The inside of the place is a bit rough. However, they do care about their business and have decent reputation to maintain. The salespersons and maintenance staff are competent. Negotiation is rational and mutually respectful. The business can benefit from some renovations inside but I guess businesses exist to make profit first then provide comfortable experience second.

Told them over the phone I wanted a part replaced and an oil change. If anything else came up to contact me before adding any additional charges. They invoice me with the cost of changing the part plus a 279 dollar diagnosis fee and a 214 dollar oil change. Service advisor Dean Martin is a lizard neck scumbag. Chris helped me sort out the ridiculous charges and we settled on a price that was closer to what it was supposed to be. Still wouldn't reccomend this stealership.

I bought a 2013 Dodge Dart at Southbank. The salesman Robbie was awesome, super helpful and available. Highly recommend. Everyone from Robbie to the managers to the finance team was very accommodating and I'm still happy with the purchase, I've had no issues or anything come up with the car at all and Robbie even took the time to set up all the Bluetooth and phone connections for me at the time of pickup which was great. My only negative was the surprise $999 admin fee they wanted to charge me at the time of purchase. They ended up waiving it in the end but I was not impressed when I found out. I didn't see anything about this on their website while researching beforehand and have since heard this isn't allowed in Ontario. Overall a positive experience, and I'd definitely buy there again. Great selection of cars, and overall good staff ready to help

First of the sales guy who helped me purchased my Jeep was amazing his name is Moe. Other than that, it was one of the worst experiences in my life. Spent over $1000 for rust inhibitor that wasn't even applied to my jeep yet and no one ever notified me about anything. After speaking with the Service manager and the GM they took really good care of my Jeep. Picked up my jeep and it looked brand new again. They even waxed my jeep and cleaned the brakes. Thank you

I popped in on a Sunday as I was in the neighbourhood and they happened to be open which was the start of the best, least stressful car purchase experience I have ever had. Every member of the team was friendly. The overall approach was very cards on the table and low pressure. Tim the service mechanic tower manager personally inspected my car after i explained the issue to him and diagnosed the problem and it was fixed properly the first time. I would like to sher something about south bank dodge my son was working there for almost a year he had a big dream of becoming a Technician and work very hard was at work every day and did a very good job and management would tell him that all the time but they have a manager in the place called Tyler Parker and he likes to take technicians and put them on multiple jobs at the same time wish resulted in someone’s vehicle getting very poor service when the costumer complete about it my son was fired bye upper management and Tyler Parker was sent home for the day just thought the public should know about this and how they take care of there employees and customers

I was told to bring in the car at before 9 am for a scheduled repair. At 3:40 pm I called and it was just being serviced. It took until 5:20 pm to do a small fix and oil change. Way too long! Why have me make arrangements to drop it off at 9 if it won't be serviced until 3?

Like many people I like the process of buying a new car about a much as having a tooth pulled. That being said, the staff at Southbank Dodge made the process almost painless. From our first meeting with John our sales rep through meeting with Ala who took our money and on to Rodrigo who delivered our new vehicle everything went smoothly. We felt like we got a fair deal on our new car and a reasonable deal for our trade in. There was a small scratch on the driver’s door and the staff went to the trouble of ordering us a paint pen. They also have followed up to ensure we are happy with our purchase. However, I booked my appointment the week before to get a recall actioned, only to find out when I returned to pick up my car that the recall could not be done because the part was not in stock. Let me first mention mention that the front office person and one of the sales guys who helped me with my test drive were awesome! Other than that, it was one of the worst experiences in my life! I am new to Canada and was looking to buy my first car, and thankfully I didn't get it form here. Saw a used Ford Focus that I liked. The test drive went well, and I almost decided to buy this car. Then came my meeting with the sales/finance manager who tried to confuse and intimidate me. He told me at least a 50 times that all the banks have rejected my finance application and that he was trying to get me the best deal. A vehicle that was $15800 on the website was suddenly $18000 BEFORE TAX!!! He was unable to answer my question properly on why the increase in price and when he understood that I am not buying to his nonsense, he told me he will give me a call back in 30 minutes. That was 2 days ago. Never got a call and I am glad he never did, because I got a great deal with mycar.ca and their customer service is awesome! I DO NOT recommend this place to anybody!

