I purchased my first ever ford vehical here. The sales experience was mostly positive, and the price was fair for a fully loaded truck. Shortly after buying the truck, i was experiencing horrible mechanical issues. The service department was a nightmare to deal with, especially considering i was driving a truck with less than 100km on it. After weeks of issues, Ford Canada admited the issue was an engineering problem. Their solution was laughable. After i filled out negitive scores on the highly coveted "survey" to Ford, i had the salesman getting mouthy with me about the scores, since it really "screws the dealership". Drove the truck for a year and traded it on a brand new Denali. Won't do business here again.

What an amazing start to my day! Went to pick up my vehicle from Hansen Ford as my defrost heat fan didn't work after I had the windshield wiper motor replaced. The tech people (who were very nice and helpful there, AND happy to see you) said he was at a loss as all of a sudden it just started working. He said if it happens bring it in right away and we'll look again. There was no charge for the time it took to try and figure out the problem ???? AAAANNNNND ~ when I got in my vehicle it was CLEAN. They washed and cleaned the inside for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you Hansen Ford ~ you made my Christmas Season????????

Would advise to stay clear of this place people.. Brought in our SUV to get some simple things checked out, like check engine light and command start before the snow flies. Charged me over seven hundred dollars and didn't do a thing to my unit. Charged me for some crazy inspection they said they did and tallying up repairs that we apparently needed to a whopping fourteen thousand dollars... Customer service was also very poor as I was left standing at the counter for twenty minutes while the service staff carried out a conversation. Is there any honest decent shops around anymore these days, or has the overwhelming sense to get rich quick overtaken the moral compass of everyone in the industry?

Keep up the good work. However update communication was my only area of concern which needs improvement according to my opinion.

I've been wanting to upgrade my vehicle for a while, but wasn't sure what I could afford, and what would work for my family. With the help of the excellent sales staff in the Used Department, I found the perfect SUV. Bryan Benn was extremely helpful and patient with me, as I really wasn't sure what I wanted. Once we landed on the right vehicle that fit my budget and needs, Jessica Embree assisted me with the financing, and answered my millions of questions. I had been to other dealerships before, and not once did i feel comfortable, and that the sales person was even listening to what I was asking for, only trying to sell me what they wanted to sell. I never once felt pressured to buy at the used lot at hansen ford, and everyone in the building made me feel at ease, and relaxed. I will for sure recommend Hansen Ford to my family and friends, especially the Used department!

They took the time to figure out what was wrong with my car and fix the problem. I was not at all happy with the initial service when I was going to pick up a rental car that they were covering the cost of. When I got there (which they new when I was arriving) I was informed that they did not have a car. They would drive out to my work the next morning and exchange cars. they finally arrived after 5:00 to exchange cars.

Warranty is a joke... Buy a four wheel drive truck for work and life in Alberta where most roads aren't paved. Ford warranty won't cover damage because it was caused by mud. So if I had washed it better underneath it would have been covered? Doubt it...

Review is for the service department, I haven't bought anything there. Naomi the service advisor genuinely cares about making sure you get excellent service. She found I was still eligible for a pre-paid Ford service package that another dealer had told me had told me was expired. The service advisors are straight-forward and upfront about costs and options and don't push anything if you choose to defer. Quickly informed me about, and accepted the responsibility (and cost) for a broken part that may or may not have been their fault.

New dealership is a joke. No organization to their parking lot. Went for some parts. Did 2 laps to find a parking spot near parts. Then stand at counter for 15 minutes for 2 small parts. The team at Jim Hansen went above and beyond for me when I purchased my new vehicle. Everyone at the dealership was honest and friendly. I never felt rushed and even though I'm sure some of my questions were a bit silly, they were very patient and even sat with me and helped me get my app all set up before I left. They followed up with me after my purchase to make sure I was enjoying my new ride and made it the 5 hours home safely. Passing through on the way to Alaska and service engine light came on. We stopped yesterday and they checked the code. Appointment set for this morning, did a complete diagnostic then replaced a sensor in under 3 hours. They washed the truck when all done. Honestly, this is the second Ford dealer we've been to in Canada and those in the USA could learn a lot. Couldn't be more pleased.

No problems at all dropped off, given a ride home was called about a filter that needed to be replaced after 30,000 km. Air bag was recalled and no problems with the car afterwards so far.

