also has about an 8 km/hr outage. Again they don’t care to make a vehicle run properly. My mother’s 2016 Jetta also has a speedometer outage. With the ugliness of what vw has gone through I’m really surprised they aren’t working hard to improve their image. Once this car is paid for I will never buy another vw. And I will share my experience of vw vehicles with anyone considering buying one.

Service department isn't helpful. They can't take a simple walk in for warranty. People need their cars fixed, they shouldn't be expected to wait 4 to 6 weeks for an appointment. Considering selling my vw because all of the dealerships in the area are like this. Also when I went in for my fuel pump recall, the tech didn't reinstall my rear seat properly. I had to do that myself. No pride in their work.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Not a single positive thing to say about my experience with Volkswagen and Volkswagen Waterloo. I bought a 2016 Golf R. I ordered the car in May to arrive in late June of this year. About three weeks before my estimated delivery I asked Jeritt, the sales manager responsible for my order, to check on the car to see if the status of my delivery was still the same. That same evening I had a voice-mail from the sales manager informing me there was a mixup with my order and that the car was no longer on the way. He then gave me the option to take a car I didn't want or to wait until next year's models where the price would most likely be increased. At this point the general manager, Dave had to step in to resolve the issue. After waiting to hear from Dave for a few days he told me they got lucky because the exact same car I ordered arrived at a dealer in the GTA. So I ended up getting the car I ordered however it took me reminding Volkswagen Waterloo about the order to get things going and it was also after them pressuring me to take something I didn't want. If I didn't say anything my car would never have arrived and once they realized they screwed up tried to make me take a car I didn't want. I should have known then to cut my ties with this dealership at that moment. Fast forward a couple months later to my first warranty issue. My right headlight starting allowing in a lot of moisture and condensation. When I first got this checked out at Volkswagen Waterloo the guy at the service desk started telling me that they can seal it in house and how in his experience VW corporate doesn't like to replace headlights?!?! After my face was clearly frustrated and wasn't accepting of that as an answer he asked the other service guy working. The second service guy was quick to disregard what the first one had said and said this would be no issue at all as the car only had 5000k. So please be careful as certain service advisors will give you different information in my experience. So when the light housing arrived I booked an appointment. I came in for 8am and since it was only going to take an hour I hung out while they did it. After an hour goes by one of the service personnel came to me to inform me when they tried turning the car on they realized the new housing didn't have any light bulbs.. so another hour goes by and my car is ready to go.. except when I'm driving later in the evening I get an error with the front adaptive lighting appearing out of nowhere. So I booked another appointment with VW waterloo and they informed me that when installing the light they missed one of the bulbs. So it took the mechanics at Vw waterloo three tries just to replace a headlight!!! Fast forward another month and more problems! My driver's side window squeals/whistles when above 120kms and it's only the one window. Then my rear view camera stopped working and my trunk wouldn't open despite multiple attempts at locking and unlocking. I am very skeptical of having their mechanics look at it as transferring light bulbs proved to be an issue. These cars are ticking time bombs with constant recall and quality issues. I expressed my concern with Dave about the fact that I've had this car for under 6 months and am already having to make multiple warranty claims which his mechanics can't seem to fix on the first try anyway. My understanding was that the dealership acted as a meditator for resolving customer issues like this one but that is not the case. I highly recommend you do your best to stay away from owning a volkswagen and specifically dealing with Volkswagen Waterloo.

Avoid these crooks! Sold me a used car few years ago, it had wire damage, near bald tires, and it was also missing the heated seat electrical components! So i had no heated seats, when I contacted them about the heated seat parts they accused me saying "your boots must have knocked them loose and then they disappeared?" LAUGHABLE! Anyways, I brought my car in to have a recall fixed. The job was done fast. When I picked up my car around 6 service was already closed so I had to get my keys from the front desk. The young man that helped me was so friendly and helpful. I forgot to ask his name. You get a lot of rude people these days in customer service, so when a younger individual is that polite - its nice to see! Also, i had lost a screw for my license plate so it was hanging off by only one screw and I had completely forgotten about it. I noticed that who ever was working on my car had fixed it for me. Very disappointed, I have been bringing my car to VW Waterloo for 6 years for every service, last august I took it to them for an issue where my car wasnt starting all the time so they put in spark plugs said that was the issue and sent me on my way. 2 days later it wasnt starting, had it towed to the dealership where they had it for 3 days finally said it was the ignition coil. So once again had it replaced all said and down $700+ fast forward a year and a month and a half later check engine light comes on so I take it into the shop and turns out it's the ignition coil again. So I ask vw what the warranty is on the work they performed last year and they said a year i asked if they would do anything to help me out seeing as how it's only 1 month out. They said nope. I will never bring my car back to VW waterloo. Also I will be letting everyone I know who has a vw know aswell.

I am not happy with the level of service or attitude there and have no desire to go back. Both of the last two service visits were not completed properly. And for this vehicle, there have only been two services done. The second last visit, they did not drain enough oil, added there standard amount of new oil, driving back from Ottawa I got Oil Level alerts 3 times, pulled over and checked it each time, of course it was at night. Turns out the oil level was too high. They drained some when I went back but were not apologetic and did not think it was anything to worry about. Last service, they rotated the summer tires ( just had them put back on in May). When I asked why they did that, they replied it was part of the service they do at that mileage. Note the bill was twice as much as the first visit. Driving home, I got a tire pressure alert. Pulled into a garage and had them checked, pressure was ok so I reset the TPS system. I am guessing they did not do that when they rotated the tires. I have not contacted VW Waterloo regarding this event as I expect I would get the same type of response.