We recently ordered/purchased a car from southbank dodge. We placed the order 2 months ago, agreed to a price, signed on a price and were guaranteed that price and any discounts/promotions should any new deals exist between the time of our order and delivery. Our vehicle was finally ready and on the day before pick up my husband dropped off the plates. He discussed with the finance manager monthly payments given different down payments. We finally decided on a down payment and the finance manager confirmed our monthly amount (based on the same signed and agreed upon pricing months prior). The next day when we went to pick up the vehicle, leave our down payment and sign on financing, the msrp and Uconnect price on the vehicle changed without notice. The agreement was not the same agreement we signed months ago. The finance manger (Romy) insisted that prices are subject to change based on factory pricing. I guess he wasn’t expecting us to notice or at least was hoping we wouldn’t. We asked to speak to the manager and the manager corroborated his lie and refused to change the price to what we agreed to months ago. I figured it wasn’t true so I called the fca 1-800 number (while in the office with the finance manager) and fca confirmed that they do not raise msrp prices and it’s all up to the dealership. Note that the day before over the phone, the finance manager again confirmed our agreed to price months prior. He tried to sell us warranty and we refused. I wonder if that triggered them to raise the price. Or perhaps they changed their mind and figured they’d make more money selling to someone else at a higher price since they were already giving us such a good deal. After the fca confirmed what we suspected (southbank dodge last minute price change) Romy and Sales manager insisted that the factory knows nothing and it was the factor that changed the price. We ended up leaving the dealership without the car we ordered. Not because we didn’t want to pay a little bit more as it still was a good deal but because the finance and sales manager so unethically changed the price without informing us, slipped the papers in front of us and hoped we didn’t noticed, lied over the phone on the price we thought we’d be paying monthly, continued to lie about the price change being the fault of the factory, and of course not honouring the agreed to price signed months ago. I am happy paying more for a car from a dealership with principle and honesty. DO not purchase from these scammers please.

I'm surprised they stayed up late to serve me. They have a convenient location and a large lot of economically priced cars. They treat you better than other dealerships. Make sure you pay attention to what they say so you'll know exactly what's going on. Regardless they are willing to negotiate and are looking to help you out. Be prepared to ask questions so fo your homework before coming in.

Over all positive experience. So e small issue that were resolved. Mostly attention to detail items. Although fuel was topped off DEF was not nor was washer fluid. It would appear an inspection was preformed before sale but was rushed. Chip in windshield not mentioned and burned out lights. They did replace the lights at no charge. After speaking with GM Dave, they have taken steps to make everything right.

While I generally dislike shopping for vehicles I found the experience at Southbank to be friendly and easy going and not just with sales rep, but also with the sales manager and finance guy. Polite and informative salesperson on purchase of used Mini Cooper S. Clear that this vehicle not familiar to staff. Car delivered on scheduled date but with active tire pressure warning light. As it turned out, this was corrected by doing a computer reset, but it caused worry, aggravation and distrust. Also, despite following up at the time with sales staff and being told to expect a call from Service the next day, no call came. I figured out the issue on my own. While I appreciate the four new tires installed (in hopes of correcting the issue) they likely were not necessary.

Service was fine. However, the lack of caring about mask protocols was appalling. We have literally been in a pandemic for a year & 1/2. How is this still an issue. Why do the staff feel it is ok to walk around with no mask or their mask half off their face? Do they not care about themselves, each other or their customers? It is absolutely ridiculous that I have to say this in October of 2021. Do I have to wear a mask all day every day at work? Yes. Do I like it? Not particularly, but I would rather not get COVID and then pass it along to my customers, who are at the highest risk. This is not my first complaint to SouthBank about this issue.

Dealt with a really nice guy named John that completely wasted an hour and a half of my life. I was crystal clear on the price point I needed to be at, based on other like models sold in the city. I even said that if he wasn't going to be able to get remotely close to that price not to waste my time. He encouraged me to come in. They were at $3500 more than my offer and kept saying "give me another offer" without ever budging from their starting price. John do yourself and the next guy a favour and tell them if you can't make it happen. Resp- I can forward you a message sent prior to leaving my house that directly addresses weather I am way off or not, to which he responds encouraging me to come in. There was no confusion or misunderstanding.

Southbank was the only dealer who responded with actual useful information when I submitted a quote request from the main Dodge site. The other two dealers responded with fluff and pressure sales. In person, everyone was really friendly. As a passenger, I got to sit in the front seat for the test drive instead of the backseat, like with most other dealers we've dealt with. Kyle McTaggart was our sales consultant and he is friendly and easy-going. We didn't feel pressured to buy off the lot, but they offered us a great deal on a van that came with more features than we needed at the same price as what we had in mind, so we are happy. :)

The oil change was done promptly. The work order indicated that fluids were top up but it does not seem to apply to the DEF as it was not done (just missing a quarter so nothing major).

On our first day visiting the dealership it was great service. Our dealer was new, but he was kind and tried to find us good cars (used) within our price range. But we wanted to shop around a bit, so he brought his manager over, and they said they could give us a deal that would "knock our socks off" we kindly declined and said we would contact them the following day after 1pm, giving them an hour notice to us showing up. They both were off for the day but said it would be no issue for them to come in. When we contacted them, the dealer gave us a really hard time to get them to meet us, and then after waiting an hour and a half at a nearby coffee shop, we called it off and told them we would message them later in the week if we were still interested. Again, he promised us a great deal. So he reached out to us the following day promising an "awesome deal" and asked when we could meet. We planned to meet the following morning. When my boyfriend and I showed up at the designated time, he was still with a customer. So we got coffee and waited. When he was free he came over and said that the only price he could offer was the one listed online (above our price range) and could not lower it at all, since they were losing money on it as is. After speaking with my brother (who also sells cars) we asked for a lower price, with no added payments (dealership add ons etc) and he brought his manager over. His manager was different than the one we spoke with on the first day, and he gave us the same story the dealer gave us - they couldn't lower it. And then he added that someone else was coming in to buy it that day so they didn't need our service. He was very rude, and would not let me get a word in to ask questions or to simply say no. We ended up walking out and buying at a different dealership.

