My buying experience with Mark Wilson was good. But once the car was bought I faced a couple of issues. To begin with the car was delivered to me from Guelph since I live in Mississauga and that too with a burnt out headlight. I thought mark wilson delivers cars which go through inspection before it’s delivered. I highly doubt that was done. On bringing this up to the sales person Frank I was told that the light must have burnt out during delivery which I don’t agree as the car was delivered in the morning. I was then directed to the repairs manager who was rude and didn’t care I think his name was John. He agreed to repair it but wanted me to drive down all the way to Guelph to get the headlight repaired for no fault of mine. When I asked for the car to be picked up he told me that they were short staffed. How doesn’t that concern me. Why should I go all the way to repair something which was not checked prior to delivery. Secondly when we went to inspect the car before purchase we had asked for the hood deflector to be removed and kept in the car which they agreed to and is clearly mentioned in the contract. Once we received the car we didn’t find it in the car during delivery. They didn’t even bother to remove the glue stains from the front. Neither didn’t anyone tell us about what had happened until will called to ask. The sales assumed that it must have broken but didn’t give me a proper answer. Also apart from this while we went to see the vehicle we had seen a Hyundai snow brush from the previous owner that was present in the car. We were told we were going to get that as it was a part of the car. When we checked it during delivery it was missing so I brought this as well up to the sales I was told it must have been thrown out while cleaning. Why am I not getting value for what I am paying and what was agreed or promised???

I bought my new to me car, Onyx from them recently. Onyx is a 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT Preferred. I had previously had contact with the dealership previous to the Premier of Ontario demanding non essential businesses to close, and test drove this among two other vehicles I was interested in. However I had a lot to think about at that moment, so didn't move forward at that time. I decided I wanted to take the shot for it in the end, but wasn't sure how could be done as I had a trade-in as well to help offset the costs. Well between Brayden (my initial contact), Shari (Finance Manager that helped pave the whole way), Marko (the main sales guy that got things done), and Miguel (who helped with some behind the scenes stuff, as well as delivered the car to me and also grabbed my trade-in), this couldn't have been more right of a dealership to begin a business relationship. It took a little more time to get the deal done than I had expected, but in the middle of a pandemic, everyone has to adapt, and that takes time and patience. Everyone was so helpful, kind, took the time to listen to my needs. Shari helped lower my interest rate from my prior financing of the trade-in, so as much as I was spending more per payment, I didn't have as much to pay for in the long run on maintenance or such. I was looking for a car to last me, as the car that I had was a little aged and getting high in kms. I wholeheartedly would recommend Mark Wilson's Better Used Cars to anyone I know, very reputable dealer, knowledgeable staff, and true Canadians just willing to help you out. Thank you Brayden, Marko, Miguel, and especially the femme fatale Shari. I'm in love with my car already, it doesn't come that easy with me.

After weeks of searching for a low mileage (under $20K) SUV to purchase, I stumbled upon Mark Wilson's Better Used Cars and within 5 days I was sitting down to sign the papers on my beautiful 2016 Mazda CX-5! Car was clean and immaculate inside when we went for a test drive (I really appreciate that as a lot of places don't clean it properly until you agree to buy it). In my attempts to locate the perfect vehicle, I came across Mark Wilsons. My first point of contact was with Alexa in Finance. She was a pleasure to work with and answered all of my requests/questions and process information with no hesitation. Even on her days off. She went to the banks with her amazing negotiation skills and was able to secure a fantastic rate for someone with not the best past credit history. She was understanding and did not try to upsell anything. The decision was always left to me ! No nonsense, no pressure, no haggling. Once the pre-approval was done, she passed my information off to Marko in Sales. Marko was as well very professional and I was impressed the way he managed his caseload and kept his friendly and down to earth personality even during the trying times of COVID. The day after purchase, I noticed a tire was low and called up Mark Wilsons service department and without hesitation took me in right away to fill with nitrogen only to realize that an old tire plug was failing and a new tire would be needed. Great experience buying my car there. Chris Lachapelle even came out on a Sunday so I could pick the car up. On the test drive I could smell smoke in the car, and he promised they would get rid of the smell - and sure enough - when I picked the car up it smelt like new. I had noticed on the test drive that the tries were close to needing replacing, and I didn't say anything, and was fully planning on changing them when I got the car - but lo and behold, when I picked the car up, it had all new tires!

We have had a great experience at Wilson's. I would maybe take away one star because they told us we could only look at 2 cars while we were there because of Covid, but Pete helped us narrow down our list and we ended up getting the right car for us. The one star taken off is also erased because when we said there was a rubbing sound coming from one of the rear breaks, they asked us to bring the car in for a double check and replaced both back breaks free of charge. We highly recommend Wilson's!

