I took my Chevy Equinox’s in for an exhaust manifold, was told by a high school kid over the phone that they had replace the catalic. So I went in and yes the manifold was fixed but the cat was fine , never touched!!! After getting a read out from The mechanic I realized their front desk had know experience in this job. I asked for my change which was only $18 and the kid asked me what the bill was . I said that’s you ur invoice! She then gave me back $8 and walked away without giving me my key. I asked for it and went my car. My gas tank was open and cap off. And engine light was reset. 2 days latter the same engine light code came up, so I went to another shop had it fixed and they asked where I had it done. The light never came back and I’ll never go back. Murray is a good guy and the Shop Rocked when he ran it!!! Now it’s just kids that are relaying on machinery. Computers and have know experience!

Only good employee was FIRED because he spoke the truth about the business. Murray's Garage is a dump filled with used cars which should not be resold unless they are fixed up. Murray, who claims to be a mechanic, knows nothing about what he's doing. When he sold a car to my mother, not only did he take the BRAND NEW TIRES off the vehicle when he took it into the shop to "fix it up", he also put bare tires on it. They were so worn down, my mother blew a flat in all four tires within a week of purchasing the vehicle. When the issue was brought to Murray's attention, he proceeded to call my mother "estatic" and told her it wasn't his problem. She then went on to tell him the other issues with the car and he brushed her off, telling HER to fix it. As someone who has worked in the costumer service region, I can say, the way he spoke and treated my mother was horrible. If I were in his place, I would have been ASHAMED. You should NEVER treat your customers with such disrespect. The car had NO windshield washer, BARE tires with NO traction, and SCRATCHES on the front of the vehicle. Murray is disrespectful and cares only about himself and his money. He does not care about his costumers and his costumer service is disgusting. If you like used, broken, overpriced cars, then I guess you should shop at that poor excuse for a business. Not only are you wasting YOUR time but also your hard earned money on a car that will break down in a week.

Looking for a used car we heard nothing but great things about Murray's Garage (mostly from friends that use the mechanics and hold it in high regard). We found a car that interested us and made an appointment to take it for a test drive. Unfortunately as we arrived we saw another group driving the car out of the lot. Not a great start, but given the state of Covid and masks it was an understandable mix up. Unfortunately the car was purchased before we had a chance to make our own offer. Usually this would not be a 5 star story, but to the credit of the shop they hustled to find a similar car, after showing us some options they found a car that exceeded all expectations. Due to the mix up up they gave us a great price, and fixed it up so that it looks and feels new. As in most things you learn more from a customer service with how they treat you after a mistake then when everything goes according to plan. Murray's delivers. If you are anywhere in the Guelph region feel confident that this will be a store that treats you well, and will go the extra mile to make up for an understandable mistake.

I spent 4 months looking for the exact Hyundai Accent I wanted, and ran into a lot of bad shady caresalesmen in the process. Whenever I found a good car, I would check the google reviews to make the decision to see it in person. When I found the amazing car and saw the reviews for Murrays, I knew I had to make the 2 hour drive to see, and it was worth it. Over the phone, through email and texts, Stefan was warm and helpful and it seemed like he genuinely tries to help customers find cars that work for them. All the cars at Murrays are clean and theyre committed to making them run. Its hard to find high quality cars AND high quality service, but if those two things are what you are looking for too, MURRAYS IS THE PLACE! High quality cars, real actual no-pressure environment, salespeople who don't talk down to you, and prices that are amazing too. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I’ve dealt with Murray for years and bought two vehicles from him. Murray is a reputable business owner; Murray’s auto garage and dealership. They do a good job and guarantee their work. I like the fact that the dealership and the garage are owned by the same person. Recently I visited the dealership and met with the sales representative, Stefan, cool guy. I let him know I was interested in a commuter vehicle to go to Toronto and back. We took out a couple of vehicles and the Stefan recommenced and a hybrid SUV Nissan Pathfinder. SUV? Commuter? “Just take it for a drive.” He was right, beauties truck, fun to drive and when the EV (electric vehicle) 4 cylinder turbo kicks in great fuel efficiency. We had trouble with that at the start but Murray honoured the deal and fixed the problem. My wife and I love and enjoy this vehicle. Thanks Murray and Stefan for knowing what we were looking for before we did, and for making sure we’re happy with the ride. Highly recommend this dealership and garage. Cheers.