My 2013 Ram went in for 2 recalls and warranty check up for rust. I call in afternoon to follow up and find out my truck was damaged and that the driver of it drove into another truck. Not impressed and very disappointed I had to call to even find out the status of the vehicle. Follow up needs to improve none then less I should of been phoned the moment it happened. I’m giving a 3 star review because they made my truck look like new (show room condition) when I picked it up. The service manager assured me that in January the paint damage and dent will be repaired.

Maybe fine if you have a lot of time to chase after the dealership. We bought a used car from Southbank at the beginning of April and the car isn't (so far as we know) a total lemon, so which earned them the second star. First off, we were told that all cars come with two keys...we're still waiting for that second key in June. A new fob costs a lot and the car works with a proximity sensor so this is inconvenient. I guess a few days ago someone told my husband the key is there (no one called us) but we can't pick it up until the manager signs off? Is it part of the deal, as we were told, or not? We also chased them for a price on winter tires (or some news on whether they got winter tires with the car that ought to come with it), but never heard anything about that, either. Our car allegedly came with an SD card with navigation info and a trial of the software in the car? But we never received it, so who knows if that was just something they told us to sell the car. This was all foreshadowed when we asked to pick up the car five days after signing but when we came in to pick it up, they hadn't prepared at all for us to arrive. Plates weren't on, paperwork wasn't ready, they were still cleaning the car (which had a trunk full of water when we got it). We also asked to have some issues (tire leak in the apparently new tires, checking that water in the trunk was from their detailing and not a hole in the car) checked out in the first 30 days and the dealer we worked with told us to bring it in before an appointment and pick up a loaner for the day. When we arrived for service the service department hadn't been told anything by sales, had no idea we were coming and didn't have a loaner for us, we were made late for our appointment by standing around waiting for people to figure it out. One of the issues they checked out (a persistent leak in the front tire that we noticed on the test drive, were assured would be fixed, came up again the first week of driving, was "cleared" by the service team, then came up again a week and a half later. It took them so long to see us it was no longer within a month of purchasing--so don't count on that 30 day warranty unless it's some devastating failure of the car that they have to fix. We don't have time to chase this dealership around for the stuff they promised us and so we're still waiting for basic stuff that was part of the deal. Maybe if you've got time to treat having bought a car like another job, this dealership will work out better for you than for us.

Purchased a used minivan from John Aladin and the Southbank Dodge folks this week. It was an excellent experience. They managed to get me almost $2000 more for my trade-in than a competitor. Late in the process, when they realized they missed explaining a Carfax report (an honest and understandable mistake in this case - it was minimal damage caused by the previous owner), the manager spoke with me, explained the situation, and told me that if I wanted to walk away at this point, it was totally my choice; no pressure. He ended up removing off the licencing costs to make up for it. I was very happy with entire experience.i

However --, 2 weeks after buying my Ram 1500, the call me asking for the steps back!! So back on pick up day for the new truck there was steps on it, I pointed our that I did not ask or pay for steps, they said not too worry about it. SO I didn't, I took home my new truck. A MONTH later they're now demanding I make a service appointment to give them back, I work nights so this is not an easy task to for me. Pros: Free hot chocolate that is decent Cons: 1) Prior to purchasing I was told my loan was 0% interest. When I got home and was able to read through all the paperwork, I learned that wasn't the case at all. 2) I didn't want to spend too much time reading all the paperwork at signing because the finance manager thought it was okay to remove her mask while we were in Covid "Code Red". 3) I need a truck to haul our horses. I told the dealer that. It wasn't until a week after the purchase that the dealer emailed me the "waiver" to sign notifying me that my truck can only haul 7,000 pounds and not the standard 12,750 pounds that Ram advertises. 4) There was a chip in the windshield during my test ride. The salesman told me it was "illegal" to sell it that way and it would be fixed. At pickup the windshield wasn't fixed nor were my tow hooks installed. So I had to bring it back and spend a day at the dealer for this service. At the end of the day, the chip was still there and I was told it "couldn't" be fixed. 5) Southbank failed to pay the entirety of my existing trade-in loan. Two weeks ago, I received an email stating that they made a mistake and funds would be sent to the bank ASAP. Yesterday they contacted me to say they've decided NOT to pay the balance and correct the mistake they made. In summary, my purchase has resulted in me paying interest when "no interest" was promised on a new truck with a chipped windshield that will struggle to haul my horse trailer. And there's also a good chance my credit score has been damaged because of the failed payments on my previous vehicle. But at least I didn't catch Covid from the finance and sales manager who choose not to wear masks in their small confined offices! This was my third and LAST vehicle I'll be purchasing from Southbank Chrysler.