Looking for a vehicle is not easy.. I had a good family vehicle until it stared to ask for repairs and time in a shop dealing with mechanics. We decided to start looking for a recent model (low mileage and good condition). A good friend from work talked to me about Mark Wilson in Guelph. My experience at Mark Wilson’s Better Used Cars was beyond wonderful and unlike any other experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. I first contacted the dealership just to take a look at upgrading from a sedan to a smaller sized SUV. I was contacted by Frank in sales immediately. Within minutes he had set up a time for me to test drive a vehicle that same weekend and was able to provide me with a rough estimate of the value of my trade-in vehicle that night. After test driving the car, I had noticed it smelled of smoke and had a few marks on sides. I expressed my concerns to Frank who assured me he would have the car detailed and ready for me to test drive again in a few days. When I arrived the following Wednesday to take another look at the vehicle, it was perfect. The smell of smoke was gone and no markings were left, Frank had listened to each one of my concerns and remedied each issue. I chose to purchase the vehicle that very same day. Frank made this experience so simple and wonderful, there was ZERO haggling - the price listed was the price I bought it for. After deciding to purchase, I met with Elena to go over financing. Usually I find this quite an unpleasant experience as I find I always feel I’m being “upsold” or pushed into purchasing additional packages. Elena took the time to explain each option and was extremely pleasant to deal with. She made the financing process effortless. Lastly, I had my car delivered right to my door within 4 days post-purchase. Dylan and Billy arrived with my vehicle exactly on time and ensured I was happy with everything. Their customer service was impeccable. This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing the vehicle and I will definitely be recommending it everyone else I know.

Dealership would only force you to have a specific finance rate as they get incentives from finance companies. I recently purchased a used car here. Their inventory is extensive and prices are great. They are usually busy, so book time with your salesperson. Also , the experience you received will likely depend on which salesperson you get. I felt rushed with the people I dealt with, salesperson, finance manager, girl at pick up (it went by so fast, I don't even remember her name). My salesperson didn't even remember who I was 2 days after I picked up my car. My husband on the other hand had the total opposite experience. His salesperson was amazing and the finance manager went through everything with him. I even left something in my old car that I traded in and my husbands salesperson went out of his way to get it for me. I would recommend this location if you know exactly what you're looking for and don't need someone to actually "Sell" it to you.

I was skeptical at first due to a couple reviews I read, but took it with a grain of salt, there are just some people that can not be pleased! I have to say the service and after care of things blew me away! I bought my 2018 Flex knowing it had previously been in a collision that seems fairly minor. There were a few things I had asked them to fix before I accepted the vehicle and they did without a problem. After a week or so the brakes were squeaky and they adjusted them, but again the issue came back, and even though I was out of the warranty that they had given from pick up, they stand behind what they sell and offer great service, and installed new front brakes at no charge to make sure the issue was solved. I’ll be looking for another used vehicle within a year and I know where I’ll be going. Great experience all around

Just purchased my new vehicle yesterday. I’ve been to about 5 dealerships in the last week, and they all did not come close to being as helpful and amazing as this one. The sales reps Anderson and Matt as well the finance manager Doug, were of extreme help to me. Matt went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed in the vehicle. He was very helpful, insightful and informative for all our options of payment as well as warranty’s. This was the easiest, fastest car purchase I've ever made! Hubby did some homework online and identified a few cars we wanted to try out. We expected to walk the lot to find each car but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in the door and were introduced to Ramsey, the salesman. Ramsey discussed our needs and which vehicles we wanted to look at. He then went out and brought the first one up to the front door for a test drive. We d I've 3 vehicles and he did the same for each one. He answers all our questions and was very familiar with the model we ended up buying. After we decided to purchase, Ramsey introduced us to Erik the finance guy. Erik offered us any options to add in, but there was absolutely no pressure, which was greatly appreciated. We finished the paperwork and were sent home with our "to do list" and a time and date to pick up the car. Sue had all the final paperwork ready for signature and that was all completed quickly. Ramsey was off so Marco helped us out and we were on our way quickly with the new (to us) sparkling clean car. My only complaint would be that there was not a full tank of gas. That is the one thing I felt would be a nice touch. Overall, an excellent experience and I would return!

Overall 4 out of 5 stars. Aaron from sales, and Doug from financing were both courteous and professional individuals. Aaron made sure that I was choosing the right vehicle for me, though I had already done my research on the vehicle making both our jobs a bit easier. Doug made sure everything stayed within budget and was an absolute pleasure to do business with. My only gripes, and they are nothing major, was the few issues with the tint I asked for, and the white dust and film on the cars handles, front bumper and window (which caused the tint problems). Beyond those two issues, I had a great experience with Mark Wilson's!

Gave 1 star because there isn't a negative star option. Seriously disappointed, drove 4hrs, so had to take a day off of work, to see a car that karl assured me over the phone was in "mint" condition. I was a little heartbroken when I showed up, after putting a $500 deposit on a supposedly "mint" car, and right away noticed not only scratches right through paint and primer, but dents, 3 of them on passenger side door and 1 on driver side door. They did offer to fix the dents, but after being misled I didn't feel comfortable going ahead with the purchase.

