I had a few issues from previous maintenance performed on my vehicle, and Aimee the Service Manager and I spoke about it in detail. After our discussion I booked my car in for significant maintenance (timing belt, water pump, valve adjustment, oil pan gasket replacement). I picked my vehicle up and when I got home I saw a long trail of oil running along my driveway and saw oil pooling under my car. I immediately called Aimee (close to 7 PM at this point- I didn't expect to reach anyone), and to her credit she lined up a tow truck and brought my vehicle in so it could be looked at first thing in the morning, as I was heading down to Edmonton to be with my kids for the weekend. The issue was an incorrectly installed oil pan gasket. The oil pan gasket was repaired, all the smells of oil-on-exhaust coming into the vehicle were cleaned up (I couldn't smell anything) and the vehicle had no issues down to Edmonton and back. Its never about the fumble, its about the recovery and I feel that due to Aimee's rapid response and attention to make this right was exactly that. I was understandably upset initially, and to Aimee's credit she was calm, poised and professional which helped me calm down as well. It is these qualities that has won my repeat business. However, I am displeased with the technician. This job took longer than it should've due to nuts/ bolts seized from nearly 20 years of oil and road grime and no doubt in my mind this affected the technician's attention to detail. This work normally would've been easier for the technician on a newer car, but with my Honda being 20 years old it was more difficult and slowed him down. Most dealerships in my experience pay their technicians by the piece instead of hourly, and if this is the case here then this job may have "cost him money". His give-a-care attitude went out the window, evidenced by oil all over the top of the motor, hoses, fender walls, air filter housing, car hood and most disturbingly the driver's side door handle. He couldn't even bother to clean up the door handle? Makes me wonder what else didn't he do properly. Aimee made it right by having the engine bay, undercarriage cleaned as well as the door handle. For this I am grateful, and will come back again but regardless I am now wary of getting extensive engine repairs made with this technician who is "one of the best" at the GP dealership

An Emissions light came on in my Honda CRV last Wednesday. Called GP Honda Thursday morning to see if we could get in that day as we were travelling to GP anyways for another appointment. They got us in and even gave us a loaner car to get to our other appointment. We really appreciated this and did not expect it. Hoping next week goes as well when I have to take it back to have part installed. ????

Took my 2005 Element in for a recall this morning. The young Lady at vehicle customer service, Julia was both knowledgeable and polite as well as being accomadations. Besides the recall I had a couple other issues which needed to be dealt with and she efficiently made that happen. She also suggested I take care of a headlight problem I was having and arranged for that to be done all at the same time. I'm quite pleased with my experience and will be returning for regular service on this vehicle. Clyde Gill.

They were very transparent with my appointment and how they were running behind. Give me excellent service on arrival, shuttle me home which was great. Received a call saying my car was finish and the shuttle was already in its way for me. Picking up was quick and easy. They explain what they did and the charge. Excellent team.

I had to get an out of province inspection done on my truck and it needed some brake shoes to be replaced and they got it done super fast and got me my inspection paperwork so I can insure my vehicle. Will definitely be using them for any other vehicle repairs in the future.

Vehicle was brought in two weeks ago and I was told 1 part needed replacement. When the parts came in I was told it would take 2 hours to complete the repairs. The vehicle was not ready at the agreed time. An additional problem was reported to me when I called to find out if my vehicle was ready. It wasn’t ready. I received no call to advise me of a delay. Poor communication on the part of staff. I spoke with 3 different staff members and I had to explain myself each time. Poor service.

The service is always good when it finally gets done, however we had to start servicing our vehicle elsewhere because they never seem to be able to complete service work by appointment. Twice now we have been stuck with no way to pick up the kids from school while waiting on a simple oil change that we had booked an morning appointment for. We call and ask them to guarantee our scheduled time for future appointments and they will not, without even a second thought. Its unfortunate as other service departments provide greater value, in our minds, with more of a customer focused approach to being accountable to completing work on time, instead of excuses and over booking.