Came into this dealership with no appointment. Our car had broken down and we live 6 hrs away. Upon hearing this, even though the service department had a majorly jam packed day, they prioritized it for us and had it diagnosed and fixed same day so we could get home! And to top it off they did all the work for as cheap as possible. Amazing service. We will definitely be back once we relocate here! I purchased 3 vehicles from Southbank Dodge. When I showed up with my staff to pick them only 2 were ready. The 3rd suddenly experiences a sensor failure so it had to go back to the dealership. I took 2 back with me while they said they were going to deliver the 3rd. 3 weeks later I am still chasing them for the vehicle, the guy went on vacation, the sales guy said. The managers were professional, but the sales person I dealt with was terrible. Unfortunately my experiences wasn't a good one and the dealership gets a one star. I had planned on purchasing 3 more but I will take my business else where. One business owner to another, fix your staffing issues.

I have never recieved such good customer service from a dealership service manager - he was extremely knowledgable about my vehicle and told me straight what I needed and didn't need to do regarding servicing and maintenance. I was previously taking my two Jeeps to Metro Orleans dealership for servicing but the quality of service at Southbank is night and day. Drove up to service and asked how long for an oil change. I was told about 45 minutes. I walked around while waiting, looked at vehicles and even talked to General manager. After about an hour I returned to service and asked if my car was ready, the service rep. went to see and came back to tell me they hadn’t started. I told them to never mind and to give me my car back. I conveyed this to the general manager and told him that is why the Mr. Lubes do well. I left and took my car to Mr. Lube for my oil change.

Went to them to look at 1 vehicle and after a second visit, determined that it wouldn't work. Was able to find my current vehicle on the second visit and had a wonderful experience. I have had a lot of issues with Southbank’s service department in the past with rude employees, which prompted me to ask the service team give me my oil and filter to take home to do myself, after paying for a service contract or services like brake flush and oil changes billed but not touched. I have submitted proof of work not done, and they have admitted on one of these occasions the tech didn’t do the work I paid for so now I check everything and I suggest everyone does the same. Going forward, although I don’t agree with this dealerships policy which doesn’t allow for an appointment for oil changes, this time it was done in a little over an hour. I checked the oil and filter and it was done. Whatever this team did with their recent management replacement worked. The environment was more friendly, professional and timely.

Went here in 2013 shopping for a new vehicle (the Jeep Patriots were too small but that's neither here nor there). They insisted on writing down my name, address, and phone number when I entered the building in order to "get a discount" from the sale they were running. Other customers were doing so. I said no thanks, just looking. They said I had to be on the list to get the discount. I said, oh yeah that's nice.. and looked around the showroom and the lot anyway. They seemed put off by the fact I would not give my personal information out to a stranger as soon I walked in off the street. Very pushy and indeed curious attitude. I can't say I recommend the atmosphere at this dealership. EDIT: I do not need a reason to leave a review, but if you want to know the reason, it is because I am reviewing businesses in my area that I have been to.

There is a reason I keep coming back to Southbank Dodge, and that is because of their EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. This dealership has good old fashion great service, like its supposed to be and once was a long time ago. These professionals take care and time to ensure that your being looked after. They go out of their way and they have bent over backward to make sure that everything turns out right for you. I have 2 Wranglers which I bought elsewhere and Soutbank treats me like I bought them there. I just traded one of my Wranglers in for a RAM 1500, because I need some towing power, and again they gave me the best deal, compared to other dealers. And I just feel that they have earned my business. I will keep coming back.

Lovely staff...horrible service. Multiple times when we've brought our vehicle in to have our oil changed or repaired there has been issues. One time they claimed to have the part for us to drive down and they infact did not have it. Lack of communication. Show up to them informing us that infact they need to keep the vehicle for the day and their shuttle does not go into Gatineau hence forth no way home, no curtsey cars, only rental. (On 2 occasions this happened) They are sweet and kind, but we will NOT purchase another vehicle from here nor have any service or repairs done once our warranty has ended... which will be soon.

I have purchased two vehicles from this dealer. The sales staff is awesome except for my f&I person she was a total joke. Paid for etching and told her it was never done I called her several times and she did nothing about it finally another f&I person got it for me within an hour it took almost a year to get that resolved. Now the agony of bringing your car in for service. What ever you do don't service your dodge here take it to another dealer. I'm a licensed mechanic myself and when id have issues id tell them how to replicate the issue and when it does it. They still keep your car for days only to tell you yeah no fault found. You have to make the effort and call them they won't call back. I've had issues I've been dealing with through this dealer for months and you have to put in all the effort they won't call you back. I've been in there for service several times and have never once had a good experience there. I wanted to contact dodge but couldn't really find a way to contact them. I even left a message to talk to the general manager and he never got back to me. Do yourselves a favor avoid this dealer go to a reputable dodge dealer. Once my pending job is over I never intend to go any where near this disappointment of a dealership.

