Been waiting and waiting for information/details on a used truck they have here after I sent in the requested information they wanted. I think I received (1) 4 word email from the sales guy. I've decided to move on and look elsewhere. Lost sale. I've heard quite a few negative things about this place. Probably for the best I've decided to move on.

We were on the road, camping, for ten days with 4 kids 11 and under, and our Sienna suffered a window malfunction. Ken, the service manager, squeezed us in and the mechanic quickly got us back on the road. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Can't thank them enough!

I drive 2 hours from Halifax region to make my purchases and have all my service completed at Anchor Motors. Every aspect from initiating the service call set-up, to greeting and detailed technical explanation of what must be attended to and "why" and settling the account is always handled professionally, but with a touch of "down-home" humility. Only disappointment is that the free cookies and popcorn is no longer available ... but that's on COVID ; )

Looking for a previously owned Vehicle. Met Owen who helped us with my purchase of a previously owned vehicle.2015 journey. It was easy no hassle and the entire transaction felt genuine. They threw in a free oil change with the purchase as the vehicle was not ready on time for for pickup . Had an issue, took the vehicle in and immediately it was dealt with and returned to us. Andre was great. Professional caring and wonderful service. Highly recommend. Client care is optimal for this dealership. New or pre owned. They take care of you.

Called to book an oil change-waited 5+ minutes and thought there must be an error in the call transfer. Hung up and recalled. The gentleman who answered transferred me once again to wait to book an appointment. Waited 7:22 and hung up again. Recalled and asked for a manager but they were all in meetings? So was once more transferred and placed on hold. Held for 20:07 minutes until someone answered. I realize this is trying times with Covid etc but really over 20 minutes to book an oil change. Where is the customer service?? Only trying to get new sales and no service?! Maybe time to switch dealerships and makes.

Service department can't even be bothered to remove the leafs from the cabin air fan when up charging the cabin air filter. Sounded like a kids bike with a playing card the the spokes. This happened twice, next time I will buy a filter and change it my self. This silly detail is an example of what they don't do even when you pay for the service. I can't wait until my warranty is up I will do my service my self. Like my other two Toyota's.

Recently I purchased a used 2015 Rav 4 from Amherst Toyota during the covid outbreak.I normally would have gone to a closer dealer Anchor Toyota being my first choice.At that time inventory of used vehicles was low , so I was forced to deal with Amherst.Big mistake!First issue I had was a three month old MVI and a O2 sensor code on delivery.They sent to their service dept and said O2 was replaced and I returned several weeks later and had new MVI.At that time I mentioned brake noise and was told brakes were serviced before purchased and the car had been in there service since new. Forward to 7 months down the road,I had Abs,AWD, Steering sensor warning lights light up ,loss of AWD,ABS and power steering.I called the warranty provider to get authorization before taking to Anchor Toyota and was told Amherst cancelled it 12 minutes after it was put in place.I paid $2800 for this service.Notified Amherst Toyota, they said they would try to get reinstated or refund premium. I called Anchor Toyota and from the first chat with their service rep I knew the level of service and customer care was far superior.She set me up with a service appointment immediately ,and spoke to Andre about finding me a loaner car ,as there were no car rentals available anywhere due to covid restrictions.He gave me brand Corolla to drive home with gas coupon.Andre and his team then looked at the car and found I had several problems Steering sensor and 2 wheel bearings badly worn.He also noted brakes had only had new pads and not the rotors replaced.They replaced the defective bearings and steering sensor and then had an O2 sensor failure.Andre then went to bat for me and called Amherst Toyota about the brakes , pads and rotors and 02 sensor and got a PO # to repair them.Amherst also agreed to give me some cash toward repair of the 1 bearing and sensor.Andre replaced to other bearing no fee. In the end I now have a safe vehicle to drive thanks to Andre’s high level of care and service from him and his team Anchor Toyota. My thanks to everyone at Anchor Toyota who make doing business with them comfortable experience,I highly recommend them!

Anchor Toyota. The worst experience I ever had. I really really wished I never had gone there for my service. I have owned 7 Toyota Tacoma in the past 32 years. I decided not to buy another truck from Toyota again. It's a very sad day for me.I was a VERY die hard Tacoma person but never again thanks Anchor Toyota you really put a end to something that meant the world to me

Bought a used 2011 Tacoma back in July. The second day of owning the vehicle, whilst on a trip to Superstore. The Steering Rack blew out. I recieved top notch service - New rack - New lines - Free However, recently I took the truck in to get a Transmission flush done on it. I wasn't sure if it was ever completed beforehand, so instead of doing it for the first time myself. I payed Toyota to do it. Lovely service, took it right in. BUT when I got the vehicle back, I noticed the airbag light on. Took it back, they put it on the computer reader ( Free of charge I might add) and told it was the Clock Spring. And it couldn't have been them that broke it, because they were working on the transmission. So I asked for a price. -475 dollors ( part only) - 4 hours to change part ( 200$) labour I didn't care muchly for that answer. So I bought the same part (OEM) from a Toyota dealer in the United States. -Paid 89.95 for part - 30 minutes to install ( alone I might add) So really I've had good and bad experiences with this Toyota, which in my opinion garners 3 Stars
