Made a deal for an SUV with Wayne in person he told me I would get winter tires, rust proofing and an extra warranty. The day I was going to sign everything I got an email that he lowered my rate but he didn’t tell me it didn’t include the deal we talked about previously which was with winter tires, extra warranty and rust proofing so when I got there to sign the papers first he wasn’t there so I was taking to someone else. I was then bombarded with the news that my deal wasn’t the same but they didn’t say anything until I asked! They wouldn’t give me the same deal because they said they would be losing money if they did and decided to bring two other exact same SUVs in for me to look at and the exhaust sounded terrible!! Wayne is not a good sales person at all! I introduced him to the people with me and he would call them completely different names! Just watch where you go, take someone with you because you won’t know if your getting screwed over with how they try and make it like your worries are all in your head. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I purchased my first car (2009 mazda 6)from them 2years a go when I turned 18 all my paper work including the safety said the car had around 124000km but when I picked up the car with no gas in it and the tpms light was on I had to take it back less than a week of owning due to a leaky tpms sensor that they knew about because I asked them about it during my test and she said she will take care of it but they didn't (repaired under warranty) I had to filled it with gas first trip in it not my first choice I then took it home and noticed it had around 150000km I called them right away to get this all figured they got all the paper work updated but when I requested a better price on the vehicle or to opt out of the contract they said that can't happen due to the fact I already agreed to buy it for the original price even tho that price was based on the 120000km odm reading now that I work at subaru I asked the used car manager and he said I could have gotten out of it I was not happy with riverside auto taking advantage of a young man who trusted them I don't recommend buying from them at all worst experience ever thanks for nothing river side auto

Simply the best used car dealership in the Guelph area. Barry and his staff have not been at this location "forever" by accident. You can always find fault when buying a used car and those who have, tend to write online reviews. I purchased an 09 Cube from Riverside last fall and the car has been perfect. Lest you think this is an anomoly, this is my fourth (in over 20 years) from Riverside. If you have a problem, talk to Barry. He has always looked after me.

Went in during their RV Sales Event, told "Papa" we were looking for a "pop-up trailer as first time buyers" and he showed us a few hard travel trailers... I told him again, we are looking for a simple pop trailer around $8,000-$10,000. He then asked "Used? Can you just buy it then"? I said yeah, potentially. Then he told us they were "short staffed" so they might need a minute to show us anything. Legit stood outside in the hot sun for 20 minutes with my Wife and 2 year old son in plain sight of 6 employees all drinking their coffees... we clearly weren't important enough to put a coffee down so we left. Won't be returning, clearly. Update: Went to CampMart in Cambridge and bought a brand new tent trailer. Fantastic service, made it super easy and comfortable.

They were willing to let me take the car to my mechanic prior to buying it (demonstrating that they stand behind their vehicles). They gave me a great price, and Tatiana was wonderful. They had my car ready to pick up a day early, and when I arrived, they had fixed up some scratches in the paint (and they actually provided me with a small bottle of paint as well), and had bugged out the car. They also ensured that all the fluids were topped up. The pick up was smooth, and the salesmen are great. I would highly recommend this place!!!

I feel compelled to do this to give everyone honest feedback We bought our trailer at the RV show in 2019 A 2020 brand new mpg 2550 RB.. we love the trailer and it is perfect to suit our needs of course being brand new things go wrong and that is understandable considering the pandemic we brought it in last November 2020 to get warranty work done after the season was over Nothing really major some trim some other minor things and needed the slide topper awning fixed because it was sagging with water due to incompetent installation We just got back from our first weekend camping and already the trim is peeling off that they supposedly fixed clearly it was just a Band-Aid put on it the slide out topper that I was specifically told from rob who is no longer there conveniently “ we tightened the slide topper and it sat outside for three days with rain no issues” we’re his words to me Well guess what we had one night of rain and the slide topper sagged so bad it was sitting on top of the slide out and I believe it actually has a rip in it now which I will have to pay someone else to fix ! So much disappointment and BS from a used car dealership that is selling trailers in my opinion When we purchased this trailer we we’re told the story of Big Bear and how he purchased a trailer once and got terrible service so he thought he will open his own dealership and give people good service.... too bad he’s not around to fulfil his oath because his team is clearly getting him down Just want everyone to know it is easy to sell something especially an RV during these times but before you buy think about how knowledgable is the dealer how long have they been around how well will they be able to fix things when they break or go wrong because they will that’s just part of the deal My opinion just stay away there is another dealer that sells exact same trailers about an hour away that is where I now go to get work done even though I have to pay for it as I don’t even want to call there and ask about any more warranty The sale.... SATISFIED the service..... ???????? TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED

The salesperson was quite pushy on the first day trying to force me into making a choice within minutes but once we were past that I worked with the financial representative, Amy, to find the car I was looking for. Glad to say she was very willing, and would go above and beyond to help me find the vehicle I was looking for. If you are interested in getting a vehicle from their dealership, I would advice it, even if they currently don't have the vehicle on the lot.