My jeep was towed in with some issues with my new Jeep that was purchased from another dealership, one issue was fixed the other issue was not, was not informed that one of the issues was going to take more time, rather your jeep is ready to go. CAUTION... I bought a 2020 Honda Compass here on December 20. The website ad AND the purchase agreement (attached) both said 16 301 km. It was safetied by the dealership on December 22 and the certificate (attached) also said 16 301. However, when it was delivered on December 24 it had 18 296 km on the odometer and 17 953 on an 'edited' purchase agreement (attached). I called the dealership and was told that the additional 2000 km was likely due to test drives. That is impossible as it was only two days and, plus, I had already purchased it. No compensation was provided and, since this was a Birthday and Christmas surprise for my wife from our kids and I, and could not send it back. Also, please note that the following are NOT included in their listing prices and, in my case, were not pre-communicated (my fault for not looking more carefully at the purchase agreement): Admin Fee $999 + tax Gas $100 Carproof $43.50 + tax and OMVIC $10.00 + tax

I am not happy to have a $2393.71 repair cost on January 10,2020 after having a Peace of Mind service on October 15,2019 at a cost of $2296.05. The odometer reading Oct 15 was 100499 on Jan 10 it was 104418. How could 3919 kilometers result an adapter-engine oil filter leak and a leaking radiator needing replacement. And I was told the rear heat shield was loose and needed to be fully replaced but in the end was able to tighten the bolt at a cost of $129. How could a peace of mind service result in all this cost to me!! Twice a month I get called from the dealership wanting to buy my vehicle. Is this the incentive - charge her big for repairs, she'll sell it to us. I feel cheated, I feel there is something very wrong with the cost of repairs to my Jeep. Before the peace of mind, I had NO issues. NONE.

I disappointed the Maintenance service that I had yesterday: When I dropped off vehicle, I told Service Advisor (SA) that Power steering fluid and Coolant needed to top up. Unfortunately, the level remains same --- Yes, they forgot. I ordered Peace-of-Mind service which should include "Provide written report". --- But they forgot. Until I asked, SA went back to the garage, filled one for me without any vehicle information. They just made one! No Service Reminder Stickers on the window --- Yes, they forgot My bill was $130 tax included. I was challenged the peace of mind should be only $XX, the SA then changed the price right way. He knew the right price but intended to charge more --- Yes, they forgot the right price. Anyway, I paid for peace of mind service, but I can only confirm they changed oil and tires. Nothing more. Indeed, I bought my van here and have been doing service since day 1. But I would not come back again.

Southbank Dodge has the shadiest team of salesmen I've ever dealt with. They withhold the contract as long as possible so you don't realize what they are charging, do not explain the details of the contract that they are ethically and legally obligated to do, change the paperwork to suit and offer "perks" that in the end are an expensive extended warranty! I feel that they have taken full advantage of me at 81 years old, rooked me into a purchase that is $20,000 more than I had planned and over $5,500 for an extended warranty that was charged but never discussed. I am in the process of contacting Chrysler, OMVIC, a lawyer, the police regarding their fraud against a senior, go public and will see them in small claims court. Do yourself a favour, shop anywhere else!

The service department needs either a serious change in personnel or more hands on deck. I’ve had two incidents with my truck with the service department; one lasting several months to get resolved, and the most recent, a total disregard for the customer, me. My truck died on me. All electronics just shut down, nothing working whatsoever. I called roadside assistance, and got everything set for my truck to be towed to service. Since the truck couldn’t get into neutral, my truck needed to be lifted onto a wrecker. I phoned the service department several times throughout the day. First to let them know my truck was being towed to the dealership, what the problem was, and most importantly; my truck could not get into neutral, that my windows were stuck partly opened, and that I wanted the truck in the garage, if it couldn’t be worked on. I was told of course and the usual lines. Knowing this, I repeated to Dan the service technician, my truck can not go into neutral, my windows are down, your location is not in the best part of town, if you can’t work on it, have it dropped off in the garage so it doesn’t stay out over night! Of course what happened - they dropped it off outside the dealership, didn’t have time to work on it, and it sat outside over night. I phoned Dan shortly before closing for the update I was supposed to have as soon as the truck arrived (two hours before closing). When asked what was going on, he repeated the exact issue I relayed to him all day long! Not only that but said it swearing to me like we were buddies. Extremely unprofessional and not welcomed whatsoever. When asked if the truck was at least in the garage, I got the sarcastic reply that they can’t get the truck in because it won’t go into neutral I quickly reminded him I knew this already, and that I gave him all this information throughout the day! That at the very least, the truck should have been dropped inside the garage and then looked at. Completely unacceptable and ridiculous of how everything was handled. If I didn’t have packages bought with the truck that can only be handled at Southbank, I’d be gone a long time ago.