Service department was great at finding the transmission problem, and getting my truck back t me in 6 hours, The issue was that the FORD maintenance book said the job should take 11 hours and I was charged way too much. The dealership removed $500 for the bill, so that was great. More important is the "book" allotted time for this repair. Ford is almost treading on thin ice when the allowed time is so far away for the actual time it takes to do a repair. I will be taking this up with Ford, as I feel this is getting way out of line. Again no issue with the dealer and the service provided, but extremely unhappy about the prescribed shop time authorized by Ford

Very disappointed in Hansen Ford ! We brought our Navigator in 3 months ago as the warranty was about to expire so we wanted all the little issues addressed and fixed. One issue was the driver window was hesitating like the motor was going. We were told it worked well in the shop and that it was probably the weather. We disagreed but nothing more they would do. Well as we were leaving town last Friday the driver window motor stopped working all together. Brought the Nav in yesterday and recieved a $670 bill. Doesn't matter that they addressed it a couple moths ago and did nothing. Not impressed ! UPDATE - Hansen Ford made it right by us. Worked with us made us happy within 24 hrs of this review. Thank you Hansen Ford for appreciating your customers.

Had an amazing experience with him, the sales manager who gave me a great deal on the car, and with Tim in financing. I have driven Fords most of my life, and this is the first time where I felt like I was being heard when I was talking about what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. Sam, our salesman, made buying our new escape and fairly enjoyable process! Arnie the Viking helped with a few laughs too! But back to Sam, he was great, super patient. He showed us what we thought we wanted, he found one on the lot with exactly what we asked for, then we talked payments, it was more then we wanted to pay, (my hubby works for a company that has a deal with does to make the vehicles way cheaper then the msrp, without bargaining) so how about we look at something smaller like the escape? He finds us one that has all the bells and whistles and off we go for a test drive. And hot damm, they are roomier then I thought... (I'm downsizing from an explorer) we get back and one that he didn't show us catches my eye. Without question he just goes and get the keys. That's the one we bought. Lol So thank you Sam and Tim our finance guy who worked with us to get the little SUV that is actually kind of roomy!

Since 2013, I've bought 4 brand new vehicles from these guys, but the staff has changed since then. On my latest 2 vehicles I bought, I've had to fight for air filters and oil changes, get attitude when asked to rotate my tires when I always have extended warranty. Last time I was there, after I FOUGHT them to change my BLACK air filter, they lost my vehicle somewhere and got mad at me when I asked them to go find it. When the guy finally found it, he threw the keys at my chest and pointed somewhere in the parking lot and said, THERE'S YOUR VEHICLE! HAVE A GOOD DAY! while I'm there with my 10 year old son. I was blown away, and for these embarrassing reasons, ill never buy a vehicle from these guys, THEY DONT CARE, THEY ONLY CARE WHEN SELLING A NEW VEHICLE! Don't waste time with these guys, go somewhere you are treated properly. Spending hundreds of thousands on these guys is a literal JOKE

Very quick regular maintenance has been carried on my vehicle. They gave updates through the phone to let me know what was going on. Trusted and good people. I know it's not advised to leave your personal belongings and money in your vehicle before handing in, but I don't care anytime I hand in my vehicle. Nobody touches anything in my vehicle. Here is Canada and people respect each other. Hansen staff fully respect their customers and nobody touches anything in the vehicle. We had a fantastic experience with Hansen Ford and our salesman Nick McAleney. This is the 3rd vehicle we have purchased from them, and they have all been great trucks. They just sold the Escape that I wanted, but they were able to find one all the way over in Saskatchewan and brought it in for me! bought a used f150 from the used section loved the vehical but it did have some minor issues. normally when that happens people get mad right away and so on and that is usauly me but the service i got from Nicole and the service staff was awesome took my mind right off the whole issues of the truck which was fixed at no cost to me but they made my services so friendly and helpful that i didnt mind it having some issues. For a dealer who sells FoMoCo fine cars and trucks, Hansens service department is a joke.... Two desk jockeys would rather chat up with eachother than to deliver service to waiting customers there on time for appointments. Half-assed service work, false inspection reports as opposed to actual findings, zero reliability in chain of communication between service dept and the mechanics in the shop area. But wait theres more, Provides a complimentary full inspection as an reputable shop should do before starting work... BUT this dealer does not actually do it, and charges 800 Canadian pesos (for the 'inspection') to release the vehicle. Say no, why, but; then good luck getting your vehicle back. Better pay up, it's the Hansen Ford high-way robbery way of excellent service. Go to the other dealer in town, you'll be in professional care as expected of a FoMoCo dealer.

Phoned in to book for my prepaid maintenance for my 2014 Escape. Was able to get in the next morning. They were able to drive me home while they worked on it. Before dropping it off, I asked if they were able to wash the back of the car so that I can apply my new registered sticker to the back after they were done. When I got the keys, Hansen Ford was able to accommodate my request by giving me a free car wash, which I wasn't expecting at all. I was very happy with the service and the new system to give me more insight to how my vehicle was processed. I definitely recommend them for all your service needs.