In 2016, I walked into Mark Wilson's completely unaware of how amazing my experience was going to be. It was my first time ever stepping into a dealership, let alone inquiring about how to get a better vehicle than what I had as mine was slowly dying, and I was only 2 months away from giving birth so I was stressed. However, I met Rod Sider, and Alexa Zaiser and the both of them were by far the most amazing people I have met in a long time. Despite having little to no credit and only a small amount for a down payment, I was approved for my first vehicle (Red 2012 Chevy Cruze). Fast forward to this year, and I went back again and with a new addition to our family having joined us a few weeks ago, I needed a bigger vehicle so I sought out Rod and Alexa again. Thanks to the car I had financed from Mark Wilson's (that had a repair and rebuild program on it), my credit increased remarkably and I was approved for my new vehicle (White 2018 Hyundai Tucson) and I absolutely LOVE this vehicle. Our recent experience with Mark Wilson's was a positive one for certain. We made an appointment for a test drive of the vehicle we were interested in. Trevor had two appointments close together and sked if we would mind taking a few moments on our test drive. This provided ample opportunity to look around the vehicle inside and out,, check it out, under the hood and everywhere my husband could think of. We found a few MINOR concerns and Trevor noted them for the Service Department to address immediately. Financing paperwork was easy, we were not pushed into anything we were not interested and were out of the office in under 15 minutes. 48 hours later we picked up a car that was polished, detailed, with new brakes, rotors, anything cosmetic resolved and we were ready to take it to it's new home. It was a positive experience and I would certainly consider purchasing another vehicle from Trevor Hart. This is not the first time we've checked out vehicles from Wilson's. I'm glad we were able to make this one happen as they sell fast at this dealership.

I was dealing with Ron and Iwona for purchasing an SUV but I give props to Ron especially. Ron went above and beyond and kept his words! He provided great service that is beyond my expectations. After you agree to purchase a car, they connect you with the finance team where they really try to squeeze you to your max budget with warranties, debt insurance, and upgrades. I have been researching and looking on line for a vehicle for approximately a year. I knew exactly what I wanted but wasn't planning to purchase until fall of 2021 hoping for a 2020 to come off of lease. During my nightly research I came across what I thought was a Great deal on the vehicle I was looking for. Trevor setup an appointment for me to come to Wilson's at my convenience to test drive and view vehicle. I had no intentions of buying and just wanted to check out vehicle so I brought my wife who is the voice of reason. When we arrived she saw our vehicle out front waiting and said "now there is a sharp looking vehicle that looks brand new" Trevor was waiting for us and had vehicle ready for our inspection and test ride. When we arrived back at Wilson's after test ride and inspection Trevor was waiting to answer all our questions and explain all information per purchasing a vehicle at Wilson's. We advised Trevor that we wanted to talk about it and would advise, by time we had arrived home Trevor had sent an email thanking me for our interest in the Palisade and of his availability anytime to assist. Thats when I made decision to purchase.The entire process at Mark Wilsons was a very professional, efficient, no pressure, safe environment (covid policies in place) experience . Trevor Hart answered all my questions and was in contact with me the entire experience through emails and text messages. Trevors no pressure but always available attitude was a big factor in my decision to purchase at Mark Wilsons. Big THANK YOU to Stella Roeder who walked me through all the online signing process and documentation information gathering. Recently got a car from Wilson's, which is good so far. The purchasing process was totally focused on the sale, and maybe extra sales such as extended warranty. Asked for financing advise before applying and got denied at first, but approved after including a down payment less than what I offered beforehand. Took me a week and a half to get the car, to realize there were open recalls on it. Bill of sale state a broker fee over $400 that was not supposed to be there at all. People made it difficult to keep my current license plate. In summary, car looks ok. Bad buying experience and support. Definitely will not consider as an option when looking for my next car.

Best experience buying a car!! We live in the Niagara region and could not find a car to what we wanted. We found a car online not here but in Guelph so we took a trip up. When we saw the car again still not what we wanted. So we came across Wilson's! The fact is they had so many cars on hand to see! When we got there we found a car right away that we liked! Due to Covid we saw a sign that they were only doing appointments, but I called anyways! Within 2min they had someone out, they had us test drive the car and within an hour we had signed all papers and bought a car. Although Wilson had no problem getting the car ready in a couple days we had to wait for our funds to come through but min everything was set they had the car right up front set up clean and ready to drive away. Went to Mark Wilsons today evening after fixing an appointment at 6 PM ....drove 1 way for 1 hour in rush hor traffic from Mississauga to Guelph ....arrived at 6pm sharp and let Mr. Chris know about my arrival to which he responded " I will be out right away" ....Informed the reception as well....Waited for him for 30 mins at the reception waiting area..With zero communication after that and with no sign of Chris or anyone else for that matter texted chris and left to drive back home extremely frustrated at the lack of respect for my time shown. 2,5 hrs down the drain which I could have spent with my family! When someone works for an organisation he should remember that he represents that organization and whatever he does or says reflects the values of that organization. A very different, but very positive buying experience. I was quite uneasy buying from a “Used Car Superstore”, mid COVID, with a “Best Price” policy. I was unduly concerned about the buying experience, quality of the car and the pricing. I must say the buying process was great! Wilson’s has done a great job adapting to selling cars in a pandemic - who knew making a $50K deal standing in a parking lot could be THE BEST way to buy a car? No pressure to buy, plenty of flexibility in making a fully refundable deposit and a very efficient online transaction with the business office! Regarding the actual vehicle - we ended up buying a different make/model than we intended to buy, and done zero research on it. That added to my uneasiness. Trevor assured us of their “best price policy” and he was right. Even week after our purchase I cannot find a better deal. I can’t even find a better example of the same vehicle for more money. Really a great experience all around.