I came to this dealership specifically to work with Mark Desjardins. I bought my truck from him, I’ve referred him to a coworker who bought a truck from him, and now just purchased a Jeep from Mark, and frankly I wouldn’t want to deal with any other salesperson when purchasing a vehicle. Mark will switch around his schedule without complaint to help a customer. He is never pushy with a sale and is probably the only car salesman I’ve ever met that I can say always advocates for his client. All in all, as long as Mark is selling cars, I won’t be buying a vehicle anywhere else.

A gentleman came to down from accounting and informed me they don’t deal with 50 dollars every three months. Flipping his fingers at me giving me the bums rush. They only deal with customers that spend over a $1000 per month!! Well I took out my credit card and paid my $560 bill right on the spot. First time in 50 years our company wasn’t allowed to open up an account. Well you won’t have to worry about insulting this small potatoe again. I’ll take my $50 bucks every three months and bring my business elsewhere. Thumbs down on that management decision ????????

Purchased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee and love the vehicle. Purchased the 8 year rust proofing warranty and when I got the paperwork in the mail, it turns out it is only a 3 year warranty. I have reached out several times to get this resolved - the manager who sold me the warranty (Ivan) admitted that the warranty had changed and he had not been aware. I was promised that this would be resolved, but have heard nothing and it has been over a month. Not a happy customer. Update - Ivan did not call or send an email as promised. I have downgraded my rating to 1 star.

Humm where to begin.. we took our Jeep for a oil change and to put our winter tires on in November. Decided to go with premium oil for the winter. Was told that there was some warranty work that needed to be done in the engine area to make another appointment as this will take a bit. Dropped off on Thurs for scheduled appointment turns out when we were on our way to pick up vehicle from them at end of day got a phone call saying it was not ready possibly Friday. Called and called to be put on hold off and on only to finally find out that it was not ready. Gave us a loaner for the next 5 days when we finally got vehicle back. Seems to run fine until we started getting the engine light go off and on then our backup camera screen would go off and off periodically Four years we had no issues and now this. Made appointment to have this check out they said its fixed something with the doors that made the engine light come on and radio is broken need a new one for 4000.00 plus or second hand for 1200. But engine light is fixed go to drive off lot engine light is on still on two days later, radio working fine but we have to take it back to see why engine light still on. Happy not one bit

I traded in my Subaru Impreza for a Ram 1500. As a female, I am fotunate to be a mechanical engineer and a previously an auto mechanic, as well as the freedom of simply wanting a new vehicle versus needing one. So with the Ram 1500 brochure and the internet I did the research to justify my switching vehicles and the went to 4 Ram dealers, in Ottawa, trying to get as close to the model I wanted. I faced sexism, salesmen who didn't know their products and the whole "we have so much in common, lets be buddies sales approach". When I went into Southbank Dodge on a Friday at dinnertime, I was tired and fed up of trying to be manipulated. I met Youssef, I put my notes infront of him, which showed him the features and accessories I wanted, handed him all the data on my Subaru as a possible trade in. He looked at his available stock and said he could get me what I wanted, and took my cell # and email address; I left after about 15 minutes of very productive time and with a sense of being respected! The next morning in my inbox was an email from Youssef laying out the monthly lease rates with & without my trade in. He never pressured me to sign the deal and understood adding stress to my life wouldn't have been to his benifit; a smart and classy way to seperate himself from the other salesmen. I love my truck, in the short time I've had it, Southbank Dodge has earned my future business with how I was respected and treated.

Spent $800 for an under coating that wasn't even completed. If you pay for a service in full, you should be notified if they didn't finish the job at the time you pay. Other issues with regards to coverage. We have small and large coverage on our truck but a coolant valve isn't covered. However if the engine blows as a result they are going to cover it. How does this make any sense? Part with installation aprox. $600. What's the cost of a new engine? Makes no sense .... I was going to buy another vehicle from them but am reconsidering at this point. The day I posted this, all issues were addressed within the same day since my post. We received a loaner for the day we had to bring our truck back for the continuation of the under coating. I was notified that the coolant valve and labour was going to be covered after all. All in all, I'm pleased with how they rectified the issues I had; and their punctuality in doing so. I purchased a Ram 1500 from this dealership and was very impressed with the customer service I received. I wish to compliment Paul Curry on not only taking care of the paper work, but also taking care of the post delivery of the truck. There is a reason for only the 4 stars. I purchased a winter tire package with the truck and had the tires put on. When I got the truck, I could not find the key for the wheel locks in the truck. When searching I found all the hidden spots where they forgot to clean which was utterly disgusting. Then I find out that the tech that worked on the truck lost the key and I would have to go back and have them cut off. When going for the appointment, all of a sudden the key shows up, but they had to do a warranty inspection because the same tech forgot to save it in the computer when it was originally done. I realize that all sounds horrible, but Paul Curry took care of it all for me and made sure I was pleased at the end of the day. I also came in for an Oil Change (since it wasn't done when the truck was delivered) and was happy with that experience. But the dealership should wash the service cars, even if its just an oil change or a engine rebuild. It would defiantly make clients happier if they see their vehicle cleaner than it was when brought in.