Horrible experience. I was not givin new brakes when they had been redone less then 8000kms ago. The service manager aggressively told me it was the way I drive and the mud I was driving through not the quality of the brakes. Although it is a work Truck I had a dodge drive the SAME roads for 210,000 kms and have had no issues wearing through brakes. Not to mention I payed for prepaid service package and was STILL not givin the option for a free refund. TO TOP THINGS OFF THEY WANTED 2300 TO GET ME NEW ONES AND ADVANTAGE BRAKE AND MUFFLER DID IT FOR 1600. 700$ LESS!!!!

Overall disappointed. I bought my truck from Hansen and have had all my services and repairs done at their shop. During one of my visits for a heated seat repair, I was hit with a $150 diagnostic fee for identifying and installing a fuse. After questioning and discussing I was told that before they are able to check the fuse panel they first have to remove all interior and run tests on the electrical components. Absolutely nothing was wrong with the electrical apart from a missing fuse. After pleading my case that the fuse panel seems like the obvious starting point for something electrical, I was assured that I wasn’t charged for the $3 fuse and that he would do me a favour and cover half the $150 charge. When I asked him if, before bringing my truck in for electrical work, I should check to ensure all fuses are in the appropriate places and undamaged, he said that would probably be a good idea. After this visit I left a less than perfect review and was contacted by one of the service managers, months after the appointment and review, to find out more info. I explained to him my experience and disappointment. I also explained that, even after a few less than good experiences from services and appointments I was wanting to use them again if they offer better service with a more honest approach. This service manager admitted that it sounded as though the diagnosis and charges applied didn’t sound correct and assured me that he would look into my history and get back to me within a week. That conversation I had with him was 4 months ago and I still haven’t heard back from him. Judging by a lot of these reviews people do get exceptional service from Hasen, and I have had routine maintenance and minor repairs where everything went just fine. As mentioned before Hansen was my first choice for my maintenance and repairs. After the phone call regarding the less than perfect review I left and the service manager promising to “look into it and get back to me” and never hearing back from him, I don’t have much choice but to use somewhere that seems to take more pride in their word, workmanship and honesty.

I got a used car from Hansen Ford this month. When I went there for a test drive, we already asked for the block heater and spare key and we were told that they will check on it. It was a nice small car and decided to purchase it. We talked about the price and was given a fair “discount”. We came back the following day to get the car and asked again about the block heater and the key, they said that the additional key was still with the previous owner and they will ask him about it. For the block heater, we tried to look for it together with them but we could not find it. They said that I must go to KIA directly and ask about it. When you buy a car from them, they offer this “Hansen Advantage” which includes a 176 point inspection which in paper, will keep you feel secured that you’re getting a good condition car. Just right after I got the car, engine light showed up that windshield wiper washer was low, I also noticed that the wiper was rusty and broken. These are just small things but will make you think that if they really inspected the vehicle thoroughly, this should have been checked before they sold it. Back to the block heater, I went to KIA and was told that the car does not have one and that I would have to pay if I wanted it. I told Hansen about it and asked if they could have it installed instead, they told me that I must do it in KIA directly and said that it was a good thing that I saved “$$$” from them. In the first place, they should have known that the car did not have a block heater and inform the customer about it before he decided to buy it. Had no choice but to have it installed from KIA and paid for it. And with the spare key, I messaged them a few times and even went back there personally to ask for it, but they told me that they still haven’t received it back from the previous owner. The latest message I got from them was that the last owner disconnected his number and told me to go to KIA again to cut me a new key. When I called KIA, they are charging $550 for the spare key which this car should have one in the first place. And I’m not definitely not at ease with the fact, that someone out there still holds the key to my car. I’m definitely not happy with the service.

The work done on my Explorer was great. I can not see the fixed area anywhere, however, I was disappointed with state of my vehicle once the work was done. There was a white powder all over the inside and outside where the work was done. I had to spend a bit of time cleaning this area and thought more care could have been taken to return my vehicle in the same state I gave it to them. Otherwise, the work done to fix the factory default was great.

Turns out it was the oil pan guard and the clips had not been replaced correctly from previous service which i had completed at the competition. Went to have my winter tires put on after going off the road. They had me wait in a nice lounge that was very accommodating. The service was not great by the end. Once my vehicle was finished o was lead to where you pay and told my vehicle was just out front. I went out (it was storming) and walked all around the front and the side of the building. My truck was not there. When I went back in to find out where it actually was I waited in line where people were paying. And a lady behind the desk asked how she could help. I asked where they actually put my truck because it was not out front. She didn't know. They guy who helped me earlier said it should be out front but I'm busy right now. Ha once they have your money service stops. I went back out with no help from them and found my truck over by the lbx building. Maybe the luxury of a customer lounge was nice but I'll stick to the real customer service of my usual small tire shop.

