Crooked They blame issues on owners and not having vehicles serviced at their dealer. Say my issues are not common. However most owners I talk to have the exact same issues with their Honda civics (2012+). Typical dealer. Pass on blame and are only out to make money. I would never buy a Honda again. Especially from them. Not sure why there are so many on the road. Lots of suckers out there I guess!

A couple months ago now my wife and I were in the market for a good used CRV. Being that we lived in the HRM we started shopping in this area first. Looking locally at used lots as well as local new dealers. We found some suitable vehicles but were not able to come to a satisfactory conclusion until we met Allan Janes and the team at Ceilidh Honda. Not only did we find the exact vehicle we were looking for but we also found a dealership that went above and beyond to make sure we felt we were being looked after. I cannot recommend these folks enough. They went above and beyond. They were fair on price and looked after all of the details. Will return for repeat business for sure because of the staff and the feel of the dealership. Much more "at home" feel vs. dealers in the HRM.

I would recommend Ceilidh Honda to anyone. I have never been disappointed with the service. They go above and beyond. Even small things like pairing your phone to showing you how to play music through Bluetooth. Everyone at Ceilidh Honda should take a bow and a kudos for excellent customer service.

I purchased a new 2019 Civic Hatchback in Polished Metal Metallic color. I highly recommend the dealership and my sales person Allan Janes. Allan was very pleasant to deal with. But what really made me decide to go with them is that they greatly valued my business. For instance, 1) I live in Halifax but Ceilidh Honda was very willing to do business with me. 2) They didn't have the vehicle in that color on their lot, but Allan worked hard to secure one from NB for me. 3) Allan also made sure I get a decent deal and the price was on par with any other dealership. Even if you live in HRM or anywhere else for that matter, I highly recommend you check these guys out.

Purchased a used CRV online at Ceilidh. Delivered to my house! An issue happened within few days of ownership and we brought it back to Ceilidh Honda for some warranty/service work. We were greated polietly by the service staff and the dealers furbaby mascot which kept my puppy entertained and everyone else in smiles. Being from a larger city I really appreciated the small town vibe! This is a very friendly down home dealership that stands behind their product. I got here for all my motorcycle needs, and only one of my bikes (out of 4) are a Honda, so thats saying something. Service has always been great and cost is what you would get/expect from anywhere. Reason for only 4 starts is twice I have gone in for parts, been told I can't buy them, only to call the manufacture to be told I COULD buy them and Honda Powerhouse was the distributor in my area. I think it was just laziness (didn't want to check catalogs) from whom was working the counter at the time, so I do avoid getting parts when they are working now.

If you want to buy a Honda, go somewhere else. Here is our story trying to buy a CRV from them. We took a Monday off work to purchase a CRV and were travelling from Halifax, around 10am we were told the suv needs to go to the shop but rest assured it will be held for us once the timing belt was replaced. Offered to make a deposit but was advised it would not be needed and the vehicle will be held for us. Wednesday we are asked if we can come see the suv on Thursday as it will be fixed in the morning. We work thru the week, already taking Monday off, we would not be able to make it till Saturday first thing in the morning. We were told it will be first come first serve but would accept a $1,000 dollar non refundable deposit to hold it as an elderly lady is interested in buying it. WOW!!!!! We were told it was going to be held while they were showing other buyers the suv, then were told to make a $1,000 dollar non refundable deposit or it will get sold. Talk about pressure selling. We never had worked with such a difficult dealership in my life. Will be going to another Honda dealer for our purchase. I highly doubt they will ever be receiving my business as well as any of my family or friends in the future.

Ill give it one star because the guy seemed decent but overall they get zero stars. First of all do not try to tell me that my car has issues because it was not serviced at Honda. Was my car not all honda parts when I first purchased it brand new off of your lot? Then why did I have to replace everything at 30,000kms? Why do I go through tires like crazy even after alignments..one of which was done at Honda? How do you explain the horrendous road noise it had since day one? The finance lady told me it was because I dont undercoat my car. (I will get to her shortly.) My navigation was out of date since day one. Every road you type in is in an "unverified area". The only thing Ive yet to have an issue with is the sunroof and I likely just jinxed myself. Think its just me? Google other people who have dealt with the same thing and it will prove my point. I test drove the new civic and was rather unimpressed. I was offered 6 grand less than what cars with same mileage and body style is selling for on kijiji. Still convinced I was interested in this car the salesman took me to the finance lady. I dont trust her. I didnt disclose all my finances with her as I didnt feel like I could trust her and my instincts were right. I told her I only work a shift a month as I am in school. After she had all my information I decided not to let her continue because I wouldnt get approved with the information I gave her. Then she said.. "You wouldnt get improved unless I fudge the numbers". Theres honesty. So when they want to see my last pay stub to prove those numbers you "fudged" and I can't then who does that reflect on? Exactly. So I said nevermind I think now that my car is pretty well paid off that I will drive payment free for a bit. So then she writes down my social insurance number and where i work on the back of a piece of paper. I asked why she did that and she said she did it incase I come back. As if the next time I came I wouldnt remember my SIN and where I work? Never should anyone keep your personal information. Anyways I am just mindblown over the whole situation. Ill never buy another Honda. I want a vehicle that says Sucessful.. Honda says cheap and poor service and dishonesty.