Dealing with Southbank for the second time was the same as the first "Very Disapointed" They hurry up and get u to sign a deal then DONT deliver as they say. Picked up my new 2021 Ram and it looked like it had been driven arround town for a day the truck was FILTHY dirty on the outside as the did not detail the truck and even didnt have liscence plates on it. Oh my was I so disappointed to see my new truck again being given to me like that. I would suggest that they pay more attention to detail on thier delivery of a vehicle when you pick ir up as they do at getting u in the door to sign a deal

The last two times, I have asked them to check the rust on the hood. Radio silence. Not a word from the spring tire change to the winter one. Problem is only getting worse. I had it detailed there once. My kids could have done a better job. Likewise bad experiencefor a dent I asked them to quote a repair on. No follow up. No follow through. I will go elsewhere from now on.

Just hit the two year anniversary of buying my 2019 Cherokee from this business. The service dept has done well but the sales(trickery) dept are forever in my bad books. I have previous posts that explain what happened so I won’t rewrite it. If I can save one customer from what I went through then I am pleased. Of course having the company and individual salesman fined and blacklisted would be more fair. If I had deep enough pockets (and the energy) I would have stood them in front of a judge to explain themselves. I will settle for an annual post exposing my awful experience.

It is rare that I have service at done At Southbank that doesn’t have some sort of problem -there seems to be zero lack of attention to detail or pride in work. My most recent-parts were supposedly ordered three weeks in advance of the appointment for a recall-when the car is taken for the appointment no one seems to know what’s going on. After a full day they realize the parts aren’t there. Other work needed to be done and that was fine except when I got the car back the driver’s door inside was filthy from the mechanics. So much for Covid precautions and sanitation! The snow tires in the back were loaded so badly I had to pull over and rearrange them since they were rolling back and forth with every move of the car. How hard is it to fold the seats down and lay the tires down properly? Lastly, I wasn’t given the report from the alignment and had to call back to get it. Sadly, this is typical. I love the vehicle and have had it nearly 6 years. 6 years of service f ups. I would be thrilled to get a call from management.

I recently had the rear brakes done on my Ram 1500. Their estimate last fall was around $600, when scheduling my visit their estimate had increased to $800. Picked up my truck and the cost was $1,000. Apparently their estimates don't include tax? Also their parts charge was $640 (NAPA price for same parts is $315). Service was slow but good (took all day to do a 1-2 hour job). So the lessons are to watch for tax in estimates and be aware of excessive parts prices!

Bought my first ever Dodge product and went with the 2016 Journey. Worst vehicle I have ever owned. In 2.5 years I have had to replace ball joints 3 times, alternator, serpentine belt, battery, motor mount, axle bearing, transmission. Still needs front strut replacement, wipers don't work in the cold (known issue with Dodge trucks). Unfortunately talking to service advisor, told straight up that he knew many of the issue are common and that they use cheap parts. At least he was honest. I was looking forward to a great experience and reasonable warranty, but pretty much nothing was covered under warranty and will have spent nearly $8000-10000 in repairs on a new vehicle that I still have to make payments on. Afraid Dodge will not be having me as a returning customer.

Great buying experience with Mo and Charbel was excellent to deal with. We brought in our truck for the first tire rotation/oil change and the service centre was just as professional. The only negative thing I can say is that while I was waiting for the work to be done I was looking at the merchandise they sell but the workers behind the counter stayed in the next room and never bothered to ask me what I wanted. By Monday morning at 8AM, I had already received a phone call from Aaron to ask about the issues with my car and they looked into it immediately. I had a fantastic initial experience with the service centre. They answered all of my questions and found the information if they didn’t know it initially calling me back within a few hours. However, when I booked an appointment, they were unable to honour it and I had to wait 3 further business days until they promised to look at my vehicle first thing in the morning. When I called around noon the day they promised to have a look at my vehicle, they indicated that they might not get to it. Becoming frustrated, I wanted to know how it was that my Initial appointment was turning into almost a week without my vehicle. In the end, they called me back within 3 hrs indicating my vehicle was ready for pick up. This was a warranty issue and I’m actually not 100% confident they did what they said they would do... it’s not on my invoice. I was disappointed with the final outcome but would be willing to give them another chance because of my initial contact with them. They are an extremely busy place.