Horrible Experience. I dropped my car off a day early to get an out of province inspection . The next day when my inspection was supposed to start , I got a call from the dealership and was told that I needed a form from the DMV before they could even do the inspection . Long story short, it took a few hours to get that form , pushing everything back and preventing me from even getting it the vehicle that day. When we dropped off the car we were told that when the car was finished, they would send a shuttle to come pick us up to get the car . When my wife called they informed her that they are not even doing shuttles right now because of COVID ( Windsor Ford still offers shuttles) . After some arguing they agreed to drop the car off to us . I think this is a very disorganized place , with horrible service and would not recommend it to anyone for anything .

Called total of three times today for the used car dealer manager. Left two messages, one that was supposed to be "hand delivered" to him and he would "call me back right after". Never have a received a call back. I didn't have a problem getting a hold of the used dealer manager for Windsor Ford and will be giving them my business. Been having some concerns with my pickup over the last couple weeks and when the weather is not pleasant certain amenities are nice to have. I have to say this is personally my first owned diesel and once you have driven one its hard to go back to anything else. With this being said I am a very fussy client when it comes to my truck so when things shake rattle and roll I have to admit I can be somewhat of a (patient) so to speak thus I have to give the service staff credit for putting up with me! and getting me fixed up, no one person can say they have never had that bad experience but its how a business moves forward and reclaims a customers satisfaction and trust that counts. Update , quicklane and manger Guy from Hanson what a joke , Brent is amazing salesmen goes that mile for you but sadly his hands are tied . Truck still has problems, we became aware 2 weeks after we bought truck ,(that's when we went for wheel alignment) since that day we've been saying it has problems , they keep saying good to go .now this week they gave keys back to unsafe truck to drive . So we have loan payments of 50grand and insurances and can't even enjoy the truck it's parked ! I morally can't recommend quicklane or used side of Hanson!!!! Will update if Lincoln sides comes up with anything ! My husband just bought new(to us ) work truck . Brent and Hanson Ford team are amazing! They go the extra mile, hands down . Highly recommend Hanson, if your looking for new or used vechical. As for a Ford vechical, I can't comment since I am bias, and not a Ford lover, but my husband says both his f350 have been amazing trucks.. Wow.. these guys sold me a truck2018 f150. I go to pick the truck up nov 27th 2020 it wasn't ready after I already waited over a week for them to get it ready, I go there and first thing they tell me they threw my license plate out, I was mad as hell and left realized they didn't do any work on the truck AT ALL, and were telling me its good to go.. I didn't purchase the warranty and I told them the truck has issues in the front end from my test drive, they were going to sell me the truck with 3 things needing work on the front end bearing and drive shaft and can't remember the other one, the truck also needed a windshield, so they were going to sell me a vehicle un saftied and with the truck needing a bunch of work hoping I just didn't notice anything was wrong, now its dec 7th and im still waiting for my truck.. my first payment comes out on the 20th of December and I still havnt even had the truck yet.. they say they will pay me the days since the 27th of nov which doesn't cover the cost im loosing out on.. the o ly thing they did after all of this was give me a warranty package on the truck until 160 00 and thats after I said if I didn't get it ill return the truck.. this places service is a joke clearly and I was so happy with my first experience here now inwpuld never go back or recommend anyone ever buy a vehicle here.. they just try and sell you junk hoping you just won't notice...

We would recommend Brent to anyone shopping for a used vehicle. We have recently taken our Lincoln to Hansen's for an oil change and inspection. While there, the technicians replaced a faulty signal light bulb. Although it was a little expensive, the cause for the expense was with the vehicle design and not with the folks in their service department. Everyone did their best to minimize the cost and made the entire experience a pleasant one. We would highly recommend their service department for anything you need done.

I have a 2015 Platinum F350 diesel with 33k on it. I called this morning to bring it in as it has a diesel exhaust fluid fault and is in limp mode, and I need to get to work which is in camp on Wednesday. No help at all, the earliest they can get it in is the 20th. I asked if another dealer could work on the vehicle and was told no not if its warranty, so I contacted Ford Canada and that is a lie. They didnt ask if they could get me a rental or anything so its going to the dealership across town as well as my business in the future. Sorry guys Im usually not this kind of person but when you spend 90k on a truck I expect a little better service than what is being given! I bought a truck here in 2012, was overcharged massively on it, and then was absolutely scammed when I made a trade here in 2014 again down to a simpler truck. Not only was I surprised to find out that even though there was an agreement that the payments would be on a 5 year term, making the trade of good value and the contract they had me sign was for a 7 year making the deal massively upside down, they lied to me about the truck’s history. I’m just finding out that there WAS an accident on it before the purchase. AND when I transferred over to the new truck, I had to chase them viciously for my refund on the original extra warranty I purchased for the original truck. Around 2000k that they told me wasn’t available to me but WAS. I was more naive at the time, but these people took COMPLETE ADVANTAGE. Do NOT trust them.