It was my first time financing the car. As I took it for a test drive I did a thorough check of everything. Oil was golden, coolant great, brake fluid clean and crisp. Tires needed to be replaced as they were bald, severely cracked and belts were visible... brakes were in need of replacing as well. I went to pick up my car, and he had mentioned they replaced the brakes, detailed it inside and out, and shined the tires. I did yet another thorough check of the vehicle and noticed the tires were the same, unsafe tires! I had mentioned to the salesman these tires are not safe, have no tread left and need to be replaced. He looked at the tires himself and said they were unsafe too. We went to the manager who out right said no, he was not replacing them. On top of my $16,500 purchase, I had to pay another $200 for tires. I also had a 30 day, 1500km warranty. I had noticed a clunking in the suspension a few days later so took it back. He was going to charge me to look at it! I took it to the dealership instead to find MY CAR SHOULD NOT HAVE PASSED SAFETY. Broken coil springs in the back was the safety concern. On top of that my front right strut was leaking, sway bar links broken, and I needed an oil change already.. they took my good oil and put crap bubbly oil that was the WRONG WEIGHT OIL!!!!! I took all of this back to the manager and he out right laughed at me and said "what are you trying to do, break us?" No. I expected to purchase a vehicle in safe working order and not be scammed over!! Never buy from there!!

We purchased a Nissan vehicle from Riverside Auto. We quickly found out that the Nissan towing capacity would not tow our RV trailer. Barry the owner of Riverside stepped up to the plate and allowed us to RETURN the Nissan and upgrade to a Durango,..suficient to tow our RV. We found the Service Dept. "Jordan" to the salesperson "Terry" along with the credit mrg. "June" and up to the Big Boss Barry, very professional and you felt a part of the Riverside Family. Highly recommend. I purchased a vehicle from Riverside Auto on Elmira rd at the end of January, needless to say i have been unhappy with it since! I have had multiple issues with my vehicle which took a week to actually buy and pick up from them and ive had to bring it back to them about 4 times! everytime they repaired my vehicle something else happened to it! With all the nice weather we have had i decided to turn on my A/C which of course did not work! so I called the dealership because i bought the extended warranty.... unfortunatly it wasnt the right warranty! this was not covered although i was under the impression that i had the better warranty that covered everything! So i called the dealership up and wanted to speak with the manager Barry, I have never spoken to someone so rude in my life not only did he argue with me about the date i purchased my vehicle but than said i have no reason to be unhappy with them and that he would set this situation right! i told him i did not want to be paying out of my pocket for something that was supposed to be working when i purchased it! His response was that i should have tested it when i bought it, which i did in the beginning of Feb and of course it was blowing cold air because it was WINTER! He then told me that he would make sure i was happy with everything and that if i brought it in he would also lend me a vehicle to get back to work/ home in... I decided to give him another chance thinking that maybe he did want to set things right... until the next day when he called me while i was at work to tell me the part for my A/C was all rotted out and needed to be replaced and that my warranty didnt cover it! which I already knew and previously told him about. There is no way that in less than 3 months part of my A/C rotted out of the vehicle! that was like that when i bought it and i explained that to him to which he did not argue, he than carried on about how i want something for free just like everyone else and I got so upset arguing with him on the phone about it that i just hung up!!! NEVER will i ever buy a vehicle from them again!!! I cannot believe how they can justify taking advantage of people like this! #RIPOFF#SCAM#WORSTDEALERSHIPINGUELPH!#HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!

Horrible service. We made an appointment (with Zack) and asked for 2 vehicles ready and accessible- I was ready to buy cash. Both cars were in a snow bank, the salesman I had an appointment with was "busy". The first car I tried they said had a new battery turned over once then died. The second had to boost it, took it for a test drive, brakes needed done and an engine light on. They were so disrespectful I was absolutely discussed. I thought prices were decent, until I found out that none of their vehicles are safetied as advertised until you put a deposit on. They told me the vehicle is was interested in needed warranty on it which they couldn't give me a time line on but others previous to me had been waiting 8 weeks and still weren't sure when they would get done. PLUS the car had been on their lot for almost 2 years. Seriously, you've had the car for almost 2 years and didn't even look at it for a safety? Or recall? My best advice DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Because they have no problem wasting it.

I would Not recommend this place to anyone! They're all crooks and the price is a lot more than other places, like $5,000 more plus another $5,000 for scamming. The person who sold me the car falsely told me that I had no choice but to get Rust proof. I clearly said i didn't want it. Also they sold me insurance that i didn't want, I already have insurance, why would I want to pay extra for nothing on a new car? These people rushed through the paper work and did not explain what they were charging(ripping me off) me of and made me sign the papers really quickly. I finally brought all these papers to a better, honest dealership and they explained to me what had happened and what I was paying extra for which I did not even needed or intended to have. I am very upset, dissatisfied, and very angry at what had happened. Eventhough you ripped me off and I fell for your trap, i hope you are very happy for stealing from me. I 100% would not recommend this dealer place to anyone or have to go through what i went through and am dealing with.