Continual problems everytime we have been to VW Waterloo. Sales staff were rude, and had to insist that we only delt with the Sales Manager, who was helpful, but service dept made error upon error every time we visited. Most recent problem is that I booked in to have my snow tires changed, only to find out that they had not ordered them in when I arrived at my scheduled appointment, so they could not do them that day, wasting time my once again. I would not recommend either buying or servicing any vehicle at VW Waterloo. Thankfully I work in Toronto regularly so use VW Downtown Toronto to service both on my VW's and they do a great job.

I am known to be an online shopper, and I think every mailman in our city has delivered a package to our home at least once lol but I never in my wildest dreams thought that I'd be making such a large purchase over the phone but let me tell you Mike was absolutely amazing! so confident, extremely professional and very enthusiastic so he made our decision an easy one. Terrible experience. My Girlfriend and I were looking to test drive a Golf. Walked in and passed 4 employees who were not willing to give us the time of day. Finally one looked at us long enough that he figured he should ask "is there something I can do for you?" After telling him we wanted to look at a Golf he took us to look at his personal vehicle! We cannot buy your car, so why not show us one we may be interested in? When we finally convinced him we wanted to test drive one he told us "it's a new car so don't put too many kilometres on it; maybe just 2." Good grief. It only takes a short drive for me to tell if I'm going to like the vehicle or not; and too bad for them because we loved it. Definitely going to look at a different dealership though because there is absolutely no way we will ever be returning here. Cannot believe the disrespect we received, or the attitude we had to deal with.

Best dealership I've ever been to I honestly can not say enough good things about this dealership. I frequently recommend this dealership if the topic of conversation arises. Approximately 7 years ago I purchased a pre-owned certified 2003 GTI 1.8T from this dealership. Not only has the car out performed my expectations, but the service and parts counter at this dealership is incredible. I do a lot of my own service on the car, and am always impressed with the knowledge and free advice I can get from the parts counter. Not to mention I've never had to wait more than a day for parts to be available. When buying parts they will often inquire about the job I'm performing on the car and mention clips or seals and fasteners for the job that may need replacing that I hadn't necessarily considered. When replacing the timing belt/water pump I was even able to purchase an aftermarket, made in Germany, cast iron impeller water pump from this dealership. When the job is beyond my capability or desire to do, the service here is excellent. Explaining any options there may be in the service job, and recommending logical preventive maintenance items that would be cost effective to perform at the same time. I've always been pleased with the work I've had done here. I've dealt with other (non-volkswagen) dealerships in the past for service, only to inspect the work later and find sub par workmanship or even damage to components surrounding the area worked on the car. During the pre-owned certified warranty period I had the car in for a few electrical items, quite a bit of front suspension work, exhaust flex pipe (which is one piece with the catalytic converter), heated mirror glass, window switches, possibly some other things, completely hassle free. The flex pipe job alone would have been over $1000 due to the cost of the part... Again, completely hassle free. The salesman I bought the car from initially no longer works at this dealership, but I do remember being able to negotiate some cosmetic repairs to the car, as well as a new rim that was badly curb marked. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership.

I purchased a car from these folks at the end of May and was generally happy with the experience with the sales person. The financial manager was a different story, who insisted I sit with him for an hour when signing the paper work to try and up sell me on every addon imaginable. Even when I said no multiple times he was very pushy. He also told me that my credit application would be bolstered by VW's outlandish Gap insurance. I had to chase them down for confirmation of my credit application and then it was insinuated again that gap insurance was a condition of my approval. Needless to say it wasn't. I love my new car and working with the sale team was excellent but the financial manager just came off as a greasy salesman for my liking. I won't return.

We recently bought a 2022 Atlas from Ming here, and the experience was all over to be honest. Ming was good, so the critique is not against him. People were friendly at the start, but once we sat down to sign papers things started to go down hill. For starters, we had the keys to our new vehicle in the office, but then someone came in and grabbed them. The manager came back, we signed the papers to purchase the Atlas (with the vin on the paper and everything), and not 5 minutes later was told someone else had ‘purchased’ it. During my conversation with him I had asked if there were any incentives we could have, but he said no as the demand was high and if we didn’t buy it, someone else would. I realize now that’s exactly how we were looked at my the manager and financial rep; we were replaceable by some other person to purchase a vehicle. So by this point the manager said he would make things right and find us the same vehicle for us, and to his credit he did within a few days. We also were taking the plates from our current vehicle (but not trading in) to plate this vehicle, but because the plates were in my name and not my wife’s (who would be signing for the Atlas) apparently there were some issues on pickup day. We were not asked about this ahead of time to verify whose name it was in, and we were even charged an additional $30+ to cover admin fees on this. I asked if they could just swallow that price and cover it, but they wouldn’t. As respectful as the financial rep was, it was also pretty cut and dry that we were just another number on the books. Would I come back here? Only if they had a vehicle I wanted, certainly not because of the experience. It was just a stereotypical car dealer.

Very bad experience with service department. Took the car in for AC condenser replacement, they damaged one AC pressure line, took the car to a different shop and they fixed it. They confirmed that AC pressure line was damaged at the time condenser was replaced. They refused to pay for the damaged part. Very unprofessional folks, especially Brad Reinhart, the service manager. Will never take our car at WV Waterloo for repairs. Stay away and save your money.

haven't been there personally but i watched someone get t boned outside of there in i assume a test drive and the guys from inside came running out and had the door off before the firetruck even showed up good people (this is a few months old just remembered this now)

For anybody who’s shopping for a new or used Vw this is the place to go!! I only every write negative reviews on google. But between the service, help and advice from this Volkswagen location. There is absolutely nothing I can say that is negative about this location. No pressure environment, professional and always willing to help out in anyway they can. My words don’t even start to do them justice... All in all, I really appreciate VW Waterloo, and all there staff has done. Made a first time car buying experience one to remember. A big thank you to the sales, and finance guys for making it happen.