If only you could give zero stars. This dealership has absolutely no integrity and can’t be trusted. I made a deal on a new Navigator and had it in writing. After waiting for 2 days for their finance people to contact me I get a message telling me they are backing out of the deal because they had valued my trade in value incorrectly. When I pointed out that we had a deal I was met with what could best be described as “sorry but we made a mistake and can’t honour the deal. But if you would like to pay more we would still be happy to help you out”. I am paraphrasing here but I have the text messages of the exact conversation. This is actually a situation where I could probably force them to honour the deal but I wont bother. I’m just glad I didn’t end up doing business with these weasels. I will take my business elsewhere. I will also make sure I pass on to anyone I know in the Peace Region who is looking for a vehicle to steer clear of these guys.

Without it I don't get paid. Brad, Evan, Gary really get what it means to me. They do an outstanding job at getting me in as soon as possible, rectifying the problems and getting me back to work. They also do their best with pricing so I don t leave with that just lost my shirt feeling. Changing my review it was 5 star to start. Bought it from Jason and everything went smoothly. We owned our new ford escape for a week and I found a antifreeze leak and the block heater wasn't working. Booked it in to get fixed and was told nothing was wrong with anything. It didn't make any sense so I booked it in to my local dealer and they found all the problems and fixed everything. The service department wouldn't return my phone calls and after finally talking to the service manager all I got was I'm sorry we missed the problems.If this is the service a guy gets from them I would not buy another from them.

The dealership was eager to take advantage of me and my desperate situation and pressure me into buying a new truck but the moment I signed the papers their eagerness disappeared. A week after picking up my truck I'm still waiting of accessories I paid for to be installed despite being told they would be installed on my delivery day. The service was so bad I had to call their competitor Windsor Ford to get a service schedule so I know how to take care of my truck, despite having asked multiple times. Their justification of it being a "miscommunication" came after 5 days of silence and only after I sent in a negative review about my experience. The manager Dan, was quick to call, yell at me and treat me like garbage when they received honest feedback. Because of their "miscommunication " I've lost work and my customers have suffered and Hansen Ford does not care. Apparently they are taught to treat customers like garbage and raise their voice/talk down to them before admitting their mistakes (an odd customer service strategy for sure). A week later and still nothing is installed and I've had to make complaints to Ford Canada and AMVIC. This is my first and last Ford. The Chevrolet dealership located directly next to Hansen has been far better to my husband and provided genuine customer service. The 100+ customers I deal with every week will be referred to any OTHER dealership in GP before I send them to Hansen Ford. Never again! Now 8 days after buying my truck and Hansen Ford still hasn't been able to give me a day/time of when I will get the accessories I paid for installed on my truck and I continue to lose business as a result of it. Big thanks to Dan East the manager at Hansen ford for ruining my week and hurting my business. Now 11 days after my purchase and even though the service manager (Grant) said he would call me Monday (yesterday) I still have yet to hear anything from them about the accessories I purchased and have yet to be installed. I continue to manipulate my life and business around their truly terrible customer service. Apparently at Hansen Ford either their phones do not work or if my suspicions are correct they just don't care about their customers after they make the sale ( I am leaning towards the latter). Now 12 days after the sale and both the Colin the salesman and Dan the manager are ignoring my emails. Given that ford Canada hasn't followed up I'm just going to recommend to anyone reading this to buy anything but a Ford. My only solice in any of this is that I have steered 3 sales to other dealerships this week so they can avoid being taken advantage of, and wouldn't you know it they received actual customer service. Perhaps Hansen Ford should take lessons from their competitors. I have lost thousands of dollars in business because of Hansen Ford and they don't care. The greedy staff only care about one thing, making sales, they certainly don't care about how their actions hurt their customers. Thanks Hansen Ford