They hook me up with a very high interest rate as I was new, so basically I got ripped off. I paid almost double for my car. This is the last place on earth, I will go.

I really don't get the RV Service side of this company. Counter service rep takes a "post-it" note and writes down what you need to get done on your RV. I ask to get called with estimate and/or when ready, and never a call. I have to call them. Once I asked why they didn't call me when my RV was ready for pick up, service rep said they lost my phone number ! Like I said...I really don't get the RV service dept of this company.

On Jan 15th I bought a 2010 Civic with 165 XXX on the ODO from riverside. They were asking top dollar (around $9000) and I was assured by salesman Andrew that all the problems with the car would be fixed upon sale, therefore I assumed that it was a well kept car. This was soooo far from the truth. The car came to me with the original air filters(they were completely black!!!!!), two dead struts ($1000 job), blown speakers, and about $900 worth of maintenance needing to be done to it. Absolutely shady. Flat out lies in order to sell cars. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

But so far they had to charge me an extra 127 for a sticker they didn't include in price, the USB port was broken and now trunk latch. All smaller things but making my first car experience sour. If you are looking to be dazzled by an incredibly modern and fancy showroom that will give you free coffee and muffins/snacks, go somewhere else and buy an overpriced car. Riverside Auto is a standard small sales site, nothing fancy, just simple and clean. I knew what car I was looking for, I called ahead explained some bruises in my credit history they took my info over the phone and was approved. At this point I planed an appointment that afternoon, when I arrived the car was waiting, out for a test drive, then negotiated some minor add-ons and sold. From arrival to finish was under an hour. I shopped around and feel they offered the best price while comparing the exact same car to about half a dozen other places.

I recently came into Riverside with my hubby to purchase a SUV, first time being there everyone was very friendly,nice line up of vehicles. until we got in the office with a business manager they call Emily. she had her feet up on her desk as we came in... it was disgusting. She didn't talk with us, she talked down to us. she was rude, crude, not professional in any manner, looking at many other reviews it seems Emily is just a very rude individual. she had her nose in her cell phone the entire time. I cannot believe that is acceptable behaviour. I will never step foot in that place again, unless i know she is not working there. she made both my husband and i feel so uncomfortable. just gross.

We sent our 10 year old pop up trailor in for service as it was extremely difficult to crank up and down. We required a new crank clutch assembly. Our trailor was literally taken apart and reassembled. Works like a charm. Job well done. I have to tell you. I consider this business to be very crooked. I was looking at a tent trailer for $8000. Asked about the extra fees. They were going to charge $1100 for an administration fee and $1500 to look the camper over. So I phoned my RV place at Leisure Trailer Sales in Windsor, and asked what there administration fee was and to look over a trailer if you bought it. Guess what, they said $200 for administration fee and looking over the trailer is free if you buy one from them. What crooks they are Leisure Trailer $200, Big Bear $1600. Save yourself $1600 people. Go to an honest dealer!

Horrible customer Service! Went to test drive a 2015 RAM 1500 and was greeted by some punk wearing a tupac tshirt that was rude from the start. The truck was in the back being washed and i asked to see it. A different sales person took me to the back and said here's the truck and left and went back to the front. Waited in the back for 10 minutes for the punk to return to say what do you think of the truck? I liked the truck and I asked to test drive it and he responded with "unless you have a full stack of cash you can't test drive it". The truck also smelled like WEED. I walked out because i don't do business with shady people.

I started off very pleased with Riverside Auto Sales. This was actually my second purchase after buying a car there in 2004. I had some problems before (salesman telling me a clunking sound during test driving was just because it was cold, when it really was a broken strut mount) but brushed that incident off because the salesman isn't a mechanic and it would have been fixed during the safety examination. They also helped me buy the first car on my own. Zac was great. He actually listened to what I was looking for instead of pushing cars I didn't want, like at other dealerships. When it came to financing I could have just gone to the bank but they helped get me sorted out with a good rate. That was where the quality service ended. It took them extra time to get the car ready for sale, which I didn't mind because my old car still ran fine and it had been the Mother's Day weekend. I only started getting upset when they started lying about calling me and saying my voice mail was full. They forget that phones and providers keep records of all activity and it is easy to get. Luckily I did not trade in my old car as finally after getting it I got a call a couple days later with them saying they messed up the paperwork and the car was actually not in my name and therefore was not insured. So, in order to get everything fixed I had to drive all the way from Ottawa and return my rental car (and back for business in my old car with no AC) on the Friday before the long weekend. With being a repeat customer who just bought a $14,000 car you might think that after these mistakes they would try to figure out a way to try to keep me happy in some way, but they did nothing for me other than sit around for over an hour while they fixed the mistake and offer to put a $10 gas in my old car. I wanted to complain about the all the costs of missing work for a day and the gasoline needed for these trips, but even if I had it would have fallen on deaf ears as the manager "mysteriously" decided to not be there when I arrived. I don't care how well the car runs. I will not be going back!!!