I dropped into this auto dealer today, 11 years after buying my truck here. The lot is much larger and the selection as plentiful as before. Wilson’s used to source all their vehicle inventory from the USA but I’m not sure now because of the currency exchange rate. Anyhow, you’ll still find an impressive assortment of cars and trucks at very competitive prices. They don’t have to add a huge administrative fee to a sticker prices compared to the Toronto GTA used vehicle dealerships. Their website allows anyone to search through Wilson’s vehicle inventory without every having to visit the lot in person. If you really like something, nothing beats negotiating with sales representative Miguel whom my and brother and I have enjoyed wheeling and dealing with. Happy trails!

I originally went in to test drive a 2015 Nissan to get a feel for it, and while I was there, a 2016 of the same model was brought in. My sales rep Chris Lachappelle was wonderful, and assured me I would have first dibs to look at the 2016 when it was ready the next day. I fell in love with the car, and Chris was amazing with ensuring the entire vehicle was detailed top to bottom before I took it home. He even had their shop fix even the tiniest little gravel chips on the paint of the car in places I really wouldn't have noticed them. Stella was so helpful through the financing phase and was very informative. I didn't feel pressured into anything I didn't want but I was definitely made aware of all of their warranty packages. She helped to make the process less intimidating for a first-time buyer. I would absolutely recommend Mark Wilson's for anyone looking for a good quality used vehicle and honest staff, and I will definitely return in the future should I need another used car.

Zero stars if I could. Mark Wilson's Better Used Cars Limited has some questionable employees on staff!! On Saturday I test drove a vehicle and left my wallet in the middle compartment (it was really to make sure it fit since it doesn't fit in my dodge and then out of sight out of mind) and only remembered forgetting it there late last night. I began calling this morning once they were open and began getting the run around and told different things by different people. I was first told the car was already cleaned, but no wallet was handed in. Then I was told it wasn't cleaned and they would go look themselves, and of coarse, no wallet. So now I'm left without my wallet that was a gift, all my cash that was in it, my ID, my children's ID, etc and they decide it's best to just get beliegerant and aggressive towards me and my co-worker and basically tell me "mam you LOST your wallet" rather than even entertain the idea of reviewing security cameras, etc. I was signing the papers for this car this afternoon and will not be now, and want everyone to know the kind of people that work there. Shady AF. ???? I have filed a report with the police and the B ***edit to add**** an employee texted my personal cellphone last night to make threats, since I have posted this basically trying and justifying why my wallet wasn't returned to me. You can say whatever you would like back but I have multiple past employees in my inbox telling me if it was left in the car, it is gone. Known for Shady business and hiring Shady people with no background checks. ✋ DO NOT GO TO MARK WILSONS.

Found a lot Mark Wilson's, the interesting thing is thing is this - sales person: Marc Fortier did not try to push any car onto me. He allowed me to test drive all the vehicles I wanted and I was able to get a really good car - Toyota Corolla CE 2016 at a really good price. Marc and Stella helped to get my financing approval very quickly. I have used the vehicle for nearly 16 days now and drove nearly 1000 kms, there was absolutely no problem. I recommend this dealership because of following reasons. First of all, they have more than 600 cars with different brands not just one and you have lots of choices and you can have a test drive with different cars to see which brand you like based on youd taste. Secondly, they have just used cars which is great in my opinion; because after just one year, every vehicle loses almost 30% of its original value and a one-year-old car still is a new car and you can have it at least 30% cheaper than the brand new one! Thirdly, they have a big, old and trusted business which gives you a piece of mind in terms of not dealing with scammers. I heard about different dealership scams who steal people's money! At the end, I have an advice. If you have a car for Trade-in, spend a little bit of time and sell it yourself because you can sell it more than their offer and it's obvious because they want to make profit out of your vehicle.

We had a great experience buying our new car from Mark Wilson’s and highly recommend checking them out! This was the first time we went used, but are very happy with all the service and care we received at Mark Wilson’s. We also highly recommend asking for Sam. He was a a great salesman who was kind, understanding and wasn’t pushy at all. He listened to all of our concerns about the car, and had each and everyone of them addressed before we got the car. The car looks and feels like brand new, which was what Sam promised, so that was so great! He also was quick to respond to all calls or emails, which meant a lot. We ran into two small issues that were quickly fixed. The first was we noticed a squeaking in the brakes. Sam told us to bring it back as soon as we can and they will fix it. They ended up putting on new brake pads for us, so that was great! The other problem we had was the car only came with one key. It was only submitted with one. The good thing though is Mark Wilson’s has as a third party provided and can get a replacement (actual OEM key) for like half the price. So although we had to buy an extra key, the savings were great. Advice though, ask ahead of time if the car comes with two to save you the trouble of going back. We didn’t think about that, just assumed it did and didn’t learn about it until after we got the car. There was also a small delay in when our car was to be ready, because it needed some body work fixed. It wasn’t long though and Sam had the car delivered to Burlington for us to make up for it, so that was a great free service they offer, if you’re in the area. One other thing we really liked is Mark Wilson’s is a volume based lot. They explain this when you come. Basically it means the cars are priced to sell, as their goal is to sell a lot of cars to make profit instead of sitting and negotiating higher priced car for hours. Their goal is to sell quickly. We liked this because we hate the negotiation process at lots. If you go do your research though, you’ll see that they are among the best priced across southern Ontario. So although they didn’t have a lot of wiggle room, you’ll be very satisfied that you still got a great deal. Thanks again Sam for all you did in getting the car ready to meet our satisfaction! We love the new ride and will definitely be back in the future for our next purchase! Don’t hesitate to visit this lot for your next car, you really won’t be disappointed!