Very poor service. Appointment for 830 at 11 they took in the truck. Later that day they told me the truck would not be done until the following day by 10 Am. I drove to the dealer around 2 the next day Figuring it might be done and lone and behold it was sitting out front. I waited another 45 minutes For a phone call before I finally just went in. I was told it was Just brought out and this was not the case, The service advisor was very argumentative and took no responsibility. Also my truck has grease all over the leather seats. First oil change for jeep Wrangler purchased from Southbank Dodge 8000 km. I waited 1hour and 30 minutes. Lots of people walking around, chatting, smoking outside, general meeting in service center and buffet for staff, while I waited..... no one came to explain. Not even management. Appointment at 11, left at 1230. Poor service. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Very lucky that they sell quality cars. But the service doesn't reflect the quality of véhicules. I would strongly advise you shop elsewhere. My family purchased vehicles there, and for too many years went back for servicing. The prices charged always seemed a bit dubious. But it became a bit too much when they repeatedly charged us, many many times, for the same repair service, never actually fixing the problem. Finally, they issued us a goodwill credit ($150), but then they promptly grabbed that back in their diagnosis fee for the next problem, without actually doing anything to address that problem either. Their repair estimate was HUGE. We went elsewhere (Active Green & Ross) and had the problem actually diagnosed AND FIXED for less than the $150 we paid SB Dodge for nothing. Sometimes loyalty to a dealership is just not a good idea.

Much better experience this visit from Southbank. Joey from the paint warranty section was great and so helpful getting my warranty coverage straightened out and submitted properly. The older gentleman who took my Jeep in for service was great as well and very conscious of my time (sorry didnt get his name). Oil change was much better this time as the interior was not covered in oil and it was completed quickly. This is my first time reluctantly having to bringing a vehicle to the dealer for routine maintenance, however if the service continues as it was today I will have no issues getting and referring work to this location. Free coffee while you wait is a nice touch too ????

Today was the absolute worst customer service experience i have ever recieved. I had an appointment for 7 Am for an oilchange, tire rotation, and to address a brake issue. It is now after 1 P.M. and I just got my vehicle back. I was told that the person working on my vehicle was also the alignment person, so he had to be pulled off my vehicle to work on someone elses. Also was told that they only had 4 technicians working today. I dont feel that them only having four technicians is my problem as i had an appointment for 7 AM and it took them 6 hours. Having been visiting your site for quite awhile looking for a Jeep Wrangler one particular man I would always go to see. I cannot remember his name right now but he is a tall guy from Jamaica. He is so so very nice and very caring for one's needs. My whole issue was negative equity. But I did finally manage to work it into a Dodge Ram 2017 with 35 km. I love this truck and have never been a truck kinda person. The guy who handles finances in this Jamaican man's absence was the one who closed the deal. I had to replace a Grand Caravan written off in an accident and was referred by my insurance agent. The first thing I learned through the hard work of the sales rep and the general sales manager was that the replacement value of the vehicle had been badly understated in the insurance quote. Through their diligence I received considerably more money from the insurance settlement toward obtaining a vehicle with all the features and more of the one I was replacing. My wife and I were more than satisfied with our experience at this dealership. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and caring. For example, we bought winter tires and the sales rep came by our home to pick up the old summer tires to use those rims for mounting the snow tires, all at no additional cost. Based on our experience we plan to bring our minivan there for servicing, despite it being quite a distance from our home.

We have bought two cars from Southbank and the cars are great the service personnel are great. So where’s the issues? Southbank is close to the military base and all of us are always recommending them, yet there are zero service or parts deals for members of the military. I am certain that I was told by my sales rep that we would have free storage on our winter wheels for the length of our posting to Ottawa, yet that is not the case and unfortunately it is not written into our sales agreement and that’s on me. But come on, charging for storage and install, and then telling me there’s no time to complete the recall that’s out? That’s bad business my friends. $140+ for a wheel change and storage is a bit high don’t you think? I could have easily stored in my shed and done them myself, but I thought it was part of our 2015 deal but no such luck. Went back and bought a 2018 JL though, and still didn’t complain. But I think it’s time you paid us back a bit. I was also disappointed I had to walk around the back to get my car, passing by a bunch of smoking employees swearing about this and that. Maybe drop it out front or park it near the front, or make a new smoking area nowhere near customers. How about giving military personnel 15 or 20% off parts and service to show you appreciate what we do, and especially appreciate us being customers and bringing new customers in. Again the personnel are great and Guy was especially helpful.

My husband and booked an appointment to test drive a few vans on the weekend. Before allowing us to do the test drive they insisted on having the ownership and keys to our car so that they could appraise it. Never have I ever, booked a test drive and been asked to hand over my keys first before testing out a vehicle. The salesperson was pushy and wasted our time grilling us on our current vehicle because he said he wanted to close a deal with us that same day. After asking us 3 times for our keys, we finally said we were going to walk away if they kept on asking. He stopped at that point and took us on a test drive. He wasn't able to answer our questions very well so it was awkward having him in the backseat saying nothing. Although the van seemed ok we hated their sales approach and we made an excuse to leave right after so we could avoid talking to them any longer. We won't be back. We bought a Honda that same day and are very happy with the van and their salespeople.