My first vehicle was purchased here, a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo. The condition was excellent, and the work that has been done makes this car feel almost brand new. As a bonus, he was also able to knock the price down. The only sudden problems that occurred was an exhaust leak and some cam sensor issues, nothing major at all. As I expected a new car to have some troubles, I did have to come back three different times for these exact issues. Murray was apologetic and very assuring to make things right, as he decided to replace these cams entirely, properly weld the exhaust (the previous weld was done by the previous owner), and gave me a surprise coupon for a free oil change! From my experience and a family member's, who recommended I go here, Murray's is an excellent little autoshop/dealership, and I would recommend anyone looking for a used car to look here!

Stefan was great to deal with, sold my daughter her first car, a 2013 Mini Cooper with 3 years warranty for a very fair price. We asked him to include a touch up pen and also to complete a couple minor trim repairs as part of the deal; he did the trim repairs as agreed and not only did he get the pen for us, but he did all the paint touch-up work as well! When we picked up the car it was clean, shiny and ready to go. Great place to buy a used car!

I recently purchased a GMC terrain from Murray's. We had a great experience with Stefan. Prior to visiting Murray's we went to a GTA car dealership where we recieved pretty awful customer service. When we met Stefan it was a completely opposite experience. He was informative, easy going and we felt very comfortable with him. Well we bought a ford Taurus from Murray's garage. Great car from the start! After a couple months the crankshaft started making a clicking noise. Two weeks later engine blew. They covered 1500 to replace engine. It cost us 1500 extra to finish engine swap. We got the car back and the hood started flapping up and down. They did not install bottom engine splash guard, causing hod to vibrate up and down. Murray's response was the bottom splash guard did not line up so they didn't install it. Guess they don't believe in returning the car like it was bought. My opinion they don't care about pride and workmanship. The car was filthy on the back bumper and his response was we can detail it for you. Lol, the engine install would take hours but no time to wash it properly. Him and Stephan are a joke. So be aware if you consider buying a car from these con artists.

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to for these guys because they are great people. The service they provided was very friendly, honest and fast. Upon responding to an ad I saw by Murray' Garage late at night, I was called early next morning for follow up. I went in to test drive the car the same day. When I got there I was greeted by both Stefan and Murray. I test drove the car and asked all the questions I needed to about the car and they answered it all very honestly and provided the car's history report. Because their service was great and the car was in excellent condition, I decided to purchase the car on the spot. Stefan took care of the transfers, warranty and all of the other hassle that comes with it. Two days later, I picked up my car and have been happy with it since. Great service. Employees were incredibly helpful with finding a car that has the features I was looking for that was within my budget, which was no easy task considering I’m a student. Letting them set up the payment for the car, plus having them do all the paperwork for the plates and stickers made it hassle free which is nice since I’ve never purchased a vehicle before (they even gave advice on how to get the best insurance quote). I’ve been driving the car for a couple of weeks and everything has been running great but if something were to go wrong they included a 3-month warranty on the car which gives me peace of mind about its reliability compared to buying cars ‘as is’ from other places. They even threw in a great deal to swap the tires out for better winter tires they had at the garage which handled the roads great when I went up north for the weekend. Very pleased and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I felt a little uncomfortable bringing up a few minor fixes I wanted to have done before pick up, but he actually thanked me for my attention to detail, saying he considered it's good sign that we would likely take care of the car after we took ownership. He didn't blink as we switched back and forth, changing financing terms - he reassured us that it was "our deal to make, not his". He gave some good advice about warranty options that I missed, even after he warned me to read through the options carefully. If the car we bought is anywhere near as good as the sales service, we'll be set for years. Either way, I know that it's always a roll of the dice with used cars, as you can never be 100% sure what you're getting until you're off the lot, but if I have to roll dice on the vehicle, I'll absolutely be going back for the service.

Glad I listened to the great reviews and came to Murray's Garage. As a student, I wanted to make sure I was buying from a reputable, pressure free dealership. After trying about 5 different dealerships, I finally discovered Murray's Garage. Chris was very helpful in explaining the carproof of a Nissan Versa that I was interested in, and helped walk me through the process of registering it. The process was pressure free, and I walked away very happy with my decision of buying the car, especially considering they give a 30 day free warranty to every car, something that most dealerships I visited prior charged hundreds for. I posted a review right after I picked up my car. Big mistake. My backup camera wasnt working and I was suppose to take it to have it repaired. After waiting for to long i called and they wouldn't allow me to wait for the repair to be done. I have a physical disability so i need my car. To this day it is not working. The list gets bigger. When i went for my first oil change they told me that my power steering fluid was terrible as well as the transmission fluid so that was over $400 to get that taken care of. And the tires manufacture date was 2016. I wasnt going to post this because i have been totally disguised but i guess im having a bad day. Im sure other people have great experiences here but mine was not that great once I pulled away.