We were looking to make a trade in for one of our vehicles and were very happy when we came across Mark Wilson's. Both because it was very close and because of the large selection they had. We ended up having to wait for a vehicle that was coming in from out of province but were super happy with their system and speed at which they were able to give us buy out price for our trade in. The customer service was great all the way through the process. We weren't huge fans of the up-selling in regards to warranties and such but we understand that is part of their job and they backed-off when we were firm about not wanting anything extra. We are very happy with the results of the whole process and deal as well as the vehicle we purchased. We would do business with Mark Wilson's again in the future.

I have been a service customer of Mark Wilson's for several years and this past year purchased a used mercedes R320 from someone in Toronto. As soon as i got it past 30 days it was a lemon. Thousands of dollars in repairs until finally it wouldn't start. I sent it over to Mark Wilson's service department and within a few days we had got it running. Great service department staff. Summer in the service department is always a joy to talk to and is always great at keeping me updated on progress. However the mercedes was junk and I also needed to replace my truck. We first went in to replace my wife's car. After 3 test drives we found a 2018 GMC terrain and to our delight it was a diesel. We drove it to New Brunswick and back and had a great time. It is my wife's dream car . The sales staff and finance department was great and Emma is awesome at getting approvals and super friendly. Marco no longer works there anymore but was awesome from start to finish. 2 weeks ago it was time to replace my 2002 Dodge Ram. After 515000km I wanted something new. I called Marco on his cell and he told me to call Rod in the office. Rod was great and friendly and was all about finding me a truck that was going to last. After 3 test drives I decided on My 2019 Chevy Silverado TrailBoss. I love this truck. Its everything I wanted and more. Again Emma and Iwana helped me with the financing approval and a week later i had my dream truck in my driveway. I can not say how much I loved shopping here but i can say they will continue to get my service work on all our vehicals.

Buyer beware! If I could give this business zero stars, I would. I purchased a car from Mark Wilson's and then my boyfriend and I returned when he needed a new vehicle. We were sold a warranty for his truck which we recently needed to trade in. I contacted SAL Warranty to find out if there was a way to transfer or get a partial refund on this warranty which was sold to us as something we could "activate" in the future once our manufacturers warranty expired, and had not yet been used. SAL Warranty told me the warranty was about to expire. Mark Wilson's made a clerical error during our paperwork, and the warranty was active immediately, when we didn't need it, at $2,500 plus taxes. I contacted Mark Wilson's to see what they would do rectify the situation, and after 4 months of waiting to hear back, they finally gave me a fluffy excuse of "there are no refunds on cancelled warranties". I didn't cancel the warranty, it was about to expire because sold in error! I am disgusted. This is how they treat their customers who spend upwards of $50,000 on 2 vehicle purchases. They can fix the situation, any business can choose to do the right thing and they are not. They said they maybe could have done something had we returned to trade in the truck with them, but why on earth would I give them MORE money? Oh, you can only do something to fix things if I give you more money, none of the money I already gave you was good enough? Absolutely beyond appalled with this business. Thanks for taking my $2,500 for nothing.

I was very impressed with the professionalism shown at Mark Wilson's Better Used Cars. I had an appointment with Marc Fortier and when I arrived the cars that I was interested in test driving were out front and ready. Marc answered all of my questions and went through the history of each car. When I decided which car I wanted to buy, I met with Stella Roeder who took me through all of the packages available. At no time were pressure tactics used by either Marc or Stella. At all times, Covid protocols were followed. I will definitely return next time I'm in the market for a car.

Was in the market for a new car and recently went to mark wilsons as they had a large selection of vehicles, I narrowed it down to the car I wanted and sure enough they had it. With no pressure from the sales rep Pete I was working with. Took the car for a test drive and knew it was it, came back and in no time at all we were sitting down getting the paper work started. After everything was started I sat down with Shari from the finance department. She went over everything I had questions about, made sure everything was clear and I knew what I was getting into. She made sure I got the lowest interest rate and that I was happy with what I was buying. If looking for a new vehicle I would recommend at least coming here and looking at what they have and see the experience yourself.

Great experience here at Mark Wilson's! David Miller is a great sales person - he didn't try to pressure me or push me into financing and cares for his customers' needs. He was very kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to take care of my concerns. Him and his sales manager stayed after hours to help me purchase the vehicle. They also replaced the back-up camera even though our contract stated they would only try to clean/fix the current camera as best as possible because a replacement may be too costly. After a few days, I noticed a mark on the passenger side mirror and asked if they could touch it up and Dave fixed it himself. All in all, I would definitely recommend Mark Wilson's to anyone looking for a quality pre-owned vehicle!

Be very careful buying a car here most of them out of province and car fax is not always proven. I've also seen car fax only applicable in one province, sometimes you have to find out from ministry of that province ,if reported. I was there recently buying a car .When they made up the order I was told that I was going to get an oil change and filter , touch ups on the car. A few days later.... I wanted to check what they did , so I bring my code reader and says warnings on emission , and in learning mode. I also checked the oil was at half mark and dirty, not changed. The salesman came back and called his service advisor they checked it out 30 minutes later they told me they topped the oil and checked the faults codes . I asked why are those warning codes present and they said there was work done recently the turbo,water pump and valve stem seals , I said; no one disclosed this to me and also said the oil was not changed and at the half way mark.,might be burning oil . They even asked me if I was a tech guy . The car was also from another province which was disclosed to me . When the service advisor left I told the salesman I'm not taking the vehicle because i feel that there's something wrong with it ,he was not to happy and made a comment they cleaned it up for me .I called the next day to cancel , I did not get a call back after calling 3 plus times and left messages . I heard this place does not return your calls! Plus they have a 3 day return policy .. The car was cleaned and serviced thats what the salesman told me , I was suppose to pick it up that day Don't believe the response from the owner!