*Update: Brad Fjeld called me this morning and was patient as he listened to my concerns with our experience with this service department. I will acknowledge that Hansen Ford replaced our brake pads once we called them out for not replacing them when we were in for service. To be clear though, we paid for a maintenance package when we leased the vehicle 3 years ago. His reply to me seems to indicate that Hansen Ford was going above and beyond to deal with an unreasonable customer. Those brakes should have been replaced in June when the vehicle was in for maintenance. I appreciate that they made it right. Really, the main cause of my dissatisfaction is that we feel a distinct lack of trust in their service mechanics, and have a great deal of trouble taking their word for it that our brake system is, in fact, safe. Brad has offered to put the vehicle up on the hoist and look over the system with us, but not being mechanics, how can we trust his word even when looking at the brakes with him? I don't think it was an unreasonable request to have Hansen Ford pay a 3rd party mechanic to give us some reassurance that our brake system is safe, but Hansen Ford disagrees. It would certainly go a long way towards showing us that Hansen Ford is acting with integrity. It is hard to trust a company that let my wife and kid leave the dealership with virtually no back brakes on her truck, while indicating that they were almost new. Mistakes happen, it's how they are dealt with that leave an impression.* I found the service at this dealership to be vastly sub par. Google does not give you an option for a zero star rating, so I will leave a 1 star to reflect that the service desk help is fantastic (they really are awesome) - however, the actual work done on our vehicle did not seem to be completed done care or pride, and was not of the quality that I would expect from Ford until they were called out for what seemed like dishonest practices. We purchased a maintenance package when we got our truck, and the Quicklane techs clearly weren't actually examining all of the items on their checklist. As a result, they either put down a guess for how worn our brakes were, or straight up lied about the brakes so that they didn't have to replace them under warranty (which were supposed to be replaced with the maintenance package we opted for). When we took our vehicle in for a final inspection before buying out the lease we were told that the brakes only had 1mm left. This was not possible, as less than 2 months before this Quicklane indicated that they were at 8mm. After we showed proof that they were mistaken, they replaced the brake pads. When my wife was asked if she was satisfied with the service provided, she said no. At this point she was called into the office to talk to the Service Manager Brad, who let her know that they replaced the brakes even though they didn't have to. He was dismissive and unprofessional - while his staff were dressed appropriately, Brad was wearing track pants. Although his customer service staff were friendly and professional, I would definitely never bring another vehicle to this dealership for any work, warranty or otherwise. I will not be purchasing my new truck from Hansen Ford either. To be honest, the poor quality work and unprofessional Service manager at this dealership will make me think long and hard about I want to have another Ford Truck as long as I live in Grande Prairie. This is not a decision that I will make lightly, as I have driven only Ford vehicles for 30 years. I cannot emphasize how disappointed we are with Hansen Ford. I made sure that I took a few days to think about this before I posted, as it is really easy to blast out a reactionary post immediately after a negative experience. After letting it sink in for a long weekend (and receiving an email to give a review), I decided that I couldn't just let it go without expressing my dissatisfaction in the Hansen Ford experience. I will be sure to share my disappointing experience with friends and acquaintances from now on.

This place is very frustrating but, on the plus side at least they have attractive woman at the service desk. I booked my appointment a week in advance for first thing in the morning. They are very friendly and will smile and giggle as they're taking your keys while saying "Don't worry sir, we'll have your vehicle done today!". PERFECT.... then Hansen Ford shows its true colors. A phone call saying your truck has just made it in the shop at 4:00p.m. well that's great but, what about you saying "it will be done today". "We are open until 8:00p.m." what good is that when I'm down work at 5:00p.m. DON'T BOOK APPOINTMENTS THAT YOU CAN'T KEEP. My dentist and doctor charge me when I no show for my appointments so why the hell do I have to suck it up and reschedule my day..... and the next day to work around a bunch of unorganized, incompetent and fairly sexy (minus the mechanics) service personnel. SIMPLE... its Grande Prairie and that's the service we've come to accept and live with. WHO CARES if we screw over every person in this town and the surroundings we'll be MILLIONAIRES. I'll try Windsor next time but, I have a feeling its a case of same crap but different PILE. Just so you know this isn't my first bad experience and probably wont be my last. Don't get me wrong the only reason I actually go here is for my work truck. My personal vehicle doesn't go here

Started out a five star with the customer service over the phone. Ending up a one star when it comes to actually taking care of you. Twice I dropped my truck off the night before to be there early for an 8am book in time. Both times truck was not looked at until late afternoon. The first time, had warranty work done but the oil change was missed and added last minute. Advisor was great at getting it back in to have ready before they closed. Second time, had a common issue that everyone says takes a few hours to go through to see if all good. Instead they waited until 5pm before even looking at it. Went with the part that took 20 minutes to install last minute and kicked it back out at 5:30pm. Meanwhile the tech still noticed the vibration issues I was having, but handed it off to the advisors saying it was fixed!! Also to mention parts that were not meant to come off were missing and now I’m left to try to replace stuff that you cant buy individually. Have very little faith in the service work being done. Obviously they go for the short cuts and wait to charge you again if you decide to bring it back to get fixed. Which should have been done the first time!! Whats the point of booking it in at a certain time if that time is never even close to when you book it. Very unprofessional customer service at time management. My truck would’ve been ready before 10am, not 5:30pm if they pulled the same short cut when it was actually booked to go in. Instead of loosing a whole day with no vehicle.

Ford didn't have a solution so I had to wait three weeks for the parts. I mentioned Ford canada told me to ask about a complimentary rental until the parts came in but Hansen Ford did not even mentioned it or offered it to me.

Just reviewing the service department. Have had my truck for 4 years now and no matter what the truck is in there for (oil service, a weird sound, etc), their customer service is honestly really excellent. Just little things they don't need to do, but they do anyways, just to go above and beyond, is definitely appreciated and noticed. I've had it where I had the head mechanic do a very quick ride with me in my truck to show him the sound I was hearing and that 5 mins he took to ease my concerns was awesome. Many other little things they do like that, but this is just one example and very happy.