I bought a Nissan Altima here I was assured it was a very good car Murray made me feel very confidant I had the car that was right for me. As a young 21 year old girl I foolishly put my trust in him as I don't know much about cars. Unfortunately the day after I picked up the car the check engine light came on. I contacted Murray and he told me to bring the car in and he would fix it when I picked it up the following day the check engine light was off but came back on a week later I contacted him again and we did the same exact thing I brought my car in but it was only a temporary fix resulting in my check engine light coming on again. My car finally died after 6 months I brought it to Murray and they told me the price to fix the car was more than I paid for it even though I only had it for 6 months and I bought it from their dealership. I didn't have the money to pat to fix the car so I unfortunately had to scrap it and m still paying it off. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE!

We were looking for an affordable car with low mileage and found that at murrays. Stefan was great and got everything done quickly for us. The car we found there had not yet been safety tested so when we test drove it he said feel free to let us know of anything you want looked at. We mentioned a couple things and by the time we went back two days later it had all been corrected and passed the safety and was ready for purchase. It was so quick and easy. Went to look at a car they had posted online. The car was in the process of already being sold but that didn't matter. I knew exactly what car I wanted, and Stephan was determined to get me into it. I sent him on a bit of a goose chase. Other dealerships had tried to convince me to buy vans or minivans, no dice that wasn't what I was looking for at all. Not Stephan though. He simply asked if I would consider other vehicles, I said nope. Most would send you on your way at that point. He tracked down the vehicle I wanted. In order to get me into that vehicle he had to go find another vehicle for the seller and he did just that. He pulled out every stop at every turn to make sure I was getting what I wanted, no ifs, ands, or buts. I was finally getting the car I wanted after a month of searching on my own. Zero regrets!!!! Fun little story. Stephan sold me my last car at a different dealership a few years ago, it was a great and easy experience back then too. I gotta say I'm not the easiest customer alive. Always wanting the cars that aren't ready for sale or even obtained yet. Seriously though just go to Murrays garage and talk to Stephan, you can't go wrong with this guy! He's super easy to work with, and nothing on my car checklist was compromised.

If I could give this place a 10 stars I would. I emailed Murray’s Garage on a vehicle I saw on line and with in 1 minute I got a phone call from Stefan. Ya 1 min…. Stefan was really nice and easy to talk to so I decided to book a time for a test drive. Stefan was even nicer in person and so easy to deal with. After testing driving the car I fell in love with it, now I was a little worried because of my credit and my budget. I sat down with Stefan abs he told me not to worry that he would get me approved within my budget on the vehicle I really wanted, in my mind I was thinking it will never happen. 6 hours later I get a phone call from Stefan to let me know I was approved on the car I wanted and under my budget. To top everything off he even got my a 3 year warranty. If you are in the market for a car I would definitely call Stefan he will get you approved and make it so easy. I have tried multiple dealership before Murray’s Garage and they were all bad experiences, having to come in talk with a sales person, then meeting the sales manager, than a business manager… Not fun at all, but at Murray’s Garage you deal with one person and one person only the whole way. These guys were amazing; extremely helpful. My car died a week and a half ago, and on Sunday I went out to look at a car with my step dad. Although they weren't open we had a good look at the car, and I was very interested in buying it. I emailed the shop that night and Murray got back to me right away. The next day I was in for a test drive and was able to take it to my own mechanic to look at it, to then putting a down payment on it that day. They did all the paper work, got everything ready for me and even helped me get snow tires on rims. And even when they had an issue with the used rims originally planned to sell to me and had to replace them with brand new ones, they took the price change due to their mistake and didn't charge me any extra which was amazing, not something I expected. By Friday, I had a new-to-me car in excellent condition, and for me the service couldn't have been better. Thanks Murray, Chris, and Lori for all your help!

My girlfriends sent an email on a Thursday night around 9:30PM and with in 30 seconds her phone rang and it was Stefan getting back to her. He was really patient and answered all of her questions. We both work 6 days a week and the only time we could come in was on a Sunday, Murray's Garage is closed on Sunday, however Stefan booked us in to come and test drive a few vehicles. Buying a car is not an easy decision sometimes, there are a lot of factors to decide. After searching for months for a car for my daughter as a surprise, I found Murrays. I messaged about a car, and Stefan got back to me within no time. We were trying to set up a time to go over the car, but I was unavailable to come at the times offered due to my schedule. He offered a video call - which I would have never thought about. We set up a time and Stefan video called me at the time we had discussed, where he went over the whole car in detail and took his time explaining everything to me. I've bought a few cars over the years but this was the first time I never felt like I was being rushed, pushed or had to make a decision "NOW". I had a good feeling about this so I sent a deposit to hold the car. After that I provided Stefan with all the information he required to make the transaction.