Came to have a look at pick up trucks. No prices listed on vehicles so you have to scan the QR code.it would The info sheet is so high on the windshield you have to be over 5 10 to reach. Not a good set up for people not tech savvy or short. Waste of time.

Amazing dealership!! I went in because a few of my buddy’s bought their cars from Mark Wilson’s and never had any problems and they all had a genuinely great experience there. They are open early till late which makes booking an appointment around your own schedule easier. I went in just to shop around and wasn’t pressured to buy a car at all, plus their selection is massive!! Like I can’t stress that enough. If there’s a car you want I bet they have it! A thanks to Neil Plante who was checking up and making sure the presses was as smith as possible. Matt Piccolo helped me find what I was looking for and helped me find a car that I both wanted and that best fit to my budget!! Great guy to help you find a car, I holy recommend you ask for him!! Stu Jeffery is the one that I sat down with and applied for a loan and helped find a great warranty package, he won’t BS you. He will be honest and let you know what is a good warranty package, he’ll let you know things you’ll likely want and things you likely won’t want/ need. Again I highly recommend going through him! Nicole Hoover was the one to help finalize my paper work and get my insurance switched over, I wasn’t prepared for this stage and she was above and beyond patient as well as more then happy to help. She was of great help and if you get to work with her it will help make the process much easier!!! I’m sure no mater who you go through you will have a perfect experience, I was treated like a human, they understand that everyone has a budget and the don’t pressure you to go over that cause at the end of the day it’s that happy costumers that come back and spread the word and believe me I’m a happy costumer. If you are in a rush to buy a car, Mark Wilsons is the perfect place to go! My sales rep was quick to get me in the car as well as the other clients who he was helping at the exact same time. He never took the time to explain any of the car features, mind you I don't think he knew any of the car features as he was unsure of any questions that I asked him. I made an appointment time for 4pm to pick up the car. The car was just being taken out of detailing as I arrived, the car did not have gas in it nor were the plates put on. At time of arrival, my sales rep was busy with other clients so I waited a good half hour for him to come out. I was there for a total of an hour and a half before we drove off. Everything was so rushed that paperwork was forgotten as well as ownership. When I got home I noticed the paint they used to patch up markings did not match the colour of the car. To make matters worse, underneath the e-brake looked like it hadn't been cleaned since 2016. Had I not absolutely loved the vehicle and been so easy going, I most likely would not have bought a car here. I understand that this place sells a ton of different vehicles, but sales reps should be somewhat knowledgeable about each vehicle and should take the time to point out different features of the car at time of sale, if not at time of your test drive. My sales rep was extremely pleasant and I enjoyed working with him, however his sales process needs a bit of refining. To say the least, the car really sold itself.

Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional. They have a great selection of cars. They would have got 5 stars but there were deep scratches on the door of the vehicle we chose. The manager even said it would have to be sprayed out but they would take care of it. Just like any and all used car dealerships they tried to repair as cheap as possible ( used a touch up pen that did not match the body color) . I would have given them 2 stars because they waited until the day before pick up to see if we approved. We saw the car on Sunday, they sent photos of their attempt on Thursday. I would have given back 2 stars because they made it right and did a good job but it took them another week to get it done. I've had an entire front end replaced including paint done in that time, this was a sand and paint on a door. I had to drive my original vehicle around with plates registered to the new one. Any way, this is generally a good dealer. Make sure you check the vehicle thoroughly and if there are repairs expect delays.

My tire needed some air or so I thought but ended up needing a patch due to a nail. I was originally there for an oil change and the woman I dealt with was amazing. She pointed out my tire and got it fixed for me. Ontop of that she had to deal with the dealership I purchased the vehicle from due to their lack of customer service. Summer was AMAZING to deal with and made me feel fantastic about leaving my car in good hands. She is very knowledgeable and great at customer service. Very happy with my experience.

Utterly disappointed and would not recommend, what a nightmare. I got a ticket as my insurance wasn’t valid, somehow the VIN didn’t match. It turns out they gave me the wrong VIN at the dealership, when I called to inquire they were extremely rude and told me I entered the wrong info, and accused me of trying to commit insurance fraud and make them responsible for my ticket, as well as my premium DOUBLING. So they did absolutely nothing about, I asked to speak to the owner directly and was told I wouldn’t be able to as it’s not their problem basically. So my insurance premiums doubled, and now I’ve got the ticket on my record that I’ve been trying to get sorted out for months and have removed from my record and hopefully get my insurance back to normal. After realizing what had happened, they basically sent me an email saying MY INSURANCE company messed up and basically ignored the fact they somehow gave me the wrong VIN at the time of purchase, told me I entered the wrong VIN, but somehow miraculously entered a VIN for an identical car on their lot. So it’s cost me about $2200 in insurance increase, tickets, time off work to get it sorted, and not one offer to resolve anything other than they’d help me find cheaper insurance. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The whole time I was passed around to multiple people who did nothing, and then passed off the the rudest sales manager I’ve dealt with in my life who blamed me for their mistake. The owner should’ve stepped up directly and at least made an attempt to resolve it. But they got my $25k for the car I bought so that’s all that matters.