They are a money grab. Told me I should look into trading in my van cause i need a new transmission and it shifts hard (my van drives smooth and has lots of power) I think a sensor is faulty they also told me I had leaks everywhere all seals needed to be replaced. DON'T GO HERE FOR SERVICE. As of April 6 2021 I have not put any extra liquids into the leaking everywhere and still drive it with the faulty sensor

Hi, my name is Jason and I have problem...I can't keep a vehicle for more than a year, two tops. ????‍♂️ I've bought a lot of new vehicles over the years and have become accustomed to being jerked around by the typical weasel car salesman. Your tires are worn 5% more than you stated... that's going to cost us 2k to replace them, there's a dime sized stain on the carpet in the back under the car mat... that's going to be an expensive clean... there's no way we can give you what we quoted you on the trade in now. I went into Grande Prairie Honda ready for a fight, just waiting for them to make their bend you over move. It was the strangest experience though... it just never happen. It was hands down the best buying experience I've had at a dealership. I was in and out in around an hour, driving away with my new vehicle. They didn't try to add a cent to the quoted purchase price. They didn't push their unwanted warranties or undercoats and they didn't try to nickel and dime down my trade. Mitch was great to work with and had all the right answers to our questions. He also managed to beat the best prices I found in Edmonton or Calgary and matched their trade in amount. Just a stellar over all experience. I definitely recommend this dealership and Mitch for a great buying experience.

We worked with Nick over the telephone to learn a little more about the Honda Ridgeline advertised at GP Honda. He made us a video of the truck and then presented our offer to Chris, sales manager. One conversation later we had agreed on a very fair price. We live in Edmonton so the no hassle treatment was a hugely appreciated. GP Honda offered to deliver us the truck but in the end we drove to Grande Prairie and took possession. The truck was detailed, the business office was ready for us, Nick went through the vehicle and we were headed back to Edmonton. We enjoyed working with Grande Prairie Honda for three reasons. They were honest and forthright over the telephone, attentive to all my questions and then fully prepared for the delivery of the vehicle. Nicely Done. William King.

Bud, my salesman, is a very down to earth gentleman that kept me in mind with what I was wanting in a vehicle. He fought hard for my business without being pushy or overbearing. I don't live in (nor close to) GP so making the trip for service includes a precisely scheduled shopping trip in order to get home in time for other responsibilities. Service on my recently purchased newer CR-V (from GP Honda) was on time and fast. I was lucky enough to get use of a loaner to get my shopping done which improved my turnaround time to get home. THE best part was that I had a BATTERY TENDER installed which has proved invaluable during the recent stretches of -40+ temps parked outside. Service desk staff are great communicators and I appreciate that. I have been a customer for over 6 years now and continue coming back.

Customer service (Powersports) was sub-par. Repeatedly called to speak to someone regarding status of ATV service. On hold forever, then reception says someone will call me back and they never did. Then I finally get a hold of them at the end of day and the ATV was complete the day before. So I could have had it sooner (used for business - so lost two working days it should have been used). When I able to finally pick it up I asked to speak to the service manger. She was receptive to the concerns and provided her contact information in the event I have issues in the future. She also followed with a phone call later to clear up some misunderstandings. This review has been edited to reflect the misunderstandings and review rating adjusted accordingly.

I took my Odyssey in for routine service at the end of December. At that appt it was found that my high mount brake light was out. I was told that it would cost $89.49 to replace it, as "it does take 30 mins for the install". I had never replaced that bulb before, and don't know much about vehicle mechanics, but 30 mins to change a light bulb seemed odd. I ended up buying the bulb and changing it myself. With no experience it took me about 1.5 mins; it should take a skilled technician less. I don't know what is more concerning, that Honda would say it would take 30 mins or that it would actually take someone there 30 mins to change the bulb. You'd think with a $300 service package the labor for a bulb change might be included. At a previous visit I found a hidden charge for checking the air pressure of the tires. I will be getting my vehicle service done elsewhere now.

They have being selling scratched Toyota Highlander for almost $40000 and expected that someone would buy it and the funniest moment that when scratches were spotted, guy who was selling it, said that he is not going to fix everything. Just wanna warm people who are going to buy something there, don’t buy vehicle before it’s washed properly.

Recently attempted to purchase a certified used Honda. I payed for delivery. Car showed up dirty, manager refused to wash. After quick inspection, car was definitely not certified and, had not been serviced anytime recently. The car was even missing the lower engine cover; causing the engine bay to be full of dirt and sand. I did not accept car. Manager still charged me for delivery. Terrible experience. Will not be buying a new or "certified" Honda anytime soon. Thank you.

I had brought my vehicle in for an oil change and ended up having an amazing chat with this lady at the front desk in their service department. I am very grateful to have these experiences as it shows that there are people that you can trust and actually value your time and business in these businesses. It is good to see customer service being honored so well especially in Grande prairie.
