I was in a pretty bad accident at the end of January which ultimately forced me into the car buying market. I was getting very frustrated and was finding it very difficult to get into car buying mode. S.A.S.S was my last stop after a very frustrating weekend and I am very happy I decided to stop by before they closed or else I don't think I would have been so successful in finding a car. My favourite part was how not pushy they are. It was a nice relief to not feel pressure to buy something when I had so much else going on. I ended up leaving with a beautiful 2015 Subaru Legacy that I plan to have for a long time, or until I am ready to go back to S.A.S.S for my future Subaru WRX. On July 27 2020 my son (17) almost lost his life on the 7/8 express way in Kitchener heading into work when the front passenger tire blew out losing control of the vehicle!! My Son (17) purchased an Audi S4 from S.A.S.S. Auto and it was the most HORRIBLE experience EVER!! When we went to see the vehicle I mentioned to Talib Shamji (owner) that it needed 4 new tires. He said the garage would have a look and see and It would have a safety inspection done on the vehicle. 3 days later the vehicle was ready for pick up on June 22 2020 with the same 4 tires on the vehicle. On June 25 the vehicle was towed from Kitchener to Guelph S.A.S.S. Auto for a water pump and thermostat. Talib Shamji had the vehicle for 10 business day which had nothing to do with COVID, parts were in stock everywhere. I called Audi Waterloo they told me it would take 4.5 hrs to install the water pump and 3.5 for the thermostat., not sure why they had the vehicle for 10 business days. On July 9 2020 we picked up the vehicle again from S.A.S.S. Auto. That night my son worked 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. At 7:30 am the vehicle started to over heat again on his way home, we then had to tow the vehicle again to a different garage to find out the Talib Shamji IN HOUSE mechanic didn't connect the rad hose WOW!! On August 3 2020 my son (17) almost lost his life on the 7/8 express way in Kitchener heading into work when the front passenger tire blew out losing control of the vehicle!! We again towed the vehicle for a 3rd time to Fowler Tire on Fairway road in Kitchener awesome garage the owner of Fowler Tire indicated that the tires SHOULD NOT have passed safety. I call Talib Shamji to tell him about what happened and he said what do you want me to do...making up excuses putting the blame on my son. My son drove the vehicle for a total of 28 days max!!!!! Talib Shamji does not return my calls and will not provide the safety certificate that THEY DID IN HOUSE!! Talib Shamji told me that the car was at a garage getting the safty when we purchased the vehicle had no idea that it was in house!!!! Pictures added of tires *****Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!! S.A.S.S. Auto***** Very Shady!!! Read Mark Johnston review below mark johnston 1 review 3 months ago- i just want to say i was really excited to buy my porsche cayenne turbo from these guys but when i purchased vehicle with two blown control arms and oil leaks in three seperate locations!! also they had sold me this vehicle certified. when i called owner to discuss matter he said no problem they picked up vehicle and told me he would fix these issues. when i got vehicle back i soon discovered that the oil leaks were not fixed he paid for the small repair bur did not pay for the big one which cost me 750. i would not recommend these people. they cannot be trusted what so ever. i tried to reach out to owner about these last repairs he refused to respond to me. no to mention i traded a prestine mercedes convertible roadster sl550 and they wanted 4000 on top of trade in which i managed to get down to 2000 these people are the true definition of shady !!!!! the only descent person was my sales guy larry

We recently purchased a 2008 Lexus sc 430 We took the car out for a test drive,discovered the drivers door had a check arm noise. So on purchase,Talib went out of his way,replaced the part with a new Lexus part. Very impressive.We brought the car home and noticed a dent in the rear bumper.Again He went out of his way and repaired it Very comfortable dealing with him,no pressure and he is very knowledgeable. An absolutely first rate experience. The owner, his son Talib and the sales associate Larry were all top notch people that went out of their way to help me out. Their shop maintenance man (John) is a genius with automobiles... he knows more about cars during his young existence than I know from my entire lifetime of experience. You must remember, however, that these are USED cars. There is no warranty on them past the end of the safety certification after you've purchased the vehicle. (note: regardless of the fact that they are under no legal obligation to help out after the expiration of the safety certification, I've heard how they still try to assist customers) If what you want is a totally reliable vehicle with no issues whatsoever, I suggest you either buy the extended warranty or go buy a new Toyota/Lexus or Honda/Acura. However, if you truly love the driving experience, desire a well kept, fine handling car and understand that there will be maintenance costs associated with that purchase, then this is an excellent place to shop for your next vehicle. The vehicles are well maintained, excellent examples of the marque and the service is exemplary. I thoroughly enjoyed my buying experience at SASS and would recommend to anyone with a passion for fine automobiles to purchase their next car here.

Wonderful experience! Car buying is a tough decision to begin with, but the team at SASS is here to make it as easy as possible. I was looking for specific vehicle which I had inquired about via email. Larry responded promptly and gave me a few details about the vehicle before I decided to come have a look. Upon visiting Larry introduced himself and showed me to the showroom. The facility doesn't appear very large from the outside, but they easily over 150 cars stored indoors. Upon looking at the vehicle, no questions asked I was given the keys to take the car for a spin. The vehicle was already priced aggressively to the market, however I inquired on having a set of winters thrown in the deal. Larry said he would do what he could. The next morning we had agreement. After care was great Larry exchanged texts with me and detailed all of the next steps to me. A couple days later as we went to pick up the vehicle not only was it detailed once more, but they went the extra step and had the winters installed and road ready. Paper work was already preprepared and I was off within 15 mins. These guys really go above and beyond, I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a used car.