Mark Wilsons, Re: Vehicle Purchase I recently purchased through financing a 2016 Mazda CX5 from your dealership and I can't say anything bad about the customer service received. Marc Fortier and Mark McMullen were great to deal with , Mark Fortier was great with paperwork, down payment process and making sure the vehicle was ready for pick up. Mark McMullen greeted me in a professional manner and even took time to have a brief conversation with me to make sure I was happy and felt everything was what I purchased. This is a great place to purchase a used vehicle. The vehicles they purchase for resale must first be thoroughly inspected and reviewed by their audit panel before they decide to sell to the public. Their prices are outstanding, I honestly could not find a lower price for my vehicle. The vehicle quality is outstanding...a few minor cosmetic issues but that is really all. They were also very responsive and quick to correct a minor problem I experienced. Joe is fantastic to deal with, he is very level-headed, honest, and responsive. Mike Geo is also very good to deal with as well as Stella their Finance Manager. I appreciate that they have over 500 vehicles in stock and must satisfy all of their customers with their own unique demands, but they do get it done. All in all I got the exact vehicle I wanted, in great condition (validated by my local GM dealer), and at an unbeatable price. What more can you ask for?

Right from the start it was amazing customer service. I was browsing online and applied for financing. Jesse called me almost right away to let me know she was on the case. I was able to go in the very next day to test drive a couple cars. Johnny was an awesome guy to deal with, great sense of humour and helped me feel comfortable the whole time! He also found me exactly what I wanted. Stella ran me through the final pricing and warranty. I hate that kind of stuff, I just don't have the mind for it, but she was very understanding and made it easy for me. Ultimately, everyone I dealt with including the front desk was just great. I bought a 2015 and of course a used car won't be perfect, but they made sure scuffs and scratches were color matched with touch up, buffed out, etc. I felt like I was leaving in a brand new car that I couldn't afford. It took them a while to get the car ready for me, and even when they did, not everything was done. I was told that all the recalls in the car would have been completed. However, after I bought the car, I had to complete 2 recalls. They said that they knew about the recalls, just didn't get it done. Overall, the process of buying the car with them was not easy and could have been a lot better.

I bought a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport from Karl. His customer service was initially good (setting up cars for test drives, arranging financing). When test driving the vehicle, i noticed that the dash piece was broken and falling off, so when I bought the vehicle it was agreed that they would fix it. It was also said to me that I would have a full tank of gas. The day I picked it up, the dash was not fixed, and almost 3/4 tank of gas empty. I asked them to fix the dash piece, and not to glue it on but to do it properly. Was told it was replaced. When I checked, it was glued on. It now cannot come apart for me to fix it myself. I was given 3 winter mats, minus the driver's side one.... the tire inflation light came on during my drive home, and now comes on periodically since the purchase. Come to find, tire pressures were low since the moment I bought the vehicle. I topped them up myself, never had an issue since. Also changed the oil and found the dipstick was seized, it definitely had never been checked at the dealer. Power steering and coolant both given to me at the low mark, front and rear diff extremely low. When purchasing a $40,000 vehicle from a well known company, I expected them to not miss all of these items. Would recommend for the price, but the price cut must be because they don't invest in customer service. Overall bad experience.

Purchasing process was fine, but the service work that was performed on the vehicle that I bought was terrible. They had all four tires at 60 psi, causing damage to the tires that came on the vehicle, as well as allowing the vehicle to leave their lot in an unsafe condition. The also did not complete standard brake service (lubrication of the parts) when they changed the brakes. TL;DR: They let a customer leave with a vehicle in an unsafe condition, causing me to replace all the tires, and to have the brake assemblies for all four wheels taken apart and reassembled. I won't be purchasing another car here.

My husband and I were in need of an affordable vehicle, ASAP, as ours was completely totalled in a not-at-fault collision. We saw a huge variety of contenders on Mark Wilson's website. We called and spoke with a sales rep, Ron, who said the cars were still available and we booked a time to meet with him. We waited for 18 minutes upon our arrival to finally meet Ron, who was having lunch (even though we booked an appointment). When he finally came over, he was wearing a cowboy hat and holding a sandwich in his hand. He took bites in between shaking our hands. When we sat at his desk we were informed only 1 of the 5 cars previously discussed was now available (there was only a 1-business day span between us calling and meeting with Ron). We took a test drive and found out that the car did not have key features (backup cam, heated seats) that Ron told us it did. Ron did not accompany us for the test drive and with a VERY tight/busy parking lot, this actually became a bit of a stressful situation as he was no where in sight when we returned. Ron informed us that there is "no way" we would be able to finance a car for lower than 6% ARP and that Mark Wilson's rates vary from 6%-14%. Ron was not conversational or enthusiastic about making a sale - this was clear. When we told him thanks for the test drive but we're gonna keep looking (for no reason other than we refused to buy a vehicle from such a horrible rep) he took a bite of his sandwich and nodded his head. Not even a reply. I am very happy to announce that because of Mark Wilson's horrible customer service, I ended up at the local Guelph Volkswagen dealership where we financed a practically brand-new car for an amazing price and were helped by informed, educated, and helpful staff. I guess there always is a silver lining! *update: I've noticed a "response from the owner" has been awarded to every review except mine ... huh*