BAD SERVICE. Last Tuesday July 2, 2019 my F150 was leaking transmission fluid when I was at the GP mall. I drove directly to Hansen Ford to get the truck in for service. I told the service rep what was happening and he asked me if I had an appointment. =( I again explained what was going on and he asked again "so you don't have an appointment?". REALLY. He then came out to the truck to get the mileage and that's when he could see the large puddle of transmission fluid under the truck. I was informed that they would try to look at it as soon as possible. No word on Wednesday. Finally on Thursday after I called, someone said they would look into my truck. They called me back later in the day to inform me the transmission was completely destroyed and they were working with First Canadian on the warranty. I was assured there would be no issues and they were looking into a rental for me. On Friday I heard back from the service department that First Canadian is not going to offer the warranty for the transmission. I have 118600 km on this truck and the warranty expired on June 3, 2019. My coverage was 6 years / 160000 coverage. The transmission completely failed 29 days after warranty coverage!!! The repair is approximately $8400 and neither Hansen Ford nor Ford of Canada is stepping up. I was so upset that I told the service rep that I needed some time. As of today, Monday July 8th, no call from the service rep, no call from the service manager!! This dealer has the WORST service department that I have ever dealt with. My truck has never seen any other service department other than Hansen Ford since new. I have a complete bumper to bumper service contract as well so everything should have been taken care of. I was just in the shop for a regular oil change in May and asked them to make sure everything was checked. And now they will not stand behind their product. Think hard before you support Hansen Ford.

We dropped in when we were in Grande Prairie because we noticed after we had left the last time that the right front turn signal wasn't working. When we returned on August 3/4 we asked them to replace the bulb. The person told us to leave the car and it would be about an hour or so and he would call us to pick up the car. When we received the call it was to tell us that they did not have a light and had to get one and we would not be able to pick up the car until the next day. He said they would do a service for us and change the wiper blades. They said they would not be able to do a courtesy cleaning but next time they would to an extra cleaning. I did not receive a report outlining everything that was done. We seem to have a problem every time we come to this dealership whether it is booked or not.

Went to go and test drive the 2019 ford ranger, they let me take it for 24hrs to see how I liked it which was very helpful. It didnt end up fitting my budget but the sales staff were understanding and did not try to push me on a purchase like many of the other dealerships in GP. If I end up buying a new vehicle I will return to them.

This place is a joke. They gouge you on the prices for parts, and do shoddy work. I brought in my truck to have a clutch replacement done. They wanted to charge me 2200.00 dollars and had the truck for over a month. Terrible customer service, would not keep me updated on the status of the vehicle. Eventually I pulled the truck from them after five plus weeks and will never do business with this lot ever again. You are better off finding somewhere else for any truck needs, buyer beware. The Viking is appropriate for their ad campaign because the want to pillage and do non consenting things to your wallet!

I would NOT recommend Jim Hansen Used Dealership. I was lulled into a false sense of security with their mechanical inspection and trusted their verbal commitments at the time of purchased. Later it was revealed that they would not honor these commitments and I was trapped by what I feel are inconsistencies in their contracts. The whole situation was made worse by their lack of customer service.

We brought in one of our work F-150's for issues with the tailgate being abnormally hard to open and close. We received a call back saying the work was completed only a couple hours later and I was pretty happy to hear this. Upon picking it up and reviewing the work order it said that they had accessed the interior of the tailgate and lubed up the mechanical parts and the issue was resolved. I attempted to open the tailgate and still had the same issue as before it was dropped off. I looked at the access panel and could see that the bolts had some dried mud on them which hadn't been disturbed, indicating to me that no one had actually been inside the tailgate. I was charged over $300 for a service I never received. To their credit they did immediately rectify the incident but if I had never checked it out myself they would have ripped me off.

That being said I have received a phone call from the dealership to check in on my concerns, and I feel that they listened to me as a customer they are able to explain the work and were quite professional in how they conducted themselves. I often get my oil changes done here because I like the multi point inspection done on my vehicle to make sure it is in good running order. The last time I had an oil change I didn't receive my inspection report so I made sure this time I would ask for it. I was told when I paid for my service it would be emailed to me as it was not with my paperwork. I recieved an email later in the day but it was not my report. I called to ask again for my report and was told it would be sent to me. I waited another day and I still have not recieved it. I am thinking an inspection may not have even been done? Other than these recent issues I haven't had any complaints. UPDATE: Recieved my inspection report first thing next morning after writing this. Thank you for rectifying this so quickly.