Bought a car from this private dealership and had a positive experience through and through. Talib was professional, answered all questions and e-mails, maintained proper covid-19 protection measures (such as social distancing, wearing a mask, cleaning the car before and after I test drove) and was super friendly. He detailed the car for a second time before I came to pick it up, even though it had already been cleaned and detailed, specifically because I requested it due to covid. There were also some minor scuffs, scratches and stone chips on the body which I asked could possibly be looked at and addressed again before pickup, and they were. I even made a request for the white Ontario license plates if possible to which he replied, "It'll be the first thing I ask them when I go to the licensing office." I'm a perfectionist and Talib handled my every request with no questions asked! SASS Auto has a customer for life!

I purchased 2015 Subaru Legacy from them for my son. I picked it up on Sunday from Guelph and drive it to Waterloo (25 min drive). As soon as we get off the car my wife come around and noticed a big chip and crack on the windshield on the passenger side just below the wiper blade. It was my biggest mistake to trust the cheaters at SASS Auto and not checking the car thoroughly before picking it up. I took pictures and send them right way to the manager Scott. Then called him as well. He denied right away that it wasn't there. He was saying safety wouldn't pass with the crack on the windshield. I do agree but unfortunately, safety inspections are manipulated by all used car dealers. According to them it happened during my 25 min drive. I knew nothing happened during that period. They not only cheated with me but made my liar. My message to Scott is that your tongue will be stiff one day when you won't be able to talk because you lied to me and definitely to my other customers. Mr. Iqbal (the owner), you along with your team cheated with me for few hundred dollars. On this Friday, I pray to Allah you will lose many many many more times money than you cheated with me and probably with many others too. I never curse people. This is the first time in my life I am cursing you and your team because you took advantage of my trust to you. InshaAllah Allah will accept my prayer. May Allah punish you in this life and hereafter for cheating and make you realize the severe punishment in this life. Ameen. ****Response to Mr. Iqbal**** It seems like you care more about Google review than customer satisfaction. You made the offer to make your Google review better than to satisfy me as your customer. If you would care about customer satisfaction then you would have give the offer to my son the day he took the car to you. I was hoping to hear from you some kind of settlement on that day but you told my son that we did the damage. I was extremely dissatisfied with your comment to my son. The windshield damage (see picture) required a huge impact which is impossible not to get noticed for any driver. During my drive from Guelph to Waterloo no such impact happened. But it is very unfortunate that your comment not only made me a liar but also a cheater. Why should I take the blame which I didn't do? In your response, you describe as you have done me a big favor. Most used car dealer would provide that service. You did it simply to sell your car. Yes, Scott did his best to sell the car and make his boss happy. I had a great communication with Scott until picking up the car. But since then he took a nose dive not responding to my text even. Again, please don't mention about the safety inspection. You know the loop holes better than I do. Since the damage existed (someone in your facility definitely knew), my intention was that you took care of the damage. However, your comments to my son and Scott's nose dive didn't leave me any room to except to write a negative review about the situation.

Made my first grown-up purchase with the assistance of Scott from SASS Auto and probably the smoothest process I could have ever hoped for. Had my eye on a specific car, told Scott about my credit situation and he worked his charm with getting me approved for a rate that I couldn’t find anywhere else. Not to mention, he walked me thru every step as best he could, and I picked up the car within 3 (business days) of setting foot in their dealership. I was searching for my dream car. Had about 6 lined up to look at and SASS was my 1st stop. Turned out they had 3 to choose from and I found what I had been looking for. After taking possession of the vehicle I found a few issues that I hadn't previously noticed and one that developed after about 3 days. Iqbal was very apologetic for the fact that they had been missed and even took parts off another vehicle in stock so that mine could be repaired. The other issues were also handled. Great service! Horrible experience! Today i went to go test drive a 2014 Subaru brz. I love this car and was so excited to go for the test drive. But as soon as i got to S.A.S.S auto scott was getting all my information taking my id asking for my sin #. He was trying to see if the bank would approve me for financing considering i am 20 years old and was not sure if i would need a co-signer. He then gave me a sheet to sign asking for access to my account. I was told it was just to see if i would be approved for financing. But after reading the sheet i did not know the company that i was supposed to be allowing access to view my account. Now it may not have been a scam but it sure felt like it. I refused to sign considering i only went to go test drive the car, I was not sure if i even wanted to buy the car. I was overly pressured the whole time and did not even test drive the car due to me walking out. There were also atleast three photocopies of peoples ID spread out on his desk. I am hopping I'm not added too that. Im very upset on how this visit went considering how much i thought i wanted this car and having the whole experience feel like im trying to give away personal information.

My wife and I bought 2 vehicles from SASS Auto Group recently and it was a great experience. The original plan was to buy a 650i Cabriolet as a trade in for my S5, but thanks to Iqbal's salesmanship and willingness to make a deal, we left with a Rangerover Sport as well. We love both the BMW and Landrover and are very happy with the purchase. Iqbal and Talib were very quick to respond to any questions or issues and are also very knowledgeable about the cars which is surprisingly a rare quality among luxury car dealerships. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a high end used car at a reasonable price. For a car lover, their inventory is a joy to look at and who knows, you might end up leaving with something completely different than what was planned or even with two cars, but you definitely wont regret it.