I had been looking around for some time searching for a good reputable place to purchase a good used vehicle, try to stay within budget & feel I found that place to do business at Mark Wilson's. The staff is friendly but I found communication is lacking a bit but completely understandable with the amount of business they generate. ie. When purchasing a used vehicle with already tinted windows the purchaser shouldn't be ask if they want the windows tinted. My purchase was an easy one for the salesman as I knew what I wanted. The few emails i made were only 50% replied to. Apart from the lack luster communication i will definately be back in the future as their pricing & selection are great & they took the time to make my Ford Escape shine on delivery. A+

Our sales person (Fonz) was great when purchasing the car, very low pressure and super helpful. However, when doing the paper work, we were very misled into purchasing a warranty that really does not cover anything useful, despite being told that it did. They “threw in” rust protection with the purchase, and my car has been to them for rust repair over 3 times in the past year, and there’s only more and more rust growing. I have taken my car in many times for other issues, including a driver side signal that never stays “fixed” for more than a few days at a time. Not sure if they use cheap parts, or just can’t be bothered with actually diagnosing the problem. I will say they did not charge me the second time I brought it in since I previously paid for the same issue, however now we are at a THIRD time with the same issue and I have to drive 25 minutes to bring the car in. Overall, not impressed. The issues with the car might just be normal wear and tear, but I was very misled as to what the warranty covered, and service doesn’t seem to actually “fix” anything. Wouldn’t recommend taking your car here for work.

Highly disappointed. Financing was the simple part. The vehicle had damage to the front end, and I was promised it would all be replaced and painted. I live 1 1/2 hours away, so when I made the drive down to get the car, to my surprise the body shop tried to give me a vehicle which now had been bondo and painted over. Visible scratches on the vehicle were still there. I sent the vehicle back two more times due to items in the front end still not replaced and paint not matching. After the last repair, they delivered the vehicle back to me with 1/4 of a tank of gas, when it left our possession it was full. Very unprofessional, and they made this purchasing of a vehicle a nightmare for us.

I visited Wilsons Service Department for a free oil change on October 1st. My tire pressure light was also on, so I asked them to just check the tires as well - which I would assume is a normal part of an oil change. When my car was finished I was called to the desk and was informed I owed $39, I informed them that the oil change was free and they stated the charge was for the tire pressure monitor - they filled the tires, and recalibrated the sensor. I told the lady working the service desk that I was unaware I would be charged for this or I would have done it myself, that I don't feel I need to pay $39 for essentially air in my tires. The reason being that this place is different...in a great way. The operation was professional in every possible way. Though they’re in the business of selling used vehicles, it seems to have all the positive attributes of a polished new car dealership without the many negative attributes of those same dealerships. As mentioned earlier, Peter McLean was our salesperson and my sons (future WRX drivers) and I couldn’t have been happier. Peter is a class act who is not only knowledgeable but was very patient and accommodating. Buying a vehicle with Wilson’s I would give 5 stars but warranty claims and service are far from desired from lack of communication skills and ability to fix problems the first time within a timely fashion to having damages occur while in the care of the service department to be left holding the bill because I’ve purchased a used vehicle that somehow equals “ not my problem so sorry this is what you purchased “ go spend $60,000 on a lightly used vehicle and let the service department give you the run around and waste your time with body shops who can’t paint and service departments who don’t bother to inspect their own work that you pay for besides you’ll get a free pat on the back from management with a smile on the side just remember to read the fine print because incompetentnce is the name of the game when it comes to treating your vehicle with the same respect you give it while trying to protect your investment.

I’m not entirely sure who was driving your shuttle tonight up highway 7 but he earned you this 1 star review. Couple pieces of advice if your going to drive a wrapped company vehicle. The left lane is for passing. I went to go around on the outside lane and he almost rear ended the car in front of him trying to block me. And despite the difficulties presented by the pandemic, Marc at Mark Wilson's had me in to test drive the cars I was interested in a day after contacting them. Marc was fantastic and by the end of the same day I took the test drive, I was filling out the paperwork to purchase my new car. Sarah in financing was great as well! 3 days later and my car was delivered earlier than expected which is awesome and it looks amazing! We recently purchased a vehicle at Mark Wilson’s and as anyone would know buying a car nowadays is not easy after hours of searching and stepping out of our comfort zone my husband researched many websites and options to find the type of vehicle we were looking for so here we are driving up to Guelph Ont. to Mark Wilson’s better used cars once we are there we walk around looking at the few we had researched online no hassle from any sales person once we decided the vehicle we wanted to test drive we entered their main building were asked are name and they then sent us our sales rep Karl a very nice man by the way as well as any staff that we dealt with Karl took are info printed out the car fax and readied our test drive vehicle. I am not kidding you when I say that there was another 5-6 vehicles other people came to test drive as well but at the end we purchased the vehicle and Shari another friendly staff member finished are paper helped us along with Karl to ready our purchase earlier so that the pickup time fit are schedule. Hats off to this business...A very well run business. Try them there pricing out does other dealerships we saved thousands. ????????????
