General Manager was hostile and is crooked. My wife's parents were sold an inurance policy on the vehicle which they were told would cover the vehicle cost if she survived beyond 6 months. She was very candid with the insurance representative that she was terminally ill. She survived 7 months and of course they would not cover the vehicle. This was no surprise. She shouldn't have bought the policy. Not only would Nissan not reimburse the policy which had no value to her widower, they refused to cancel the policy at the time of her death. The new representative Billy spoke with the insurance company and then looked me straight in the face and told me that only the policy holder can cancel the policy. My mother in law is bound in a 72 month policy which she cannot cancel as she died at the 7 month point. The manager grew hostile and raised his voice angrily at me when I tried to explain our situation. He yelled "What do you want me to do about it?" He then began to yell that he is number 2 in the country for customer satisfaction. He has since done nothing about it and has not even contacted my father in law who paid the vehicle off including the remaining $1000 of the policy just to not have to deal with these crooks any more.

UPDATE: This whole story did not turn out well in the end and we bought a different car altogether. We were told by the dealership finance person that we were refused financing by Nissan which was upsetting. We did not get a clear answer as to why we were rejected and the finance rep told us that Nissan was not a great car so we were better off without it. Some days passed and we received a call from the dealership sales manager who has read my review and wondered why we had not picked up the car yet. We explained why and he said there was a mistake and that we were approved for financing so we could come and get the car. By that time we had already purchased Hyundai Ioniq. I sincerely hope that Hull Nissan has looked into this further and fixed the source of the confusion. So far it has been okay, we decided on a Nissan over a Toyota but I have no previous experience with this make. The sales person was friendly and there was no pressure. As usual the financing discussion is a lot of smoke and mirrors but they are fairly transparent about it. The final paperwork is delayed allegedly at Nissan Canada so we are waiting. I will update and upgrade this review when we get the car.

If I could rate this dealership with half a star I would. I've contacted the dealership via their website with view to purchase a car. I got a call back from them saying that they had amazing offers and liquidations for the type of car we wanted. It turns out that they had no offers available and that they just wanted to sell what was available. Their Customer Service wasn't up to scratch either! I got my car here from Martino and got a decent deal from him. Mahdi was really helpful with the payment processing and arrangement of the schedule. I got worry a bit because the tires I requested weren’t available for delivery and they had to substitute to a different one. But they worked hard to get the tires I wanted in time for delivery and I was satisfied with to their services. Marc-Antoine was also part of this 5 star review. He actually had nothing to do with this entire deal. But he was helping me along the way on the day of delivery with a minor issue and he also offered to explain the features of the car as this was my first car. If that’s not exceptional service, I don’t know what it is. Overall, I had a great experience from Hull Nissan and would recommend to my friends and family. EDIT: Their post-sale service was also great! I forgot a few documents and had a question about the rims of the tires I got, and they were very quick to respond to my questions! They’re definitely not the type of dealership that treat you like dirt after the sale and I’m really glad I chose this dealership over the others. Special shout out to their Used Car Manager, Glenn Mathurin, for his quick assistance and prompt response.

Fair review: Maintenance and customer service were excellent. I go there as needed and they provide shuttle service. However; For the sales department, they are all about hidden charges.They don't explain things well about the payment and you would be surprised when you start the payment and when you know it, it's all too late. (Original) Malheureusement ce fut ma dernière visite au service de ce concessionnaire! En septembre dernier je suis allée faire inspecter ma voiture pour une fuite de radiateur que mon mécanicien de confiance avait temporairement réparé afin que j'aille au concessionnaire pour faire vérifier le niveau d'huile à transmission pour s'assurer de ne pas en manquer. On me dit alors que tout est beau, le niveau d'huile à transmission est bon. À ce moment on ne me demande pas de rien payer, je me dis que c'est parce qu'il ont changé la transmission il y a moins d'un an et qu'elle est encore sous garantie. On me recommande alors de faire changer le radiateur, ce que j'ai fait faire chez mon mécanicien certifié. Aujourd'hui j'apporte mon Pathfinder encore pour la transmission puisque recommence à faire du bruit. On me dit alors qu'il manque 3 litres d'huile à transmission. C'est alors que commence une argumentation, où j'ai même appelé mon mécanicien devant les aviseurs du service et il m'a confirmé que l'huile à transmission n'a pas coulé en changeant le radiateur, ce sur quoi les aviseurs blâmaient le manque, et certainement pas 3 litres!!! On ne m'a pas écouté me disant qu'ils se fient aux notes de son technicien, donc ma parole ne vaut rien. L'aviseur ayant fait la vérification originale ne disait pas un mot!! J'ai dû partir en payant 215$ pour 3 litres d'huile à transmission alors que ça aurait dû être fait la PREMIÈRE fois que je suis allée. Si j'avais endommagé ma transmission c'est certain que ça aurait été de ma faute!! Donc de payer la première fois j'aurais compris mais que j'ai dû revenir faire vérifier la transmission à cause du bruit qu'elle faisait à cause d'un manque de leur personnel, c'est ça que je déplore!!! Ah et aussi le fait que personne ne m'a appelé pour me demander d'autoriser les frais alors que j'ai apporté ma voiture pour une inspection. Donc comme la loi de l'office de la protection du consommateur le stipule, je vais porter plainte pour ne pas avoir été aviser AVANT les travaux et ne pas avoir autorisé les frais de 215$. En plus que ce matin je suis allée demander au département des ventes pour essayer le nouveau Pathfinder afin de me débarrasser de mon citron mais finalement je pense que je vais aller voir chez Toyota!

He did it and I finally understood and got the top protection for my new car. He was knowledgeable about the benefits of a Nissan Kicks. He was patient with me while I asked questions. I had forgotten an item in my trade in and he was willing to look for it for me even though this was after the sale closed and he no longer needed to think along the line of securing a sale. He took the time to explain all the bells and whistles to me. My experience with Billy Marcotte in the finance department was equally pleasant. Billy also helped me with question for my insurance company. I would recommend this dealer ship to anyone looking for a new vehicle.