Would like to leave a no star review but in order to leave a post you gave to rate in stars well I give a Zero. My parents bought a new Lincoln about 5 years back It was a fully loaded MKS , Bought all the warranties possible Glass, paint, tires, etc. They where promised loaners when in for service and all the jazz that comes with buying a $65,000 car, At first it was grand but after about 2 years I guess the romance wore off. My 70 yr old dad would drop the car off and he would be told sorry no loaner and noone could give him a ride home. 2 winters and they didn't have a block heater cord yet one was listed in the documentation Dad took it in and was a bit firm about needing one and they charged him a service fee to find and route the cord ! Then they became more and more restrictive saying this isnt covered that isnt covered yet in documentation it is indeed covered. 100,000 KM tire warranty ( The vehicle has 65,000 Km on it ) yet 1 week after a service where the tech told my parents their tires where good for another year. My dad went to move some stuff to Edmonton when he returned the one rear tire was SHREDDED !!!! Any one with eyes could tell the tire would not make it much longer! Had to drive 6 hours on the donut to get home, besides the fact it could have blown and possibly sent my dad into the ditch or worse !!!! My parents are not rich they where budgeting for a new set of tires next year, We are trying to get ford involved as Hansen always gives a runaround. Lady on the phone told my mom last year after a crackhead slashed one of their tires that after 3 tire claims they get a free set ( as per warranty ) well guys its now been 4 and nothing. We are escalating this to ford head office as I'm tired of seeing my dad walk everywhere as he doesn't want to wear out whats left of the car ! At Hansen your only as important as your last invoice I guess which is sad ...

So many things to say, not enough space. Here are some highlights. Finance department tried to manipulate numbers upon sale. Upon catching them in a lie she said "I'll have to get the next customer, still early in the month so shouldnt be a problem" Service department lies as well to push you out the door. I have bumper to bumper warranty and maintenance package but yet they charge me to verify if a sensor is working for not. They claimed it was good so i had to pay for the diagnosis. 6 months later issue is still not fixed and sensor is causing my truck to drive in reduced power. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone. They still use a 4 square for sales if you know what that is. Old school rip off mentality. Guess they can get away with it in a town full of younger people with more money than brains.

Chris,I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your salesmanship and the effort you made.Lee is happy with his new F150 .Our only opportunity is that we wish other parts of you team had been a little more realistic about the deal from the start and we would have been ok with the one purchase.it was the waiting and the time it took.i do realize that many people did try.However in my retail experience I believe you need to honest and up front with your customer from the beginning.Once again we asked for a 2 vechile deal and once again we walk away with only one and I am still driving the truck I did not want in the first place and was left with no options except to drive a vechile and a brand I no longer care to support.. For this reason I will not deal with Ford again and neither will Lee. Thank you

We had a trip planned on Friday last week and when I woke up Thursday morning my truck would not start. I called Ford Roadside and they let me know that it would be approximately 5 hrs before they would be able to tow my truck into Hansen Ford. I told my wife to cancel the trip and assumed i'd be picking up my truck sometime next week. My truck arrived at Hansen approximately 2:30 pm Thursday( They had called and told me it had arrived.) I spoke with Brad in their service department and told him what we had planned and we had cancelled ETC. He advised me he would do all he could to get my truck done for us before closing. Not only was this a shock to hear,it was even a bigger shock when he called at 4:59 pm and told me truck was ready for pick-up! This has been an excellent experience for us and one we very much appreciated, our weekend was saved, I will recommend Hansen Ford service to everyone. We had a great experience with Troy T. He's got a great attitude, very well spoken and not once rushed us throughout our purchase. As a matter of fact, he offered us his contact information so we could text or call at anytime with questions. Any time we texted or called, he was quick to respond and took the time to find an answer. What I liked about Troy, was that he understood that purchasing a car to us meant taking the time to review various options. Troy called and texted throughout the process and we appreciated this very much. He remembered my children and asked about them in a form that expressed a genuine interest in them and us. We did buy a vehicle, at pick up, Troy was there until the very end and made sure we had everything in order. Although, we were missing a few items requested, at the time of pick up. By the time I dealt with Hanson Ford I was extremely frustrated with Deny Andrews Ford in Edmonton. I had spent over 2 months trying to buy my lease truck. Nothing, nothing, nothing. The process of buying took three days which seemed to take too long. The details of the features of the vehicle were not well conveyed and the salesman didn't seem to be sure of the features either. When paperwork was presented additions were made that were not approved by the buyer, such as $150 for gas, $600 for undercoating, $600 for "administration" fees, $495 for "security" etc. We were also promoted to give a favourable comment when this questionnaire came through so the seller could receive a monetary bonus. Complete honesty is always the best policy.

Don't go here to get your vehicle serviced or have a check engine light checked on unless you want to pay them almost 800 dollars for a "inspection" on the rest of the vehicle that you didn't ask for! Because they will hold your vehicle until you pay them. Extremely poor business practices! Proper multi point inspection's are done free just about any shop you go to because you make money off the labour and parts the customer needs replaced not just giving the "inspection" without at least the owners consent
